My Husband and I ordered a custom Santa Cruz spa with waterfall last summer and have been enjoying it almost nightly for the past couple of months. Its truly amazing and really fosters solid sleep! Jamil and Dave made the process go smoothly because theres so much more than letting a big box company deliver it on a palette! From electrical to foundation to a care demonstration to communication and assurance through the COVID delays, we have felt confident through the entire process. Each employee weve met has been courteous and helpful. When we go in for chemicals, we get helpful tips and continued service. This is a big decision and were so pleased we picked Flint Hills Spas!

We decided our old hot tub was getting tired, so we began looking for the perfect replacement. We went to several retailers & ended up at Flint Hills Spas. We visited with Dave who led us in the direction of the perfect spa for us. We ordered in August 2020 & due to delays from Covid 19 on production of their spas, we got ours on April 14, 2021. The movers took great care not to tear up the back yard bringing our spa to the back yard patio. The move was flawless! Loren, from Flint Hills Spas was there to oversee the move, then he sprang into action and began putting all the beautiful pieces of the spa together. Loren was very good about explaining the operation of the spa. We waited 7 months for our spa, but, that was due to Covid. The wait was well worth it ♥️! This company is all about customer service. I went here to look at hot tubs Thursday and the customer service was great and their prices beat all of the local competitors prices. So my husband and I went back today and again got great customer service and the employees were very knowledgeable about the products and cleaning and upkeep of the hot tubs we looked at. We ended up getting a custom one ordered and the paperwork, price and financing was fast and very reasonable. We are super happy with our purchase and will definitely recommend this company to others that we know. Thank you Dave and the team for making our 1st time hot tub purchase very smooth and great. We ordered our spa in October 2020, but due to the pandemic, we just now got it. We are very happy with it. Its a replacement to our other spa that quit working for us. We have missed having a spa, but so pleased with going to Flint Hills Spas for replacement.
Flint Hills Spas is wonderful to work with. Jamil worked with us to be sure we purchased the right model for our first spa and unique medical requirements. He was full of helpful suggestions and excellent installation. Although delivery of our spa was delayed due to the COVID Crisis, FHS kept us up do date on the delivery and all went smoothly. Even the setup crew was very polite, respectful, and willing to please.
Flint Hills Spa came to trouble-shoot my tub and ended up taking my housing and heating element out, but not returning it after I spoke up when they replaced it without permission.They came back, took their part back, but didn’t leave mine.An element for the heater tube is cheap online.They took the whole apparatus and tried to bill me about 350 when I was VERY clear ahead of time that I was only cool with a 45.00 diagnosis since I already knew the heating element had corroded and broken positive and negative leads.The diagnosis dude showed up an hour or two earlier than scheduled, called my cell 5 minutes before entering the backyard unsupervised as I was still at work, on a schedule... and proceeded to pop the whole new heater tube and element in and put all the panels back on and tell me it was fixed, and would only be about 200 for the heater when I got there.He left, I was shocked, but if it had worked... I would have just shrugged my shoulders and paid.But, it didn’t work. They came back. Tried all kinds of stuff. Then told me it was the pump and the oxygenator, and would only be like 400-800 more.That was the “straw” so to speak and I complained about the heater part before Ng put in without permission when I originally only wanted a diagnosis.(Which, in hindsight wasn’t even right, since they “fixed it” by replacing the heater tube snd core without permission; only for it to STILL be popping breakers.)This review is not a surprise for the owner.I had a gentlemanly conversation with him.I asked for some recourse. He said he would sell me one at cost. He said that would be about 100.00. I spend that on dinner a couple times a week; but for me, it’s the point.I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the way this has been handled across the board. I let him know that I was not happy with that, he said that was all he could do. That it is all he was willing to do. I’m bewildered. I told him I’m a level 6 google local guide, which besides being nerdy means nothing other than I review a lot of places. I enjoy reviewing places for good reasons; not like this.- And yes, I spoke with the owner. I approached him as a gentleman but he would not return my part nor provide a replacement.I say “stole” because:1. They never had permission to take it.2. I told him to leave the parts after I realized he’d changed it before I could get there without my permission, as it is my practice to keep old parts for future use. He didn’t.3. I asked for it back when they were coming to pull the part I didn’t want installed to begin with. They neglected to bring it.4. I’ve made it clear it was taken without permission to the owner snd employees; and they don’t seem to care.As far as I’m concerned, the responsibility is on them to either return me a used part similar to mine in terms of model and condition.To add insult to injury, they started sending me bills for labor of around 309, then bills with late fees.The owner did quit sending me bills for stealing from me finally after I called him and explained the situation.Later the next season, I opened the tub and realized that the piece they should have returned wasn’t there.I would have complained sooner had I known it wasn’t there.It felt like he thought he was doing me a favor by not charging me to pull out a part I never approved; and specifically never approved the labor either. I can remember telling the scheduler and the installer (who was a nice guy) that I am a DIY guy. It’s like I’m the bad guy for being clear and not allowing them to steam roll me. It’s now been 2 years since I had a tub that worked.
We received our hot tub back in October. We use it on the daily and couldnt be more happy. Flint Hills Spas made the entire process so smooth from helping us select the right spa for our needs, advice on concrete pouring and referrals for a noble electrician. Upon delivery of the spa, there was such care taken of not only getting the spa up and running, but such personalized detail of instructions for easy maintenance. I am so glad we chose Flint Hills Spas!

These days it is so hard to find good customer service. Flint Hills Spas understands good customer service! Any time we are in their store, we are treated like we are their most important customer. The guys take the time to thoroughly explain their products and answer all our questions. They are familiar with the water problems that we have where we live and that knowledge makes it easier for them to help us balance our chemicals. I highly recommend, if you are looking for a spa, come see these guys!
They have 2 locations, one East and one West. The West side can do digital water readings! They are easy to get to off of Kellogg and Dugan to the west of Wendys. They helped with diagnosing and recommending the right product to reduce the phosphates in my spa. Focus is on spas and hot tubs just what we need. They carry the Leisure brand products.
This location is convenient and I always enjoy my experience. Generally have a great conversation with Dave!
Flint Hills Spa helped us to pick out the right hot tub for our needs and where to place it then they installed it once we got the site prepared. They did a great job and worked with us through the learning process of how to maintain it. When we travel they service the hot tub and keep it in top shape for a nominal fee. They have an excellent supply of needed chemicals and supplies and the knowledge of how to keep the hot tub in tip top shape. We trust them with all their knowledge and help so that when we soak it our hot tub the water has the correct Ph and chemical balance! I would strongly recommend them if your wanting a hot tub. We love ours and use it almost every night. Even in the summer.........we just turn the temperature down a few degrees! 👌👍🤜
Bought a South Seas 748L from them last year. We love it. Ive had some challenges keeping the water levels right but they have been very supportive with giving advice. Would definitely recommend.

Flint Hills Spa is an incredible business. The staff provides outstanding customer service. I have had my Artesian Spas hot tub for four years - it works great. It has had a couple of very minor repair needs -- Flint Hills Spa provided no charge warranty service same day! Extremely pleased with everything about them.
Easy to work with, no pressure. Install went smooth and we were able to use the spa the same evening. We had water quality issues they were very helpful with and provided what we needed at no extra charge. Felt like a small family business atmosphere.

We bought a spa from them 5 years ago which we love. We had a minor problem last week which was taken care of expeditiously. Their customer service was outstanding!! Anybody can sell a product, it is how they back what they sell that is paramount to these two retired 5th grade teachers. A BIG 5 stars from us!!!

These guys are great! We didnt purchase our spa from them but they took the time to answer all of our questions. They know their stuff about current spas and accessories and future designs. They also have a nice selection of casual outdoor accessories (rugs, umbrellas, storage, and stools). We only purchased a prefilter but well be back!

I purchased an above ground pool in April. The staff was very friendly and helpful I thought. I paid cash for this thing. It is July 2nd and Im finally getting my pool installed myself. It has been the worst experience EVER! June 6th I had to call and find out when the pool was going to be delivered. They never bothered to let me know or tell me the pool was in and ready to go. They were supposed to call me when they got close to the location. They did not. Consequently they dropped the pool in the middle of the path where the equipment would have to go in and out to deliver sand, grade the site, etc. Now I have ruts in my yard. The pool installer they hooked me up with turned out to be a flake. I understand the weather this year has not been helpful but this dude had many opportunities to get it done and always had personal issues to deal with. After my 2nd phone call to complain they said they would get me a new installer. The guy didnt call me for another 5 days. He was supposed to call me that night. I finally told them forget it, I would have it done myself. Then I texted the sales guy on June 14 AND followed up with a phone call. When I ordered the pool they wanted to charge me over $400 for the pool cove. When I looked it up on the internet it was less than $100. When I asked why he couldnt answer. I said I would get it myself. So my text and call on the 14th was to confirm that I purchase the pool cove but was uncertain about the pool pad. He said I didnt need to purchase that. In the phone call he said it would be included in the box. Forward to July 2nd, no pool pad in box. When I called he said he never told me that. I have a great memory, he did. And after all the problems why would you not offer to resolve the issue without question. Warning to everyone......do not use this company. You will have nothing but problems and no offer to resolve or help. WORST EXPERIENCE AFTER SPENDING $6,000 IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. This post was not made by Jim Boone.
