Today our family payed a visit to Staples in search of a chair to help with comfort for the lumbar region of my husband’s back. Lol. We needed a little help which we did receive from Staples representative Steve. The great thing about this level of customer service from Steve is that he also had the same experience with back issues as my husband. He shared his experience which was a tremendous help for the both of us to foresee soon of what would be the best type of back support with sitting and sleeping. We felt like not so much as customers, but family. We appreciated all his time answering questions and trying to find just the right reclining/chair appropriate for my husband for the time being. My husband is adjusting slowly. Thank you, Steve!!! You are much appreciated.Mrs. Gaines

Terrible experience with a print associate named Justin. Why would a store wait until 3:45pm on the day the customer needs to pick up the order to call about copyright issues? Why does Staples not have a place to upload a print release? I was then told to bring the print release in person, leave it, and come later (but was not told a estimated date and time) for my order. I cancelled and will print elsewhere. Please train your employees better.

Excellent customer service. My laptop stopped charging through its C port, even after purchasing a new charger. I brought the laptop into the store and a tech plugged it in another jack and it started to charge. I purchased a universal charger but it didnt fit my computer. The manager, Steve, was very quick and efficient to return the universal charger. Then, since I needed the computer that same day, he actually gave me their stores charger that fit the second jack. It is normally only available unless you purchase a whole computer. He didnt charge me for it. My computer is still covered by the 2 year protection plan, so I will be contacting Assurion later to see about getting the C port fixed. Thanks so much, Staples, they saved the day!!

I bought a portable, plastic file holder about three months ago.It has 3 latches on each side. I noticed that it was installed wrong today and tried to fix it. Two of the plastic latches broke.In frustration, I threw it down and cracked the top.I brought it in to let them know about the latches, expecting to pay for at least part of it if not all (the two broken latches made it unusable).They gave me a new one without a receipt. Very nice staff.

Brandon, print & marketing associate, helped me to save money when I brought in an item I wanted to return to the store where I purchased it. My box was way larger than the item I was returning and it was going to cost me a lot!hefty amount to send it by UPS - even more expensive to send by USPS! He kindly offered to cut a smaller box for me that fit the item perfectly. I so appreciated what he did and the money I saved. Staples in Williamsburg, VA is truly fortunate to have him as an employee!

THE WORST!!! Time and time again they have proven to be the worst place to print anything. I have shopped here multiple times and this time is my last. Today I walked up to the printing counter and a woman asked me if I needed to be helped. I told her that I emailed them a document to print. She proceeded to turn her back and continue to work on whatever she was working on for the last 10 minutes. I stood there the entire time waiting for her to acknowledge me once again but she never did. I walked up to the customer service area and tops to a manager and he said that they will help me when they were ready. Mind you, I was the only person for customer at the printing station. they disregarded me as a customer so I decided to walk out and will never return. Extremely poor customer service. If you have a customer, stop what you doing and acknowledge and help them.

The print and shipping center is reasonably quick and efficient. Though they have recently stopped taking USPS packages for drop off. The store itself has a wide selection of items, but is missing a selection of basic office supply items (such as triangle pencil grips). A lot of them prices are slightly above average, but if you need a specific type of paper this is the place.

Came in a a busy Sunday afternoon and the employees were helpful and kind. I needed to print an Amazon return label and leave the packages to be returned and in the midst of assisting two other customers as well, I was assisted, given a label pouch for the label, and not even charged for the printing of the label. I feel like office supply stores get a lot of crap because they are often understaffed(not their fault) and people are generally impatient jerks. I was pleased to see the other two customers in the print center being kind and patient with the employees. Great experience, highly recommend.

Purchased an office chair - a nice one - online and paid for assemble. Staples will not assemble the chair prior to shipment. Instead you must make an appointment for someone to come to your home - a week or more after delivery. Unlike most reliable organizations, these technicians dont have to show up even when you have a firm appointment and have taken half a day off from work to accommodate them. Plan on two afternoons off from work if you order assembly. If you want office furniture look elsewhere.

I had an absolutely AMAZING and EXCELLENT experience with this staples. The manager, John, went above and beyond what I would expect any store to do, especially a chain, to help me with my order I inadvertently put in from Hampton Roads (I assumed we had a pick up store here). He really made my day and holidays. It is customer service like this that every business should strive to have. The calendars are also very high quality and the design function was very simple. I only stopped in here to get a soda while my mom shopped in Goodwill, so I cannot comment on services or other supplies. The cashier was friendly, the store was clean, so far as I could see. I had no issues.

Really disappointed. They didnt have most of the items in the school supply flyer and the store was a mess. The cashier asked me if I found everything I was looking for. I said, No, I actually didnt. Her response? Oh. No follow up question or attempt to help. Its a shame. Staples is more convenient than Office Depot, but...

It was my first time going to this Staples. Any Staples for that matter. I already had a preconceived negative idea about this one because of the negative reviews I had read from other people. When I went in, it was very easy for me to find what I was looking for. The store was very organized. After shopping for a while, an associate asked me if I needed any help. And most importantlyn, the cashier accepted the Staples coupons that I printed online for thier Better Binders which comes in all colors. I had a very good experience there and I will be coming back for office needs.

I called yesterday for an computer part, was told it was in after the guy put me on hold to go check for it. I gave him the specifics and even the diffrence between the one I need and the look alike. I went on my lunch break only to discover it was the look alike, when I asked if it would work seeing is how it was very close in design and got the same look you get when asking someone how to disarm a nuclear bomb. They really dont know anything and they all direct you to someone else. But!! atleast when I called they actually did take the time to go check for the part which is more then other stores did including radio shack who said we dont have that part in after I left staples I went over to radio shack and plucked the part off the shelf. Got home and part still didnt fix the problem.. Geesh what a day
