Excellent customer service, and such professionalism, that Andrew should be rewarded for standing out. Rewarded so much that he get a paid week off, AND a raise. Try an get that level of service from the mail order security systems, and thats why I have been with ADT for over 10 years......

ADT are all about servicing your needs. Once you have signed the three year contract you are no longer important, in fact I would say you are a nuisance if you are calling for service or complain. I believe ADT do a great job in training their staff, that training training is to be abrupt, rude and disconnect the call whebever possible. I have a had in the past few months had techs not show up, not received a call explaining why,nothing. I asked a salesman that I dealt with to have the district manager call to help resolve my problem, that never happened. Roll on the end date of my contract. Our sales person Dave was absolutely the best hands down! He walked us through every step, showed us how to maximize our order to fit our needs and space! Then our install tech kidder came in with the most professional, caring and knowledgeable approach we could ask for in an install, he truly set the bar very high, I doubt it will be met anytime soon!
Just had a system installed a couple weeks ago. The technician was great, however, he kept leaving my doors open and one of my dogs got out. I had to search the entire neighborhood for my dog. Then, I had to switch my internet router, so guess what? My cameras no longer worked. I figured out my doorbell camera, but my other camera isnt working. I called ADT to assist. They told me to delete the camera. I did that, but now I cant get it to come back online. I have called numerous times and they keep saying someone will be in touch to send out a technician. They do not call or send anyone. Im so dissatisfied, and now Im stuck in a 3 year contract. When the 3 years is up, I will be contacting a reputable service. It looks like CPI has excellent reviews. Id give negative stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT sign with this company.

Ive been a ADT customer for 30 years. They have become a nightmare. Tried to get a new system installed. They have subbed out to a local company. This company is horrific. A month later, many days of wrangling with these unprofessional s. Do not use!
I scheduled an appointment by phone with ADT for a radio upgrade. At that time, I informed the agent my camera was not operational and asked if she would pass this on to the repair techs coming out. She assured me she would.The techs arrived and had no idea about my camera. They said the agent would have needed to schedule a separate service call for the camera. It was absolutely the agent’s responsibility to first of all convey this to me and secondly to get a second appointment scheduled. If ADT is having problems with these basics, maybe training classes 101 for the phone agents are seriously in order. I recommend caution when considering ADT.They are also too high cost wise.
Im very happy with ADTs recent visit having security cameras installed outside my home and was pleased with the technician. He was very professional, and very knowledgeable on the equipment. I feel he needs a raise or a bonus for all his hard work. I feel safer in my home now and will feel safer going away from my home. Thank you ADT.
Trying to transfer my service to new home and got transferred 4 times, explained the situation every time, continued to get transferred. Don’t make my mistake.... go with another security company.

Worst customer service ever. The technician didnt install our cameras due to it raining when he arrived. He installed all the other things in the house and by the time he was finished the sun was out, but instead of finishing the job he instead calls his customer service rep and they open another ticket to have someone come back out and install them. Due to this fact the rep charged my debit card $412.00 TWICE! And to make things even worse the technician never told me they were charging me! I had to find out from my bank that I was overdrawn and my overdraft protection kicked in. Installation was on a Thursday and didnt get my money back until the next Tuesday!I still dont have the cameras installed because the technician left before setting that up. If I could I would have ADT come back and take everything out of my house and never have their security system installed.
Last service technician was very knowledgeable, very experienced in troubleshooting for systematic problems. Very polite and empathic to my concerns, did not talk down to me as if I am a dummy. ADT IS ALWAYS THERE. Thanks.
These people promise a $100 visa gift card when you sign up and they don’t tell you that you have to jump through a bunch of hoops for it either. The system is awesome though!! Very satisfied with that. Not happy with the Visa gift card promises

Can you or someone that has the answers please help me understand how your technician is essential workers? ( it has been over a week with no answer)Is the company taking the precautions that are set by the government?Is the technician asking before entering the home if the person/persons have traveled within 14 days out of the country? Is the technician going into homes where the customer is high risk? Or if anyone is sick?When the government and the president set guidelines to follow, why isnt the company following those guidelines?I know a technician that enter a home where the customer just got back from UK where his family is under quartine and then that technician left that house and went to an elderly HIGH risk home and went inside the home. Now that is not safe!... What about if the technician is living with a high risk family member..how is it that your employee is fine to jump to multiple houses inside okay to go back to a home where their loved one is high risk? I dont understand why the company is not going to emergency calls only. The technician does not have mask that fit, does not have proper gloves that work. This is NOT SAFE for your employee not the COMMUNITY.Now the technicians are traveling into different counties and states, to go install multiple homes a day, ... HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU NEED TO HEAR OR SEE THAT THIS IS NOT SAFE FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS & EMPLOYEES. ( the technician might be wearing gloves, but the public knows that this still spreads the virus throughout your home by touching multiple items : walls, keypads, doors, every sensor they install.I also dons understand if the public is being told to stay 6ft away from one another WHY do you insist that your technicians break this guideline??????Yes I have read your website, and your policy that the bot keeps posting on your website that has nothing to do with technicians but it does not tell or answer the questions that I am asking. I get 2 calls a day for a past due charge for equipment. I had a warranty on the equipment and they are now trying to charge me for it months later. I talk to representatives daily trying to clear it up and they never do. I cannot reach any of the managers at the local branch, and the billing department puts in requests for them to call me or fix this and they still do not reach out. I dont know what else to do, but the constant calls are getting out of hand and Im beyond frustrated.
ADT is taking not approved funds from my daughters bank account. Try to cancel them they won’t allow you too. Horrible company they have over 3000 complaints with the BBB. Beware!!!

Worst service ever!!! After had ADT I had 10.000 art stolen at my house because cameras and system wasnt working! Now they wont give my money back they say other company installed my service! Offered me 3 months free what did not happened!!! Awful security company dont waste your money!!!!
These people are terrible. Called in to setup a security system talked about options and free equipment. Told us the rate would be 37 bucks a month and yet they came to our house and after discounting some of the equipment we paid over 300 for that and our monthly bill was really 53 bucks. We have since cancelled and went with a more forthcoming provider vivint. The installer told us that technically the phone representative didnt lie if you didnt directly ask that question. As well as isnt 16 dollars more a month worth it for your families safety. Absolutely which is why we are not doing business with you. Oh to top it off they completely missed our uninstall appointment window which was a 4 hour window!
Sales rep Joe McCaul lied about install time. Wrote on a business card that the tech would show up at 9am. Called and he said he will be there in an hour. 2 hours went by and no show and no answer. Called main number and the office said it wasnt scheduled until the hours of 12 to 5. They are worse than the damn cable company.Prices are way overpriced. Who pays 38.00 a month for monitoring when you can get it for 8.00 a month without a 36 month contract?
