If you’re shopping for a new bed, you might want to head straight to The Original Mattress Factory (across from Walmart in Williamsburg). I had the best shopping experience EVER recently. The Salesman, Tom McDaniel, was extremely professional, thorough, and not at all pushy. His follow through from start to finish, can’t be beat. And, their prices are very competitive. I’d visited four other mattress shops who tried to “hard sell” me, so it was a delight to find Tom. Their products are made nearby in Virginia Beach. I’d highly recommend working with Tom at The Original Mattress Factory.

We went to every mattress store in Williamsburg and this was the best place to shop! The employee that helped us was very nice. He gave us a short lesson about how The Original Mattress Factory makes their mattresses and then showed us a few mattresses he thought we would like based on what we told him we were looking for. After showing us each mattress, he would walk away and busy himself with something at his desk so that we didnt feel uncomfortable laying down on the mattresses. He was a great salesman and he knew what to do to make us feel as comfortable as possible. I dont think we will ever buy a mattress from any other store again!

Such a difference from the other mattress places. NO pressure to buy, they just explain the difference. The prices are reasonable, especially for a two-sided mattress, which pretty much doesnt exist anymore. Excellent customer service at this store, anyway. Knowledgeable and truly helpful.

We got our income tax refund and went looking to buy a new mattress, went to 5 stores total that sell mattresses. This was a better experence. First they told us to check out the other mattress stores FIRST, (We did) for quality, price, manufacture etc. No other store came even close. You even get a class on how their mattresses are made, this company makes and sells a high quality product made in the USA, no cheap Chinese knockoff here. The sleep quality is excellent, and I am pleased. I wanted a mattress I could FLIP from time to time, those type of mattresses are hard to find nowadays, A person can spend a amount equal to a used car payment on a good mattress and dont forget you spend 1/3 of your life sleeping. WHEN YOU CAN BUY THE BEST AND AND AT A GOOD PRICE, GET THE BEST YOU CAN AFFORD. I am VERY PLEASED with my mattress purchase!

Have bought from Original Mattress Factory for years and love their mattresses and the fact that you can flip them.

The mattress I purchased was fine. My problem is that I had paid to have the old mattresses hauled off . The salesman said they had to be sanitary. When the delivery people came they refused to take the mattresses because the box spring had torn fabric and the mattress had a small stain on it. It is very difficult to dispose of old mattresses. I have two more sets of mattresses to purchase this summer but it will not be from the Original Mattress Factory as I feel like I was misled.

This was the best shopping experience I have had in years. I traveled to the Williamsburg store because I encountered a very unprofessional salesman at the Mechanicsville store. The difference was like night and day. Tom McDaniel was exceptional, professional, and very courteous. He made this experience pleasant!
