I like doing my business with the UPS store in West Chester PA. Every time I go there, All employees make it so easy for me to drop off and mail my packages. They are super efficient and always polite. Every time I go to their store, I will be met with a smile and a helping hand. I cant say enough about this fantastic store!

Went to Ups to get a label printed out but was having trouble getting it to transfer the manager Marcus was so helpful. he figured out a way to get it done. I visited them yesterday having to drop off an Amazon return of an inflatable stand up paddle board. It was a real pain for them to repack and get ready for the shipment. The manager and staff that was on that did everything with a smile. Having been at this location before I can say that this excellent customer service is similar to what I have always experienced at this store.

I like this store. Every time I go they take of everything for I bring my Amazon return and say I need to pack, print and send this. It costs some money to send of course! But I didn’t have to think much about it. Next best thing to returns at Kohl’s

From the very first time I walked into the store, I felt like a valued customer. Even during busy times, I never felt the staff rush me or hurry through my business of the day. They are all very friendly, but Sherwin has been my favorite since day 1. Owning a small business, this store has made sure that I took advantage of every benefit from renting a mailbox to shipping, to printing. I have never once been disappointed with services or products from this store.

Ive had some issues with packages getting to my address and even sometimes delivered to the store correctly, but have always had a pleasant experience with the associates who work there, especially their lead associate, Sherwin...always patient and kind, goes out of his way to be as helpful as possible to remediate any problems.

I’ve dropped off packages a number of times and each time the experience is how it should be—quick and easy. But this most recent time I needed a bit more help with a project. The gentleman behind the counter not only helped me, he essentially took the project off my hands and finished it for me at no additional cost. Very impressed with the customer service.

They want $3 for a strip of tape or you can buy a $4 roll of tape thats about 1/5 the regular size of a normal roll. Total rip off.I thought I was being helpful in bringing the package to you, but Ill just request a free home pick up and make someone drive out to me going forward. Im sure thats more cost effective to UPS than 6 of tape.

Sherwin the lead service associate saved me!7:30PM I raced to the store and he rerouted a packaged I sent earlier in the day. I found out I was a victim of a scam 15 minutes earlier!! Sherwin took my call and started to help me over the phone and successfully rerouted an overnight early delivery package that was well on its way. I received a follow up call that evening and a call the following day when the package arrived back to the store. Impressive service during the holiday season!!! Thanks a million, Beth

Apparently Im not the only one theyre charging to tape a box shut. I probably wouldnt have been angry if it was .50 or even a dollar, but I had to buy an entire roll. If I hadnt already paid for my shipping label, I wouldve gone elsewhere. The kid was very matter of fact in explaining that everyone that comes in asks for tape and the costs add up.

Let me begin by saying that I did not use this location for shipping, but rather for the fingerprinting service. Between myself and my partner we have had three separate occasions that we needed fingerprints for clearances and on all occasions came to the UPS store. Personally I do not have an issue with quick no-nonsense service, which is exactly what we got. I could understand though that they curt nature of the staff would be off-putting to most, thus be warned that you will not be helped with a smile or any type of warmth. Regardless they get the job done and I have not had to return for a reprint after any occasion, so they are effective none the less.

I have been to this location multiple times to ship on both my personal and business account primarily because of the stores convenient location.Earlier today, I took an item to the store with the intent to purchase packing supplies, pack the item, and then ship the item. The clerk, Walter, advised me that packing supplies (a box and bubble wrap) would cost roughly $10 and shipping my item via UPS Ground would cost roughly $25. Okay, fine.I purchased the packing supplies and began to place the item in the box and pad it with bubble wrap. Walter had the nerve to tell me to leave the store to pack my package. I dont know if it is company policy or Walters policy to alienate paying customers but this was enough for me to decide to leave the store and not return.If I am buying supplies from your store and shipping with your store, why would you make me go outside to pack the item in the box? There is plenty of space on tables within the store and Im told to go outside to pack the item in my car... Wow, thats excellent customer service... Not.I cant spend 3 minutes packing my item in your store? Okay, I wont be shipping with you today, tomorrow, or any other time. Good job losing a customer over something so silly.Nate, former customer for years

I found the employees there to be incredibly helpful and pleasant. They seemed to be having fun on the job and greeted me immediately and were swift to help me get fingerprinted. I left with a smile on my face and felt better, which is not typically what I expect of a UPS store to put me in such a good mood.

Went here to return some textbooks from school. I showed up with my own tape because, like others have pointed out, they wont tape your stuff for you. That much is understandable. However, I wanted a box to put my stuff in, so I put my stuff on the counter and ask to buy a box. The guy tells me at this point, that Im not allowed to put my books in a box there and tape it closed and that I have to go home and do it and come back.At this point I just figure Ill do it in my truck and come back. So I buy a box and just start assembling it into box shape and the dude looks at me again and tells me Im not allowed to put a box together in the store. A box that I bought, I am not allowed to put together in the store. Crazy

I usually dont write online review, but after reading the UPS reviews online and then visiting the store, I had to offer my opinion. Maybe UPS hired new employees, or I caught them on a great day, but the man working there was the nicest and most agreeable person I interacted in with that day! No fear. Visit the store. They are lovely and very helpful.

Charged me for one single piece of tape to go over the side of my box. Never been charged at any other UPS store for this ever. When I protested, I was told, well normally it’s $3. Its not about the money dude! It’s the principle. Run a better business. Bad business. Rude associates. Never coming here again.

Don’t ever go to this place. Paid to have expensive shoes that were in their box, put into another ups box to ensure safety. Shoes showed up just all taped together, ruining my sale. No double box. Damage of property. Also at the same time I sent my grandmother a birthday card that never showed up. Horrible reviews of this store across the board. How hasn’t UPS shut them down yet?

I went to get my fingerprints done. Dennis was the customer service guy on staff. He was absolutely the nicest, kindest person Ive seen in a while. I watched him interact with several guests and was impressed with his upbeat cheerful persona. In a society rife with negativity, I like to give credit where credit is due. Did not contact my roommate when she had a package arrive, and charged her per package per day to hold them. She ended up with a $250 fine, and when she asked to speak to a manager, they would not comply. Poor customer service and no clear system for organization.

The cashier charged me for 3 bubble envelopes to return 3 Amazon rental textbooks. On Amazons website it states that returning the textbooks are free, and for the UPS store drop-off option, it states that you do not need to package your textbooks or print the return labels. The UPS store will handle that. This UPS store will NOT handle it, and theyll charge you for it. Ive tried asking for a refund from them by contacting UPS customer service, but they refused. Luckily, Amazons customer service refunded me for the mistake. Students, go to other UPS stores in the area. Theyve never charged me for returning Amazon textbooks, but this location will.

Hands down the most incompetent shipping staff, from the 1-800 call center to the lady that called me from this location. Why on earth would I choose to drive an hour to pick up a package that was ALREADY on the truck and out for delivery. Last time I EVER use this joke of a shipping company. You literally had one basic function and top down literally screwed up in every conceivable way with the exception of physically moving a box. Logistical joke that wastes both time and money. Go to FedEx or USPS even if it costs a little more.

Dealt with Dan Brady, the owner of the UPS Store. Had a great experience. Had to mail 4 boxes, 3 suitecases and a carryall. It was no problem. He took care of it all and I was in and out in a flash. I would highly recommend the UPS Store in Parkway Plaza.

The absolute worst experience at this store. The employees should be playing toys rather than manning the ups counter. Used to be fine when operated by adults. Now all there is, is two kids.Came in here a few weeks ago because I had a large item that needed a quote for shipping. Gave them the exact dimensions of the item and it’s weight. I explained that I would like to sell the item on eBay but since it is a large item that costs 4K I need to figure how I can get shipped first and what it will cost me.The one kid said they can build me a box for a $100 at most and ship it to the furthest possible destination like California for another $400 for $500 total but that if it sells anywhere closer it would be less. He then concurred with the other kid that these in fact are the rates.I put the item up for sale and it sold to someone in Kansas City.Brought it in to the store, waited for the kid to measure it a hundred times and make calls only to find out that they cannot ship it and it has to go freight for almost $900.I found online that I could collapse a handle on the item and make it much shorter. The kid noticed and said, ohh now we can ship it. Just wait for me to help these other people. After an hour in the store, now it was an issue with building a box for it that he could not do for some reason.Bottom line, I gave them dimensions weeks ago and they gave me a quote. If this really is a case and it can only go freight, they cost me serious money.I cannot stand this store and people who open their mouths to speak when they are clueless.You are an embarrassment to the UPS and to what being a decent human being is. This is no better than stealing. And owner, I dont want any of your replies.It’s all excuses. Anyone with anility to get a 300k loan can get a ups store and put a few kids to operate.Your family business has gone down hill and I never want anything to do with it.Next time you go food shopping from your family and pay a cashier, know that it’s the type of money I won’t be able to do the same with because your kid employees cost me them.

Just came on line to check the hours and wanted to say: If you went here years ago, come back. The previous owner or manager ran things VERY differently. The employees appeared to all be on work release, and were not very helpful. On a visit some time ago I went in and after just a few seconds I said Are you under new management? The person helping me laughed and said yes. All I do is ship stuff, so I dont know about the other services, but service Ive received has been great. Yea, they charge you to do things for you (like tape up the box) but thats what they do for a living, so the things I dont want to pay THEM for, I do myself before I go there.

Horrible experience. If I could give no stars I would.Walked in with preboxed, and prelabled item ready to ship. Simply needed 1 piece of tape to close each item.Customer service refused, amd asked me to buy tape.Little reasons like this is why UPS is struggling in the market place today. Is there anything lower than Poor-Fair? This is a UPS franchise store that a package was shipped from to me. In all fairness the store was not responsible for the actual delivery - the UPS driver was, but the store places a sticker on the box that states something like if this package is damaged do not contact carrier call this store at the number listed below. Well the package was damaged not beyond savage, but the driver dropped the package off at our garage around 6:00 pm - although we were all at home. So we never knew a package was delivered until the next morning after it had rained and our sprinkler system had come during the early morning. So you guessed it - I had brand new wet purchase inside of a big ole wet brown box.When I called the franchise store like the label said precisely at 8:02 am - I got worse customer service and attitude. I am so glad I was not in this store face to face with the gentleman because it would not have been pretty. I am not sure if hes the owner of the franchise or just a employee, but either way he needs to be fired or close it down. My advice is do not use this store better yet use Fedex at least they attempt to ring the door bell.

If there was a quality score worse than Poor - Fair, I would give it to this store.First off, the guy who worked there smells really bad and was rude and obnoxious. Second, he messed up two of my packages. One was some work sent to a client on the 14th of November for a 2 day deliver. Its still in transit as of the 21st. The second was a two day delivery to my mom for her birthday, which was sent on the 15th, which is still in transit. Please, if you have another UPS store to go to go there, because this was is poorly staffed, poorly managed, and cares nothing for their customers. Please google let there we lower quality score so I can give this store a Crap - Horrible score.

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to experience the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! First the attendant lied to me about the address. I was trying to have a package delivered to an address inside his store, but when I asked him about the address, he said he didnt know where it was. Huh ??? When I spoke with the shopping center management, I found out that the address I was trying to find was actually in his store. When I returned to the store, he was rude and obnoxious again, and actually suggested that I go to the U.S. Post Office in West Chester to ship the package to the address in his UPS Store. Again... Huh???? When I asked if I could just have it delivered via UPS (since I was in a UPS Store), he reluctantly quoted a price and completed the order. Completely unprofessional.

Very, very disappointed that today, Saturday, September 1, 2012, this UPS store was closed for the holiday weekend. I doubt I am the only person who needs to go to the UPS store on a Saturday at noon. It seems to be a pattern with this store: not to open on the Saturday of any holiday, i.e., Memorial Day. Given that the owner, Todd Ciccarone, doesnt bother with customers, leaving it to his employees, it is even more annoying that he couldnt schedule some of those employees to be open on a day, quite frankly, that people expect a store like the UPS store to be open. Spoiled big rich boy -- enjoy your holiday weekend --
