Went in to transfer a line and get a new phone. I think every single sales rep, including GM, helped us out during our time there. They were the friendliest guys I have encountered in a while! This was the best phone buying experience I have had. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Confirmed there that phone was not restorable. Wasted a day. Ordered a new phone online. This place was completely unhelpful.

Followed by me keeping her posted if I didnt get my new phone or anything other questions I may think of later. Ive always liked this store, never had to go in much. I cant get anyone on the phone anywhere from Verizon Ive called this store and I keep getting put into this loop of just the answering machine and nobody ever picks up I just want to know if you have a phone in stock so Im not driving over an hour to get there to find out you dont I need it for business today very very frustrating

I highly recommend visiting this Verizon Store in Williamsburg. It is a Corporate Store which has Verizons standard of excellence. Its hard to tell them apart from the outside so I recommend going online to find out. I had a major problem with an Authorized Retail Store (franchise) in Gloucester when purchasing a phone and contacted Felicia (store manager) at this location. She was very kind and understanding and resolved the issue quickly. I appreciated her professionalism and will visit this store in the future even though its an hour away from home. Im not saying all Authorized Retail Stores are crooked, theres a great one in Newport News, but make sure you receive a printed document showing total monthly expenses before agreeing to anything.

Hands down the rudest, worst customer service experience I have ever received, from Timothy, who very brazenly asserted to me he is the manager of this store while he was being rude to me, my family, and another Verizon associate. The story begins with me rushing to a Verizon store after my mother called me from a Verizon store in Orlando, Florida to let me know to get to a store ASAP as this was the last day for buy one get one iPhone 12s (all of the prerequisites For which we met, as we were adding a new line for my sister ) And if I didn’t pick it up today, she would have to get it and activate it there meaning I would lose service on my current phone till she got back 2 weeks from now. they were adding my sisters line and buying her phone there in Florida and I was to pick up the free one at the Williamsburg location, something the Orlando associate said would be noted on my account and I shouldn’t have any issues with, that they could call and verify with my mother if they needed to. I arrived at the store at 4:35, was by the door at 4:40 (store closes at 5:00 PM). After a few minutes, Timothy came outside to greet me and immediately seemed short, and inconvenienced by me. I explained the situation, and that there should be a note on my account, he assured me he had no idea what I was talking about and didn’t see anything under my account and that “that’s not how it works” Thinking I must be explaining something wrong or misunderstanding I decided to call my mother who was still at the Verizon store in Orlando with the wonderful associate she was working with, George . At first my mother attempted to explain the situation to Timothy, he was condescending and appeared to deliberately not want to understand. Rudely suggesting things we were clearly not looking for upgrades, adding ANOTHER new line at the Williamsburg store etc... His demeanor towards my mother was incredibly disrespectful and it’s a miracle I made it out of there without going off on him. The other store even told her they could see where Timothy accessed my account, verifying he absolutely could see everything Orlando could in the system. she eventually passed the phone to the Orlando Associate, George who also explained the situation to Timothy once again. He was also extremely rude to George, blaming him for causing “a negative customer experience”. Timothy did not want to hear any of it however and when left with no other excuses changed his reasoning to be “its 9 minutes before close, he’s not going to get in my store today”. Which is absolutely ridiculous, I was the only person in line and it was 9 minutes before closing AFTER he had argued with the 3 of us and had us explain it to him time and time again, which several times he left me waiting outside while he went in to do other things. If this was holding him up that was his fault not ours. I have over a decade of customer service experience And you ALWAY serve customers that arrived during business hours within reason. It doesn’t matter if it’s 1 hour, 30 minutes or 5 minutes. But that’s besides the point because it was a bogus excuse after he had been told he was wrong by 3 people. Luckily George Saved the day, gave my mom an extra iPhone 12 mini and worked some magic so my current phone could stay active and I can just switch the SIM card when she gets back.Regardless of who was right by Verizon policy is irrelevant. I’m not angry that I didn’t leave with my phone, I’m angry with Timothys unprofessional and rude behavior/attitude. No one in customer service, much less management should speak like that to customers.

Fantastic Verizon cell phone and accessories store. Excellent and immediate service. iPhone and Galaxy phones are well represented here. Lots of phone cases, wireless ear buds and Bluetooth headsets as well. Tablets galore round out their selection. All wrapped in a high-end retail store that is a pleasure to visit. Lots of easy parking right outside the door.

This store provided the worst customer service. Stay away from this place! The rep and the their manager were not knowledgeable, canceled our family plan by mistake, and gave us the run around for the entire day. They knew they messed up but would not admit. They kept telling us they close early, and will not be able to help any further. We left the store with our accounts shut down, and ended up going to an authorized retailer to get our situation resolved later at night. We are escalating this matter to corporate. Verizon should be ashamed to be represented in Williamsburg with this corporate store! Please avoid this place at any cost! If you need any store assistance, go to the other affiliates in town such as the one at Quarterpath.

Went in on black Friday and got some great deals on a few pieces of tech. The staff was relatively helpful. They have a decent knowledge on the devices theyre interested in. Theyre not bad but I wouldnt say theyre the end all to be all. The store is clean and well organized. I also needed to make a return and it was quick and easy. The location is also great.

I visited the store to check out the new Pixel 2 phone. A sales rep greeted me as soon as I walked in. They have both models in the store, so I was able to compare them with other phones. Pixel 2 XL...very nice. And Verizon doesnt add a ton of bloatware to the Pixel phones. Ordered mine right there. The whole process took only 10 minutes from the time I walked in.

After calling ahead, setting an appointment, and selecting a new phone that the salesperson said they had 1, and would hold it for me. I arrived at my appointment time, only to be told the phone I requested was sold. BUT, I could easily purchase a more expensive phone. This is an illegal practice known as BAIT and SWITCH. I not only left angry, but will be reaching out to Verizon headquarters soon about this.

Very disappointed with Verizon Wireless in Williamsburg VA. I called before arriving at the store to ensure that the phone that I wanted to purchase was in stock. Drove 35 minutes to get to the store and you guessed it, phone is out of stock when I get there. The salesman half way through helping me excuses himself to head into the stockroom and reemerged with 2 female associates and the proceed go change a large 6 x 6 cloth sigh in the middle of the store. I guess its completely acceptable to blow off a paying customer to put up signage??? Verizon customer service at the point of sale SUCKS!!!

I am dependent on my phone for business and when that does not work, neither do I. In this case I needed the safety glass changed on my Gslaxy 9+ and while this can be done by the consumer, I chose the higher price exact the store to get professional installation. I am quite happy with the result. Also the glass cover has a lifetime replacement should it crack. Great place to go for help.

I had a good experience at this location picking up a phone I bought online months back. However, today, my account was brought up and handled without me even being present. I have been with Verizon for 6-7 years and have always been the only authorized user on my account. My fiance, who has his own phone plan through another service, visited this location to get a SIM card this evening. The store representative, Tim, asked my fiance for my phone number since he himself does not have Verizon. My fiance, not knowing the reason for my phone number being addressed, gives it to him. This ultimately results in my phone being turned off, while I am an hour away with a bill paid up-to-date. Tim asked for no ID, did not even take the time to see that there are no other authorized users on my account. This was careless and easily preventable. Although just a phone, and not the end of the world, the privacy of a persons account and information should be respected so much more than this representative displayed. Luckily it was a person beknownst to me and not some stranger off the street.

The staff at the store are very helpful and try their best to help on any issues you have. They get rather busy so there is a bit of a wait. But their once they get to you, they totally focus on you and helping with your needs.

KaceyTried to lie and upsell my elderly mother a phone and tablet did not tell my mom the extra charges just the device fees. Thank goodness she called me to check. Then when I suggested a phone she tried to sell her the most expensive phone style instead of the one that was half the price like I suggested. Horrible customer service. Erroneously charged us almost 600 dollars when we switched to T - Mobile before T - Mobile had a chance to pay off the one phone. I called Verizon three times. The third time was to explicitly confirm we were getting refunded. Waited two weeks and noticed we still werent refunded. When I called I learned that they got our money and have zero intention of paying us back. T-mobile agreed to send us the money per contract in lieu of Verizon. Its the principle.... They got our money and thats all that matters. Thanks Verizon. T-mobile service isnt quite as good as Verizo, but very very close and at 1/3 the cost Im not complaining at all. We went from paying almost 300 bucks per month owing on only one phone and unlimited data to 110 bucks a month total with T-mobile under their military plan. And yes.... Its unlimited data. Zero regrets whatsoever and their customer service we found is orders of magnitude better. You actually reach a real live human being when you first call!

Went to upgrade my phone, immediately was bombarded by sales people trying to sell me everything (I get it, its their job). After telling the salesman that was helping me that I wanted a specific phone he pitched to me to do the monthly installment plan. I flat out said no thank you, because I did the math before going there and itd cost double to do a monthly payment. He then proceeded to talk down to me as if I was an idiot and telling me my math was wrong. He pushed the issue, and I said no I would like to just do the flat fee, he then asked what my reasoning was, so I explained and he yet again said I was wrong. I asked for a sales manager to find out he was the manager. Unfortunately I needed a new phone on that day so I said to myself F*** it and agreed after a 20 minute conversation of me telling him no. Extremely unprofessional attitude towards a customer. Now I will be on the phone with Verizon to get them to cancel that payment and switch it to what I wanted in the first place. I will not be going there again... As a side note Im 99% sure this manager was high at the time as well, pupils extremely dilated and very rapid eye movement. And from conversations I heard around me while in the store ID say there wasnt a single happy customer there.

Dont listen to the negative reviews! This store used to be awful. It had a terrible layout, service was slow, and you had to plan half of your day around going there. Theyve fixed all that. They have a nice layout now, the store doesnt feel so crowded. They even added seating with charging stations finally. During my last couple visits, service was prompt, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and strived to give me the best experience possible. The wait wasnt nearly as long as it used to be, and I had reps ask me more than once if I had someone working with me yet. Verizon has always been expensive, everyone knows that before they walk in the door. However, they still have the best phones and the largest network, which is why Ive been with them for many years. Sometimes you have to pay if you want the best!

ABSOLUTELY disappointed in the service we received at this store; not Verizon itself, just this store. We are military and switched two lines over from another carrier in order to take advantage of $400 in promotions. The gentlemen took my military I.D., updated something in my account setup, and told us to expect the prepaid mastercards in the mail in about 8 weeks. Im kicking myself now because I trusted him, and now were not getting the rebates. Apparently, I was supposed to input some promo code (which he didnt give to me) on Verizons online rebate center.Also, we purchased two accessory packages (one for each phone) which consisted of a screen protector, case, and charging device. They were out of the higher quality screen protectors at the time, so they put the cheaper ones on our phones with the promise of swapping them for us when the quality ones came in. They didnt call us when they were in stock THREE times. I know this because each time we called to check on them, we were told they just sold out of them AGAIN. After being yelled at, another employee agreed to call when the next shipment came in. And he did...finally...2 months after we bought the phones. When I went into the store to pick up the screen protectors, he was going to charge me full price for them because we were out of the 14-day exchange window. No kidding! It took you two months to call us! So, when all was said and done, we lost just over $500 in promotional rebates.If you must go to this store (and I never will agin), I strongly urge you to verify EVERYTHING they tell you. Dont be naive like I was.

Very displeased with my visit. Service was decent at best, I initially came in to have my phone serviced under warranty and or the $30+ dollars I spend a month for insurance. When I was helped I was told my insurance did not cover the issue and that my only option was to upgrade to a new device only to find out afterwards that my insurance most certainly did cover the issue. Additionally I told the lady that I did not have a whole lot to spend and only had $100 in which she replied it will not be that much. When ringing me out she had tried to upsale me by including all these accessories that I did not ask for and explicitly told her that I just needed a new phone since they will not honor my insurance nor warranty. Very displeased, spent $160 for the phone, case and some BS insurance that doesnt even cover my phone incase something happens again. I had a much better experience at the Verizon off of Richmond Road

I just had a horrible experience buying a phone. I dealt with a gentleman told me his name was LT. I dropped and broke my phone so i bought a new phone. I ask to buy a phone and a case and to trade motorola z3 for credit. Without my permission he added a car charger/ a charging pad & Insurance to my phone. As well he told me i would not get trade value for my z3. When i looked online it looks like the z3 does have trade in. I noticed the car charger and pad when i got home and promptly called verizon and they had me speak with LT again. i ask to see a receipt and he said they would email or mail me a receipt and the car charger and wireless pad where included with my phone. I did not believe him so i drove up to Verizon and spoke with the person that logged me in. i explained my situation to him and specified i did not want to work with LT again. The individual that logged me told me that the car charger and wireless pad where a bundle with the case. He told me to wait and a representative would be with me shortly. They paired me with LT AGAIN after i asked not too. He refunded the whole bundle. But i now received and email of a receipt and notice he sold me insurance without my knowledge as well. I will be making my 3rd trip now to the verizon store.

I was surprised to see negative reviews for this store. They have been nothing but helpful to me and my family members. Maybe there were some ineffective employees who were replaced, because I appreciate the people who are there now. They answer all your questions, educate you on technology, and are very friendly and professional. The only con is the wait time, but they have many employees and see you as quickly as possible.

You will wait on hold for someone to handle your issue with no triage or prioritization, the time you wait is impossible to predict, and often youre waiting to hear information that could have been provided when you walked in.

I guess theyre helpful, but I only judge salespeople by their looks because Im really over-privileged and judgmental and I know for a fact ugly people dont sell good phones. If you want to be judged by your rich, superior friends as so-so but definitely not the worst theyve ever seen, then shop here. Because we all know ugly means stupid and you dont want a total moron selling you a phone, right?

You get what you need but just be ready to wait. Think they only have 3 ppl working the store. They need more ppl in there for as many customers Verizon has. So if you go dont be in a rush.

Fairly quick service. I had an issue with the sim card in my phone and they got my with a rep Rick within 5 min and fixed it in under 15. Didnt try to sell my anything. Just fix the phone service.

Very fast service. I needed a phone upgrade and had narrowed down to 2 choices. Walked in, only waited 3 minutes before being helped. Associate got new phone set up & everything transferred in about 20 minutes. Note that as with all VZ stores, they add the equipment insurance, so I had to decline after I noticed on bill, I was never asked. Otherwise, 5 stars.

After putting my new phone down with barely any force the screen cracked and became inoperable. I literally purchased this phone from them less than a month ago. When I tried to take it in and explained what happened I was quickly dismissed and told there was nothing they could do and that it was entirely my fault the phone no longer worked... Very disappointed in my customer service, especially seeing as this brand new phone clearly had some manufacturing defect if the screen cracks just from being placed face down on a flat surface... Never doing business with them again!!!

On 6/2, it was so high pressure to buy, buy, buy, that I couldnt think straight. I only went in to add a line for my daughter and upgrade my phone, but came out with over $200 of accessories that I didnt need but got a good phone, free phone for my daughter and a Samsung tablet. Geez, I have never owed on a phone since 2003, but I was made to feel that my old phone was inadequate to give to my daughter and it was only 2 years old...now I have a contract.....yikes. Anyway, 6/3, I went in to return the accessories with no hassle. She was great although she seemed aggravated with my returning all the unnecessary accessories, but handled it beautifully. After this 2 year contract is up, I will no longer be a customer of Verizon. You dont have to confuse customers to get them to buy...well maybe you do? Never again.
