Spending the day enjoying downtown Wilmington. Stopped by to shop. Was picking out some gifts for family. Clerk was hostile and unkind. We were instructed to get out and NEVER come back again. Never is a very long time. Always looking for quality US made products and local small business owners to do business with. Poor customer service is costly.

This Candle Shop in Wilmington is amazing. She makes all her own candles and the scents are wonderful. You can even take your own container in and she will fill it for you within a few days. Really friendly and helpful staff.

WOW!!! These candles smell AMAZING! (They smelled great even with my mask on in the shop, but now that I’ve unpacked them to sniff mask-free, they’re truly impressive!) I’ve been to MANY a candle shop and love me some candles—from local gems to the big brands to the super fancy, only-light-it-when-I’ve-got-company-to-impress ones—and I was blown away by how incredible these candles smell. The scents range from refreshingly simple to sophisticated and complex. Most importantly, they evoke all sorts of feelings and good memories. I thought I was gonna get a small tin as a souvenir but I left with three jars and a business card so I can order more for shipping (and ship to friends and family). If you’re a candle person: run, don’t walk, to this shop! And the service was excellent. Can I give 10 stars?!

I stopped by for a specific smell for my significant other. The lady took her time explaining the smells, and where things are located. Her smile, and care for her business is the reason I will come back.

The lady inside is very helpful and makes sure you get what you need. Very nice set up as they have the scents arranged by groups so they are not random. The fruity smells are in one area and the earthy smells are in the grouping that makes them easy to find what you are looking for.They have nice gift ideas and the lady will gift wrap the items for you to make it easy to shop and deliver directly to the intended person.Stop in and say hello. They will put you on mailing and email list for the latest specials and sales.

Found this yesterday while walking downtown & I will definitely be coming back . Wilmington rain & southern nights are amazing, also the setup of the store is categorized which makes it easier to look around, you have to check this candle shop out!

Very friendly staff. Very good selection of scents and other products available. The candles are all made of soy which is much better for you. They are made on-site by an artisan, and you can order custom creations. The store can also ship as well. This would come in handy if you find a scent you really like and cant get to the store to pick it up

Very nice store with friendly staff! They are always welcoming and also answer on time. Candles are amazing and they last long. My favorite is Rhett Butler. All of their candles have soft and pleasant smell. Highly recommend!

Store smells nice but a candle for $20 that doesn’t smell unless you walk up to it is not worth it at all. Better off going to the dollar store to get a $3 off brand candle that scents up the room than to waste more money here. It’s good for decorations maybe but for the scent, It’s a no for me

This shop is decorated so cute, and I love the way the candles are organized by scent! The staff was also very friendly. Definitely will be doing online orders from them in the future!

I make sure I go here EVERYTIME I visit my mom. The absolute best candles and wax melts EVER! So many amazing smells. I get compliments every time guest come over. LOVE!

This is the only shop my wife and I have found that has candles that don’t upset her allergies. We love this shop and visit every time we go to Wilmington.

I visit this store every time I’m in Wilmington! I’m obsessed with the scent North Carolina Mountains and love that it’s a soy based product that doesn’t leave any residue after burning. Staff and owner are super friendly and it’s always a treat to visit!

Beautiful store front, wonderful smell when you walk in. The women behind the counter was very friendly and helpful...she was very informative about the candles...I was impressed at the high quality of the candles and even more impressed with there prices.

I live in Asheville, but make it a point to stop in Candles Etc. every time that I go to Wilmington! There are so many wonderful scents-Wilmington Rain, Mimosas on the Veranda, Key Lime Splash, Lavender and Chamomile, Christmas on Market, just to name my favorites, that I wouldnt be able to find anywhere else! The shop even goes beyond candles with melts, hand soaps and hand sanitizers which can make for the perfect gift basket! Would highly recommend shopping here for quality, scented candles and gifts!
