This is my favorite bagel place in union. They let you customize your egg and cheese or what ever you want and have great Coustmer service I love the jalapeño cheddar bagel with egg and cheese it’s far better then Dunkin bagels if you have one of these in town this should me your first choice I not a fan of the Coffee that’s one thing they need to improve on.

If you are coming here for a warm, crusty and delicious bagel, STOP, don’t do it, TURN around and find a local bagel shop. The employees here are super-friendly and provide great service. Coffee is also good.But after you receive your bagel it all goes down hill from there. After getting your bagel on a plate, not wrapped in wax paper—first sign of a problem—and sit down for what you hope will still be a delicious hot, crusty and substantial bagel you quickly realize that something has gone terribly wrong. From the outside, the bagel looks good. All the proportions are right, good amount of cream cheese, and the all important hole to bagel ratio is right. Then you pick it up and you know this is going to be bad. There is no weight to this bagel it is filled with air. It feels as if you let go of it you might be one of those sad kids that loses a balloon at the carnival.And then you bite into it and you realize it is not crusty—even after being toasted. And then you look at your OJ and see the problem. This place is a corporate clone of Einstein Bagel. Another place with friendly people that serves pretty good coffee, but that is about it. To sum it up, you want an air filled, frilly sub-standard bagel with friendly people and good coffee this is your place.If you want a good (or even an OK) bagel then find another locally owned place.

I was a little concerned my first time there, because I have high bagel standards, but the bagels are very good. They have tasty salads, fresh juice and coffee. Staff is nice too.

I love this place and their food . However the men that work there are rude and careless. They don’t care about your order and customer service. I see them smoking outside and come in grabbing food without gloves. I don’t know if there’s new management but I like it way better when the women especially Anna served. They’re more caring and always go above and beyond.

If I had to describe the word average I would describe it as a bagel from here. It is the single least impressive bagel Ive ever eaten, but not so terrible as to make it disgusting and inedible. Extremely average.

To be honest, they’re pretty trash with their phone ordering. This is not the first time. They pick up your call and put you on hold and 10 minutes later you’re still listening to them chat and take new orders that are walking in. Phone orders should also be included in the order. If someone calls before 6 other people walk in to order, you should take that phone order instead of having them listen to you take everyone’s order after wards just for you to hop on the phone and say you’ve run out of something that would’ve been available had you taken my order 5 orders ago. Save yourself the hassle and go to bagel box. Way more affordable, quick & great service, and amazing breakfast sandwiches

In a word: HORRIBLE.In more words: This bagel was an embarrassment to the word bagels.” It’s like someone who heard of bagels decided to make them based on a fever dream. I’m the cheapest person I know and I literally just threw out half the bagel breakfast sandwich that had egg white, avocado and tomato on an everything bagel. My husband did the same with his Farmhouse breakfast bagel. Just keep driving. Lender’s is better than this.

This is my first time here. The selection is lovely. The bagels look fresh. I have chosen the chocolate and sour cream muffin. It is toasted with butter. It is quite delicious. The staff is professional and friendly. I also appreciated the fact that I could sit inside and enjoy my meal. And by the way...the coffee is good too.

I just order a sandwich from here and It was made very disgusting. I called and spoke with the manager and he was extremely nasty and unprofessional... do not go to this one... please visit the one in union, they have very professional and their food is quality.... DO NOT GO TO RHIS PLACE... The manager told me thank you for the complaint and that there is nothing he can do about it....

This was the lettuce that was inside of my tuna wrap. Brought it to the cashiers attention and she did not seem to care or offer to correct this. Wont be coming back here. Im good. Check your food people.

Fresh bagels and bagel sandwiches, although a bit pricey. My order of 4 breakfast sandwiches was prepared quickly and correctly.

The bagels and breakfast sandwiches are pretty good, the coffee - not so much. I ordered a vanilla hazelnut latte and a mocha latte and they both tasted terrible. They were very watery and had a chemical aftertaste like the machinery was not thoroughly cleaned. The service is a little slow as well.

Manhattan Bagel made me a pumpernickel bagel with scallion cream cheese, capers, cucumbers and lox!!! It was so freakin Yummy!!!Thank you for making my taste buds smile :)

Excellent. The jalapeño classic was delicious as was the French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Vanilla nut coffee was great—not too strong not too weak. Adding MB to my regular breakfast go-tos!

And then to apologise for the inconvenience want to give you a 100 number that only takes emails so its just a waste of time I mean really if you really sorry go buy some real bacon that you actually have to cook what the hell we pay $9 a sandwich for to get microwave bacon you should know what each restaurant is doing and the one in west orange sont cook . I will go there now and take a picture trash expensive trash.

Decent but definitely over priced. A breakfast sandwich bagel and an orange juice can run you $10+

This is by far my favorite breakfast spot.For some Reason they meet my expectations. I ask for the LEO omelette with green peppers, avocado and cheese well done. It comes out perfectly every time. They deserve 5 stars but if they had better coffee and better seating I would definitely give 5. The employees are great too.

We are regulars here and we have never had a bad experience. The staff are so nice. They get your order right, it is quick service and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Great little breakfast/brunch spot.

Place an order through Uber Eats had a taste for veggie cream cheese bagel. I got everything but the veggie cream cheese so disappointing to have had regular cream cheese on my bagel. This is my first time having Manhattan Bagel and I wont rush back to have it again.

The food is so fresh. A bit pricey but well worth it.

It never fails. They always screw up my order. I should have learned my lesson the first time but I havent found another breakfast spot. Every single time I order there for take out, they either forget to pack one item or dont toast my bagel or add capers when I order them without. I really want to love this place because the people are nice but the reliability of getting your order correct is horrible.

I am a fan of their bagels and egg sandwiches. Also enjoy their fresh baked cookies. Their coffee is not my favorite but it is not bad. Would have given 5 stars but sometimes they seem understaffed and it takes longer than you would expect to get your order.

Fantastic pastries including muffins, croissants, and apple turnovers. Always enjoy my stop at Manhattan Bagel West Orange for coffee and nearly any other meal or snack for the day.The most amazing toasted plain bagel with butter and an amazing cheesesteak. Always a nice touch of fruit with a sandwich. Love all their iced or hot espresso and coffee drinks. The best, most helpful and efficient service. First time I ordered from them I was at work so it was via Uber Eats. Sandwich was so good I had to make a stop in there today and there was no disappointment. Bagels are fresh and they dont charge extra for egg whites like other places. Thats 5star for me.

The Compassionate Care staff is named correctly...my pup had temporary paralysis. Upon bringing him in I literally broke down at the front desk...the Care team helped to calm me...they empatherically helped me pull it together and gave me hope while admitting us. My anxiety and fear levels were off the charts. My furry baby is on the mend...we have a long patient road ahead of us but Im glad to know I have an extended family at Oradell.xo

We came by to the turtle back zoo and were hungry so we stopped by Manhattan Bagel, we were greeted by Anna. She provided excellent service knew her lattes and flavors and made experience very homey. Thank you keep it up and she made me a chai latte and it was excellent tasting. Truly appreciate it and its a must go place for food which was delicious and coffee and other specialties.👋

Awful experience. They pick and choose who they serve first. I was standing in line for quite a while when an older white man walked up to the counter. He hadnt even decided what he wanted yet, but THE MANAGER waited patiently for the man to make up his mind. I told the manager that I was first and that there was a line waiting. The MANAGER told me, IM GOING TO TAKE HIM FIRST!!! (He said it as if I was being scolded for speaking up. What is THIS? South Africa?) I said, Really??? and I continued to wait because I was very hungry and NEEDED to get to work. Needless to say, I was very angry! My time is just as important as that mans time and my money just as valuable. I dont need to start my mornings off with aggravation. They can keep their meh/pricey bagels. I WILL NOT BE BACK. I am going where I can get some RESPECT! I am going where they leave their white worshipping ways outside of the workplace.

I was not happy with the fact that the staff where not wearing facemasks nor did the manager have the clientele a here to social distancing protocol. There where senior citizens in there.

The food was good and came out fast. Place was clean. The staff was friendly and courteous.

If it was possible to give them minus stars I would. I order a whole wheat toasted bagel with butter. I received a plain everything bagel (not whole wheat) not toasted. I go back to the counter and there is pushback from the cashier. I explain their mistake and ask them to correct it. I wait again for my order which comes back incorrect again. I return to the counter, receive more attitude and request the order be corrected once again. This time they get the bagel correct but they put more butter than bagel in which made it inedible. I again went back to the counter to see if anyone there would volunteer to eat their food. Unfortunately, there were no takers and I walked out in disgust. In sum, if you want to waste a lot of time and walk out in frustration, Manhattan Bagel is the perfect spot.

My experience was horrible. The place closes at 4:00 as Im grabbing the door to walk in exactly at 4:00 the employee locks it on my face. I knocked to see if I could buy a sandwich and she said no. I will never use this place again. The worst customer service I ever encountered.
