They hide potential problems well. 30 day warranty is a joke. Good luck getting them to respond back especially if you live far away from them.

Shopping for a used RV and came across a listing at Narragansett Auto Sales for a 2003 31 Class C with only 25k miles and loaded with ALL of the extra options. The 69 (yes 69) photos showed this RV to be in excellent condition inside and outside; not a common find in the used RV market! I called dealer representative Allen with inquiry into the accuracy of the photos and description of condition. I was assured the information was accurate and decided to take a drive from my home in NH to RI to find out for myself. I am thrilled to report Allen was correct. The camper is in excellent condition, inside and out, right down to 4 brand new tires, super clean engine, low mileage, clean CarFax report, and a new inspection sticker. Put a down payment on it immediately and brought my husband back a few days later to pick up our new/used RV. We told Allen we wanted to move the sale quickly and get on our way. Allen complied and within 2 hours the hassle free sale was complete. We drove our RV 200 miles to its new home in Maine finding the drive to be pleasant and completely problem free. The RV is parked and EVERYTHING (and this baby is loaded with options) checks out working 100% perfectly. I rarely provide online reviews for anything other than dining experiences BUT I am so very pleased I paid NO attention to the questionable reviews listed here, took Allen at his word, and made the long drive to see this RV! I feel felt it was only fair to add our extremely positive review of our purchase and experience. Note to the wise: do not expect something for nothing, understand *used* means just that, and give this place a try! THANK YOU ALLEN and THANK YOU NARRAGANSETT AUTO SALES!

How about a review from someone who actually did business with them? Did everything go perfectly? No. Is the vehicle perfect? Nope. When buying a used vehicle you have to have a little due diligence and look it over and determine for yourself if it is the right vehicle at the right price. Allen and his team were upfront about known issues with the vehicle. I found things that they wouldnt have unless they spent a week in the road with it, but that is what happens when you buy used. There were a couple of issues, but Allen is a man of his word and he took very good care of me. He is a busy guy and doesnt have time to waste on tire kickers and low ballers. I absolutely would go back to him in the future. Thank you again Allen.

I bought a 2008 Toyota Rav4 from this place, after 2 weeks the AC got clogged and started leaking into the inside of my car. The bumper also popped out slightly And we did not notice it until later, my mother and I bought it back to the guy Allen and he said he did not sell it to me like that and then started accusing me of hitting something and wouldn’t fix it. I would have known if I hit something. Shady place, save your money and go to a better dealer. He also did not change the oil on the car like he said he was going to. I took the car back to him for the AC and he did fix that free of charge. Awhile after that my battery died and I had to replace it myself. Doing that I found out I had very low oil. Do not trust this guy.

My friend is looking for a car. He loved one they had. Then he read reviews for this place. Not nice, who sells a SUV to s pregnant lady with twins the lady hit home and the SUV was done. They hang up on her. I havent been there. But the reviews speak for themselves

I bought a truck and and asked for the Rhode Island safety info. this fwas never provided. It turned out there was an issue and I couldnt get a sticker with out repair. They said they would mail a check but so far havent. Keep saying they will do it. Sound familiar??

If youre reading this please do me a favor as well as yourself and look else where. Me and my wife bought an RV here and we were told it was good to go. We checked it over and everything seemed great. After a few hundred miles our fuel pump goes in North Carolina. My wife calls to talk to him and without her saying anything he goes, Oh is it a fuel problem? Then hung up on her. Its been a couple of weeks without hearing back from him regardless of our messages to call us back. We had to spend a week in North Carolina waiting for parts. Please find somewhere else to go.

Buyers be aware of this shady crook. Look at his reviews. A family member just bought a truck off him that was patched to sell. 1st 3wks of ownership has been breakdowns and still cant drive it cause now its on its way to dealership to have everything documented with the patch safety issues. Vehicle wont pass inspection, oil filter housing leaking cause the ear of the engine block broke off. So they just jb welded it and sent down the road to sell it. Call this clown back and he says as is. Not when u pay thousands of dollars for it. This is a lemon. Becareful

So I inquired about a vehicle on their website and received an email back asking me to call. I called and was rudely told that their web forms don’t work, he didn’t even know I was emailed that his “web guy” must’ve done it, and unless I have a credit score of 700 or more, not to bother. Excellent way to deter a potential customer from buying from you. All set, I’ll go to a REAL dealer instead. ;-)

Found a vehicle on Auto Trader that they had for sale. Called and put a deposit on the car by phone. When we went to look at the car on the day we agreed to - the car wasnt there. Charge was supposed to be reversed. Nothing yet. Probably should have looked up the Google and Facebook reviews about this place before engaging. Yikes.

I will never buy a Vehicle from them again they told me they will fix what needed to be done and I left the car there picked it up still the same Condition as before had to bring the car back like 3 times and still having the same issues. Not very happy with the service at all I will not recommend my friends or family members never to buy a vehicle from there or anyone else. They are ripoffs

Rich the owner i believe is his name is was a very nice pleasant man but his salesman Albert when not in the owners presence became rude, inpatient, and actually said Ya dont like it then leave He was like a Bi polar nutjob. I dont know how this 52 Goofy nerd still has all his teeth?? I have bought over 25 vehicles in my life and never seen or been treated anything like this! Rich this So called salesman is costing you much $$$, Business and your Reputation!!!

Rudest man I have EVER met. Dont waste your time. He will not negotiate, listen to any of your questions, but he will speak to you like your an idiot.. I wasted time looking at a camper here. There was staining on the floor they tried hiding under a decorative rug. And they strip everything out of them so that the can over charge and you still have to replace all accessories. I will not be returning due to poor standards and rude owners.

I bought a car about 2 months ago. It was in great shape and for a steal of a price. Highly recommend going to Allen and will deffinetly be back for my next car.

Went there to look at an rv. made an offer the guy wouldnt even make eye contact, just said no.. lol happy to say brought a newer motorhome from a Real rv dealer with a warranty.

Recently bought a truck from them. In person the dealer is friendly other than that communication is terrible! My truck started leaking power steering fluid a few days after I purchased it and they didnt honor their warranty! I called 10 times and had no response. I eventually drove there and their mechanic said he ordered the part to fix it. Called again many times and never heard back from them. I was able to fix it myself but Im very unhappy with this dealership. Stay away

I was very interested in purchasing a vehicle here (2015) and, while on the test drive, the vehicle was sold to someone else. Im in the market for an additional vehicle now and will not waste my time here.

Terribly rude. Allan hung up on me when I asked him to verify the price of a vehicle. On call back he refused to email me the true price.A real slack jawed troglodyte.

Emailed dealer and called. Requested pics of the undercarriage of the vehicle before driving up, Pics were promised but not sent. I called later that week again and talked to Allan who promised me the vehicle was in really good shape. Drove over an hour to the dealer to find the underneath had major rust on the frame and undercarriage, leaking exhaust system, power steering pump was screaming the the vehicle had cigarettes burn holes in the the head liner and an unbearable odor of stale cigarettes . Asked very specific questions and was blatantly lied too and deceived. Wasted 1/2 a day of my life I can’t get back from this dealer.

I made the hour drive to look at an RV that was described as in good shape without odors, leaks etc. As I was looking for an older used unit I was completely well aware that most of these RVs would not be in perfect shape. However, when I arrived and was shown the unit I could have been knocked out by the strong stench of mold permeating from inside the RV before even stepping foot inside. Because I had driven so far, I decided to look inside anyway. Knowing damn well that there was severe water damage, I still asked the salesman if there was any known water damage. He lied to my face and said No. At that time I asked if I could look at the unit alone and he hesitantly obliged. I went to pull down the sleeper sofa and literally put my finger through the wall it was so soft. At that point I went back over to the office just as a courtesy to tell him I wasnt interested and told him just to be clear that there was significant water damage. He copped a major attitude and told me Yeah well its Old 10 minutes before he was lying to my face when he most likely thought I was some girl who knew nothing about RVs. To sum this up, I am really not trying to bash anyone but rather to shed some light on this issue of poor customer service that seems to be more common these days. Its just not right or kind to lie to people and to be rude for no reason. You will be more successful and more well respected if you are honest and nice, not only in business but in all aspects of life.

Unbelievable ! Its a bit late now but my wife needed a car and saw a jeep she liked at this place, first off the salesman Allen was extremely rude, I wanted her to leave but she really liked the car and we were cash buyers ! Turns out we never checked the carfax ..and thats on us, I admit that now however this guy is a total and complete liar and dishonest ! We looked at the carfax and an odometer problem was found twice stating true mileage unknown ! He never was honest and told us that, he should have because the car could be unsafe and maintaining it is an issue because we dont know the true mileage, just terrible to do business like that, stay far far away from this guy, he says he only gets his cars from tasca etc etc but the cars come from all over just look at the carfax before you buy ! Tasca may get it but unloads it quickly to a scam artist like this guy ...just very very upset that he lied to my wife while I was working, she bought a car with a tampered odometer and of course he knew that, they read the carfax on all of them..stay away and dont buy a car from this guy, we are looking into what to do now because that is a crime and its fraud illegal to not make a buyer aware of odometer tampering ..typical scumbag car salesman

If i could give zero stars i would. I would not recommend this place to anyone we bought an rv that broke down after driving it not even 1000 miles. When i called allen the man who sold me the rv he already new the problem before i even fully told him what the problem was...and then he hung up on me. These people are rude and dont care about you or the condition of the vehicle they are selling you if you have a family this is the last place you want to purchase a vehicle.

Used car sales need I say more.... They just turn off the check engine light and hope it doesnt cycle again until your gone. I found fuel lines rotted through and seeping gas... Bull warranty states they they will cover half of labor and half of parts THEY MUST DO WORK COME ON I DONT WANT TO PAY FOR HALF ASS WORK... AND JUST SO THEY CAN DOUBLE PRICE AND CALL FULL PRICE HALF WHAT A GREAT warranty you offer. Be careful what you buy. As usual used care salesmen are scammers. Thats why you had to wait for your plates😁 had to do full time up, two broken bolts in exhaust manifolds, new shocks big money, needed u joints, rear end plugs rotted and low on fluid, needed wipers,

I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially people with kids.I came to narragansett suto sales looking for a big suv because i have a 6 year old and 2 year old and pregnant with twins and i needed a suv that gives me more room for the kids. I had bought a suv from this place and the owner told me that he did all the work on the car and put a brand new battery in the suv and that their is no problems with the suv, so i took his word cause he seem like a nice professional honest guy, but not even 24 hours of having the suv, the battery died on me and when i called the owner, he said there is no way its the battery but to come on in and hell take a look at it so I brought it in that day and he told me that the battery was no good but he told me when I bought the car he put a brand new battery in it so it doesnt make sense then after putting a new battery in it he had the nerve to tell me he doesnt have to put a new battery in it it was a courtesy to me. I also noticed that there was a leak under my car and then he told me that there was no leak. So now Ive had the car for 3 days and my transmission has blown out and when I call the guy about the transmission he told me that basically theres nothing he can do about it and then hung up on me. This guy lies about fixing up the cars he just clears the codes and sells it as it is and when you buy the car off him he doesnt even let you get a warranty. Is guy is the complete definition of a con artist and a scam artist. How dare he tell me that he worked on the car and there is nothing wrong with it and how he put all brand new parts in it and it was a safe car for my children and not even a full week having the car and Ive had to have a new battery put in it and now I have to have a new transmission put in it. I would a thousand percent not recommend this place to anyone for a car.

Called about an rv... was told to hang up and call Alan who whats about as customer service friendly/focused as a dead fish...apparently they dont take campers or cars in trade ????? Yet they sell both.... save ur time and money wasting it on a d list establishment such as this . Beware. This dealership does not keep their word. I spoke to Alan about a vehicle and agreed to pay him the asking price. he promised that the vehicle was mine and that he would remove it from the Ebay auction. He never did so. Instead he sold it to another party. The key here is that we had an agreement and he did not keep it.

Bought camper in May of 2018. As of September 2018, I still dont have a title. The reason for no title keeps changing. They sold me a camper that they technically didnt own. I cant legally use it or sell it.

Horrible place I found a car there when I went to pick it up I took it for another ride it has a cracked sway bar and they refused to fix it. They do not even deserve 1 star. Someone could get killed driving it and they do not car. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!
