Back story, on Wednesday we were scheduled to pickup a rental trailer for a camping trip. We were leaving Thursday morning for a six hour ride to our camp site.Monday morning of the same week, our 2016 Honda Pilot has a check engine light on with an emission system failure message. We make an appointment at balise for Tuesday morning to have the vehicle looked at. We get notified that the vehicle will need parts replaced under a Honda extended warranty and parts might be in by Wednesday morning, allowing the vehicle to be ready by latest Wednesday afternoon. During each phase of the process, our service advisor, Colleen kept us informed and understood the urgency that we faced due to our impending plans. The vehicle was finished early early Wednesday around noon and we were able to pickup our vehicle then trailer and go on our trip the following day.The professionalism and quick service provided by Balise, especially Colleen and technicians/mechanics, was exceptional to say the least. We have received service at Balise and our experience with their service department has always been fantastic to say the least.

Went in for a service and the woman at the service desk (Kelly employee #8516) was just so nasty from start to finish! We were promised a rental in order to get back to work but upon arrival, she stated that she didn’t have anything available, but there are ways to deal with ppl and that was not it. People really need to be better trained on how to execute appropriate customer service because her attitude was disgusting. Like you aren’t talking to stray dogs, talk to us as human beings and paying customers.

I walked in the door of this establishment, and got a flash back of a few months ago. I brought my car in for a diagnostic because my passenger window was non responsive/not go down. They reported that I needed a window regulator ( labor and parts would have been $1000ish). So I got my own off the market regulator, and that was not the issue. As it turned out- MY REGULATOR WORKED JUST FINE. I actually needed a control panel /switch control, located on the driver side. Today I walked in and all the feeling of uncertainties and misplaced confidence came flooding thru my mind. I AM GETTING ANOTHER DIAGNOSIS for a different problem, and I pray it is better that that last process.

I bought my car here in 2019 with Kim and had a pleasant experience. I recommended my friend to here and we went here together to buy his car 2 weeks ago. Miguel was awesome to work with in the sales department as was Jack in Finance. Katie in Service was also great, needed a transmission replacement and I did bring it elsewhere but they diagnosed everything that was wrong with my vehicle and did not lie to try and get money out of me like Lia Honda does.

This place is ABSOLUTELY horrendous. Abysmal even. The rep handling my vehicle shouldnt even have a job. Colleen couldnt take 5 minutes out of her day to contact me to update the status of my vehicle repairs after a week! I had to go to the service department only to find out that she had my number wrong and transposed the last two digits. How is that even possible when any other time when I provide my name and/or number they have my info on file?! How did you get my number wrong when I leave it in ever voicemail?! I felt like Ive been fed nothing but LIES. Im then told the parts for my car are coming from the plant in Ohio but why in my estimate the parts along with the order numbers are coming from New Jersey and West Springfield? At the time of my visit to find out whats going on Im then told the parts will be in the next day and that my car will be done by 3pm as if Im guaranteed this and by 330pm I still havent received a call and once again I call the service department and no one answers the damn phones and no one can tell me if my car has either been fixed, started or being worked on, or if its still sitting outside not being touched. The saddest part of all is that my insurance rep had to call ME and ask me if I had heard anything because they wouldnt return HIS calls! Even if you screw up trying to call me, whats the excuse that you couldnt call my insurance rep?! I cant make this stuff up. Oh, I almost forgot about their text messaging system that was also conveniently down after I mentioned I used that to try to contact Colleen. They didnt have any loaner vehicles either but I wasnt bothered by that initially. This whole experience was a dumpster fire raging out of control and incompetence at a grand scale and NO ONE has even apologized for the inconveniences... I take that back: Christopher, another rep there I have dealt with before is fantastic and I appreciate him, but in this instance he couldnt help me as much because Colleen was my rep and even then she couldnt even apologize for the screw ups. Stay the hell away from this place!Update: Received a call that my car was done but after receiving it I saw they didnt even replace my bumper even though they said they did. Thats deceptive and fraudulent.

I paid for a diagnosis of 137$ on my vehicle and told them I think somethings wrong with my computer and on the diagnosis paper they told me something is wrong with my computer and refused to give me the code that the diagnosis gave them. I’ve called and asked to speak to a supervisor on three different occasions and I have yet to speak to a supervisor. My advisor Katie Let me know the technician who is working on my car Jacob Lawrence is unsure of this issue as to why my car will not start. They recommended removing the remote starter to my car that will cost $175 an hour for labor that can take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours to remove and that may not fix my car and followed by that they will begin to try to fix different things on my car to get it to start that will continue to cost more money after I’ve already payed 137$ to tell me why my car will not turn on. After attempting to speak to a supervisor three times I ask for corporate number which they told me they do not have.

Well unfortunately like the recall said it would Provide Free Loaner Cars which they didnt have was a Big Letdown and then she offers us Enterprise Rental which last minute she says I need 200$ deposit for One saying itll take an Hour for a rental to get one which from that point Im Furious inside so I Left instead to Walk to do what I had to do while our Vehicle is under repair for the Airbag which I hope I dont get smacked by a faulty airbag which took approx 3hrs to repair duhhhh not surprised but Jesus christ No Loaner Car 😒😒😒😒 FOH with thier Services all Multimillion Dollar and No Quality service Loaners such a Shame..... God knows if me and my Girl woulda been Victims being hit by a Car on Riverdale Rd 😵😵😵

Now, I am not a mechanic and I would rather not have to change the oil and filter in my car. I purchased my 2015 Chevy Traverse a few years ago from Chevy Balise in Springfield. Back then they were great!My vehicle was due for an oil change. No, I did not wait til the last minute…I still had 15%. I tried to schedule an appointment with Chevy Balise in Springfield but they were booked online until June 17th. Knowing I would be busy the next few weeks and with my daughter driving it to Connecticut, I wanted to get it in sooner. The last time I needed it changed, the Balise in Springfield told me to check with one of their other Balise dealerships as they could do it and they had appointments available. Thankfully Springfield Balise was able to squeeze it in that time but this time, I figured I would schedule with another Balise if they had an earlier availability. Honda Balise on Riverdale Rd in West Springfield had a June 3rd, 9am appointment open. Actually, they had appointments every 20 minutes available every day starting June 2nd. So I booked it and my father said he would bring it in for me so I didn’t need to take the day off/go in late. I get a confirmation email on Tuesday saying the appointment is on Wednesday, June 2nd. I call and they say that it is actually for Thursday.Fast forward to today. My Dad brings my vehicle in and Christopher tells him it will be $110 for the oil change. My Dad calls me and I call this guy. He tells me since they don’t carry this oil at Honda (mind you it’s synthetic) they had to special order the filter and oil for my vehicle. So they charged me an extra $31 to change the oil in my vehicle! RIDICULOUS!!! Nowhere in their website when I made the appointment said I would be paying extra. Nowhere in the 2 confirmation emails stated I would be paying extra. The woman I spoke to on Tuesday never said I would be paying extra. No notification until someone shows up!!??? I am extremely upset. I notified Christopher that this was ridiculous since nothing was said previous to showing up. He basically said ‘that is the policy’. He didn’t care.Well, Balise, you probably don’t care but from here on out, you have lost my family’s business.**updateIt would have cost me $131.64 but they gave me a ‘customer service discount’ for $20Highway robbery!!

Very disappointed. Website showed lots of vehicles that I was interested in. Scheduled a test drive, but then got there and they didnt have what I was looking for. Told me the website showed inventory for three dealerships, with no way for the customer to know that, or know which vehicles are local. That is NOT how you treat your customers. Wasted a lot of time.

I have been leasing from balise Honda for over 20 years. I’ve always been pleased and satisfied with each new Honda Civic I’ve driven off the lot with. My lastest 2021 Honda Civic hatchback I received on memorial day. Even though it was a holiday… everything went fine. I also want to mention my wonderful salesperson. His name is Juan Cruzado. I went in to see him about a week before my lease was up and told him exactly what I wanted. He did not have the vehicle on the lot, but he searched and found my car in Rhode Island. And at my request, I did not want the car driven from Rhode Island. So he made sure it was delivered on a truck without any extra miles. He was very professional and accommodating. Since this is my 9th or 10th lease, I know the ropes. And he worked with me wonderfully. In 3 years I will be getting another lease. I look forward to request working with Juan Cruzado again. Following some research, I was sure I wanted either a Honda Pilot or a Chevy Traverse. I visited several dealerships and drove cars by other manufacturers, during which time I had the pleasure of working with Juan Cruzado at Balise Honda.Juan took time to work with me, and after really listening to my needs, he introduced me to the Honda Passport. I test drove 2 trim levels of the pilot before considering that the passport might really be what I was looking for. So he drove it off the showroom floor for me to take for a spin! I was at the dealership more than an hour and a half, I communicated to Juan that I was very early on in my search & while I liked the car I was not ready to discuss numbers. All that time there was basically me asking a million questions. Pulling the Pilot up next to the Passport in the lot. And then next to my current car. I was the only one putting any pressure on myself! He provided the printouts of the different trim levels as well as accessories so that I could review on my own time. I spent nearly 2 weeks reviewing my personal options, including communicating with several other dealerships. During that time Juan phoned me twice to touch base, offering to answer any questions. Finally ready to move forward, I emailed him Friday night to set up an appointment to buy the car on the following day. I received an email from the dealership before they opened and scheduled myself for that afternoon.I chose to purchase my new car at Balise Honda because I liked working with Juan. He understood what I was saying, listened to my needs and worked at my pace. At no point did I feel pressured to make any decisions.The document fee was reasonable here & besides the glass tint, already added to the car (prior to purchase), there were no extra costs. The purchase process took a bit longer than I thought it would, but everything else was as expected & I even received a great price & the best advertised financing!I received a fair price on my trade, & they paid off the loan for me. There were no surprises and my car was delivered on schedule. Inspection complete. New plates complete. Registered and clean. And 2 months of free car washes to keep it clean! We set up my new Honda Passport together and after completing remaining paperwork (primarily regarding my trade in) I drove my perfect car off the lot and into the sunset! Ok, it was only 5pm, but it was still a great feeling! Big thanks to Balise Honda for making my car purchase easy and stress free!

Bought a used 2004 Honda Civic at Balise Honda last Summer. So excited that the 36-Month Maintenance is included with the purchased car. Just brought the car in for a regular oil change a few weeks ago and it turned out that the brake lines were leaking badly and the repair costed me about $850.00 (of course Balise Honda stated that the brake lines are not under warranty). When I got home and I checked the invoice, Balise Honda also charged me for oil change, about $59.00! Have tried to text the advisor to ask her about it but have not heard from her...When I called to schedule the appointment for oil change and when I dropped off the car with the advisor, I did mention to them about the 36-Month Maintenance that includes with the car and (even showed the document that I have to the advisor) to make sure they know - They both said, yes, yes, it is in the system with this car.So why did Balise Honda charge me for a routine oil change when my car has the 36-Month Maintenance Package that includes?The advisor at Balise Honda Service has reached out to me to inform that the charge for oil change will be reimbursed to me as I was charged by a mistake..............

I am a single mother on a fixed income and have kids with server asthma. I need a reliable vehicle! Balise does not want to comply with their 90-day warranty. I brought the car in multiple times (3x) and each time I get it back is worse than before and 150+ miles tacked on each time. The mechanic Chris broke pieces to my car in multiple times!!!!!also Im being told that I am hearing things and what did I expect when the car isnt brand new from a manager. I paid out a pocket to get the car checked out and its going to cost me over $2,000 in repairs. Mind you I purchased the vehicle December 3rd 2020 and havent had it in my possession for 11 days. They dont sanitize the cars and they leave registrations from previous owners in the car. They dont care about you and the salesman Miguel made it seem like they would fix everything, thats the only reason why I agree to purchase the vehicle. They act like Im disturbing them when I call to get some type of help Katie from service only rolls her eyes, scoffs, speaks to you in a condensending tone. Spoke to a manager and they also laugh in the background and tell you its your fault.This is the biggest mistake Ive ever made please dont buy a car I promise you will regret it. Im giving you the warning nobody gave me. So far had the car for 10 days and Im looking at replacing the starter alternator front and back struts, and front and back brakes also rear passenger wheel bearing and heater making strange noises and they take days to contact me.

Best experience I’ve had buying a car. I bought my Pilot here 2 years ago - when I picked the car up it was detailed immaculately, had a full tank of gas and received a month of car washes. I still bring it there to be serviced. Everyone is always friendly and helpful.

A little disappointed the 90-day payment free option was apparently “over” even though there was a bulletin across the street from the dealership and saw a TV ad the same week of purchase. I bought a certified pre-owned Accord from this dealership. Soon after purchase I noticed some electronic issues with the display screen. The screen would turn off and back on periodically while driving. With the problem persisting, I decided to bring it to another certified Honda dealership where I moved to soon after the purchase, Mile High Honda in Denver, CO. They brought the vehicle in and took apart the display screen. They told me there was an aftermarket part installed that was causing the issue. They claim to not know what the part is, but informed me that it voided the warranty, and that I will have to pay full price for the repair (~$1300!!). This said, my vehicle should still be under factory warranty. I contacted Balise Honda and informed them of the issue. They told me they cant do anything for me, even though they sold me a Certified pre-owned Honda with aftermarket parts, therefore voiding the warranty and and the Certified pre-owned part of the deal. This was a shady deal by a shady business and should be investigated. Moreover, they should have immediately taken responsibility for their dishonest sale and paid for the repair. Please beware of shady deals by this dealership, and do not trust that these are certified pre-owned vehicles.

Today my husband and I went to Balise Honda with the intention to trade our car in and get a newer car. Firstly as we entered noone greeted us. We walked around the show room for 40 mins . No one approached us or asked us if we needed help. I gave the sales associates who were standing there multiple eye contact hoping to get help. They looked is our direction. No help. Multiple sales associate walked pass us and offered no assistants. A white couple walked in after us and immediately got asistance. Now am really wondering if its because my husband and i are african American as to why we got the treatment we did or is this poor customer service. After all we were the only black people in there and my fellow Caucasian, Asian buyers we being helped. While the available sales team stood there.🤔🤔🤔

CONSISTENTLY tries to make us buy services that we don’t need for our car. We bought it brand new in 2017. Every time we bring it in for an oil change or any other service they try to say we need something else. We do really well with keeping up with our maintenance. The reason why I know that they are just trying to up-sell us is because we put brand new brakes on our car, brought it in for an oil change 3 weeks later and they tried saying we need new brakes even though they were brand new and we didn’t have a light on for it. Then they told us today that we need a new battery. Our car is a year and a half old, has never been in an accident, only has 15,000 miles on it, and we have never left the lights on overnight or anything and it starts perfectly. It is used daily as well. There is no way in hell a car like that should need a new battery yet! I would say okay if the car was 3 years old or older but it’s not! We brought it to another shop to have them look at it and they said that it definitely doesn’t need a new battery and we’re right. Just take my money and do what I ask, stop trying to tack things on.

In all honesty, I do not like dealerships because of the stress and urgency that gets placed upon you to buy a vehicle immediately. Terrible customer service. Called and made an appointment for a state inspection. Arrive 10 minutes early and sign paperwork. Wait patiently for 2 hours, then inquire about my car. I am told they dont make inspection appointments and there is a 3 hour wait, but my car can be inspected next. Lucky me! Apparently Balise thinks my time is valueless. If anyone at any point had informed me of the wait, I would have rescheduled.

I went to Honda for an oil change and tire rotation. I marked my tires because the Last time I went for this service they never rotated the tires. Again they said my car was all set and I check the tires and again they never rotated the tires. I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to do it. So if you go and get this service mark your tires or they probably aren’t doing it. Not very happy and probably will go elsewhere.

I absolutely love Honda’s and when I went looking at a possible new car, I knew to ask for Hilary because someone had mentioned her to me. Hilary is such an easy going and knowledgeable sales person who takes the time to tell you all about the car and doesn’t pressure. I didn’t know exactly what Honda I wanted yet, but she took the time to show me different models and features. When I am ready I will most definitely be purchasing my car from her.

Make sure you mark your tires so you know if they rotate them or not. I paid $75 for a oil change?? You cant pay anything less at this location! This oil change includes tire rotation and tire pressure adjustment, not to mention fluid top off and brake and other vehicle inspections. Besides the oil change and electronic diagnostics of brakes and tire life  nothing else was done physically that equates to $75 dollars worth of work. If its included then do everything, if not give a discount balise....

Terrible experience!! I just started the car buying process for the first time after buying used/hand-me-down cars for the last 6 years - went to various car dealerships in West Side to test drive to see what size car I like, model, make, etc. Stopped at Honda first as it was closest in proximity and got hooked up with Mary. Nice at first, but once she realized that I wasnt actually purchasing a car that day, she wanted nothing to do with me. Going as far as to say they were very busy today, and I wasnt able to test drive more than one car.... Was very rude to me and my parents when we asked any questions and wouldnt answer anything regarding what my possible monthly payment could even look like. Jokes on her - we went to Subaru next and less than a week later Im purchasing from them. Thanks for driving me away and into my new dream car!

We had a great experience at Balise Honda. The salesman was helpful and offered us many options to test drive, which does not happen all the time when car shopping. When negotiating, we were able to speak with the manager directly and have questions answered immediately. The team was upfront with prices and rebates, etc.We did have a wait with our two children at lunch time. Our sales person consistently returned to us asking if we or the kids needed anything! This was so kind and helped us manage hunger and boredom!Great experience all around!

Buying from Balise Honda is really easy and they will do almost anything to get you into a car. The problem begins after the sale. We have brought multiple Hondas here having problems with the service department often. Most recently, I brought my 2016 Honda Accord with 37,000 miles in because the LED lights on the passenger side headlights only extend halfway through the headlight. I scheduled an appointment figuring this would be a simple warranty. I was initially told that I was out of luck because this light was only covered under the 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty. I said I would give Honda Corporate a call to get it worked out and repair it myself otherwise. As I was getting into my vehicle to leave, I was informed that Honda had extended the warranty to 10 years, no mileage limitation. I was happy that it would not come out of my pocket and the Service Adviser called the parts department and had the part ordered. This was Friday. He said the headlight should be in no later than Tuesday and would receive a call to schedule an appointment. Tuesday comes and goes and no call. I call on Wednesday afternoon and I am told the part isnt in stock. The Service Adviser was out of the office. Im told I should receive a call on Thursday. I call on Thursday and the Service Adviser is again out of the office and no one can tell me the status of the request I made almost a week ago. I ask to speak with any Service Adviser but CSR says he will send an email. I wanted have this repaired prior to my 8 hours of driving this weekend and I still cant find out if they have the part. Very, very frustrated!! I will update with how this gets resolved as soon as I can.Update: I called Oscar, who had helped me out a servicing issue before, and he promptly returned my call and informed that they did, in fact have the headlight. He scheduled me to bring it in the same day and have it corrected. Oscar, really seems on the ball. Wish I didnt have to jump through hoops and have a frustrating experience to start.

Before i came to Balise Honda, i was somewhat questionable in regards to me being approved for an auto loan. But the sales man Andy has given me some great information and helped me out. We were looking for a car for our daughter.Our salesman was Wayne Tait. He was very helpful and let us take our time. Once we decided to purchase the car, we met Andrew in the Finance department. He went over options that were available to us with no pressure. My daughter had not seen the car and when we went back Hilary ( Wayne wasnt in) took the time to go through the entire car with her. Christopher George went over and beyond the call of duty for me this evening. it was 5:30 on a Friday night they were closing the shop and he found a rental car for me which took a good deal of time and arrange for me to get work done on Saturday. he was a great help to me and a great asset to balise Honda I cant believe what a wonderful guy and a good service manager she truly is. He coordinated with another woman service manager who helped out in finding the rental car I couldnt be more place especially on a Friday night at 5:30. Ill never buy a car from another dealership thank you so much.

I was extremely disappointed with the service department, I went there with a check engine light on, I was charged around $126 to check what’s wrong, they recommended I buy a part and they removed the light as soon as I drove out, the code error reappeared on my dash board so I drove right back. I was surprised when they told me to go and call for an appointment despite the fact that I was already there. When I took it in they wanted more $200 to do other tests, it didn’t make sense to me

I went in with a problem and they were ready with a solution. I walked in with the expectation I was going to talk to someone whos best interest is themselves, their sales, and the money. Somehow, Balise Honda has found a way to do honest business with the customer in mind. Maybe I didnt like everything about my car, but I loved everything about the service I received here. Honest service and good people. From the receptionist, to the the shuttle operator, and the employee I didnt speak to, but that still greeted me with a smile, all the best Ive ever had.

Went in today to change a flat. All state told me that I can go anywhere to change my tire. Went to balise told the guy behind the desk about the tire and I just wanted to check the status of my tire and if its covered through all state. They told me that its covered and their putting the new tire on. Then the guy tells me that I need all 4 tires since I might not pass inspection. Had to get all four replaced because the guy at the desk told me I needed to. Asked him how much it would be and he said under 400 because the one tire that needed replacement was covered by all state. Then 2 hours later my car is done and the guy behind the desk told me that now that I got new tires it is recommended to do an alignment. So none of this couldve been said before the new tires were put on?Guy says its only 80 dollars. This guy apparently doesnt know my situation plus my bill came out to over 400. I will never do any maintenance work at their dealerships. Its really a waste of time and money.
