Prices at the grocery store is amazing especially on the seafood and produce host of The Price on kitchen Wares and various miscellaneous items are great I would definitely come here for the blue crab very fresh at an amazing price
I went to this grocery shop on Sunday night with my husband. I purchased one clay pot that doesn’t have price tag and package with others errands. This staff ‘’Chang Man’’said he couldn’t find the price and randomly giving me this non-sense price $49.99 ask if I still want it. I warned him to watch out his attitude. Then he pulled his face mask down and argued with me and my husband.I told him I don’t want that $49.99 clay potI just want to pay the remain groceries which is already packed in the shopping bag. He said NO! He has right to not serve me and he took out all of the groceries form my shopping bag. This is ridiculous of what he did. I did file multiple complains about this Market and this staff ‘’Chang Man’’. Hopefully others customer wouldn’t have this terrible experience as me.
Going thru remodeling so its a bit dirty. Overall has a decent variety of goods. Prices are okay. Lots of interesting products not commonly found in other stores. Live seafood for sale.
Love to get my Korean mozzerall corn dogs here..
Wouldnt recommend for produce but the dried goods are really good. They offer a good drink selection.
Nice place to visit if your looking for authentic asian food and cuisine.
As usual the market is stocked, accessible, but a little pricey.
Ample parking. Good place to buy Asian cuisine ingredients. Great price 👍on lots of items.
The electronic scale of the seafood department of this supermarket cheats customers every day, and charges customers at least $0.50 extra every time.My friend and I bought shrimp and fish last Friday and charged them $0.50 more each time. After I ordered them to correct the setting of the electronic scale, these two guys repasted the price tag, we got back three packages for $1.50 at least. Is it ridiculous? How many times and how many customers were cheated? If every day they have hundred customers, every customer buy two items, they over charge $100 per day. How much they extra charge and get every month?
A lot asian stuff and pretty complete here, about the price ok average
Very average chinese supermarket. Its not bad but its not great either.
Best prices and fresh swai was perfect
Had a great experience had so much exploring n seeing all the cool stuff
Great place to shop. People who work there speak Cantonese.
Alot of little shops the 7 eleven there is dumb the guy working is rude and he forgot to put our pizza in oven we were there 35 min
Its a cool place but I got beef with this one pebble that almost threw me off my skateboard
Nowhere better for Asian food. I love it!
I really enjoy coming to this market. They always bring in new items and a good variety of sweet treats.
Has everything I need and so e extra goodies i always find something fun and new and prices are fairly decent
I like to come to this Asian food market. This chain the stores are normally clean and organized compared to other peers. It is not as crowded as those in the San Gabriel Valley ones, the prices are a little bit on the higher side.
Waiting for this restaurant open, finally here, so delicious food!
I have no worries finding Parking space. 😁
The service was horrible. There were long lines and the cashiers were taking forever. Our cashier was extremely rude and selfish. there was a men infront of us and the cashier was being okay to him and giving him some kind of discount card and she kept reminding him and helping him but when it got to us she was being selfish and really rude. She bagged up all the things for the rest of the men but when it came to us she didn’t even care if we needed anything we had to ask her twice for a bag. When we were getting out a card to pay she started helping the people behind us and being kind to him, the cashier moved all his things in-front of ours and was politely asking him about bags, cards, or even boxes. We had to call her for help. We had to search for a pen to sign but then after she said rudely to use our finger. We told her to help us first but she said that it doesn’t matter she claims she didn’t do anything. This was our first trip and it was a really bad experience.
A young female clerk in the wine department is surprisingly rude, I askedto see the manager all the cashiers at counter just ignored me, one of them claim she is in charge but when i told her what was happening of the matter, seems she didnt care. obviously just perfunctory. never come back to purchase again.
Limited restaurant options, perhaps because LA is still dealing with the ramifications of the pandemic. Restaurant option menu prices were crazy.
Great place for my wife to buy her ingredients for her asian recipes
What kind of market doesn’t have a restroom for it’s customers?
They are very clean and things that you need they pretty much have it
If youre willing to try new kinds of food you may like this place for dry soup mix or fish & etc. Some times i like to buy their raw fish & cooked octopus to make my own sashimi 🍣 so i dont have to cook. Trust me You dont want my cooking You will find everything there. P.S. dont forget the soy sauce & wasabi. The people working there are more than willing to help you out.
I can find everything I need for Asian cooking. Convenient location and plenty of parking.
Easy access for asian foods..
Good prices and service
This food is good store for Chinese fish and mexican fish, i like in special pata de mula 4.55 dlls for 1 pounds is very good de price
One of my go to markets for asian ingredients. Especially if you want fruits and veggies that may be hard to find in other places...for example...dragonfruit, check....rambutan, check....lemongrass, check....live fish, crab, lobster...check check check...do yourself a favor and spend some time cruising around the chip aisle too....where else can you find more than a dozen flavors of lays chips such as well or kim chee?
Less products than other Asian super markets. The store is sometimes not clean. Store is very old.
This is my local go to super market. The fruits and vegetables are inexpensive and they have an excellent selection for the size of market. They take EBT and all major credit cards. They have a good selection of Chinese groceries as well as south-east Asian groceries. They also carry some Japanese and Korean groceries, but the selection is limited. This market is much closer to where I live then 99 Ranch or any other east Asian grocery store and is a great alternative to going elsewhere for almost anything I need. This grocery store has a smaller more intimate feel then the larger supermarkets and I always feel welcome. HK2 serves the local community well and is always populated with locals that are shopping.
I always buy Maxfield seafoods CLEANED SALT SILVER CROAKER, but lately I cant find in HK2 store. When I ask seafood department and front counter, they just want me to buy other fish, dont you think that suggestion is GOOD BUSINESS FOR THEM? My question are why they stop selling, there are customer demand and why they force to buy the one customer dont want?
Don’t ever buy fish or tofu in this market, fishes are not fresh also tofu most of them already spoiled. I came to this market because closed my house. Everythings are expensive. This is my last time to come back
Great place to buy any Asian product
Good food
Found what I needed at great price/cough syrup! Need to come back to check out food items. Staff speaks English, much appreciated.
Just your general chinese supermarket... can always find those chinese products im used to.
Good selection of food. A big liquor section. Price is compatible to the others, maybe a little bit more expensive not too much. Their seafood section is very impressive
A smaller than usual Chinese market that has all the things I need sometimes that a regular market does not. I come here if I am usually around the area since I prefer to go to San Gabriel and Rosemead to do my Chinese supermarket hauls. The market has had its ups and down, changing around their layout, attempting to expand into freshly-made foods, but it ended up closing that part of the market down and I assume its under creative design until something becomes of it.Other than that, parking is plentiful even though it shares the plaza alongside a number of popular establishments. I have always found parking here even during peak hours. It shares the same walls as a food court and a dim sum place which I have the opportunity to try and they are both delicious. Whats better than going grocery shopping and getting some Dim Sum or Indonesian Food after?
These food court are closing in the end of May...😥
Mediocre food at best. Bought some rice at the supermarket, which was very dirty and had terrible service
Love it, lots of interesting things
Its like an outdoor mall lots of parking. Caters to those with Asian heritage lots of food places a market some other hidden gems. Great place to go if you cant decide what to eat, little bit of everything here.
Best and most affordable price for White Flower Oil Highly recommended for arthritis, growing pains, head aches, and just help in making ur breathing better especially during this time of covid and mandatory masks . Entrance to the left medicines and herbal remedies. Grocery and fruits big variety, if you Love phillipino foods you can buy Lumpias there as well
Not a place for latinos people there Don T speaks English no one helps you
Always a good place to get almost all the asian essentials
Smell fish 🐟.
The lady at the counter where liquor and Lotto are sold is such a grouch, she did not say thank you, did not smile. Train this employee to appreciate your customers who buys from your store. Without customers this employee does not bring paycheck home.
Great deals! Large selection Asian cooking ingredients, and fresh fish
Good place for groceries, if you cant find what you need, there is always a guy you can ask and help you immediately. Fruits prices not expensive at all. You can even ask them to fry the fish you want. Everybody very friendly.
The supermarket is clean and has good customer service, almost a one stop shopping place.
Very good store
I was followed consistently by one employee making the experience horrible. I’m pretty sure she thought I was going to steal. Horrible! I just wanted some asian snacks lol never going back
Cool
Lots of good food!and fresh sea food!
I visited the Hibachi Grill Buffet and it was great. The center has many types of food that I have decided imust try. I hope they are all worth it.
Lots of all you can eat asian restaurants in one small plaza. Also, the market has fresh fish and asian groceries that you cant get most places at very cheap prices. Bought a 2 pound salmon steak for like $5 so really good deals.
The buffet is so delicious. Really good food. Great service
Nice delicious asian food we comeby
I like the roast pork in the food court. Roast duck is not the best but it is pretty decent.
I went into the market to buy some veggie and it only cost .99 cents but when I used my debit card knowing full well I have more than enough money I my bank, my card was declined twice. Then I try to use a credit card but they said I have to buy up to $10 minimum to use my credit card. So I had to waste time run to my car and find $1 to buy what I needed. They are also offer priced on a lot of their stuff that you can find other places that are way cheaper. I wouldnt recommend this place to buy food...there is a Wal-Mart and a Aldi around the corner. I just came here since I was around the area.
This Asian market is conveniently located near a major street in West Covina. Most time, the parking is not a problem, except major Asian holidays. This super market also has a long opening hours and 7 days a week. They sell a lot of things, not just groceries : such as wines and liquor, cooking utensils, and fruit trees and plants. If you came from Asian countries, then you will realize that in West Covina and Covina areas, this is the only super market that sells a lot of products from Asian countries. It is not perfect, since you really need to check the expiration date on the food packages and they tend not to throw away rotten fruits and vegetables. You just need to know how to pick and choose.
Yum Cha dim sum food was great, very friendly service fairly priced.
Asian food and Indonesian food
Good selection. Easy to get parked. I am a frequent customer.
Lots of items. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Great all in one Asian Market. Also near to eatery area.
The owner and employee was rude. The owner look like he was sick his eyes was really dark yellow. They dont respect the customer when you ask them a question.
Good variety of Asian foods not available in regular supermarkets
I am thankful that does market Opens till 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Yay!!!
This place sometimes have live crawfish whenever in season 👍 Prices on fruits are kinda high compared to other Asian stores. I do love their selection of alcohol although they stopped carrying Angkor beer which is a bummer.
Great food and service. Very reasonably priced.
Place is ok. Nothing great. Price was good. Ive had better.
Best place to get fresh fried fish.
Incredible selection!
WOW! You will not know where to start! There is so many amazing imports! Bring your credit card and try something new!
The food was very delicious and the place and service was very good. We would go back again
💙
The food was cold and tasted old
Very good place. Lot of parking and food and veggies are pretty fresh but the prices were just a bit higher than the SVG supermarket around but since it is very close to me, the conveniences take over the price.
The seafoods they sell are very fresh. I like it a lot. Also, the vegetables and fruits are fresher than those normal other Chinese markets (ie. Ranch 99) too. This is the only Chinese market I go.
I have been going for years. If you understand the culture it is easy to navigate. Great hard to find asian food ingredients you can not get at your local amreican grocery store(i.e. stater bros, or vons). Fresh fish that you can have cleaned and fried for free! Along with a cafe on the side you can get hot food too! A must go to if you love asian food and want something authentic to cook at home.
No handicap parking one space only
Good selection. Easy to get parked. No membership required.
My go to place for all my asian ingredients, produce is a bit pricey here but for all other condiments/noodles/seafood this is the place to go
The ice cream looks good.
Delicious tasting food!! Big variety of plates
