Great food and vegan options. First place I have been to that offers Just Egg! Loved the everything bagel. We were visiting from out of state and stopped by this location twice - both times service was very slow, they seem understaffed 🤷 The first visited several waited 20 minutes and it was only us and one other order that came after us. If they could get their staffing situation worked out, theyd definitely be 5 Star!

I have heard so many amazing things about Beach Bagels, and my friends absolutely love their options!Unfortunately, after recently discovering that I have Celiacs Disease, it is difficult for me to find a bagel in the Wilmington area with a similar consistency of a those delicious NY bagels. The Gluten Free bagel that I tried at Beach Bagels was, personally, not the best quality I have ever had... it was quite dry, very hard, and grainy.The reason why I give Beach Bagels a 4/5 is because I know my family and my friends absolutely love this location, and we will always be back - but I do wish that there was a better Gluten Free option available.

Non-existent service! 6:50am, One other person (who was waiting for their bagel) and I in the place the entire time - I was glared at three times, then asked twice you have a take-out - No, Id like to order. - stood at the register for 8 minutes until one of the two employees behind the counter begrudgingly stepped up to the register - no words, just another glare. I was in the place 25 minutes just to get a mediocre egg bagel to go - barely made work on time. Similar experience twice before - 3 strikes!Will never return. Thankfully, there are better alternatives in town.

Do not recommend- the wait was well over an hour- they take call in and door dashers first over in person orders.The bridge was up when we arrived, and the bridge was up again when we were leaving.No management seemed to be present - And the place was completely filthy it needs to be cleaned. Not a very good establishment and do not recommend I would rather drive to Carolina beach or monkey Junction for a better bagels and better service.

The best bagels Ive eaten. The toppings cover the entire bagel (no bottoms on the bagels....all tops). They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Friendly staff and quick service. The girl with the batman tattoo was incredibly kind and helpful. I will return. WONDERFUL!

Wow!!!! What an incredible bagel! The wife and I chose this place on the first day of our trip to Wilmington and have come back every morning since. The Jalapeño Business is one of the best breakfast sandwiches/bagel I’ve ever had! I’ve never had jalapeño on a breakfast sandwich but now I’m not sure I can go back. I recommend getting it on their everything bagel. As others mentioned, the seasoning is all over both sides of the bagel and it is GLORIOUS! Their pimento cheese, chorizo, red onion, and egg are all so tasty!!! Their others bagels are great too, I also recommend the original bagel with strawberry cream cheese. It’s a tasty bagel and not a bad price. Line is really long. It’s just one of those places that everyone goes to. A true Wrightsville Beach staple. I’d go again if the line was shorter. Be prepared to wait.

Cuban de Miami tasted like cumin and not much else. Fountain unit was out of 2 flavors and in need of cleaning/repair. Some staff members wore their masks under their noses.

I believe the employee was new and training. Caramel Macchiato did not taste any caramel. When questioned there was no offer to redo or add caramel. Just stated it was in there. My coffee tasted burnt. Opened bagels after leaving and mine did not have cream cheese. No time to go back. The actual bagel however was fresh and well made.

Normally I really love this place, it’s close to my work and I like the availability to order online. However I highly don’t recommend going on the weekends as it took them 55 minutes to make my online order and every weekend there is a minimum of a 45 minute wait. Then I was treated disrespectful from the staff after I had been standing and waiting for over 25 minutes. I was very disappointed with them and will not be returning anymore. There bagels are delicious and affordable which is why I gave them a 2, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend going.

If youre a vegan looking for a quick breakfast. This is your jam! They serve a good amount of vegan options, as well as an amazing cashew spread! Here I got the jalapeno bagel with the just egg and daiya cheese slice. Really good! Staff was eager to help. Definitely be back! :)

The absolute worst. Ordered online an hour in advance and still waited another hour when I arrived. They were trying to handle catering orders during the Saturday morning rush. I’ve come here for years but this is my last visit. It literally took 2 hours to get 4 bagels. Maybe you shouldn’t offer online ordering if you can’t handle the volume.

Obviously popular with a line out the door. Full menu was only on the phone. Inside menus did not list cream cheese options. Out of everything bagels for the day at 9. Did not have the cream cheese option listed on their electronic menu that I requested. Have some interesting cream cheese options like cheddar jalapeno as well as some interesting breakfast sandwich options. Thought the bagels were better t h.g an Breuggers but not as good as Bodos if that helps.

Ordered online and waited the requested 30 mins before coming to the shop. Had to wait an extra 20 plus mins after arriving at the shop before we got our food. They hadnt started the order untill we arrived. People who ordered after us in store got their food before they worked on our order after we were standing there. I dont recommend ordering online its better to just order in store youll get your food faster.

Seaside bagels has such a better bagel. They’re my favorite. Even Mr. Bagel Meister is better than this place. Empire Deli’s bagels are pretty darn good also, just too out of the way for me. The bagels at Beach Bagels are small, have no flavor, and the quality of the turkey is low. I get the same exact thing for $2 less at Seaside and all of their ingredients are delicious!The girl at the register at Beach Bagels was really nice though :)

I went in this morning 10/03/18, asked for 2 plain and 1 orange cranberry. 1 plain was hard the other was not, the cranberry was even harder and smaller. This was my 3rd time patronizing beach bagels and my last. Service could be better, I’m pretty sure the girl gave me dayold bagels.

One of the first things I ever do when I walk into a restaurant is pay attention to the attitudes and temperament of the staff. This place is hopping so I try to take that into account. Everyone working there on 9/5/2020 at 10am had a bit of an attitude. This includes the manager. She had a huge attitude which could of course pour onto the people working under them. If the food is on point it might actually ease the blow but I cannot say that it was. I ordered a plain bagel and an onion bagel with cream cheese. Both were just ok. To be honest the bagels you buy in the refrigerator section of the local grocery store are just as good. The onion bagel tasted more like a slightly burnt onion bagel. Dont go out of your way to stop here. At least not if you expect friendly service.

The bagels are delicious but the service is what ultimately resulted in a 1 Star. I ordered online and the wait time was 40 minutes. This was fine and other friends and I went to look at some shops in the meantime. We came back exactly 40 minutes later and expected our orders to be in the pick up bin. They were not. People were stuck waiting outside and inside for pick up orders but besides that the shop was relatively empty. The kitchen staff assembling the bagels in the shop were bickering back and forth - obviously stressed out about how behind they were and also blaming their manager or possibly the owner who was at the front taking names for pick up orders. He told my friends and I it would be another 20 minutes for our bagels. (Now an hour wait). After waiting in the heat for 20 minutes, I walked back in and nothing was ready yet. A bunch of pick up orders were on the table but he refused to read off any names and lots of customers were asking where their orders were. He was extremely scattered and kept asking for our names, leaving, and then coming back and saying my friends order was coming. Finally I took matters into my own hands and took our orders off the table where they had probably sat for awhile. Who knows how long it would’ve been if I hadn’t spotted them. The owner or manager told a customer who asked how the pick up process worked that “he would handle it once he had a minute to read off names”. In all of the time that I waited there he never read off any names, which would have made the process so much easier. The receipt had the employee name who took the order and the customer name and I think he was honestly confused about that because he ended up giving my friend the wrong order. He was more concerned with stapling the receipt onto the order and then going back into the kitchen area to talk with his stressed employees. My friends and I also ordered drinks with the bagels and didn’t even receive them. At that point we were fed up with waiting and just left without our coffees. It was an awful experience and no one even apologized for the fact that we had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for 4 simple bagels. I would never go to this location again.

Love all their locations. Due to the fact that I’m a door dash driver and have to pick up food from all 4 location I have to say, the service is outstanding. The employees are more than helpful and always super nice. And as a customer myself: the food is delicious, you always get what you order and the girls in the store are always super nice.

I have never made a review in my life and this place sucks so bad I felt I had to. This is the worst place I have ever been. Took 2 hours to get 6 bagels and I didn’t even get half my order. Staff and management was extremely rude. Will never ever come back here and would never recommend this place to anyone, the food isn’t even good.

I was a little unhappy with my trip this time as I was denied in the later hours of breakfast a dozen of bagels even though its a menu item. They had plenty of bagels and just had a couple sheets just come out of the oven. Still provided them with business just a little disappointed. All around a good place!

Great menu, efficient streamlined service. My only suggestion would be to make sure the coffee is available during the morning rush! Was there at 9ish and they were so busy no one had time to make the coffee!!! All blends were out! We waited for about 10 min and the problem was solved so no biggie!

I placed an order inside with the brunette girl who took my order but didnt inform me of how long it was going to take. Beach bagels is known to either be quick or not so quick at all. If it will take 2 hours to make my order, thats fine, just tell me whats up. I could have asked but didnt. Considering the high variances in their ETAs, you would hope they would give you an estimate. It was busy but dying down and I stepped outside to wait. This, however, was not the eff up. I went back inside to wait for my order in the area where only people who ordered in-person wait for their orders. I was not in line so I was not placing an order nor was I in the pickup area for online orders. I was very obviously waiting for an order I had already placed in-person. I continued to wait as I noticed 4 people who arrived after me receive their orders and leave. Now heres the eff up, the brunette girl who took my order was mulling about behind the counter as I was in clear view in her line of sight. I was very clearly trying to make eye contact with her or get her to acknowledge me but she purposefully ignored any attempt. If the person who took your order, sees someone obviously waiting for something, and can easily recognize you as that someone whom she took an order from, you would assume your order just isnt ready yet because homegirl took my order, sees me, but hasnt given me anything yet. Nope. After the 4 behind me left, I went up to the register, to a different girl, she asked me for my name, and of course my order was sitting back there nice and piping lukewarm. Even if she didnt recognize my stunning good looks, you would hope someone working in a restaurant would ask someone who just walked in and just stands there if he or she needs help with anything. Maybe this girl had a crush on me and was too nervous to speak up and tell me to stop waiting there like a fool while my food was sitting right there, or maybe I didnt powder my nose right and she was too repulsed by the way I look. Great food though! Highly recommend!

I dont entirely blame the employees for this bad rating, but the whole store was just tremendously unorganized. The music the girls had playing on the line, was making it so the cashier couldnt hear what the customers were saying, and the plexiglass wall in the masks didnt help. I myself personally watched her write down four peoples names that were wrong. The organizational skills were poor, because I was running a doordash, and I waited nearly 40 minutes for something thats supposed to be quick, which is a bacon egg and cheese bagel. They kept having to scream at the guests which looks terrible, which isnt their fault. But it doesnt change the fact that they still had to do it. they kept taking orders even when they were completely overrun, which coming from years in the restaurant industry its like a double-edged sword and I understand that. But when they are that bogged down, they shouldnt have kept taking orders. They should have gone on a wait, or at least waited a little.

Get another phone line. Its like $5 a month for an additional phone line. If you try to call in an order you always get a busy signal for over 10 minutes before getting through. I just had to call 105 times to get through. I wouldnt mind being on hold for 10 minutes. Im not calling multiple times in a row again.

Bagles were decent. Service was horrible. The one in charge had no clue. Took 30 min. plus to get our food. Most orders I witnessed were wrong. Suggest make a change, tell people there is a wait, Text when order is ready then come in and get it. The owner should make sure every bag has the right stuff.. small things like that go a long way.

Love the bagels but hate the wait. Placed an online order this morning around 9am with an expected pick up time of around 9:35am. Sat inside until 10am to get my food. They didn’t bother to even give us cups. 10/10 would recommend if you want to waste your morning away.

Tbh, Im not impressed. From being put on hold for over 5 minutes, hanging up, calling right back only to be put back on hold, then finally getting a hold of someone to take my order, and THEN them giving/forgetting me far less food than what I had ordered and paid for. For the price we pay for high quality food, we get terrible service. So frustrated with it today I didnt even care to deal with resolving it. Im sorry, but itll be the last dollar I spend there. Smh

I had an awesome experience here! The staff was super friendly and attentive. They made my order very quickly and were jamming to music while doing it. Just make sure to where shoes and a shirt because I typically go after the beach and they are hesitant to serve you without the proper attire.

I would give no stars if I could. I spent 2 hours from start to finish ordering from this place & waiting on my food that never came. I tried to speak to someone and they wouldn’t stop to talk to me. I have a $20 charge from them now that I don’t know how to reverse bc I never got my food and the phone line was always busy.

I just went into the store. Nobody is wearing a mask, not even in the kitchen. How disrespectful towards your customers especially when the states cases are spiking. You have no idea which one of your customers could die from the virus just from your ignorance. No thanks. Won’t be coming back.

The bagels are great, but this place is so poorly managed. They have 6-7 people working behind the counter and some how it still takes 30+ min to get my food every time. Today was the third time I have been here and it was probably the least busy I have seen it. Still a decent line, but I waited forever for my food. Multiple people waiting a long time while they have phone orders made and bagged.

The Jose may be the best breakfast sandwich Ive ever eaten. As a jalapeno lover I feel like it was made just for me. Great sandwiches and breakfast selections in a small cafe style restaurant. Excellent bagels with a great selection of flavors and fillings. They also have a great social media presence and keep in contact with their customers base

They also have a wonderful menu of breakfast and lunch lunch options and a great selection of bagel varieties, including the hard-to-find jalapeño.Cream cheese varieties are delicious, loved the apple-crumble. Service seems to be always smilingly efficient. Location, right before the beach, is perfect for early risers.

Excellent bagels... many choices. Fabulous menu on huge blackboard. I enjoy having coffee and bagels to start my day. Very popular spot. Lots of locals can been found here. Say hello to manager Kim. She always greets each customer with genuine politeness.

You know, for having such a steady stream of customers every time Im here, not once has anyone working here greeted you with a smile. Maybe youre the angry New York bagel guy but come on guys. I try bagels everywhere I go and these are some of the very best I have ever had. Light (but not too light) inside with a wonderful crispy (but not too cirspy) outside! Bought a bunch to take home with me.

Any time Im in Wilmington My husband and I make sure we come here for breakfast. The best place for a simple bagel to a fully loaded bagel breakfast. Never had anything taste so good and their service is amazing!!!

I go to Beach Bagels on Wrightsville every Saturday morning and Im never disappointed. Everyone that works there is super cool and the food is the best. Best bagels in town!!

Just had a very bad experience at the Oleander location. We arrived at 1:15 with the intent to purchase 6 everything bagels. We were told, despite the fact they had over a dozen in the basket, that we couldn’t have 6. The girl up front asked someone, who I assume was the manager, and she was told that we could only have 3 everything and 3 of something else since they’re having a late rush. Not sure when that rush would be since they close in 45 minutes. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I’m a manager at a retail store and it makes no sense to not sell an item to the customer who’s there now so you can hold it for someone who might show up before you close in less than an hour. If they are saved for a specific order I could understand but they should have pulled them so it’s not on the floor for customers to see. Or if we had shown up closer to closing and they had been out of them, that makes sense because things are sold first come first serves. We will not be returning to this location and probably not the business in general. That’s terrible customer service and there’s no excuse.

The bagels should’ve been out of this world for the price we paid and the line we stood in. It’s definitely average. I think it’s more of the name and the hype. I wasn’t impressed with the taste of my food.

Beach bagels serves a delicious house made bagel but at a cost. Service and long wait times are always terrible, my order has not been correct the last 6 times we have ate there. Used to be our Sunday morning ritual before work but we have found ourselves going elsewhere.

Beach bagels is seriously the bomb! The José is definitely a favorite and anything on the salt bagel is awesome. And yeah, on weekends the line can get crazy long but thats just because its delicious and worth the wait.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The bagel sandwich was reasonably priced and made to perfection. Highly recommend to others.

Its hard to find a good bagel place in North Carolina. We came across Beach Bagels on the last day of our trip and we enjoyed it. Maybe next year well try it again upon our return to the area.

Popular place with inside and outside seating - a short drive from the shore with a varied menu from bagels to breakfast / lunch items including a delicious, gluten-free sandwich with avocado and Swiss cheese that I always get. My family loves the bagels. Service has always been good and quite friendly, even when busy. The facility is clean as well.

Just tried Beach Bagels for the first time. I typically buy a dozen bagels at a time and always enjoy the bakers dozen custom. Though the bagels taste good enough and I like the size they require you to buy cream cheese to get the 13th bagel. As their bagels are pretty pricey to begin with this seems petty. Sorry I strayed Mr. Bagel Meister.

I’ve called for 2 days now, once at 12 and once at 10. They close at 2 so 12 is a little late, but each time they have been out of Asiago bagels. This establishment needs to gear itself better for the needs of its customers through the posted hours......
