The hand picked nuts were very good, lots of whole nuts, no halves. I really like the spicy nuts, maybe more than the hand picked. We havent tried the rest of our selection yet, but Ill update that later.

If you dont visit this business in williamsburg, you messed up. All kinds of peanuts along with jams. If youre a veteran or senior citizen they do offer discounts. A place you should check out.

There is a lot of great selection and some specials if youre willing to buy more that you went in to buy. There are some really great flavor selections, however, not all flavors are available in all container sizes. The staff was super friendly and I picked up some flavors that really sound delicious, however, I have not tried them yet. Ill update this review of I discover something different about my experience. It is a very nice store. If you love peanuts I highly recommend checking them out.

I appreciated the safety precautions that this store enforces. They lock the door when they are at capacity, have hand sanitizers available, and have one entrance and one exit to encourage one way traffic. I felt like this was the safest store in Merchants Square!Now about the peanuts! We got the Santa Snack Mix and Dark Chocolate covered peanuts. We mixed them together and theyre perfect!! They make great gifts too!

Weve been visiting this shop since 75 and always love coming back. They know how to do nuts right and have adjusted to the tastes of their clients over time, by having low-sodium or creatively flavored nuts like Sea Salt Caramel, PB&J or Wasabi (yes its spicy!) And they will ship anywhere.

I ordered a can of chocolate covered almonds and received a can filled with hundreds of tiny pieces of chocolate with no almonds in them. The almonds that were present were blemished. I notified the company. They said we care about quality control but I was not offered a replacement or even a coupon for a future purchase. Not cool when you pay by weight and premium prices to boot. I did my part by providing the lot and serial number so they could prevent other customers form being disappointed. I cannot recommend the Peanut Shop of Williamsburg. BTW, I called the number posted by the owner, left detailed info with the person on the line. She said corporate would get back to me. Surprise surprise no phone call!

Very nice peanut shop in Colonial Williamsburg. They have all kinds of peanuts. One of my favorites is the bacon flavored ones. Plus the chocolate covered ones are yo die for. Really good cinnamon and horsehound candies as well

If you want anything with nuts in it then you must visit The Peanut Shop located in downtown colonial Williamsburg. We bought several varieties to try, the dark chocolate Almonds were very good but the best was the Pecans, best I have had. We will be repeat customers.

Some of the most delicious chocolate-covered Kosher nuts this side of the Atlantic! They’ve also got a great selection of salted nuts, plain nuts, caramel-covered nuts, and even wasabi-covered nuts. In non-COVID times they offer free samples, and the place serves as an attraction of its own, but for now they are responsibly only offering “take out”. The location is in a beautiful section of Historic Williamsburg, and it’s well-worth exploring the surrounding areas. Overall, this place is nuts! ;)

My family and I have always loved this company and that has only improved. We moved away from Virginia and we’re sure to stop by anytime we’re back visiting. Recently we ordered online and one package was not delivered( no fault at all from this business). I sent an email to Williamsburg Peanut Shop just to make sure I had the correct tracking information to make a claim. I spoke with Stephanie who instead told me they were sending another package free of charge. Great customer service and thoughtful. I highly recommend Williamsburg Peanut Shop!

Variety of flavors and types of good sold here, not only peanuts. They have the best malt balls and peanuts by far. We got the crab salsa this time but we will get the garlic ginger sauce and horseradish spread when we visit next. We even got our dog a bone that he loves for 3.99!

The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg has a vast variety of peanut flavors. Each flavor is available to taste. There are also Teas, Jellies and other snacks and novelty items. Worth a visit.

The overall customer service, and cleanliness of the shop was very good. However, the peanuts fell short. I bought the chili lime, crab, jalapeños flavored, and chocolate covered almonds. The chili lime fell short in the flavor department, can hardly tell they are chili lime. Which brings me to the jalepenos flavored, complete disappointment. They’re not spicy at all, nor is there a hint of jalapeño They taste like salted stale peanuts. Next is the crab, the old bay flavor is strong almost too much, but pretty good. The only perfect nuts were the chocolate covered almonds. Wish I would have bought a couple tins of those.

A must-visit for locals and tourists alike. Virginia peanuts in every configuration you can imagine, and then some! Great store to taste a free sample of their goods, browse around and head out the door with some for friends and family. Plan to leave with at least 3 cans since they always have some special going. The product is very high quality and will have you coming back for more.

Really miss the option of trying the peanut flavors before buying them! Also, make sure to check the expiration date and open the peanuts before you leave the area. I got a full can of stale Spicy Bloody Mary peanuts that I paid top peanut prices for.

This place is really fun. Not only do they have all these different kinds of nuts, but they have samples of almost everything so you can be really sure which items youd like to buy. They also have some home decor items (I got my niece this really pretty fox mug, as she adores them and I saw someone else purchasing one as well)candies, and a fridge filled with really unique sodas such as bacon and pb&j. Love, love, love visiting Williamsburg. The Peanut Shop is one of the reasons. Their peanuts are fantastic. We sometimes go down just to get their peanuts.

We have shots here for decades. After Christmas, it is very nice to get 50% off cans with Christmas decorations. We also like to get Colonial Williamsburg root beer and ginger beer. If you catch them before the last hour before closing, they let you sample many of their flavors of peanuts, plus a few condiments.

ADORE this store and think of it as a required stop during any trip to Williamsburg! Lots of samples that will tempt you, making purchases inevitable. Peanut flavors include Honey Mustard, Dill, Curry, Chocolate-covered, and many more. The Chesapeake Bay Snack Mix is a family favorite. They have a variety of other gourmet foods, as well, such as soup kits, jams, pancake mixes, etc. Most items have a long shelf life, so we stock up and use them for months as treats for ourselves, and as gifts for others. If you come often, be sure to get a frequent-buyers punch card so you can earn free merchandise.

I always visit this store when Im in the area. They have n amazing selection of assorted nuts, salsas, jams, etc. The prices are on the higher side, but everything in there is worth its price. You can find great gift ideas here, and theres something for almost everyone. The staff is very friendly, and more than helpful with assisting with any needs or getting you checked out.

I purchased Peanuts and they have been stale every time. Be aware of sales the peanuts are not fresh..... A total waste of money they used to be good in the past but they are not at this time and they will not even refund the money in some case....

This place is awesome if you are the person who goes nuts over nuts. They have different varieties of peanuts(and also other nuts), ranging from very spicy to the sweet(chocolate) one. I picked some spicy peanuts from here.You could actually walk into the store just to sample their peanuts and leave with your stomach filled. They do have some interesting stuff that would add to your home decor. The lady at the counter were nice and would swiftly replace an empty peanut trial box with another.The peanuts are pricy but it is good to carry some back home. Not to mention its goodness on a long drive back home :)

The store itself is great but one young girl at the counter was very rude I wish I would have caught her name and if I wasnt already waiting in line for10 mins and running late for lunch I would have complained to her manager. My husband loves this shop and we go visit everytime we visit this area. You can sample the nuts before you buy them. His favorite is the Peanut Brittle. Stop by and try some and then take some home for later.
