For some reason this place shows up under two different names on Google maps - La Cabana and La Cabana Latin Grill. This place has all the typical Latin food you could wish for. The menu is very extensive and ranges from quick bite picks to a substantial seafood or steak meal. The food is simply delicious. Their Birria Quesa Tacos were simply amazing. I apologize for the photo of it - the dish looked so yummy, I ate most of it before realizing I havent taken its photo. The lighted patio with music was a welcome alternative to the indoor seating. The staff is very friendly and prompt. I have my eyes on many other things to try from their menu.
Excellent experience with the staff and food. I had the choriqueso for appetizer with an horchata to drink. I recommend this app because the chorizo to queso ratio was spot on for the flavor I wanted, and the portion and communal plating definitely made it perfect for a group, although I shamelessly ate it all to myself. The birria tacos were outstanding as well, with a perfect crunch in each bite of the tortilla and stringy cheese reminiscent of a good pizza. I was not happy about the close proximity in which another couple of patrons were sat, because the lady in the party was continously hacking during her meal which was an appetite killer. Fortunately, they arrived at the tail end of my meal, not for fear of covid but for the fact she kept trying to be polite and not cough towards her friend, so instead she turned her head and sent it my way. Some other notes were although small, it had plenty indoor and outdoor seating with a covered porch and outdoor counter serve window. I would defintely recommend and I would definitely return regularly as its fairly close to work for me, the price is fair, and the food quality was outstanding, with good customer service to boot, which is a pairing that is not commonly found in restaurants in the area.
SO DISAPPOINTING. The food is not worth the amount of money they charge. Yuca was burnt, portions are small, yellow rice taste like boxed rice and customer service is a joke. I called to ask a question, they placed me on hold without asking me to hold. Overall my experience here was not worth $70. From past reviews they serve better mexican food than cuban food. Save yourself from spending so much money
Been meaning to stop over at this place for some time now still need to try their food we had their Cuban coffee only today specifically the Cafe Con leche and the Cortadito. It was good but not as good as Capri on Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach. But were going to give this place a chance as we keep seeing people online every time we pass bye. I will update my review once I have a meal here.
Good service, good food. We enjoyed being there. Is not inexpensive. Lunch. Average or little higher than other restaurants in area.
Loved it. Decent size outdoor area and the inside is medium sized but very clean. Good mixture of Mexican and Cuban food and the stuff was very nice.
I ordered 8 cheese empanadas and 6 guava empanadas. They separated them into two boxes but when I ate two of the ones labeled “guava”. It was all cheese. When I called to tell them, they only wanted to give me a refund for 3 guava saying that it was an accident. If it was an accident, then how did they know how many empanadas to give me a refund for? Extremely rude… I will never be coming here again.
Wow. I’m speechless for how amazing this food is!! I have such a nostalgic high from this food! The margaritas are a must! Boyfriend review : YA GOT IT, NO REALLY I LOVE THIS FOOD OVER HERE, I came with a “well let’s see how this goes”mentality but man they were impeccable fast service, we ordered biria queso tacos, and they offered the appetizer and we got the guacamole that was super fresh and mouth watering with salsa and chips …. They served us very fast and the margaritas were top notch !!We live 5 minutes away … guess you could say we are regulars now. I recommend it to everyone!!
Good service. Great food. My go to is their chorizo. Chorizo tacos and chorizo burrito. You got to try it if you visit here.
Excellent place.. loved the birria quesa tacos
The cuban coffee was not to my liking. The service was very good. Would recommend that you learn more about our culture and cuban coffee should be strong and bold. But like I said hard working people there. Is a shame they were not thought well. Came a long way Indeed needed more than just coffee. It was like drinking American coffee. Thanks you and take my advice. Training the staff well.
Food came out quickly, and the rest of the staff was nice.Everything was delicious here, you cant go wrong with whatever you order here
Wow! Very good, filling and satisfying. Reasonable prices on meals.
This restaurant has THE BEST birria tacos I have ever tasted HANDS DOWN. I’d like to review other things on the menu, but this is all I can order cause it’s really that good! It’s really authentic food and the service is amazing!! Guacamole is really fresh and I don’t know what they put in that salsa but YES PLEASE.If you see me here every day, please mind your business
This place is amazing and there food incredibly delicious. There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about Thai place
We went there to try the Birria tacos that they advertised on instagram. The picture on instagram looks great, but the tacos were not. My daughters looked they werent even made in the same place. The tacos are very greasy, and the meat besides being burnt was flavorless. The Birria was also flavorless, basically red water. We wont be back. The service was good, and waitress was very nice, but the cook doesnt know how to cook. Im really not sure how they have such high ratings.
Nice little spot. Great food!
We ordered the burrito and encheladas. Not only did we wait almost one hour to to even order (just us in line) the service was awful and the food was worse! No flavor, really soggy, whoever reviewed anything other than 1 star is either working there or paid to do so.- a real human being (p.s my girlfreind compared the encheladas to porridge
Great restaurant with great food. A great menu for a smaller place. Excellent selection of Mexican and Cuban food. You cant go wrong here. I had the steak and shrimp fajitas. The pan came out sizzling and smelled great. Food was awesome and delicious. Will be back for sure. We had the fried ice cream for the dessert and the Tres Leches. OMG it was so good.
I will not recommend this place. The price does not match the quality of the food at all, very poor food quality and very small portions. Meat was very, no flavor in any of the dishes we ordered. Terrible! We will not go back again.
Best queso birria tacos ive ever had. This place is the best.
They forgot what we ordered. Then when we got home we had nasty refried beans instead of the black like we asked for. Yellow rice was ehh. Think it was over priced
OMG my new favorite Mexican Restaurant!!!. 45 minute drive for us, but definitely well worth it! We ordered the Birriata Tacos, Chalupas, and street Corn. Everything had so much flavor!!
Food was good and we will visit again.
Awesome place for food. Great owners. You cant go wrong here.
Not Bad Not super good. Just Ok.
We had just left the botanical gardens and hubby and the kid wanted Tacos. I am trying to be good, so I yelped Taco Salad and wallah here is where we wound up.You get free chips and salsa and we opted for Queso as well. I do not normally order this but apparently its a much larger size than normal. It was good, but again, just wasnt something I normally order.I go the cafe con leech and the taco salad with chicken. I was offered shredded or grilled chicken as well as re fried beans or black beans. I told her to surprise me since I think workers usually know what is best. And it was absolutely delicious. She gave me shredded chicken and black beans which was yummy. My husband got the wet burrito. He said it was very good but I dont like wet burritos so I didnt even try it.My step child got 3 tacos, black beans and brown rice. The tacos were filled to the top and she stated they were delicious. We will definitely return when in the area.
First time here and loved it! Will be stopping by here again! Delicious 😋 love the banana shake!
I got the Birria tacos they were good but really greasy! The consome was really good.. I would go back to try something different.. if you really want good Birria, this is not the place..still looking around for a better place!
Birria was good, the tamales, chilli relleno, and horchata were ok. Service was great. Lots of seating
My first time coming here and the food was awesome and cant wait to try another dish
It was ok, I expected more seasoning on food but I am full . Will I go back yes, they say its better the 2nd time around, although the place is pretty neat .
Worse place my family and I have visited horrible attention.
Wanted to love it based on the reviews but they’re beef taco salad gave me food poisoning. Safe to say, I won’t be back.
Very friendly staff food was good
Vacationing from Ohio. Former resident of Miami, and wanted to find a real authentic Cuban restaurant. Well, this little gem was it! The restaurant is super cute, small, and clean. The service was excellent and our waitress was friendly and pleasant to speak too. I think she served as sous chef too. Our group of four ordered Ropa Vieja, Saltado steak- with Cuban Mojo, Grilled Palomilla Steak, and Chimichanga. All of which was beautifully plated with rice, beans and plantains. I wish I would have asked for the recipe for the Cuban mojo, as it as so delicious. We all enjoyed or dinner and want to return for something different.
The food is fantastic and the owner stopped by my table and took great interest in making sure I was enjoying the food.
Birria tacos were definitely a hit! Other than that, service is okay, food was cold. Tostones were burnt and the nachos didnt have much toppings.
I just had my first experience eating here, I thought it was expensive but I feel like it was money well spent. It was so insanely delicious, and the portions are worth the price. I got the wet burrito and IT. WAS. MONSTROUS. The biggest burrito Ive ever had. And the tastiest. This place deserves 5 stars. It might have to be a rare treat for me to go here, but Im okay with that. 🤤
Great, simple food, nice people, and — if you love coffee get the colado! So delicious! The only downside is that it is on a busy street (we ate outside).
Good mexican food. Very good Cuban dishes. Single toilets clean, two gender, of course.
Food and service was excellent. We had a nice conversation with the owner. PSL be on the lookout for The Blue Iguana.
Mediocre service, food, decor.Filthy menus.Beer was good.
Were here for Cinco de Mayo
Been seeing the add on social media, so decided to go and give it a try. The waitress was really nice but the food was nothing great. It was really kinda bland. I Had a couple tacos, yellow rice which tasted like it was packaged and refried beans which had no flavor and the chips and salsa, the salsa tasted like tomato sauce. I really wanted to like this place but I probably wont be back.
Great food, good atmosphere, great service. Reasonable prices and outside seating available
Just left, had the Ropa Viella, outstanding. My server was Sierra and she was awesome:)
Stopped in for breakfast and cuban coffee. It was all so good we came back 2 days later. Fresh squeezed fruit juices, an awesome menu and great food & service. Loved it.
My husband and I have been looking for good Birria tacos locally and finally found them here! Fresh crispy tortillas, brisket to die for, gooey cheese, and the consomé had just the right amount of tang, citrus, and onion. We will definitely be coming back and encourage everyone reading this to do the same!
Its a Applebees. Just good enough to eat when hungry.
Simple but nice place and excellent food. Very nice staff great prices
Awesome picadillo and flan!!! Super sweet staff, even the cook came to check on us!! Love it.
Food was OK. My order was simple and took entirely too long. I had a take-out order and was told 20 minutes. More than 40 minutes later still no food, and very little by way of an apology for the wait.
Delicious empanadas and tostones rellenos. Great selection of food and good price
Food and drinks were delicious!
Really cheap with the food!!Find a better mexican restaurant if you are hungry
Real authentic food, outside seating friendly service. Conveniently located
Food was ok. taco was ok . Had better but it did the job that night .
This place is truly a hidden gem in West Palm Beach. My boyfriend had the best chicken fajita of his life here (and hes had many chicken fajitas in 36 years) and I had an amazing Cuban sandwich. Great authentic food in huge portions at cheap prices. On top of everything, the entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming here again next time were in Florida!
Good waitress food was ok not impressed with the waffles or the pancakes it tastes like it had Jalapenos in it
Service and food were great.
Food was bland, poor in quality, and was too expensive for the amount given.
Comfortable place with yummy food.
The food was bland, the tortilla was bad, the steak had no seasoning, the red sauce was tomato sauce, the beans didn’t taste good, and the rice was also bad. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE
My husband and I LOVES this place. We found this place wanting to try something new, and their food is delicious!
Very Friendly and the food was very delicious 😋
Great food at reasonable prices!
It was my first time there and if I am ever back to West Palm I will visit them again. The food was really good and the service very friendly.
I came here after shopping at World thrift.I ordered the bean dip & guacamole appetizer both came with tortilla chips that they make in the kitchen.I also ordered grilled chicken rice plantains, steak rice beans plantains, fried spineless fish rice beans and plantains 10/10 Ill definitely come back when im in the area again!
Very delicious food, affordable prices, excellent service. My teenage kids loved it too.
Food is good but overpriced.
Ricky the Chef of La Cabana Latin Grill and he has been in West Palm Beach for about 5+ years cooking. I’m glad that his working here and displaying his Masterpieces. He loves to create new plates every time. The food has flavor and taste the prices are affordable. The owner is a great lady and he has great expectations for her business. Thanks guys look up the great work !!!
Excellent food an drinks waitress was a little slow on service but its one of the best placd ive eaten
Food was ok over priced service was slow
Dry pork, old rice, old plantains, and over priced!!
The food here is the best. Authentic cuban mexican food. Reasonably priced.
This was my first time there and I got tye wet burrito... It was sooooo good!!!
So goooooood
The food is ok, its better than Havanas
Seriously, one of my favorite restaurants. The best white queso dip I’ve ever tasted. My wife and I went for Valentine’s Day lunch. It was such a fun option. She got the enchiladas with queso dip and loved it. I had the breakfast burrito and Cuban sandwich because I was so indecisive, everything looked so delicious. I highly recommend both. Don’t hesitate going to try their food - just go and thank me later.
Food is delicious. Evelyn is amazing! She is the owner and goes over and beyond for her customers especially the regulars.
Great little place, dine in or get it to go from the take-out window. Never disappoints.
The best food ever!!! Excellent service I love it
It was absolutely one of the best meals i ate and the customer service was amazing. They accommodate to my allergies i will definitely come back...my favorite restaurant
Pargo Frito with tostones was amazing and fresh! Service was great! Cafe con leche and sopapillas for dessert was a treat as well.
Great food! Friendly service! Comfortable and clean. My new favorite restaurant. Been back for breakfast several times and dinner. Stands out among the competition on Dixie Hwy. Check it out!
Always Delicious and Quick!
