Always loved Home Depot. Convenient online ordering for in store locker pickup is awesome.One knock of a star for the change in return policy. No more store credit without receipt means exchanging an item that was broken when you purchased it requires extra steps to get resolved... Buy a new one today, actually keep your receipt this time, and return the broken one tomorrow. Avoid having to do this by using a card if you can. They can pull up your purchase from before.

One of the most convenient, clean, and well-stocked Home Depots on the island! I love their covered parking area for loading and unloading; it fits about 4 vehicles (although sometimes people park there when not necessary), and as stated its covered which is great for loading sheetrock, etc in the rain or scorching heat. Very friendly employees in this store, a lot of (albeit mostly self-checkout) registers so theres rarely a line, and great parking - all in a convenient location!

Ken in gardening department was extremely helpful with my lawn, he had a lot of great knowledge he was very friendly and overall exceptional experience. Great employee thank you for helping me!

Home Depot is full of workers that do not enjoy helping. Lets be honest how many times have you asked a worker for help and they tell you its not their dept? Well they all should float so they can help whomever needs it, or as a worker if its not your dept get the hell out of that area. Dont you realize a customer may ask you for help? If you dont want to help the customers that are driving the stores economy why are you there.

Find the right person there and they can help you a lot you just have to find that right person very knowledgeable I know a couple good guys there who help me out a lot. Steve, Mike P, by Italian friend but youre really Italian name that I just cant think of right now

Good 👍 clean store helpful staff,was able to get quick service for copies of 🔑 keys. I highly suggest down loading there app and set your app to allow location verification so when shopping at different Home depot stores will let you know exact store with stocked items and location of items within the store .. I recommend this store to others 👌 👍

Went to several other home Depots and Lowes and paint stores to get a color match and wasnt able to at all. But thanks to the help of James t and Alvin in paint they were able to help me get a pretty close color for my bike. Well worth it. Ty

Went in for two things.. waited 15 minutes AFTER they called someone to have a key cut. I get it, pandemic has caused everyone everywhere to be short staffed while corporate America takes in the $$ because no matter how many employees get cut, people are always gonna need stuff. Still aggravating.

Not as clean as it use to be! Nothing has the correct price. Well I exaggerate a bit. But most shelves are empty and items are out of place, so the price is basically unknown till u get to the register. No staff on the floor to help. Disappointed with todays service. Not normal for other home depot.

Alex in the contractor pick-up/check out area deserves a raise. I lost my wallet between the moment I paid and got to the car. I had not noticed it was lost until I was at another location. After rushing around and retracing my steps I found Alex who had picked up the wallet and placed it in the lost and found within 15 min of me losing it. I offered him a tip several times but he declined. Alex is an honest man that saved me a great deal of trouble and want him to be recognized for his integrity.

Love Home Depot. Purchasing kitchen appliances is easy, setting up delivery dates was easy and hauling our old appliances was just as easy.

This Home Depot was surprisingly helpful when it comes to their employees. Most employees from the Home Depots Ive been to tend to hide from customers. I was surprised that I was even approached by someone to ask if we needed help. As someone who tends to need help with everything when it comes to Home Depot, I was thrilled.

The worst experience at a home depot I ever had.I was pressed for time and just needed to be in and out first employee I saw upon walking in the store I tried asking where the hoses were and he was too busy on FaceTime with a friend and pointed in a direction as if I was a bother to him.When I finally found the isle with the hose I needed I came across the one helpful person in the whole place, he had the isle closed off because he was about to use the lift. When I asked if what I needed was there he kindly assisted and halted what he was doing to allow me to get what I needed.Next stop was plumbing where I was met by the Nastiest old man that seemed more interested in adjusting his gloves than helping customers I needed 2 simple things that anyone willing to listen and worked there would know and he started getting nasty with me and acted as if I was bothering him. I know nothing about plumbing ithat is why I asked for assistance.

Staff is helpful but several times now the saw has been out of order. Annoying when trying to get sheet goods cut.

Home Depot is awesome, in general. This one has a decent sized garden center, so I was able to find stuff for our landscaping. If you dont find what you need here, Lowes is four blocks away. The biggest HD around is Elmont. The store is huge and has stuff you wont find in other locations.

Just wanted to take the time to acknowledge Herold (Manager) and Ali who assisted me with finding the windows for my house. They had taken the time and check with other store who had the item in the store and hold it on the side until i got there to pick it up. Herold was extremely busy hence made sure that i was ok and happy with the service he had provided. I would highly recommend this home depot in Westbury. The employees are friendly and helpful compared to other home depot in the area. Thank you !

Good never disappoints

This Home Depot normally has what I need in stock. Most of the employees are helpful. There are some employees that shouldnt have a job.

What is not to love about a store that offers to get 99%of your needs when it comes to your home? From stove parts to installing a new kitchen, from dreaming of a new deck, you can get all the wood, Trex, paint, nails, and furniture for under a gazebo here too. And there are tools galore and more.

Inventory not as good as previously. Many bins empty. VERY disappointing. Was a great store. Now need to shop around to get all needed items for a job. Also return policy very bad. We buy thousands of dollars of goods, but now they hive hard time returning a few items.

Have to change my review. Just had an unfortunate experience with this Home Depot Raceway. I ordered an Airconditioner to pickup in store which it said it had 21 units available. I ordered around 10:30am. Never received a notification that it was pulled. I went to the store and they told me they could not find the units. They had no other units available. I then canceled my order which now I have to wait 3 to 5 business days to get the money back. I then check on online for another store. Same thing happened.Very upset!! Now I am out of $822 for the next 3 to 5 days.

Lots of choices easy to find

Went in looking to purchase a brand new dewalt drill. Saw a big billboard in the store impact/drill combo retail & 229.99 for sale $149.99.Look for assistance to unlock the shelf. He took the box to the front. This is where it gets interesting. The item rings up as $229.99 but after double checking the label does show the sale price. They just need to make price adjustments to their system to reflect the price. After looking at the box to notice its been taped up for resale. Request a new one but also found the second box is taped up. The original staff that assist with the locked shelf opened the box to show us. I mentioned I dont want people to return the drill and swap the batteries out. He said he seen that happen before. So I request if he can do something about the price to sweeten the deal. He said he has a manager adjust the price to reflect $149.99 for us. It was originally selling for $229.99. So my words just echo thru.Back to the register and waited until a manager show up to put in his code to authorize the actual price.NOTE TO ALL. This location sells second hand items/ repackage/ returns for full price. Shouldnt the item be send back to manufacturer for credit and not to another customer?

Its not the closest to our home, but my family prefer to shop there for years.Kyle at Painting Dept did a good job on this Monday 11/9.Last summer the two guys at Tile Dept did awesome jobs too.Thank you the management team of Home Depot at Westbury. Knowledgeable staff, good selections

Dont bother with curbside pickup. After waiting over 20 minutes for a Home Depot rep to bring a 70 lb bag of cement to my car, he arrives and proceeds to put a ripped bag into the back of my car. It had already been spilling while he had it in the cart, but he thought it was only spilling a little from the top. (He was wrong.) Solution: replace the bag; right? Wrong.I have to go to Customer Service and get a refund. Then, go get myself a replacement bag of cement. When I cant reach the pallet of 70 lb cement bags (on the second shelf), it takes asking three employees for help before someone is willing to assist.An hour after I arrived, Im on my way home with one bag of cement & a mess in my trunk. Not worth the effort. Next time: Lowes.

Its a lot better than my local Home Depot. Its organized and better stocked than most. You can actually navigate the isles without being blocked.

This location came in handy. I get all the things that I needed. Its kinda expected to a big store to ask some staffs for a help but Some staffs doesnt know where is where. But some just help out. So its okay. I will still recommend this location to my friends. Since they have what we needed.

No one at the cutting center, and when I needed help finding a specific item, no one there to help, other than a general “look at the back of the store.” Infuriating place and poorly managed.

Although extremely busy when I visited, I thought the layout of the store waspretty easy to follow. Staff helped me not only get what I needed but helped direct the line for a smooth flow at checkout
