I had two storage units and both where under weather control climate. We came today to pick our furniture and all the furniture had mold. My husband went inside the office to talk to Sheryl and she told him that they were not responsible for the mold. I called her and she said that they never lost power inside the unit that is impossible that my furniture had mold. She repeated herself saying that they were not responsible.I called customer service and requested to talk to the district manager and open a case regarding this issue with my furniture. If I pay more money a month for climate control is not to have all my furniture ruined! The customer service at this location is terrible. If you are considering store your values here look somewhere else. If you decide to store them here dont pay the extra money on weather control because your furniture will be damaged.

Up until the day I moved out I was satisfied with my experience! The staff was always nice to me and helpful and the units were clean. I didnt come that often but when I did everything seemed ok with the my unit and the heat or A/C was on since it is climate controlled. But on the day I came it was 94 degrees all day and the building my stuff was in was 85 degrees. Plus sitting in front of another building appeared to be a homeless person or urban traveler. That person sat there for 2 hours as we were loading our truck but I dont know if they could have went in our truck. At one point they disappeared into the building and by the time we were leaving they reappeared. Anyways all Im saying is if Im paying for climate control then why wasnt the A/C on. The maintenance guy who lives on the property was nice enough to turn it on when I went to tell him it was off. Williamsburg has a big homeless community and if they are renting a unit to live in its not my problem if thats the reason why they didnt have the air conditioning on. My stuff could have gotten moldy.
