I just bought my first boat a pioneer 202 islander here today and they were a pleasurec to work with from start to finish. I stopped by to look at boats as they were closing one day and Jason was more than happy to give us some information to take home. I ordered a custom Pioneer from the previous dealership, and was concerned with how delivery would occur since it was being “inherited” by Avalanche. Without hesitation, the owner, Todd Myers, ensured me the process would be seamless and personalized. He called me as needed throughout to provide top level information. I greatly appreciate the professionalism and personal attention he delivered. He introduced me to the GM, Jason Cate, who was equally professional and personable. Jason kept me apprised of every detail, and communicated clearly and timely throughout. Great guy! Justin in the service department is a mechanical pro who knows boats. I trust him, and enjoyed working with him. Overall, Avalanche exceeded my expectations with regards to honoring my contract, pricing, and delivery. Bought my Carolina skiff here, seriously I didnt know what to expect but from the first phone call to signing papers this company was amazing !!! Made my boat buying easier than ordering food. We recently bought a new Sea Fox 249 Avenger from Jason and he was extremely knowledgeable about several models we inquired about and set us up with a couple of sea trials so wed be comfortable with our final choice. They are consummate professionals at Avalanche and special shout out to Justin for his perfect installation of the electronics and equipment we added on.

I contacted Austin for a quote on repowering my 18 Whaler with a 150HP Suzuki. He promptly followed up and the written quote matched his verbal estimate. They worked with me to pick the boat up at Bradley Creek Marina at my convenience, and were right on time. They completed the job very quickly (even though its the off season, they were fast) and communicated well throughout the process. They met me at the WB ramp to deliver, again right on time. Im just starting the break-in period, but so far the new Suzuki is great. Overall, working with the folks at Avalanche was an excellent experience. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had been talking about getting a boat for years. We decided this was the year and began our search. We met Jason and Ross in the Wilmington location and immediately knew these were people we wanted to be in business with. They greeted us with a smile and were extremely inviting. We were originally looking at a Pioneer, but had the opportunity to take a ride on a Sea Fox 228 Commander that they had and instantly fell in love. Most are probably friends on here that wrote these reviews. My BRAND NEW 266 SeaFox sank after 48 hours on the water and these guys ran for the hills! If you are looking for a boat I repeat do not! Do not! Come here!
