Placed my order, watched 3 other people order AFTER me, watched them let someone order the exact bagel I ordered and had me switch my bagel out. They made that persons sandwich before mine and mine was a very easy sandwich… I’m not sure if they don’t know how to follow the order in which orders come or if this was a skin color thing as I was the darkest person in the establishment. Seems to me my money doesn’t spend the same as the other woman’s. Will not be returning and I am disputing the charge.

This place is a hidden gem. We have eaten here several times now and absolutely love the people that work there and the bagels! My child has a tree nut/peanut allergy and they are very attentive to her needs. They make sure everything is wiped down and not cross contaminated. Super nice owner and the food is fabulous!

It was pretty good, had a good variety of sandwiches that looked good and I enjoyed mine. Wish the bagels were a little softer - kind of average bagels but they do good things with them.

Waited 30 minutes for my order of 2 bagels. Very unorganized service and staff. Cashier kept touching her hair and then she would go help kitchen staff cut bagels. Will not be returning again.

The staff here is so kind and the food is always great quality! Homemade bagels that will make you come back! They make it for you as you put in your order so the bagels are freshly toasted and warm, the bacon is fresh and all the food is always hot. Very busy on the weekends; today was my first experience getting my order slightly messed up (they just overlooked it in the middle of a big rush, very understandable). The staff handled everything perfectly; they immediately made my bagel and had me out the door in a couple minutes with my money back. I am never someone to ask for a refund, so she insisted and I left as an even more loyal customer. Awesome customer service to say the least. Thank you to all the girls & guy in the back working so hard today!

First & foremost...please know that in order for me to score any business or establishment, a 5-Star rating...it has to be something extraordinary. Mr. Bagel Meister did just that & exceeded my expectations on this Sunday morning.FOOD: The Caesar breakfast bagel sandwich. This specific item was recommended by one of the pleasant ladies at the counter...& did so without hesitation. This bagel sandwich consisted of 1 sausage patty, 2 strips of bacon, a generous bottom layer of cream cheese, egg, jalapenos, sweet red onion & hot sauce, all layered in between a sliced (non-toasted) jalapeno/cheddar cheese bagel. The bagel, itself, was perfect!! And I do mean...PERFECT. The bagel bread consistency was soft, but yet...still firm & had no chewiness whatsoever. The baked-in jalapeno & cheddar cheese gave the bagel a spicy kick but wasnt too much heat. Perfectly balanced, perfectly prepared, perfectly baked & just that damn good! The combinations of sweet & savory inside, created an explosion of various flavors that just married well together. Each bite delivers some gradual heat that intensifies due to more jalapenos, sausage spice & the touch of hot sauce...but then is cooled down by the smooth cream cheese & sweetness of the red onion. About a quarter of the way through eating this sandwich, the pores on the top of my head opened up & I could feel the small beads of sweat beginning to form. Although I would normally say thats too hot, it was not the case with this breakfast. I just kept going...washing it down with milk to tame the spicy oils on my tongue. This bagel sandwich was an absolute homerun & will be enjoyed again. On top of this sandwich, I brought home a toasted sundried tomato bagel with vegetarian cream cheese for my wife. She simply stated to me....this bagel is incredible! SCORE: 5 STARS!!!SERVICE: When I first walked inside, I observed approx. 4 others dining with no one else in line before me. I was greeted with a smile as I approached the counter by a young lady, rather than as I entered the restaurant. As a tenured sales manager & trainer for over 15 years, my expectations of my staff were to always greet paying customers, immediately, to create a personalized experience & to show appreciation for their patronage. Besides this particular, missed opportunity...Mr. Bagel Meister excelled. The prep & delivery time for my to-go order was very acceptable & was thanked for my business by John, as I was leaving. SCORE: 4 STARS!!OVERALL SCORE: Mr. Bagel Meister delivers on perfect bagels w/ some surprising combinations of flavor. They also have a diverse, extensive menu that caters to vegans & vegetarians as well. Ill be back again soon & will be sure to bring my wife with me next time. 4.6 STARS!!

Absolutely love this place. The bagels are delicious, the breakfast sandwiches is made of quality eggs and bacon, and the lunch trays are filling and hearty. Sometimes, there will be a bit of a wait, but that’s only because it’s such a great spot. I’ve turned many people onto it and I’m sad I moved back north because this place was my go-to bagel place... and that’s coming from someone from the tri-state area.

This has been my favorite bagel shop in wilmington for a while and I come at least once a week however the past four times I have been here they haven’t had any bagel selections, today when I went there was only one plain bagel left at 10 am, which is my favorite kind because they’re usually really good here and I couldn’t even get it. Last time I came, I asked for my bagel toasted as I normally do and it was burnt. Today I ordered half a dozen and asked her to slice them, she put them on the counter to slice but didn’t and just put them in the bag. I guess she forgot? I also only got 5 bagels and good thing I checked when I got in my car because I had to go back inside and ask for the last one they had forgotten. I don’t know what’s changed but my past few experiences have not been good.

People always make the comparison to NYC bagels. It can be easy to be disappointed by the result. Not this time. We moved here from New England, and have searched endlessly for our new bagel place.This is the one.Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, Mr. Bagel Meister makes PROPER bagels. We went early on a weekend, so I cant speak to the normal foot traffic and how thats handled by staff. The staff moves at a relaxed pace, so you should factor that into your visit. Coffee was pretty good, and was relatively inexpensive.Well definitely be coming back for more.

So good we ate here 2 days in a row. Just please do us and everybody a favor. Train the staff to not sanitize their gloves and just change them out and wash their hands. Also the older lady after answering the phone and touching our credit card touched every bagel on the wall. Yes I know I gave 5 starts the food is that good. Everything else can be changed and or improved on

WOW these bagels are SO GOOD!!! Reasonably priced and the service is fast. We came at 9 am on a Sunday and were a little afraid to try something other then our usual spot but this is closer to our house so we gave it a try and do not regret. The bagels are so crisp and loaded with flavor. Friendly, polite staff as well :)

Found an amazing Breakfast place over at Barclay called Mr. Bagel meister- it was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. My usual go to place is Starbucks- but this place beat it hands down. John does an incredible job in the kitchen - a master chief! - and Lauren did a great job too! Please check them out- you will not be disappointed!! We will be back over there soon!!!

Best omelettes in Wilmington! We’ve enjoyed there bagels many times in the past and decided to order something different today and was pleasantly surprised how good there omelettes are, I highly recommended!

The food is good. The bagels are good. The issue is the timing is poor. Very slow. Bagel spots should be QUICK in the mornings, people have school, work, etc to get too. The girl answering the phone is nice but she takes the order on a piece of paper than types it into the system when she gets a chance. Day two I’ve called in and i waited over 10 mins for a small order. Y’all should have two people at the register. And just typing right into the system to help speed things up.

Nothing better than a pork roll, egg & cheese sandwich to start your day. Plenty of bagels and cream cheese choices. Priced right.

So, I live in Germany and my sister comes to visit frequently. Over this last trip, she decided to bring me a dozen everything bagels (which are my favorite.)I can say, with out a doubt, you have truly amazing bangles. Even after traveling 5k miles, they tasted fresh and delicious.

After fasting for blood work at Wilmington Health I ask the nurse for a recommendation for breakfast. She recommended I go to Mr. Bagel Meister which was across from their medical office. Mr. Bagel Meister was very clean and they offer a large selection of breakfast sandwiches. Being hungry I ask the owner for a suggestion and he said the Triple Double will satisfy me. The sandwich was hot and plentiful and very delicious. I did not know this gem was so close to me. It is now my go to place for breakfast or lunch.

What it lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in good bagels. Service is always good, prices fair. I wish they had better beverages. I think its weird that the lox and bagel comes with tater tots.

I have to agree that the bagels here are delicious, but the service is horrible. Our office has gone here for breakfast probably 5 times over the past 2 weeks and they have YET to get an order correct!! We are always missing food when we get back to the office, or what we ordered isnt prepared correctly. It is so frantic in there because they are so busy, and I understand that. But come on guys...you have to get the orders right!!!

It was clear they have untrained staff. The staff were unprofessional and were rude not to me but each other. The kind lady up front was shaking after another employee called her out on a simple mistake. From my understanding the mistake was on the aggressor not the casher. ALSO THE TIPS GO STRAIGHT TO THE OWNER NOT THE EMPLOYEES. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. I DONT RECOMMEND SUPPORTING THIS BUSINESS.

My family loves bagels, so we were excited when we found out that Bagel Meister was opening up at the Point since we live close by. My daughter is vegan and is happy that they offer options for her. Weve been to the one at Masonboro and felt it was pretty bad, her vegan cream cheese was horrible and my everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was quite tasteless! When my husband brought us bagels from here, we were hoping it would be better, but unfortunately not. I cant imagine how they will succeed with Beach Bagels just a couple miles away. If you like good bagels, this is not the pace for you.
