Again Bryan and his staff at marker 17 continue to exceed all expectations!! Had an engine problem no one else could fix and Bryan calls and says bring the boat here and I’ll get it taken care of. Less than 24 hours later boat is fixed and ready for pick up. Hands down the best crew on the east coast!! I recommend taking you boat there for anything you need. Fast professional service at its best!!

Purchased my 22 Carolina Bay Tidewater from Marker 17 last month! Im absolutely in love with it, it runs so smooth and drafts so shallow. Honestly though one of the main selling points for me was one of the best boat salesmen Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with who I have dubbed My Mate Nate. His attention to detail and his eagerness to help and answer all of my dumb questions made the entire process so much better. He even answered his personal cell on a Saturday night!! I will forever be a loyal customer!

We took our boat to them twice this summer. Once for an overall service. The second time to have them “fix” the things they were supposed to fix the first time. Finally the owner made things right and corrected the problems free of charge. They have restored our faith in their business.

Beware of sloppy work. I don’t ever post reviews. No time for it. Anyone getting work done on their boat or motor must know, this place is sloppy. Screws loose here, wires loose there, whatever, they ain’t got time for it. Turn and burn. Good luck

My wife and I bought a new 2020 Tidewater Bay Max 2110 from Marker 17 Marine, and had a great experience throughout the whole process. Blake, our sales consultant, was fantastic to work with and gladly answered any questions we had, whether in person or via text message. He was really patient as we checked out several different boats over the course of a couple days before making a final decision. At no point did we ever feel an ounce of pressure to buy. We havent had Marker 17 do any work yet on the boat other than installing the GPS unit (which looks great, by the way), but I anticipate that we would have a similarly positive experience with their service department. We would definitely buy a boat from them again in the future.

When I bought my last boat from Marker 17 Marine everything went smoothly and it was an easy purchase.However, since that purchase, getting my boat in for warranty repairs and for additional service has been a nightmare. I have called Josie in the Service department no less than 5 times now trying to get pricing and info on adding a trolling motor and getting my boat in for warranty repairs.Every time I have called, Josie has been too busy to take a look at what I had asked for and is unable to communicate dates for which I can actually plan on bringing my boat in. The first time I pulled my boat out of the water to bring up for warranty repairs (after calling ahead), I was then asked if I could bring it back in a couple weeks since they were too full. My boat is currently sitting on the trailer in front of my hours waiting until next Tuesday for them to try and finally get around to the warranty repairs (which I estimate to be a couple of hours worth of work max)They are great at selling you a new boat but the Service department needs to work on their responsiveness and communication!

Drove 22 hours round trip from Florida to buy a boat from Brian, the owner of Marker 17 Marine. The trip was totally worth it and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Brian is super knowledgeable about boats and a man of integrity. Ive had two minor issues, after my purchase. 1) A leaky autopilot hose but Brian took my calls on a Sunday afternoon and talked me through a pretty simple fix. 2) A gelcoat crack - which hopefully will be fixed this week by my local marina. Brian told me to have them do the work and he would pay the bill, which I 100% believe he will follow through on.Two weeks after I bought my boat I struck up a conversation with a guy in a 32 Tidewater at my Marina and he also bought a bought from Brian a week after I did. Its pretty crazy that two guys from S. Florida with boat dealers on every corner chose to go all the way to Wilmington, NC to buy boats. We shared notes on our experiences and he was also impressed and happy with Brian and his level of service.Next time Im in the market for a new boat Brian will be my first call.

I have bought 2 big center consoles from Brian, one a Wellcraft the newest is a38’ Fountain. Both sells went off without any problems. After I got each boat I wanted to change stuff on the boat to make it work for me and their staff took care of all of it. From buying to service you will not find a better boat company in the United States.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We were lied to before purchasing a boat. Our salesman Donnie said he would have everything fixed & cleaned before we purchased our boat. We were originally going to buy a brand new Tidewater & decided to go with a Seahunt instead. Which, was more expensive so you’d think they would try harder to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Water hose was not spraying. A speaker was out, which we had him fix before we pulled the boat out. Instead of detail cleaning it for us, they just hosed it off & didn’t even clean out the wells. One of the wells was not even working, we called to have them fix it. Brian, is NEVER in the office & apparently no one can approve anything without him. After multiple calls, the hose & well were still not fixed. The salesman who promised “everything will be fixed & running before you buy the boat” lied to us & when we called he said “well, that’s what happens when you buy a used boat.” Extremely disappointed with their service & rudeness. We will not be returning. DO NOT BUY FROM MARKER 17!!
