Hadnt been into this store in a long time and wont be again anytime soon. Was there for 20 minutes before finally overhearing someone start asking people if they were checked in. He then started checking in everyone else that came in after me and a very nice woman (thank you to whoever you were!) stopped him and informed him we were there before them and he completely brushed it off and told them not to worry about it and continued checking them in and then took them back to work with them while I was standing right next to them. Was completely taken back and just walked out. Weve been with Verizon since before they were Verizon, but I think we might finally be at our breaking point...

Whom ever was working this morning may need additional training on how to assist customers. My wife went in to swap our screen protectors which have a lifetime warranty and was told that her screen wasnt a zagg, she then proceeded to purchase a zagg screen. When she then proceeded to register this new product her previous zagg screen appeared as already registered. She immediately returned to the Verizon store for a refund and was refused this because the product was already opened. No other credits or options were offered. Unfortunately the process was not explained properly from the associate at the store. We usually go to this store because of its good customer service. Sad that we ran into this issue today....

20 hours on hold over the last 60 days and my 4g router still wont do what I had asked for from the beginning (and they verified with their tech-support prior to me purchasing). Turns out it needs a more expensive router ($400) and $500 static ip address when I was told I was all set with a $300 router they provided. During this period they turned my business cell off (after I called to verify the text I received about my phone being stolen was not valid), charged me 3x as much as promised for said router monthly service, hung up on me in excess of 5x, didnt return my phone calls, and locked me out of my online account about 5x (still currently locked out). Currently on hold with verizon who keeps resetting my password and Im not able to login. Im trying to login because I got a message about my account being past due -- which is great because its setup as automatic payment. This has been the most frustrating business dealing of my life -- and we pay Verizon over $500 per month for our business cell phones. Save yourself the frustration and run from this company.

Severely complicated and confusing upgrade process! Beware of the long drawn out chicken scratch estimate (are we in 2021?). I received my ordered S21 Samsung and now have to upgrade my plan to be able to activate my phone. This was not written down or discussed. Josh, you let me down buddy. This long time Verizon customer will be exploring other options when my phone ironically dies in 2 years.

I have been a customer at the Verizon Store for many years and always had positive experiences in the past. At my last experience, I appreciate the thoroughness and time taken to go through the different plans. I was surprised when they didn’t set up my phone. Since I was the only one in the store I was surprised they wouldn’t take the time. I asked a couple times and they said it would take too long. I assume this was the new procedures. When I mention my experience to others they were shocked. I called Amherst store and the manager was very professional and helped set up, carefully put on the screen guard, and erase the old data in my phone. I could have never put on the screen guard with such precision. Thank you to Amherst. If this is the new policy in Westlake, I would recommend traveling to another store. Verizon has always been a company that values its customers and usually goes above and beyond to help. At least the smaller stores represent this tradition.

Ask for Anthony when you visit the Westlake store. He has excellent customer service, friendly and knowledgeable about the products. He was not in a rush for a sale, but took his time to explain all potential options.

Store representatives spent a few hours trying to resolve our new phone connectivity issues. Trey went far beyond his expertise by including tech support in finding the answers we needed. I wanted to share with those who helped (in particular Trey) that an extender was sent to us from Verizon. Installing it in our home fixed all the issues we were having. We were immediately able to connect to WiFi calling and emergency location. Also, our phone conversations are clear now and people can actually hear us talking!

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had a 1:00pm appointment, which I scheduled online. Online quickly instructed me to use my “Verizon App” to check in when I arrived.” When I get to the store there is no way to access a “check in” or any appointments. I check in with someone at the door, mentioning no check in on the app, and his response is “Oh well That’s how it goes” He comes back outside again and tells me they are running behind, I should come in and sit on a bench which was in the corner. “running behind” there are only two customers in the store, and no other customers coming in. At 1:20 another customer comes in and she is assisted immediately, I remain patient. I am approached by a sales person at 1:30 ready to help. I am upgrading 2 phones on my account, and we go over a few various options that I know I am already interested in, we go to the counter to start the paperwork and I am asked, “do you have your info backed up on the cloud?” I reply that I don’t and I am expecting them to transfer the data for me. “ we don’t do that anymore” in disbelief I say “ You don’t do that anymore?” and theirs was a reply of “Yes, that’s the issue.” I have no idea what that is supposed to mean, and I’m trying to figure out how I will get the data to my phone., before turning it in for a credit. I have now worked with this guy for 15 minutes, and I am told that a different sales associate is going to help me instead of the guy that I was just talking to………My ‘new” sales associate starts with “OK, how can I help you?” he needed to start from the beginning on what I was looking to achieve. I left the store, went to a “Best Buy”, didn’t need to make an appointment, was assisted within 5 minutes, of arriving, the Sales person was able to transfer my data, and he was able to assist me in making adjustments to my account paying less monthly and now have unlimited data @ 5G. The days of me using brick and mortar Verizon stores is over!

Customer service was great. However its ridiculous that CAPACITY is one customer to one employee. My wife and I were trying to setup a family plan with two other adults and we could only have one of us in the store at a time. Talk about a serious inconvenience when we were trying to discuss amongst the 4 of us what we want.

Caleb the manager was on the phone for a very long time talking with corporate for me and going to bat for me after I was told something by a corporate rep that wasn’t true. I was very impressed with his professionalism and the manner of customer service he displayed and the lengths he went to for me, who is a customer who actually just left them and went to a different carrier. He knew that prior to helping me and still went out of his way. My time at Verizon was fine, I only just left to save money since I have five phones in my family. Other than the money I would have stayed, and definitely now that I have seen Caleb’s managing skills in action.

Great service. Very professional. They stay on top of signing customers in and getting to them as soon as they can. I witnessed a very angry women scream at one man who had handled the whole situation perfectly. When she came back for more she asked to speak to the manager and the manager apologized and again handled the situation perfectly - even though she didn’t deserve an apology. Elliott was great! Fairly new with Verizon and their phone updates/plans. Switched a few months ago and a young gentlemen Owen greeted and helped me out my whole visit. He was nothing but nice and super helpful. Very knowledgeable throughout my whole experience, helped me set everything up with my new phone and walked out with having any questions. Incorrect phone sent from verizon. Patrick came to our aid. He went out of his way to make it as easy as possible for us to exchange and activate new phone, even providing a new SIM card. Every thing worked out beautifully thanks to Patricks terrific customer service. We are very satisfied with our experience.

I went into the store and told the associate greeting people at the door that I just had a simple 30-second question. I waited 20 minutes without getting an answer - I had to leave because I had a doctors appointment. I would have understood not getting helped in 20 minutes if all of the associates were busy - but there were 2 associates with one customer, and the associate checking people in at the door just stood around doing nothing instead of taking my one simple quick question.

I bought a $1000 iPad pro and left the store with a bluetooth keyboard that doesnt even power on. My mistake was leaving the place with a device that was not set up. Normally that happens at verizon stores. Now I have to spend my Sunday returning the product and finding a new one. My one negative verizon experience in recent memory. Quite upsettingCrocker Park is an authorized retailer versus a company store. I was told this when I called verizon who didnt offer a lot of help.The specific product is Brydge which is a wireless bluetooth keyboard for the iPad pro. IT DOES NOT TURN ON. This is a product that verizon carries in its stores that does not work OUT OF THE BOX.I have had verizon since 2010 and have probably had six or seven iPhones and several iPads and iWatches, all through verizon.My main learning point is never leave a verizon store without the product working. I tried to get this to happen and not sure why it did not but now I have to make multiple phone calls and spend Sunday getting a bluetooth keyboard. BAD EXPERIENCEI am considering a carrier switch and will see how I feel in the next few weeks.I called verizon customer care twice and texted with the online verizon help and they offered no suggestions. Will update after I visit.I would also not bother with the online appointment scheduling. I had an 11 am appointment and am waiting🤮🤮🤮

If you are going to go to a Verizon store on the Clevelands West side, this is the one to go to. Since its a corporate store, the staff is going to be better trained. Much more friendly and helpful than what you would get at franchise store.

Absolutely terrible. I waited 10 minutes in the store before I was even greeted, even when their was only 2 costumers in the store. I also waited 40 minutes to be helped before I left. The people in this store are just not nice and it feels like they dont want you to be there.

Bought a phone. Waited in line outside the store since EVERY Verizon store is understaffed. There were 11 people waiting with me in 10 degree weather. Bought a phone. Three hour wait to download at the store. Told told to go home and use the wireless at home to complete the download since they didnt have enough wireless capacity at the Wireless Store. Of course I get home and the phone doesnt have any data on it. Call the store and they refer me to Apple Support. Make sure you get a competent sales associate.

Been to the store a handful of times for both new phones and troubleshooting broken ones. It really depends on whos working because you never know if youre going to get good help or someone who tells you to go home and call Verizon. Sometimes they help, but more often its a waste of time.

Phone stores always seem to have it rough, as it always seems half the people have problems and are upset. If you get here right when it opens you move quickly and dont have to wait around for help. Recommend getting there early to avoid the lines!

I have no idea how to really be fair here.Ive been in this store a handful of times.Mostly, there are far too many associates just doing nothing, or talking to each other - while customers wait for no real reason...I have had ONE outstanding visit there, when I was swapping and upgrading my phone. Maybe THATS the ticket! As long as youre not just nagging them, but theres real business happening...theyll give you love.Sorry, but while Ive now tried 4X to actually call the store, and failed, and have been on hold with every possible prompt - ya get the 1 star!

Came in to get an upgrade and was greeted by Owen. I told the gentleman that i wanted the pixel 2. He went to the back to grab one and took 15 minutes to come out. I walked around and waited for him to come back out. The upgrade process took around an hour to complete. Not sure if the representative was clueless or new. After asking for all my stuff to be transferred owen had accidentally deleted all of my contacts and i use my phone for business. i highly recommend never coming to this location and if you do, do not be waited on by owen. terrible experience and i am thinking of switching to t-mobile because of all this.

My son who recently returned from Japan was trying to get service for an iPhone purchased there. After a stop at a customer-no-service Sprint store in Avon and another frustrating stop at the Verizon store in Avon we went home. After much internet search we decided to try the Verizon store in Westlake. Our wait time was very short and we cordially greeted by Dylan Teter. Dylan was both knowledgeable and helpful. Although he was unable to resolve our problem we left the store feeling that we exhausted all possible solutions. Dylan appeared to really care about us as customers. Thank you!
