I looked for used car dealers near me and this one had the highest rating with a 4.4. Im giving them a 5-star rating because I think they earned their rating and shouldnt go down. Good selection, clean area, fair prices. Friendly, down to earth staff. Not the dreaded car salesman with negative connotations. I worked with Louis who was a good man and a Marine vet. He also speaks a bunch of languages if you know someone looking for a car but doesnt speak English.

I was looking for a used car and am so glad I found Auto Fair Inc. Louis was great - thorough and very professional and a fellow vet. You are making a mistake if you are in the market for a used vehicle and dont check this place out!

Wonderful car dealership I just bought my third car from Bill Junior today The reason I keep going back whenever I need any service whatsoever my car is generally serviced accurately within one day. Oil changes are a breeze, prices are better and beyond Fair.I can’t wait to see what my 5th car will be in about six years.

Bought a car from them, while still under warranty there was a problem with the car, brought it in for them to fix it then a month later the same problem happened. Brought it to a different auto center and the part they told me they fixed was never actually fixed.

Said that they had to get an inspection and yes, the car passed inspection only to have the check engine light flash on the way home. Our mechanic close to home said that we needed a new catalytic converter. The only good part is the fact that karma is a wicked equalizer.Dont fall for the grandfatherly like salesperson.

They make you write a google review as soon as you purchase the car in exchange for a free oil change. They have horrible customer service and do not car about your problems after the car is purchased. They sold me a car that did not last more than 3 months and blamed it on me. I have purchased more than 5 used vehicles from random strangers and never had a problem. They sold me a lemon and did not take responsibility. They should have a 1 Star review. I have consulted with 7 other Auto Fair customers and they agree.

Had a wonderful experience at AutofairCT. I just got a 2015 Tayota camry from them and they gave a very good year end deal. The process was really fast and smooth. In 2 hours, they got me a loan approved at very good monthly payments and in 4 hours car was registered on my name and I am out of the dealership with car. The whole purchase didn’t take more than 5 hours. On top they have me very good 3000 miles/60 days warranty on the car. Writing the review after driving the car for 500 miles, no issues. Louis is the guy you got to look for. Looking forward to do more business in the future.

I came up to see the car from New Jersey after several conversations with a Salesman. The salesman told me the car was perfect. Of course the pictures on the website presented the car as as perfect. The salesman was very cordial and said all the right things so I took the hour and 45 minute ride. The car wasnt even close to perfect. The car had a ding on almost every panel. I understand everyones interpretation of perfect might be different. But I have an 05 Lexus GX470 that I would say is perfect compared to this car. The car was not prepped or even close to being ready for sale. I know the car didnt come in recently Ive been watching this car for about 30 days. This was to be a first car for my 17 year old daughter. I didnt even make an offer on the car and had cash in my pocket. And for those reasons I give them a two-star. Deceptive

My introduction to Bil Jr was not expected, but he acted in the most unselfish way to help me and my family in a time of urgent need. We were driving from RI to Newark to catch a flight when our car died on the Merritt Parkway, right off the on-ramp. We were in the narrow breakdown lane with steam coming out of the vehicle, and no place to go, and our flight departure seemingly lost for our Disney vacation. Our two girls in the backseat were crying and my wife and I immediately called AAA for help to get off the road and to safety. Knowing the tow truck couldnt take us all and our luggage, and feeling very unsafe with the speeding traffic 3 feet away, I made a cold call to the nearest rental car facilities on Google Maps. It was after 5:00 but Bill Jr answered and heard the seriousness of our situation. It would have been easy for him to ignore the call since his shop closed at 4:30, or to say Gee, I wish I could help, good luck but - thank God - he told me he had a rental minivan and that he could be there in 10 minutes to pick us up. He came, we shuffled the kids and bags into the van, and left the car for AAA - after a quick stop at his shop to do the paperwork, we jumped in the van, and fortunately made our flight. We were ecstatic and thankful as we boarded the flight - and enjoyed our vacation. Upon our return, Bill Jr worked with us on options to replace our vehicle - unfortunately the vehicle we wanted was sold before we could get it, but Bill helped us by offering what he could to buy the vehicle, since transporting it to RI was not an option. The world is a much better place for people like Bill Jr and Sr who treat people right and do the right thing, when there is nothing for them. I highly recommend seeking Bill out, if you are looking for someone to do the right thing and who can be trusted to get you on your way. Most of all, I will always be thankful to Bill Jr for helping to rescue me and my family and save our vacation.

I bought a used car from them, first week and the fuel pump goes, I had to pay for the towing and waited for a week to have the car fixed. Now the timing chain is broken, they dont even pick up the phone. They are are very nice at first just until you get the car off the lot. Then you are on your own.

Fantastic service from the beginning to the endMr. Louis is decent gentleman who took care of me. They all are professional people. It was great experience bying a car. They sell the vehicle confidently and make you feel confident buying a vehicle because they believe in their excellency.

Horrible experience me and my uncle walked in to inquire about a car we saw online. We walked in and someone was sitting at a desk didn’t acknowledge us walking in. So we walked around the indoor showroom for a good five minutes. Then we walk to the back only to find the same guy we saw up front. My uncle said excuse me is there a salesman who can help us. He waved his hand and was like “yeah, yeah John can help you. We walk up to him no greeting or reaction from him. We ask him about the car we saw online and if it was available. He gives us a blank stare and says no. Then we were like we saw a car up front we like he just looked at us like he was lost and didnt work there. Then he goes the white one? We go no the one next to it come we will show you. We walk over he looks at it, looks at us and says with a blank face ok that’s the year that’s the price. Me and my uncle looked at each other all confused like is this how you treat customers. Anyway my uncle asked about details mileage etc. He didn’t know and looked like he didn’t want to be bothered with finding out. He sat there for two minutes playing with the switch for the wipers and lights. Us being confused again asked him maybe if you would turn the car on you can read the odometer to see the miles. Then we ask if we can negotiate price he looked at us and said no that’s the price then asked us if we were buying a car today and using cash. All and all horrible terrible service never have I met someone at a dealership that treated customers this way. We walked out and we went to New England Auto world were I purchased a great car... do yourselves a favor do not go to Auto Fair Inc

Purchased an older 2003 Expedition from Auto Fair since I needed a special Heavy Duty Tow package that their vehicle happened to have. As can be expected with a vehicle that old I did find a few issues that I thought needed to be taken care of. I took it into them and left it to be fixed. Not only did they fix everything I asked them to but they found two other issues that would be a problem soon and fixed them as well, all under warranty. They have been very professional during the whole process. I highly recommend them.

Avoid this place like the plague. The salesman, John, gave me the typical old ladys car story and told me she had always serviced it there. We pulled up the Carfax and there were zero records of it being serviced there. Then the story changed and he tried to backtrack but he was totally caught out. On top of that he told me there was nothing wrong with the car but when we started it up there was white smoke coming from the exhaust, evidence of head gasket failure. Plus the Carfax stated that the car had been in an accident. Even though he didnt deserve it, we were polite and thanked him for his time and started to walk away. Then he has the audacity to yell Itll be a long time before you guys buy a car, youre too picky!!. Ok buddy, let me just take your word for it and hand you thousands of dollars for a clunker before checking it out. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else but here.

Very bad place. They do the best when theyre trying to sell you the car but once sold theyre different. especially the auto workshop guy, cockiness through the roof and doesnt really offer help on their sold vehicle at all when given warranties by themselves.

Great place to go to shop for car great service

Bought a car about a month ago paid 12 cash and two weeks after the starter went. I was told the warranty can work anywhere witch was a lie and my car would not start and I did not have 400 bucks to tow it to them. They told me to get it towed and they will see if the warranty will cover well I could not tow it for 400 and worry about them not fixing it if it did not cover and paying 400 to get it back so I had to pay to replace starter and battery. Now it is a month I have had it and its having serious eltrical problems my car stals out when I stop and still having problems starting . I am very hurt buy this matter Im a single mom and that was all my savings I spent on a car that I was told was amazing. I will be there this weekend with a auto mechanic to try and get this matter fixed if not I will be in that court room asap. 2009 black dodge journey.

My review is based on findings after I got it back from them for checking the car cause the check engine light came on (which had been on for a week) that apparently didnt come on when they started the car.I get in my car and of course the seat is moved but thats expected. What I did not expect was my heat settings messed with, my dimmer was off, the CD in the car had been played and it was on the radio (when I turn on the car and press the radio dial the last thing I played comes on. But instead of the CD playing it played this gangster sounding station) to top it all off there was a lot of gas missing from them driving it to see if something was wrong. How long did they drive it for so much gas to be gone and they should have compensated me for that gas because now I have to paid for what I didnt use when I refill the car.I just have an overall bad feeling from this experience and would rather take my car somewhere else from now on.When you drive a car to find out whats wrong with it (on youre on the job) you dont make yourself comfortable and put on the radio.
