I returned to this store because James Bland explained a promotion the day before. He had input my information and said I qualified for the promotion so I returned the next day expecting a smooth and relatively easy transition. I had to wait 30-40 minutes, which wasnt a big deal. I finally sat down to the desk and I realize I waited so long because he was slow or wasnt nearly as familiar with the process as he was pretending to be (typical of his demographic in this town, though still annoying and inexcusable). Two hours later he cancelled my prepaid account, enrolled me in a post paid for an additional, unnecessary $50 a month and ended up being unable to deliver the promotion he had promised the day before. After over 2 hours of wasted time, James finally admitted his incompetence and asked his colleague, Hunter, for answers. Over walks this rude, greasy kid with an attitude. Most people with jobs shower first, right? Likely to avoid disgusting the customer. Hunter clearly doesnt mind disgusting anyone and, frankly, if he wasnt so rude and gross, I likely wouldnt have been so repulsed by the experience. Ive had Verizon for all but 3 years of my last 20 years of phone ownership, and unless there is someone competent at one of the other stores in town who can at the very least undo what the dirty morons at this wireless zone did, Im taking my business elsewhere because, hard times or not, these guys are just looking to get you to waste as much time and money as possible. Save both. Go elsewhere.

Stop. Do not enter. Go to the Verizon store on Monticello. Try to go in to buy a new cell phone on three different occasions and three days in a row. The same scenario played out. I walked into the store the employees looked up then looked down. There was no conversation. There was no “can we help you?” There was no “what are you looking for there?” There was no “we will be with you in “”X”” amount of time.” There was nothing. The only thing I witnessed with mindless employees staring down at their computers and no engagement with customers whatsoever. Either the store is completely undermanned and the staff is completely overwhelmed or....The staff is poorly trained in basic customer service skills. Again save yourself the time the effort and the disappointment. Go to the Verizon store on Monticello.

We came in to port 4 lines to Verizon. The individual helping us (Gabby) had quite a few problems getting the systems to work. She needed some coaching on which systems to use and what to input on the screens. She had multiple input errors for numbers (IMEI, accounts at old carrier, etc) that caused major delays. Fortunately a regional manager was in the store that day and took over, and got everything completed. Took approximately 2 hours. She had also set us up on the wrong plans, which the manager found and asked her to correct. When I got home and starting setting up online access... found that we still had the wrong plans.. so called back and she fixed that. A Frustrating experience and one I would not recommend to anyone. Then the icing on the cake today.. our first bill, $40/line activation fee, which was not disclosed. When I called to ask about why that wasnt mentioned, her response was she assumed since we were bringing our own devices we wouldnt be charged the activation fee. Verizon thinks differently. My advice if you have anything complex, steer clear of this location
I was recently looking to get on my own plan separate from my parents and had been turned away from the Monticello Verizon store, and I was sent to this location instead. Gabby (the lady helping me set up and figure out what I wanted and was best for me) was friendly from the very beginning. She took good care of me and worked hard to work through the little difficulties we had experienced, and helped me find exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable cost. SO glad I was turned away from Monticello and was sent to this location, will be returning here for further appointments just from my experience with her.
The whole store is a 10! Ive only came here since I started getting phones. Their level of customer service is exceptional. Janice, Jay, and Gabby have been great!
Disappointed in the lack of assistance. From out of town, with technical issue. Didnt want her to fix phone, just wanted info from my account to find nearest Asurion location to fix issues. Was promptly told. I cant help you as this is not a technical store. Think I interrupted a personal phone call.
Swung in this Verizon store to get help switching my Google Pixel to the Pixel 2, Kiana Tyler and her co-worker could not have been any nicer and incredibly helpful. Both phones kept dying and they managed to keep them both running for the transfer of information. I had my 10 month old baby with me and they were helpful keeping him calm as well.
I have been in this store a few times now. Verizon is lucky to have an associate there named Darius Rudd! He is courteous, friendly, professional and expeditious! I will recommend that store to all my family and friends. I will continue to shop at this store because Darius has earned my trust and respect! Well done!! If Verizon has an incentive program for outstanding customer service, Darius should be on the top tier! Thank you Darius for your service and honesty! I will return.
Wonderful customer service, I was helped by an associate named Darius, who was not only patient and easy to talk to (he was able to show he knew what he was doing without making me feel like I didnt know what I was talking about )but also extremely efficient in helping me buy my phone. Even when I wasnt sure what decision to make I told him my concerns, what I needed out of the technology, and what price range I wanted to work with, he was able to easily meet my expectations, and provided overall a delightful experience that I would go out of my way to receive when handling any of my electronic needs.
I stopped by the store for information about upgrading our 2 phones - got the impression I was more an intrusion than a customer. Wont go back.
The service here was phenomenal. My primary contact was Andy, who was patient and thorough as I switched phones to a new brand, then back again to the previous brand. He stayed charming throughout the process (even when customers started to back up). Andy, along with his associates Darius and Jamar, offered help whenever I needed it after the sale. Kudos to them all. This outlet is small, but my experience is that it is not as busy as the Verizon on Monticello.
I yanked out a charger and it broke. They were very nice about returns. Just real sweeties.
This is a great store! I much prefer this store over the Monticello location but that mainly has to do with the staff -- particularly Molly. Molly is one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable associates Ive encountered at a Verizon store since I moved to this area in February. Today I just purchased the iPhone X and she was so helpful in not just the sale sorry, but also with a great tutorial. Make sure you get her to help you when you go because shes well worth the wait.
I had evacuated during the hurricane and my phone died. After going to another Verizon store in the area that was less-than-helpful and didn’t care, I went to this store. They were AMAZING! The salesman, Jamar, met me at the door, introduced himself, was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. He got my phone working without trying to sell me anything and showed me how to do what he’d done to it. I was super excited to have my phone back and because they actually took time to help me, I made another purchase there. I didn’t feel like they were trying to take advantage of my business - they showed me cheaper options along with more expensive ones. I wish they were in my home town, because that one is not good. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE! GREAT SERVICE!!!! See Jamar and Darius to talk to sales people who actually care, are knowledgeable, and want to help!

Great experience at Verizon yesterday. Darius was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on every product in the store. My boyfriend was able to upgrade his phone and learned all the ins and outs of the product to make the best choice possibly. Darius was very friendly and professional. No chance my boyfriend goes to a different Verizon store.
I came into my Verizon store to activate a new number. The 2 Sales reps were wonderful.Darius and Sarah. They worked tirelessly to fix my situation. No help from CORE, Your Fraud dept or your credit dept. It took an hour and a half. One or the other was with me throughout.I finally have a successful conclusion thanks to the 2 of them. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I hope you value them as employees.
Came in with my 7 year old IPhone and left with my Samsung 9s. I am extremely grateful for the excellent service I received from Darius and Molly. As a senior citizen, it was really nice to have Darius explain all the features of the different phones and help me in deciding which one would better serve my needs. Darius also took the time to review my service plan and we updated it to better serve my needs. This individual is good management material. My thanks to him and Molly.

I recently became a Verizon customer & I must say I expected much better. I visited the location on Quarterpath Rd in Williamsburg, Va. Upon entering the establishment there were 3 customer service reps & none of them greeted me when I entered the location. No one else was in the store so they couldnt have missed me walking in. As a matter of fact all 3 of them were sitting at their desk. 1 young lady was tapping on her phone, the other young lady was just sitting there staring off into space, & then there was Darius who was at one of the desk near the door. I shouldve left when I saw the body language of the workers but I really needed to pay my bill & it was along my way home. After no one greeted me, or asked how could they help me, I proceeded to the young lady who was sitting at a desk in the far back of the establishment. I told her that I needed to pay my bill & she directed me to Darius. As I went to pull my money out (as I was told that particular accepted CASH,) Darius told me that location did not accept cash. I left the establishment & called customer service & I was told AGAIN that location accepted cash for wireless bill payments. I dont know where the confusion lies but I dont work for Verizon. I went back into the store & informed Darius of what I was told once again. He handed me a card, & in the midst of me talking to him, he pulled his phone out of his pocket as he walked away from me WHILE I was still talking to him. All Verizon workers should be on the same page & up to date on payment methods. This was a HORRIBLE experience for me. All I wanted to do was pay my bill. I definitely wont be visiting the Quarterpath Rd location ever again. I SHOULDVE STUCK WITH T-MOBILEUPDATE....I WENT BACK TO T-MOBILE
Do not go to this store. This is an “indirect” Verizon store which means they are owned and operated by a third party. They do not have the power or flexibility a direct corporate store would have. Besides that I was told my issue would be resolved by the mananger and that she would get back in contact with me that day and she never did. I highly recommend finding a corporate store and do not purchase anything at an indirect store. Their policies at not the same as Verizon and they do not have to honor corporate Verizon policies. Even with the different policies if the manager would have gotten back to me and not avoided me I would not be writing this review now. I just expected good customer service and good communication. From the moment I walked in the store they tried to make me feel like the issue was my fault. I am an honest person and just looking for honest customer service. Disappointed.
Great experience! Upgraded phone to IPhone X & ended up with a phone that wouldn’t function fully requiring Apple repair services. They readily replaced my phone & provided excellent customer service! First time at this location but won’t be my last.

We recently upgraded our phones and Kendra was extremely helpful. She even drove all the way to Hampton and back to get us the phones we wanted because they weren’t in stock at this location at the time. I was also impressed that she was able to help entertain our five-year-old while we did all the paperwork. I would definitely recommend this Verizon location and Kendra to anyone looking for a new phone or an upgrade.

Everyone at the store is so friendly and helpful. I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon customer service last week and they were never able to resolve an issue I had on my daughter’s phone. I managed to drop my Samsung s8 in the river on the morning of July 4th. This happened to be the only Verizon store open within 30 miles, and Darius Rudd had me back up and running with a new s10 plus within 15 minutes of entering the store. He was very professional and diligent. It was without any question the best experience I have ever had with Verizon.

And yes, this after we recently purchased TWO new Samsung Galaxy 9s at this store AND, been a Verizon customer for about 12 years. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND using this Version location again. AVOID. That young lady needs to be FIRED.
No wait! Friendly associates, didn’t have as many displays as other stores, but if you go in knowing what you are looking for, then this is the place to go! Got the xr all they had was red and blue, didn’t care though, going in a case. Kept looking for discounts and deals. Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time and I will not go back. Customer service seems lacking. Walked in and no one not even a Verizon employee was in there. A blonde girl came in and just sat in the chair not even saying here have a seat or anything. I asked about my iPhone and the girl rudely basically told me that battery issues werent Verizons fault, it was Apples fault. OK, be a little more professional about blaming the other company. She then argued when I said I preferred how Verizon used to do contracts. She was like it was more expensive to do the contract vs how you pay for it spread out monthly I said no it was actually less expensive, then she said eh, Not really. She spent more time trying to just get me to upgrade (probably so she can get her commission) than being helpful or professional. Also when I said I was going to look at other options she said that this was the only option other than upgrading. OK sorry if I am not going to just jump on an upgrade before calling Apple also to see what they say. Not going back here!
