Travelled from Harrisonburg, VA to this location after calling about hours on Thursday (date of this posting) and no one was in the store and it was locked. Despite their hours being posted on the door and online. Don’t come here unless you want to waste a trip.
First, buying a Sleep Number bed is a process. You have to be schooled on what the beds do, their differences, how to determine your sleep number and which model best fits your budget and sleep style. Gregory took his time, making sure we had everything we needed to make the correct decision on the sleep number bed. There are almost always financing options and in-store offers that are better than the online sites. Cant wait to get ours!
Our salesman was Steve T and he is a dream to work with. No high pressure, very knowledgeable, and a perfect gentleman. I am so glad we were fortunate to get such an excellent and knowledgeable sales person. He even showed us the various layers that make up the bed and explained the purpose of each one. He made sure we understood and had answered all of our questions before he proceeded to explain other features of the Sleep Number Bed system. This young man is a true asset to the Sleep Number company and I hope he is duly recognized and appreciated for being such an excellent and patient salesman.The next day when I setting up the bed on my tablet I ran into a snafu where I could not get past one of the pages. I telephoned the store and Steve was off, but the gentleman who took my call investigated and gave me the correct number for technical assistance. I called this number and was assisted by Nick. The service I received from Nick was every bit as excellent and professional as the service I received from Steve T. Nick was very patient and he pin-pointed my problem and walked me through the entire process to make sure everything was working properly. Not only was Nick very knowledgeable, but very patient as well. Kudos to Sleep Number for ensuring that their employees who treat customers like customer instead of a chore. In todays times its refreshing to be treated with respect and I was never made to feel stupid or inept.
We are extremely Happy With our New Sleep Number Bed. Our Salesperson Matt was Great He answered all of Our questions. What Impressed me was the way Matt said call us anytime if you have a question. We had a Older model Sleep Number for almost 15 Years. This new Bed is so wonderful to be able to use Our Cell Phone to track Our sleep pattern.

I sold mattresses in Williamsburg for over four years. The biggest complaints and returns for my sales was the return of the sleep number bed. You had to pay to return it, wait weeks before they got you a new one. Without this inferior product I would have made half the money that I had made. Look at the return policy and the cost because you make this terrible mistake. Your best bet is a bed in a box from any reputable retailer. Stop paying commission to sleazy reps whose commmission pays leases for million dollar stores. After finally leaving this corrupt industry, I can finally sleep at night.
Great salesmen!I didnt feel pressured to purchase, my salesman Steve followed up with meand kept me abreast to future sales and even suggested other models to find the best possible deal that would not compromise our wants and needs.
Sales staff is very helpful. Beds are the price of a smaller, new car. $8,000 is midrange. If you are in that price range, might be the place for you.
I recently (about a month ago) went into the store in Williamsburg where I was greeted by Steve T. I was a bit apprehensive at first before actually entering the store but my concerns of bed shopping were quickly alleviated. Even though it is a business, I was made to feel welcomed as if it was his house and I was visiting. We didnt really know what to expect as a whole but we definitely got more than we expected. Its not often that youre treated with respect that goes beyond a business level but respect on a personal level. While we were talking at the beginning, he suggested that we try to find our number that we would sleep on. He mentioned that doing so may eliminate a bed or two and might even help guide us to the proper bed for our needs. When that was said, thats when he truly hit the respect level with us because we knew he wouldnt push the most expensive thing on us but would help guide us to the right bed for us. We had some common grounds with having surgeries so there was even talk of raising my legs while I sleep. He didnt guarantee that would solve the issue but if it could help even the slightest bit then it would be worth it. We had a budget in mind for any bed we picked out whether it was there or somewhere else but when we tried a couple of the beds and heard how much he cared in solving or at least trying to solve some of our health issues then we started to consider a little higher budget as having our back and legs raise was not in our original thinking when working on our budget. After finding a bed that we fell in love with, he said he would be right back to make sure he isnt missing anything on the price but to also give us a couple minutes without him so we can talk family talk. He mentioned the zero percent financing and said he would work up what type of customized sleep solution we could have. When he showed us that, it was approaching what we could do financially. One thing he mentioned was that it was better to spend a little bit more money than we wanted than less than what we should. I asked what that meant and he explained that the loss in our daily performance because of not sleeping good was costing us much more than this and that yes it could be a little lower on the money if we went to the mattress a little less than what we picked out then we wouldnt be accomplishing what we came here to do. He would ultimately order it for us but made it clear (politely) that although we would still have a better sleep, we would have an even better sleep based on the bed picked out and based on our sleep numbers. He said he would step away again for a couple minutes for us to consider it and that he knew that whichever bed of the two we decided on would be the best choice for us based on our unique situation. I asked him how he was able to have so much patience with us and he said that we werent a bother at all and that if he was able to wait all day in the military then he could wait for us. Its crazy to have someone care about you basically as soon as they meet you. I know who we will be sending anyone we talk to about our new bed that we bought that day. Thank you Steve even though I dont think thank you is enough for what you did in the military and what you do for people now.
Very knowledgeable staff who take time to learn what you want instead of pushing the top-priced item first. Would recommend them to everyone!
Buy some where else Williamsburg has a luxury tax my bed came from Richmond an was $600 cheaper..... that’s a couple extra sets of sheets $
