Massive showroom....but prices are insanely high. Its ridiculous! Theyll tell you anything to sell you a package of appliances. You can get a microwave here for $2000-$3000. Or just go to best buy and spend $200-$300!We went there to choose for whole house...our builder sent us there.....microwave, stove,oven,diswasher and washer and dryer....THEY WONT GAURANTEE PRICES OR HOLD YOUR PURCHASE until the build is completed. DONT waste your time...the sticker shock was almost $22000! Ridiculous!

Was given several washers to consider. Sales person gave me specs on each. They stated their personal opinions but gave me plenty of time to weigh my priorities and did not rush me. He even politely listened to my stories and let my mom use the electric chair to get around the show room. I wanted to work with a local company and this one is employee owned. Im currently satisfied I made the choice to visit them today.

First time here, sales staff know and understand the products they are selling. They know specifications and reliability of the products also. If there is a question that they do not have an answer to, they will research the answer and get back with you.

I was referred to Metro by another appliance store, when I was trying to locate a fridge that I needed to have the same day and not wait a week or more for it to be ordered. They had one in stock and it was on sale. I was able to pick it up the same day and am so relieved! Service was fantastic, Employees were great and I got a better fridge than I would have gotten had I settled and ordered from somewhere and waited for it to arrive. I HIGHLY recommend. *editing to add- discovered an issue with my new fridge seal and it not sealing properly. Called Metro, they immediately ordered the new seal and are having it shipped directly to me so it will be here for the service guys to come replace it.

Very pleasant employees. Went in for refrigerator, but found out it will be 90+days Waite to get one. Supply is hard to get.Update the refrigerator was brought today just shy of 90 days. When we took the plastic off it has a good size dent and scratch 😳. Waiting to see if they are going to do anything to make it right. Didnt pay over $2000 for a damaged refrigeratorUpdate: they refunded us 10% of the price we paid.

The lady they delivered to me finally was very nice, and helpful. So I will say that on the positive side.Delivery service is not planned well. They call you a week before with a estimated time they will be there. We got told 830am, 4 hours later still no dishwasher. Did not even receive a call, or even an email to explain the reasoning. Had to call them to get and explanation, and they still y give me a time. So asked to talk to a manager, and guess what same explanation. Both people I talked too were rude in the phone, and said “we understand your frustration.” If you are going to be late, you should call the customers. People have to pay bills.

From the original salesman Todd who made sure all was satisfactory, Shannon who made sure I got in contact with the right person to help me especially Steven who went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue, today, I truly appreciate it. Had great experience when we went in the store. Brian was incredibly helpful, and was knowledgeable. Store was very clean and looked impressive with cool items you didnt know existed. Didnt make a purchase that day. Later that week when calling about their in-stock it was a hassle. They ran out. No biggie. Called back next week, and again a terrible hassle. They were more worried about who helped you first and its that persons job to handle you. Oh they arent here currently, call back. A specific person has to be there to check in-stock? I finally became an A-hole and said, could you just walk your happy a** over and look. Oh look its in the store.... I know youre commission based. But help your coworkers make the sale.

My story about Lonnie, assistant sales manager at metro appliance in Wichita, Kansas.For many years Lonnie worked at a competitor appliance store. I was a customer of his at that appliance store for 12 years for my rental property and personal home appliance needs. My parents also only went to Lonnie for many years. Awhile back I was in need of a dishwasher. Went to the appliance store and asked for Lonnie and they said he no longer worked there and would not tell me where he left and went to work so went ahead and bought a dishwasher. The dishwasher installer advise me that Lonnie is now at Metro Appliance.Lonnie is a fantastic, informative, knowledgeable about appliance products and overall just a really great person. So, so much for the other appliance store I always used because I only want to do my purchase needs with Lonnie. Since Lonnie has been at metro, I have bought 2 dishwashers, a refrigerator and a stove.Thank you Lonnie for always being available to fit me in for appointments for my appliance needs. Also thank you for the recommendation on a handyman to remove my old stove this past week. I was in need of a new handyman for my rental property since my guy retired. Bought a Speed Queen washer and dryer the end of October 2020. I hasnt worked right since day one. I thought it was me since I hadnt had a new washer in so long. But it started flooding my laundry room floor more and more it wont wash a heavy load at all. I was jeans for a farmer/rancher and towels for 3 adults. I finally reached out to Metro the middle of December very upset and frustrated!! They were very nice about it and discussing the problem my husband decided to open up the front of it and upon doing so discovered the wiring harness was not all the way connected. Not sure why but two weeks letter started to not work again and water was everywhere. I cannot run this machine without unplugging it 3 times and it takes me several days to wash one load. I have gone to laundromats to wash too. I have called Metro and they tell me they have no Speed Queen washers available to sell me a different one or to replace this one. I have contacted Speed Queen headquarters and have not gotten a reply either. I going to buy a new washer from an appliance center that has plenty of Speed Queens on hand. After 4 months I just want to wash clothes and not take several days to do so.

I worked with a very nice woman named Lou over the phone to purchase a dishwasher. She was very patient with all my questions. Was good to call me back in a timely manner. I would say they will get more of our appliance business going forward.

We bought a dishwasher from Metro Appliance on a Monday with a delivery date the following Friday between 9:00-Noon. It was never delivered. On Saturday we were once again promised delivery between 11:00-2:00. Once again never delivered. Our son told us this is a common occurrence with Metro. We were told the item was in stock so we are wondering why there is such a delivery issue. We are going to ask for a refund as their Delivery Service and Customer Service promises are terrible and not to be trusted.

My husband and I want to applaud the exceptional customer service that we received at Metro, probably the best from any business ever, and we are old enough to remember when all businesses cared about customer service! We bought a high-end refrigerator at a fabulous price from Metro back in 2015. The compressor failed 4 years later and was covered by warranty. When it failed again 8 months after being replaced, we were understandably upset. The manufacturer agreed to warrant the compressor again and through our six weeks of waiting for service even agreed to pay for the labor, but they never followed through with sending a repairman and would not cover anyone who was not arranged through them. Meanwhile, we were stuck going up and down to the basement to an old fridge for weeks. Lucky for us, we finally took our problem to John Anderson, the General Manager at Metro. He interceded on our behalf directly with his manufacturer, and we left with a brand new refrigerator of our choice (not THAT brand) for FREE! John spent a lot of time fighting for us and deserves a medal for the results. You might find an appliance you like better somewhere else (although doubtful with Metros huge selection) but you will not find a better price on something they carry, and you cannot BUY that kind of customer service, especially five years after a purchase.

This store is fabulous. Unfortunately the item I bought wouldnt fit. They did everything they could to get a replacement. But the darn virus has limited supplies of everything. They went above and beyond to help. Next time I need an appliance, they will be the first place I go.

After researching and visiting every appliance shop in town - I realized I could have saved a lot of time and gone straight to Metro. 5 year new LG dishwasher went out and with the knowledge and advice from Kathy I ended up purchasing a Bosch. She had a genuine knowledge of each brands pros and cons. I felt no pressure to make a purchase or buy more than needed. Loading process was quick and easy. They also have a very unique extended warranty program that is unlike any Ive come across.

This place rocks and is one of the few places left that have knowledgeable staff who know their appliances! I found a dishwasher for about $50 cheaper than at Bestbuy and they had it in stock. To top it off they have a military discount just like Lowes or Home Depot so check them out.

Couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with Metro. The best selection, the best staff and they communicated well. We had a bad experience with a big box store, which lead me to metro. I will never shop anywhere else for appliances again.

We went in today to purchase appliances for a house we are remodeling. We have purchased from Metro multiple times in the past. I asked about an oven that was on clearance and was told by the sales person that she would not recommend. She then went on to say that she personally had the same brand at home (the same model) and had zero problems for 9 years. I asked about 18 dishwashers and she said they did not have any...I spotted one 5 feet from where we were standing...she did not recommend it either. We asked about a washer and dryer that we purchased from Metro 18 months ago that are both having trouble now. We did not buy an extended service contract so we are out of warranty. I understand that but we were told that things just dont last any more. I understand they are not under any obligation to do anything but I bought what they recommended and $1800 should get you more than 18 months...we left without buying anything and will not be going back....we will buy our new oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer elsewhere.

I purchased a stove, refrigerator, side by side, and a washer, and dryer! 5 year extended Warranty. Stove went bad 2 years later. New parts didnt fix it. The manager, John has been great to me. It took some time, for him to do what he had too do, but he came through and ordered me a new replacement stove. Patience on my part, and trusting John, would take care of me, worked. Thank you John, and staff, for listening. In the end, did 100% what you said, you would do. Joe White.

Bought a Maytag washer/dryer set. One of the dryer cycles wouldnt work properly, even after the prompt attention of the technician (so glad it has the 5 year, in-home warranty). Recently purchased a new GE Fridge. The showroom is very nice. Very friendly sales reps.Upon arrival unfortunately the fridge was missing a second ice maker as this particular one turned out to not be available.We contacted metro and they wanted to ensure we’re 100% satisfied. They made it right and agreed to exchange for another one in store.I would still purchase from Metro at this point as they do have a great selection. This will be my second time purchasing from metro and both times they’ve treated us right.

Im hard to impress when it comes to service while shopping and even more so when it comes to shopping for appliances. I was more than impressed with how helpful Steve was though. He went above and beyond what I expected when it came to helping us select and buy our dishwasher. Would have no hesitation sending anyone I knew there.

Went into store today and yes someone spoke to us when we walked in but that is all the service we received. We walked around the entire store and no one else said a word to us. Other customes came in and they were greeted and asked if they needed help...not us every other employee was too busy on their cell phones or talking with other employees about personal issues to help us. We drove an hour to try and find a refrigerator...biggest waste of our time. Hopefully they can eventually learn what customer service really is.

If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would! Do NOT EVER purchase anything from this store! I have had a horrible customer experience. I bought a washer and dryer from this company. It was supposed to be delivered the week after I bought it. I was told to call the store if I had not heard from the associate I bought it from by that Wednesday. I called the store and the store had me leave a message for that associate. I never got a return call from the associate until I called back the following week! I was informed by the associate that they were no longer sure if they were going to get any shipments of the washer and dryer I ordered. The associate then offered me the floor model and said the only thing wrong with them was a couple of scuff marks that would be hidden in the laundry room. Didnt even offer me a discount. They were delivered the following week the delivery workers were not careful with my washer and dryer getting it up the stairs and hit it on several things! And then they started my washer and dryer and left! My washer immediately started leaking! I called the company and they said they couldnt get anyone out there and I had to call a different maintenance company to come and fix. My washer leaked in my apartment for over a week until someone could come look at it! My carpet had to be tore up and I have had to have a fan blowing on my carpet for a week which has added a large amount to my electricity bill! And them when the maintenance person was looking at the washer he said it was full of RUST and he said it definitely wasnt new. He had to order a new part for it and I dont know when that will even be delivered or installed and if that is the only leak! I will tell everyone I know to NEVER EVER buy anything from this company!

I went to Metro to look at to look at refrigerators last week. Lonnie Wheeler was the salesperson whom I dealt with. We reviewed each manufacturers offering. He was very helpful in explaining the nuances of each brand. He was very friendly and professional. After the sale he went above and beyond to provide additional services for me.The installation team, led by Cameron, was indeed professional and friendly. It was not an easy task to remove the old refrigerator and install the new one due to space restrictions. They were very careful and accomplished task without any issues.Great job by sales and installation team!

The used appliances were really dirty! They want top dollar for used dirty appliances. Go to a rent a center and tell them your cash and carry; they will cut you a deal.

There is a reason Ive kept coming back to Metro since I moved to Wichita 8 years ago. Anytime Ive needed a new appliance, Metro beat or matched the competition. This time, Metro beat a cash and carry floor model price I found at Costco. Excellent customer service and delivery and setup.

Wont call a boxed store again... they gave me a good deal and were the ONLY store that had the unit we needed in stock when our washer went out. They spent tons of time confirming if the new unit would stack with my old dryer-- I couldnt even get a boxed store to look up availability at another location. Super happy, Jon was wonderful!! Delivery the next day... no more piles of laundry!

A couple years ago we needed a new dishwasher so we went to several places to compare styles and prices. Metro Appliances & More had amazing service and the same or lower prices as the other places we looked. So when we needed to shop for a new microwave we came straight here and were pleased that they still have great service and prices. We will be coming here for all future appliance needs.

My experience with Metro Appliance and More and specifically Jon Anderson has been exemplary in every respect. He took an inordinate amount of time with my wife and me explaining the pluses and minuses of the various appliances we were interested in which made our decision making much easier. We had an issue with one of the appliances and he went to bat for us with the manufacturer and we got a favorable resolution. We have purchased a number of appliances since then and have been very pleased with their service. I found that while they werent always the lowest price around, they were competitive and when service was factored in our choice on where we would purchase was obvious.Should I be in the market for other appliances in the future, it goes without question that we will not look elsewhere.

Kim was wonderful to work with as she shared with me every model that had the features for which I was searching. She answered all my questions and concerns thoroughly, and she very efficiently walked me through the selection, purchase, ordering and subsequent pickup of my range. This was my second purchase at Metro Appliances, and I do love shopping at Metro. I need to do a better job of referring business to Metro, because I really appreciate having you in Wichita! Shopping is not my gig, so thanks for making it easy to shop with confidence at Metro!Oh, and Life is Good with my gas range! I love it!

I went in early this week to look at some dishwashers and refrigerators. my other half had already picked out the units she wanted however I didnt know if it fit in the house. Kathy was helpful and had knowledge of the product when I described it. Hell she even had one in stock if I wanted to load it up in the truck unlike everyone else around town. Found out they will deliver out of town. No one else (ie; homedept, lowes, menards, sears, ) would deliver to me outside of town. She also printed out the specs page for me so I could take it home and find out if it would fit so I didnt have to look it up. we ended up ordering one online as it was after hours, but wanted to extend a thanks to Kathy B.

I would have saved myself a lot of time if Id gone here first instead of home improvement stores shopping for a new electric range with coil burners -- those are harder to find than you might think, but these peoples jobs are to know appliances and not every other floor in a big box store. Lonnie did an excellent job finding me the perfect range that was actually discontinued but had one in the back which I bought sight-unseen since it was still in the box, but I love it. Unfortunately, when it it was delivered it was found my old range was hard-wired, so the deliverers couldnt install it. The deliverers took good care in referring me to Edwards Appliance who could (just not that day). Metro was quick to refund the installation fee over the phone and apologetic for something that wasnt their fault. Things worked out great in the end. If you want to get their extended warranty, they go above and beyond by applying a store credit if it doesnt get used before it expires.
