Beyond the fact that this company does everything it can to keep customer loyalty. This specific store has been incredibly helpful with projects Ive taken on. Ive never felt ignored or abused in this store. Everyone there has been great help and offers personal experience beyond a rote sales speech. Ill always use best buy whenever I can. Right after the limited selection of local tech stores that is.
Bought a new 43 LG 4k TV. That thing is sweet, oh what a picture.I liked the variety that they had on display. Being able to actually see the picture quality really helped me decide on what I wanted.
Good prices. But it was hard to find an employee to help. When one came along I found out at checkout she had given me incorrect information, so had to go back.The second girl was more helpful and got me the item I needed.I dont like that they are not trained in the products they are selling. They simply look it up on their phone and give the minimum info that is online.They cannot answer any questions that are not general.

As with any store in this chain, the staff isnt always the most knowledgeable. Further training on the products offered would greatly benefit the experience. The idea of a brick and mortar shop should be to offer a well informed staff. With the ever increasing usage of online ordering services, having a staff that cant provide you with the information needed seemingly nullifies the point of buying electronics in person.

Is went in to get a birthday present for my son.. Asked 2 employees to help me and they did nothing and acted like I was bothering them. I asked the 2nd one if there was anybody in the building that could help me and he said check with a girl across the store. Fortunately she cared about her job and she was awesome.
This was the first time I had a great experience at best buy. I figured out why when I checked out. The young man that helped me was actually an employee with Google and not best buy. Go figure. He was super helpful and I ended up buying a Dell laptop.I believe the true best buy employees need customer service classes.
I dont even like Best Buy anymore but I was looking for a unique item for cable coax, so I figured I would give them another chance. Someday I will learn. I spent over 30 minutes in there & felt like the invisible man! I went back to the front to let them know I couldnt find help & I might as well been talking to the wall. The last 3 times I have been to Best Buy both in Topeka & East Wichita I leave unhappy with no purchase. There wont be a fourth time. Definately hard to find good, polite help these days.
I need to connect my printer to my new google nest router, a young lady ask me if I needed help, she was part of the geek squad. She googled, how do I connect wifi printers to google nest. She couldnt answer my question because it was a procedure that she told me how to find. She provided me with the best customer service I have every received at Best Buy in the 30 years Ive been going to best buy. I wish I could remember her name but She was a tall oriental lady. I was thrilled I didnt have to replace my old brother printer. Thank you Best Buy employee.
Best Buy is great!!! Please support this business. They are one of the ONLY stores to offer such a wide assortment of truly great merchandise. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Need a TV? Buy one here and it will be the best one youve ever owned. Plenty of experts to answer your questions and no pushy salesman, just honest and helpful employees.
It was not nice standing in line for so long maybe in a little bit older. Then I get up there and the lady tells me Geek Squad is not taking only appointments and I said like that Im just wanting to have my computer checked out on hotspot well let me see I dont know if we have any appointments or not and I said oh okay she didnt have one until they clear the next day and I said no that wont work for me thanks

We were greeted as soon as we walked in and asked if we were looking for something specific. He directed us to the area. We then asked another employee for further information which we were lead to another area. We decided on the products we wanted then asked to have the case opened and then promptly checked out. Needed to check inside the packaging of a compact fridge before I had it loaded into the back of my car. According to the company policy of Best Buy, the person helping out with the large item will not be able to touch it after doing so. Had an injured wrist, so help was needed.
Store is constantly out of stock. Im always told well you can order online and we can ship it to your house in two days. If I wanted to order online id chose Amazon, have it in a day, and save 5% on my Amazon cash back card. I came to best buy to see and touch stuff.

We recently bought a new tv and tv stand they had to order the tv stand wich was ok took a week but worth it the staff was nice and helpful the salesmen looked hard for the tv we wanted that wasnt on the sales floor but it was in the back we now have a nice 43 inch tv and stand that can hold up to a 55 inch tv we love our new tv and stand we are very grateful that they had what we were looking for they are just awesome

Best Buy is a great store with a lot of great things.You can get anything from speakers to a TV to a new phone and everything tech in between. The prices make sense and are logical.The one bad thing Ill say is how little Samsung accessories they have compared to Apple. Apple has 3 designated isles where I think Samsung had half of one.It makes it harder to find decent Samsung tech in Wichita, and Id rather not get cases from the Verizon store.
I exchanged a mid-size/compact fridge that had cosmetic damage I had ordered online, at the Best Buy on Rock Road. I was told according to company policy we could not open the new item in store to make sure it was not damaged. So before I had them load it into my car, I wanted to open it since it was outside the store (and I live quite far away). I opened it. The person helping refused to help load it afterwards, stating they could not touch it or help anymore according to company policy. I told them I had a disability which made it difficult for me to load it. They again said they could not help and walked away, leaving me to try and get it in my vehicle. Wrist is not doing so good now.
I been shopping at Best Buy for over 20yrs and love the service the quality and the way they back there service and products. The plans they offer for Geek Squad for me is awesome and worth the price for me. Happy to do business with them every time I do business. If its electronic I come here first.
I always enjoy my visit here! If the person that helps me can not answer my question, they know who can and seek them out. They are out of a product I want, it gets ordered for me. I just appreciate these people so much!!!

Great customer service! They were able to answer all my questions. Boyfriend dropped off a laptop to be looked at and I bought the keyboard I was looking for at a great price! It was very clean and they took extra precautions by sanitizing counters after every customer at the register.
Great store, great location, just always out of what I want... Went to exchange a controller I had a warranty on and they didnt even have one within 100mi. Then made me buy a new warranty after sending a replacement.
I went in looking for a specific microwave. They did not carry the one I wanted. Found one that was smaller but wrong color. The salesperson suggested another brand with the same specs. I asked the price. It was $ 300. More than the first one. I asked why but they guy didnt have an answer. I finally convinced him it was because it was a convection oven/ microwave not just a microwave. I am always disappointed with this store.

Service was fast and friendly. Needed to return an unused gpu but was opened from packaging. It was unused because right after I opened it I found the gpu I was looking for and bought that instead from the manufacturer themselves. I took the other gpu in for the return and even though it was unused and no scratches were on the product, all I got was store credit. I dont know if it was a store policy or at managers discretion. Either way, I have some credit to spend at the store in the future.

Everytime we go to this store the shelves are emptier than the time before. Why sell Android products if you dont carry the cases or screen protectors? Not to mention trying to get help anywhere is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Target has more electronics than this store. This store is on the way to closing its doors, for sure. Sad. 🥴

I went in to exchange a corsair scimitar elite (gaming mouse) I had bought because I did not like it and wanted a different one. When I got there there was 3 people waiting in line and 1 attendant at the customer service desk. Within 1 minute 2 other employees came over to assist and i was helped by a lady. I told her i wanted to exchange my mouse for a logitech g600. she said ok, you can grab the one you want from the shelf, then directed me to where they were. I walked to the shelves, only about 10 steps behind the counter she was helping me at, and saw they did not have the mouse I wanted in stock. I went back to the counter she was at but she was not there, nor anywhere in eyesight. I waited until the other customers had been helped (about 5 minutes) then a different gentleman helped me. I explained the situation to him and said I didnt know where the other lady went but she has the mouse I was returning. He couldnt find her but did find where she had stashed the returned mouse I brought and continued my return process. Since they did not have the logitech g600 in stock I asked for a refund so I could order it online (which has it in stock). The gentleman said he could order it now and would be at my house within 4 days. I was thankful he was able to quickly refund the amount and place my new order quickly. Final thoughts, I was pleased with how quickly I was initially helped when entering the store, although, halfway through my return process the person helping me was gone and l was very irritated. The 2nd person did an amazing job of making me feel like a valued and respected customer. Everybody was friendly, (even if not the most attentive attendents) and the inside and outside of the store was clean.

I tried for two days to visit with a sales associate about purchasing a scanner that would be compatible with my laptop. I have boxes of old photos to scan and share with my family. Its a 45 minute drive one way to either Wichita story, and I needed to visit with a sales representative before making the drive. After making 21 phone calls using all the options the automated system would allow and holding for at least 10 minutes each time, I gave up. One star for their products, zero stars for customer service.

Overall a good experience. I commend them for requiring masks for everyone. They could improve their customer support and service. Their warranty policies leave a lot to be desired. Its a good shopping experience anyway.

Our Microwave decided it did not want to work and given it was only 6 months old called and was told an approximate time to be there. Straight in no line, swapped out the old one for a new one. Less than an hour after leaving home the new one was installed. Great experience. Well done Best Buy

I live out of town so I call before I come to Wichita so I dont waist a trip. Today I was looking for specific tablet to come in and buy. It took an eternity to get anyone to answer the phone who simply told me she didnt know if they had one and put me back on hold. I had other stuff I was working on so I turned on speaker phone and continued with my task at hand. After FIFTY FIVE MINUTES I could hear the line pick back up with talking in the back ground then the phone being hung up! Best buy, you just lost any and all future business from me.
Honestly I set out to buy a new smartwatch here and was disappointed with the selection. Its definitely not what it once was.

I have to put a star or I can’t post! But I give them zero Stars! Ordered last Friday for curbside pick up, website says 1 hr wait time. It’s been 5 days still no item, called multiple times. Have no answers to why my order still isn’t ready for pick up. Called canceled online order, customer service did a store buy and said that the item would be ready for pick up today( 12-23-2020), still no email for pick up information! Never ordering from bestbuy again. Disappointed in the service we have received.

Went in to buy a new radio for my car and get it installed. The lady there told me I could get one for $99 and up and get free install included so I did, then she said I will need a cable harness and a adapter bracket so the radio would fit. She seemed confused about whether I needed the harness or not so she talked with her manager and they decided I did not need it. They didn’t have any openings for install at this location but the following day had an opening at the store in west Wichita so she made me an appointment.I got there before my appointment time with the radio and bracket and walked up to say I was there for an appointment. The tech looked at my parts and said I would need the harness for him to install the radio and was very apologetic saying the previous store made a mistake. He said he would order the harness since no one keeps them in stock and ship it to my house. He said I could take it to any Best Buy location and they’d install my radio. I left rather disappointed and a few days later got the harness. Since then it appears they’re strictly doing “appointment only” and everything is backlogged at least a month. Meanwhile I have this useless radio and parts I spent over $150 on in my trunk and when I call Best Buy they don’t even pick up the phone.TL;DRAfter now two negative experiences at a Best Buy, despite being someone who grew up going to their stores, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Joe helped me out today with an SD card problem. He was really nice and very knowledgeable. He even took the time to insert the SD card that I had in my phone to see what the issue may have been. After todays visit, I can stop searching for SD cards because I now know that my phone is the problem.
