New places always seem great. I go for lunch, usually a decent selection. Good isok. Prices are good.

First time at this location. Had a great sandwich and some cupcakes for dinner. Was fantastic. Was also happy to see the American flag, Maine flag, and all 5 military flags along the front end. Thats cool.You folks are alright!

I am so happy that we are finally getting more Market Baskets in Maine! I live about 30 min away from this location but happily make the trip to do the bulk of my groceries. I find this location to be very clean and well organized, and they have products I can’t find anyplace else. Also, their prices are very competitive and many items here are less expensive than the same item at Hannaford or Shaw’s. Their store brand, for most items, is also a good value and good quality as well. So far, every employee I’ve dealt with has been helpful and pleasant.Now we just need to get them to keep coming North!

No empty shelves here. Most everything you need is here. Having trouble finding suet for the birds? Even that is well stocked here. PS.. Captain Morgan big jug is often $5.00 off!

I cant say enough good things about this store. Pricing is very competitive, service staff is friendly, store very clean and check out fast and efficient.

Third or fourth time here and while I was a happy customer the first few times, today was (at least a temporary) deal breaker for me. Despite an ample number of checkouts being open, and what appeared to be a very well staffed store, the line situation was absolutely chaotic. Two big lines going out into the aisles, and no clear direction on which line went to which register. It seemed like there was no choice but to wait in a long and crowded line for a long time, only to get to a part of the line where you either do an awkward dance or argue with other customers over who is going to which register. I turned around and headed to Hannaford.I hope they get this straightened out with, for example, longer and clearer line barriers. Plenty of extra space at the front end to do this. I personally love self checkout because it tends to have smaller lines, yet if I remember correctly, Market Basket tends to be staunchly traditional with staffed checkouts.On the plus side, the store is super clean, lots of polite associates around to help, and lots of selection.I hope to shop here again, once the line situation is sorted out, and revise this review accordingly.

Lots of great food, pleasant people and over all a great place to shop

They have groceries that other stores dont carry and they have a wider variety of items. The bakery is amazing! They make their own butter cream frosting and its out of this world!!!!!!!

Deep inventory and large selection, lots of space so you dont feel crowded, and easy to get in/out of.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SUPERMARKET!!Great employees, friendly, courteous and very customer service oriented. Go early on a Sunday, before church lets out and it wont be terribly busy.The ladies working in the Deli Dept are so nice, they are always smiling and nice to chat with... even when that dept is busy... glad they are finally here in Maine 😄

Always have liked it but, today the bagger verbally groaned when I asked for paper, said I hate these things and then preceded to put chips on the bottom and heavier items on top... I could bag my own faster, more efficiently and without the poor attitude

Market basket has incredible prices and amazing selection of foods & cleaning products. Can be a bit busy at times but the staff is very helpful.

They had plenty of staff on hand to help all the customers.. The shelves were stocked to the brim. They had a lot of good deals during their grand opening. Lots of items we dont see another grocery stores.

A bit disappointed with my deli experience! I ordered deli meat and the store brand American cheese. There was something terribly wrong with the cheese. The taste was rancid and overpowering. It left my throat burning and the taste was rancid! Ironically, I did overhear a deli clerk conveying to the other deli clerk his frustration over labels being incorrectly placed on several of their products. Sadly, I think it will be a while before I return back to this store.

I love this store! Absolutely love it, but for the love of God will someone please train the baggers on how to bag groceries. I just got home from getting my groceries for the week. Today I actually asked the bagger to stop bagging my stuff. Normally I rebag everything at my car as I put it in. Mainly because they fill the bags so full I cant lift them out of my cart to get them in my car. Today the poor kid put almost everything I bought into 1 bag. I watched as he struggled to pick the bag up to sit it in my cart. After 2 attempts without success he tried again and I finally asked him to please just stop. I always take about 20 bags in with me so I cant figure out why they feel the need to put a weeks worth of groceries into 1 or 2 bags. Other than that this store rocks!

This Market Basket may be slightly smaller than Biddeford, but they have all the selection, great prices, friendly,helpful associates and clean comfortableisles! The fresh deli options, fried chicken, sushi,subs,salads, and the bakery is exactly what you need! Get in there and grab an espresso shake on the way out!!

Its Market Basket... Plain and simple. They have everything you could ever need and they have things you didnt know you needed. The only thing the place is missing is a movie theater attached to it that may also include a bowling alley and arcade, but all jokes aside from that I love the Market Basket. The staff are always friendly and very helpful, they do a great job!

Only my second trip in and I wont go back. SOME, but not all, of the employees dont have a clue how to provide decent customer service. And the produce was awful. I left my cart with the manager, after explaining to him what I had just experienced, and walked out. I will drive the extra miles to go to the Market Basket in Biddeford(where Ive ALWAYS had great service)if I really feel that I need to go to a Market Basket. Very disappointed in Westbrook.

Market Basket in westbrook Maine is brand new and beautiful. They have a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats and fresh seafood, a wonderful bakery, and a good selection of made to order foods to takeout. There include sushi, pizza, subs, salads,wings and various other treats all with reasonable pricing. The employees are very helpful, curious and mostly cheerful. I highly recommend this store!

Oh my gosh, this place was mobbed! I think it was probably the impending storm. As busy as it was, our cashier was very pleasant. I did not see anyone counting customers, unfortunately. This was my first time in a Market Basket. It was too crowded to safely roam the aisles, but I what I did see was great. The cheese dept had more than just basics.. Found the farmers cheese I needed! I will try again at a less busy time to explore the store.

I love the fact that the people that work there are always polite and friendly. I also like the fact that the shelves are always well stocked.

My market of choice for over 50 years. So glad theyve come to Maine. Still a two hour round trip for us but gives us a reason to go to Ptown. Next time youre shopping at H or S take the time to notate the prices for the items on your shopping list. Then another time do the same with the same list at MB and you will not believe the savings MB offers. Without exaggerating almost every item will be close to a dollar less at MB. Im sure theyre still making a good profit(well, duh) but they are definitely customer friendly. Try them. Bet youll convert.

I really like this store. Its very clean, well- stocked, and has really wide aisles. The only reason that I knocked off a star is that over a month ago the store manager and a department head both promised my wife that they would stock a particular Goya product, but they have not done so.

It’s great. I mean, for a grocery store anyway. Since it’s new and cool in the area it’s usually pretty busy, which is annoying if you’re like me and want to peruse and see what’s actually different from a Hannaford or Shaw’s. Killer craft beer selection compared to other grocers. One of these days I’ll check out the coffee counter and the hot food, it always looks and smells great. I’ll be excited to go when things are more “normal” and I can drink the coffee while I look at all the stuff and then sit and eat my freshly made hot food.

Love your store. So happy to have one in Westbrook Maine.

Doesnt matter what time of day or night I go the shelves in every isle are always full of product and are faced. Store is neat and clean. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Now they just need to add curbside pickup.

Used to stop in here almost everyday, good selection and friendly people working. Came in on my bike one day right after they opened and I had my backpack on, and I had to use the restroom really bad. The cashier offered to watch my bag so I wouldnt have to worry about it; I always have these types of experiances here with the employees going out of there way to make my life easier...i appreciate everyone here from the cart boy to the managment.

Lots of items at good prices. Clean well stocked grocery store. They offer pizza, Chinese and freshly made sandwiches to go.

Nice selection. Some items higher and some lower than my grocery store. This store is smaller than the store near Biddeford. Thats an advantage for me.

You have to know item prices when shopping. Some are less expensive at Hannaford.

Great new store to our area! It has great prices; same, if not better than its competitors, a delicious bakery & hot food station where you can order anything from pizza to Chinese food! Not 1 complaint have I had in the handfuls of times I have come here. This is my families new grocery store!
