I came all the way from Brooklyn nyc to New Jersey for one of these!They have a variety of bagels they make daily. You can have them made with anything and anyway you crave!The service is fast, staff are pleasant and food is made fresh on-site.When in NJ and craving a bagel sandwich done right, GO HERE!

The bagels and spreads are incredible. Everything is reasonably priced, too. The spot is a must when were visiting my mother-in-law. I am, though, docking a star because none of the staff were wearing masks.

I’ve gone here almost everyday for weeks and the women are consistently rude. A final straw was when one woman rolled her eyes at me because I asked for less ice. I’ll save my money going forward.

This business is evidence of what happens when theres no real competition. Always very busy and incredibly and disorganized. Several people behind the counter and always a very long wait for simple orders.the manager is as rude and as the staff.

Such nice bagels in the AM. The muffins are great! Place is always busy but the staff is quick and friendly. Parking is a little tight but still worth it for a warm bagel in the AM.

Listen. Make the trip. Bagels are fresh. They are generous with the Taylor ham. Service is super quick. Just go already!

We live close by and have been to The Bagel Box between 25-30 times. I would say that we have had negative experiences over half of those visits. This is because there is one particular woman that works there that is consistently rude and makes our experiences negative (both over the phone when we place orders and then in person when we pick up orders). After being the recipient of her rude and nasty behavior yet again today (she bizarrely accused my wife of lying to her), I cannot tolerate her behavior any longer and we will not be giving The Bagel Box our business any more. Bagels by Jarrett is a really outstanding alternative that is also close by and we will be giving them our business going forward.

Got the chocolate mousse cake and it had fungus on it.

The bagels are always hot and fresh and the staff is friendly. Avoided for awhile because they werent doing much to encourage social distancing by limiting the amount of people standing in the store during the height of the pandemic, but I went today during off peak and it was fine.

They constantly messed up my orders... And they are inconsistent with prices. One day they charge you one thing, the next they charge you another, they tell you that you order comes with a side,they next they tell you it doesnt.. they give you a price for something over the phone and when you go in they charge you another... They are just an inconsistent mess. Im done with this place!

Pretty good New York style bagel shop here in West Orange; long lines, credit card use minimums, and even non-english speaking workers, all conspire to provide a satisfying over- stuffed bagel with multiple choices of tasty toppings (butter, tuna, lox, egg salad, etc.). Cant go wrong if thats your craving. Oh, of course only regular (and decent) coffee to wash it down. Definitely nap time after!

Bagel box is great! They always have a vast selection of different bagels and toppings and always fresh! It’s usually loud and crowded but you’re always out in under ten min all food is made fresh to order so I like to order in person if you’re waiting to order stand on the right, waiting for food stand on the left ;) I miss the cranberry apricot cream cheese they should bring that back oh did I forget all the speciality cream cheese are made there?! Waaaaaay better than that pre packaged stuff

Everytime I order from here they mess up my salad. Every single time and it’s so frustrating. Today I got a salad that didn’t have the chicken cutlet instead grilled, they added onions and cucumbers when I didn’t want that, they had 2 small roasted pepper pieces and the salad is suppose to come with that wish they added more, they didn’t put pesto on it when it was suppose to have it. If they did barely any. I have a baby so I can’t just leave to return the salad in the snow. So angry because this has happened on multiple occasions with different salads. DONT ORDER SALADS FROM THERE lol TERRIBLE.

Ok. I normally love it here. But I went in this morning and some of the employees are not fully wearing their masks to serve the food, I saw one employee preparing what seemed to be a large order with no mask on talking over the food that she was packing. Also they aren’t wearing gloves, or are only wearing the gloves on one hand. I honestly regret getting food from here today. Probably won’t go back until after the pandemic

Bagel box have shown me time and time again that they are incompetent! I placed an order on the phone and first the lady had me wait 10 minutes. She finally gets on the phone and I have her repeat my order (because this happened to me before) and after 30 minutes I go and pick up my order to find out that it’s lost. So the lady tells me she’s going to make my order I wait in my car for another 10 minutes and return to the bakery and she tells me oh I said no I don’t want my order. So for waiting an 1 I received no food. If Bagels by Jarrett were open I would have gladly went to him but seeing as it s Tuesday I was out of luck!

One of the women preparing the bagels was not wearing her mask properly. It was sitting below her nose, and when I asked the cashier to tell her to fix it please, she pulled it up and then immediately let it fall back down again. This is a pandemic, and she is touching food. This is completely unacceptable and disappointing considering I usually love bagel box and get great service.

I got fresh hot bagels the other day. Wow. I love fresh hot bread.

We love this place. My wife and her family have been going here for years. We usually get the locs with some cream cheese. Ive seen a ton of people come in to get coffee. So it must be good too. Small and family owned. Go here for your bagels!

OK, these people who work at the Bagel Box do not understand English. We asked for a dozen assorted bagels. We received a dozen egg bagels. We then reiterated that we wanted a mix of different bagels like garlic, sesame, everything, etc. Two egg bagels were taken out of the bag and replaced with 2 garlic bagels. We live about 3 hours away in Upstate NY and wanted to bring some good bagels home. We were frustrated and disappointed.

Product is good.People that frequent that place are not.And the line is incredible.Theyre busy and working hard but they are not efficient. I think an efficiency export could move the locals that are putting hot sauce on everything through faster

The bagels are better than average for a NY/NJ bagel and the other food is good. The service is abysmal and food prep can take a long time. They tend to be disorganized and overwhelmed and if they’re not messing up my order, I witness them messing up someone else’s order.I hope the owner sees this because they have a good product but very poor execution. GET A BETTER POS SYSTEM AND CREDIT CARD SYSTEM.

We moved to West Orange a year ago and I have been searching for a good bagel spot...I FOUND IT!!! This place is wonderful. I even went in here when it was a bit busier and the wait was still not that bad!! I almost don’t want to leave a good review so it doesn’t get crazy busy but of all places, this one deserves it!

They are always really busy, but always on top of their orders and the food is delish. Definitely a nice little bagel spot with good customer service.

Bright 2 dozen flagels across the country on the plane....my seatmates were super jelly! Smelled delish the entire flight!

25 minutes to get 4 sandwiches and a dozen bagels. I wont eat until later but I hope theyre worth the wait.

Always good, people are very nice. The first time I went I had no cash on me and did not meet the minimum for a card, but he did it anyway without making me buy anything else. And they have done that for me every time since. Love this place

I ordered food to be delivered for someone as a surprise. I provided the individual over the phone with my credit card information. When the food was delivered to the individual, they had to provide their own credit card as payment because Bagel Box failed to charge my card with the information provided or follow up with me if there was an error that occurred. That is frustrating and defeats the purpose of me ordering the food in the first place.

I ordered a bacon egg white on rye . Only to get home and discovered that the bacon was burnt ‼️ I WILL NOT go back there again . IT SEEMS AS IF EVERYONES IN A RUSH TO GO NO WHERE. Dunkin donuts will never go out of business🤨

I faithfully get their grilled chicken salad for lunch and its amazing!! The chicken is always so fresh, tender and juicy. They just added ice-coffee and fresh fruit salad to their menu which is equally delicious!! A must go eat if you are in the area!!

This place is the WORST place do not buy food from here. I order a Cesar Salad and it came with a side on insects. It was so gross. Then I called them and spoke to their manager ROBERTO and he was not friendly and he wouldnt refund my money back. This place should be closed down. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to get sick.

They send out coupons a lot, so we will get a dozen bagels for $6. The bagels have been pretty good, and weve had no problems getting in and out quickly.
