I called Monday morning a little after 8 and was able to get same day service scheduled between 3-6. I received a call from the technician Leo that he would arrive about 2:40 and then a text with the ability to show the route he was driving.Leo arrived and was very professional. He went the the various options to fix my garage door spring (cable snapped and the spring bent the bolt). He said we could try to just fix the spring, showed me the cause of why the cable snapped, and found the cable on the other spring frayed and close to breaking also.I chose the option to replace the older 2 spring garage lifting system with a torsion spring. Leo explained all my options completely and was willing to do whatever my choice was.I was given a very fair price, the door is so much quieter. The spring has a 7 year warranty.I very happy with whole experience starting with the courteous person who answered my call and ending with a same day garage repair.I highly recommend Precision Door Service.

I experienced a problem where the garage door wasnt working properly. I called after 5pm and surprisingly spoke with a person and not an answering machine. The following day Leo, one of the servicemen, arrived at my house at 10:15am and quickly solved a problem at a reasonable cost.Efficient reliable service when you need it. Precision was great! They came out within an hour of my initial call and was able to have it fixed before lunch! My only hesitancy in giving a 5 start rating was the price. I had a 20-year-old door opener that had a stripped gear and was not driving the chain. I spoke to three other area vendors. All three immediately said we had to replace the unit with quotes between $560 to $680. AJ from Precision came out within 24 hours took a look at the situation and suggest a variety of options ranging from repairing the old unit of $150 all the way up to replacement of the unit with h motors. We decided to go with a new motor with a push button and wall switch for $400!! He was efficient, explained everything he was doing and even corrected some of the problems he saw the the previous installation. I could not ask for a better experience. Highly, highly recommend them for your garage door needs.

Nice people but awful schedulers. Schedule an apt for 1:00 Thursday. No show. When I called it had been changed, without telling me, to 8:00 Friday. Waited until 8:20 and called after another no show and they said that was the beginning of the 8 to 11 window. Also used wrong tension spring initially.

Gabriel was actually early for my appointment (that’s a good thing), was extremely knowledgeable in helping us select the right product and installed it very quickly and safely. When he was done he left my garage neater and cleaner than he found it. My experience with Precision gets an A++ thanks to him!

Our garage door broke on a Sunday, Precision Garage Door came out first thing Monday morning and had everything fixed and working again. AJ was great. I would highly recommend Precision!!!

We had a broken garage door. Mike came on time, called before he arrived, did a 25 point inspection, described the work and gave me a price. It was not low, but was fair. He then proceeded to do the work and the door worked much better than it did even before it broke. Mike was polite and did exactly what he said he would do. Cant ask for more than that.

They charge $29.95 to provide an estimate and charge more than double what other companies charge. Do not recommend, I feel like I was scammed.Responding back to the owner. All other estimates I received were for complete replacement of the system with the newer, better system. All other estimates were free of charge and significantly less than Precisions estimate. This review is to let others know to get multiple estimates, all my estimates are for the exact same complete replacement but ranged by hundreds of dollars. All companies were prepared with materials on the truck to do the replacement but I let them know that I was receiving multiple estimates. I clearly asked for an estimate when I called Precision and did not expect their estimate to be more than 2x that of other estimates nor did I expect to be charged $30 for 5 mins consult.

Awesome, quick initial measuring appointment, guy who came out did a great job quoting and explaining the benefits of their doors and using their company. They had an extra mis ordered door that worked great for us that they had in stock and gave us a great price. From my call, to install, I had my new door in 1 week! I know thats not the norm as it take 4-5 weeks to get a door, I just really appreciated the different offerings that allowed us to get a door quicker at a great price

We just had Precision Door Service replace our old wooden doublewide garage door the other day with a new insulated garage door. Their pricing was right in line with the other estimates we received, Leo the salesman was very easy to work with, Beth in CS kept us abreast of the status of our order and the two installers did an amazing job. Today it was 20 degrees when we woke up this morning and since our master bedroom sits right over the garage, we couldnt even tell it was cold outside. If we still had the old garage door, we would have been freezing when we first woke up this morning and throughout the winter. Thank you for such a great experience.

AJ visited my house, on short notice, to solve different problems with my two garage door openers. He was friendly, prompt, and professional. He also walked me through everything he was doing, from diagnosing problems to proposing my options for solving them. I hope I dont need to have my openers fixed again any time soon, but if I do Ill most certainly ask AJ to come back.One opener wouldnt sync with any new remote Id tried, so I figured the antenna system was shot. But AJ got it working with a different kind of universal remote and explained what the manufacturers of each remote didnt mention regarding compatibility standards.The other opener had an internal plastic cog that was completely stripped. AJ talked me through the pros and cons of replacing the malfunctioning part versus replacing the openers head unit; I decided on a head unit replacement. AJ installed it quickly and without fault.I now have two working garage doors and remotes for each of them.

Great Service! I’m about to list my house on the market and my garage broke on a Saturday afternoon. It was terrible timing but thankfully precision door came to the rescue for a last minute request for help. They came quick in about an hour. I found them to be very reasonably priced and they did a great job on the repair. The servicemen who came out was also very friendly and professional.

Super disappointed with their customer service. We heard great things about them but couldn’t make it past their answering service guy. We initially called Tuesday and gave them very detailed information. We were promised a call back Wednesday. Nothing. We called back Thursday morning to check in, was told “the manager had a bad day and he’ll call me back today”. Nothing. Called this morning to follow up and try to see if we could speak to a manger but we just got the same answering service man who was no help what so ever. What a waste of time! Going with someone else more professional.

Terribly disappointed. I suggest not wasting your time.I called last week to schedule an estimate to install high lift tracks, new jack shaft openers, and any necessary new hardware on my garage doors. I spoke with the office manager, then the shop manager to schedule an estimate.Nearly a week later when they were supposed to come give the in person estimate, I received a call that they were not interested in doing the job unless I replaced the doors as well. They claimed the job was too involved and would require more hardware, but replacing the doors is a non-starter as theyre solid architectural doors that match the house. They did not quote what hardware would be required, and frankly it made little sense from an engineering standpoint as there is nothing that precludes a wooden door to be a high lift, the doors are not abnormally large or heavy at only 9wx8 high, and the openers and hardware are rated for much more.They admitted it was possible to fit the door with the appropriate hardware [doors which they gladly charged >$1500 to change the rollers and springs on just 3 years ago], but were still uninterested in the job unless we changed the doors.There is no engineering reason why this door could not be converted to a high lift, or have the openers installed - I got the impression they just didnt want to the job unless they got to sell new doors too.They offered no alternative, no increased pricing, just a cancelation on the estimate. They wasted my time, and in the end admitted that they were just too busy for a job like this.

The quality of the work is great and the office support team is equally proficient and professional. Today, my latest service was to replace a 13 year old Liftmaster Elite. The technician Mike was great. He completed the job from start to finish in about 90 minutes; answered all my questions; and ensured the work space was as it was when he arrived. I have never had a complaint about my two Liftmaster Elites (both 13 years old). The newest version Installed today is even quieter and WIFI compatible....great! I could not be a happier customer. Were very happy with the top-quality service and responsiveness of Precision Door Service. We had our door mechanism rebuilt about two weeks ago, which greatly improved the performance of the door. Since it was a solid cedar garage door, we hated the thought of having to spend upwards of $1,500 for a new door. Had them out last week. Spring broke on one of the garage doors. Called them and Geoff was there 3 hours later. He reviewed the issue and recommended upgrading the rollers from metal to cast iron as well as fixing the spring. While I paid more then I wanted to, the garage doors are original to the house (built in 1970) so spending the money to ensure it lasts (10 year warranty) was worth it. Geoff couldnt of been nicer and like so many reviews have said here, he was great. Straight forward, efficient, easy going and very knowledgeable. The reviews are 5 stars for a reason and we have our garage door company moving forward.

Broken spring :( We originally called the West Chester company that installed our garage door, and were told the earliest they could get here was 1-1/2 to 2 weeks out! That wait time was ridiculous (what if our cars had been trapped in the garage with a door too heavy to lift?!)... Im so glad we looked for another provider and found Precision! We got an appointment with Precision the very next day, the estimate was very clearly presented, and the work was all done in about an hour. AJ was friendly, professional, and did an awesome job!! Initial email contained employee pictures.Received another email identifying which employee would service the call.Morning of appointment employee called and introduced himself, confirmed scheduled time and provided ETA. He arrived on time as originally scheduled.He was neatly dressed, polite, well groomed and knowledgeable. We discussed the issue (frayed cable, single strand remaining) and he then proceeded to do an overall inspection.Upon completion of inspection, he offered 3 different levels of service from fixing the immediate issue to replacing parts that tend to have a similar service life.We opted for fixing the immediate issue.He went to work and was done in no time at all.I will most definitely call them for future service and would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

I wonder if I could give 5+ rating for the work. I met with a technician a bit ahead of the appointment time. After inspections, he offered a few options with pros and cons of each option. He explained clearly and addressed all my questions in the way I could understand; I’m not an engineer! He did great job to finish all installation nicely; all cables were nicely organized. My day started with a broken garage door but I was lucky to have a right person who did excellent work.

Broken Spring over garage door - A.J. Yanko was the technician who arrived when expected and made recommendations for fixes promptly and made sure we understood why and what was needed, and gave an accurate estimate of how long it would take. He had a very upbeat attitude and you could tell he was confident in his skills. He converted our old broken single spring system to a double spring. Our broken single spring trapped our cars in the garage because the weight of our double sized garage door prevented us being able to open the door manually. If one spring breaks in the future, the other spring will allow us to open the garage door manually.

The Precision Door Service tech arrived on time, and was professional and highly competent. He explained all the moving parts of the garage door, and what was worn, damaged and possibly a safety hazard. Total rip off. Beware of this company. I called them for replacing a broken gear and sprocket of my liftmaster garage door opener. The technician gave an estimated of $175 for a $16 part + additional service call charges. However, the technician was on time and very professional. So the 1 star rating is not for the technician, but for Precision door trying to rip me off. So I paid service call charges for nothing and finally decided to replace the gear and sprocket myself. Update: I got a nasty call from the owner right after I put this review to convince me that it was fair pricing and trying to prove that I don’t have any knowledge on how businesses are run. Mr. if you know how to run a successful business, this is not the way how you would treat your customers. You did not even give me a chance to change my opinion about you.

Ed and Sean came on a service call as a result of a problem opening and closing the door. They noted a few safety concerns that were discussed, along with cost for a few options. Knowledgeable, courteous. Not sure if price for work was competitive as this was the only company contacted and we would have had to pay a $ 199 charge in any event.

One of the vertical tracks on my overhead garage door was severely bent and detached. I called on a Sunday night and the service tech came out the next day, straightened it, and readjusted the eye for proper operation. I would definitely use Precision Door again if I had another problem.

Wow! Same day service!! I knocked my garage door off its hinges (rushing too much and being a human) and I was really worried because it was totally off track and would not work.
