My Wife loves UNC-W and recalls her times there often. The store is modern and clean with a good selection of styles. There were a few items where they didnt have the sizes we were looking for. The staff tried to help and were very friendly.

The bookstore has anything a student needs for any of their classes or anything Seahawk. The prices can be a little higher than normal but not so far out of line that you feel bad about your purchases.

Friendly and patient personnel...even when they were waiting on me at closing time.

We are fans after a visit to the campus. The campus is clean, and inviting for incoming students. The bookstore staff was friendly and the store had a lot of items that were not just school spirit merchandise.

The staff is usually friendly, but of little help. They have a good selection of UNCW gear and alumni memorabilia. The books are overpriced significantly and they do not price match. I have seen books that were marked new that were actually only rentals but they didnt tell you until you were at checkout. Overall only shop here if you need to or want cool UNCW swag otherwise rent your books online.

Quiet and clean. Staff was nice, but things get expensive pretty quickly. 20% off for faculty, which is nice!

Nice clean bookstore. Lots of cool UNCW items to be had. However, as with most university bookstores, you need a big wallet to he able to afford their merchandise.

The staff is great. Very helpful in locating textbooks, or identifying alternatives. The store seems a little too cramped though. On very busy days (start of new semester), it is difficult to move about the store without either being in someones way or finding that you are asking others to excuse you to get by. If you have the option, I encourage that you go after the first few days of class.

Starbucks is within the store. The store manager is great. Helps you find exactly what you need.

Dominique the manager at Starbucks literally had no clue how to work the register and tried 3 times to ring up a venti size coffee when i had ordered a tall. Then to top it all off when I attempted to pay with a Starbucks gift card I was told that we arent a real Starbucks and cant take gift cards. Get it together guys

Books arent bad you can rent them which is nice. Organization is simple and intuitive to find your class materials. Staffed by students.

The bookstore at UNCW is a typical college bookstore in my opinion. They always have a good stock of apparel and accessories. My one complaint has to do with their rental books. I’ve rented books from several different companies including Chegg and Amazon and I’ve never had an issue with returning books until I tried to return the rentals at UNCW. My psychology textbook I received brand new in packaging and I returned it in great condition due to the fact that I barely use my textbooks and I’m very gentle with them. Unfortunately, I received my history textbook in a very worn condition. It had a bunch of “Buy Used and Save” stickers on the back so it most likely was own, resold, and rented before it came to me. I said nothing because I’ve rented textbooks that have been in worse condition so I didn’t think much of it. Until they told me they wouldn’t accept it due to the “water damage” on the top corner of the book which spans maybe half an inch. I’ve been charged for the book, however, I’m not writing this to bash the store, but to inform other students that if they receive a rental in less than perfect condition they should be careful before using it for the semester.

Great, great, great selection of schoolwear and school-themed supplies as well as other academically related needs! The spacious store is in UNCWs recently built student center, so it is a large and attractive store. There is a Starbucks attached, and the student employees who work here are very friendly and willing to assist with any questions.

They really dont do a very good job of keeping the books you might need in stock. All of the school supplies are like 5x what you would pay at Wal Mart. The people there are nice though, Ill give them that.

Great selection on college apparel and accessories, albeit pricey as is most college campus stores. The main issue I had was getting around in the store in a wheelchair due to how tight and full the racks were, some areas were just inaccessible.

I don’t see any benefits for the students and Barnes and Noble members. No discounts for the textbooks even if you have a Barnes and nobles membership card, and also no discounts to UNCW students. I use Amazon Prime a lot because the books are ridiculously expensive.

Great store with lots of options. Although it is the classic tourist type store for parents visiting. Not insanely high prices but lifted in some cases. Book prices are high as usual for colleges.

Ordered book at UNCW online after Chegg cancelled my order due to book not available. Has been 3 days and has not shipped. Assignments due tomorrow. Called bookstore numerous times today, no answer. Really bad customer service.
