Not sure if the bar staff was preoccupied but we had to wait 5 mins before anyone came in. When we did we ordered 2 mimosas. The bar keep put them in paper cups... no great presentation or service... otherwise the actual bar decor and view was amazing.

Wine tasting was really great. Place is cool cant wait for the garage door and outside seating to come soon.

Great cheeses but some items were out of stock. We went next door to get some local honey for ourselves and were missing the garlic goat cheese. Definitely did not like that the peppers were on top of all the cheeses and grapes. If we had known that they were going to give us peppers instead of the nuts and honey, I would have asked that they be put on the side.

Nice location and atmosphere. Intimate. Live music. I think the bartender could have used a little more help on the night I was there, but he did his best. The bar stools arent the most comfortable. Would have stayed longer if they had been. Overall nice experience. Oh and the owner is very responsive!! Love that.

Off the beaten path wine shop. First time, loved it. Second time, short pours on the glasses of wine. Need some consistency.

We stumbled upon The Cheese Board on our way to the River Walk, its located in the Old Wilmington City Market. We had the Mediterranean Europe board and were not disappointed. They also have a good selection of wine and live music. We will definitely go again when back in Wilmington.

The Cheese Board is a cozy spot with a river view, and a great selection of wine and charcuterie... perfect place for noshing in Downtown Wilmington!

The cheese selection here is fantastic and delicious! They also have an excellent selection of wines and craft beer. Such a cute shop! Definitely a good date night idea. They have love music on the weekends and half off cheese boards on Sunday.

This is a wonderful shop! They serve cheese boards, wine and beer. They have a perfect view of the sunset over the river. Matt was a wonderful server and was really knowledgeable about the wines. There is plenty of hand sanitizer and the servers wear masks (thanks Covid-19 friendly things!) I will be coming back!

The charcuterie board we had was amazing and the Cabernet suggested was delicious. Great service, will definitely return upon next visit.

Our first time in Wilmington, and we were not feeling the vibe of the Walkway, so when we saw this little hole in the wall, we took our chances it wouldnt be overrun with fellow tourists. We sat at the end of the bar and were greeted warmly by the two bartenders (a guy who looked like the owner, and a young lady). We opted for the spicy & sweet cheese board and added prosciutto. Neither of us like goat cheese, and they gladly swapped burrata on the board. Everything was fresh, delicious, and the perfect amount for a couple to share. The star of the meal was the seedless raspberry jam that came with the prosciutto - we added that to almost every bite. My wife had two nice glasses of sauvignon blanc (generous pours), and I had two local craft brews. Cheese board was $29, prosciutto was $10, and our drinks and tip came to $88. BTW, the prosciutto came rolled and was the most tender and flavorful ve ever eaten.

We stumbled upon the Cheese Board a couple weekends ago and were shocked to find out they had only been open for 10 days! It feels like the hidden gem of the town. The wine was fantastic and the cheese was incredible. The service was phenomenal as well--you can certainly tell these guys are doing what they love. In all, highly recommend!

My wife and I went, and were so happy and satisfied with the experience. Both owners were extremely welcoming, excited, passionate, and provided a phenomenal experience. The cheese board we got was delicious, but frankly, they all looked appealing. I would strongly urge anyone and everyone who likes wine or cheese or both to check it out, because we (my wife and I) believe you will be very happy you did.Were looking forward to going back!

AMAZING SERVICE!! I messaged them asking for a last minute charcuterie board for a work Christmas party and were able to help me out within hours. When I stopped in to pick the board up they were so nice and friendly and the place is very welcoming. The food was amazing and gentleman helping me was very knowledgeable in his cheese.

Really enjoyed The Cheese Board. We were served by one of the owners who was super friendly and welcoming. The cheese board we got was delicious (sweet and spicy). The atmosphere is very relaxing with a nice vibe. They have a good selction of wine and beer. Also, a great view of the river and sunsets! Would recommend a visit!

This place was so great! The owner David was extremely friendly and welcoming. My wife was shopping in the area for a few hours, but my time at The Cheeseboard flew by! I had such a great time talking to locals, enjoying delicious cheeses and good beer!

Recently discovered this GEM and it really is just that! Great service, amazing entertainment an the best charcuterie! Plus they are expanding with outdoor seating and menu additions! Plus the owners are wonderful!

Great vibe and in the heart of downtown Wilmington. Great for a date night to grab cheese and wine. We stumbled upon The Cheese Board on our recent trip to Wilmington and we are so glad we did! We each got a wine flight that was selected for us based on our wine preferences and shared a charcuterie board. We stopped in on a Sunday and the boards are half off! Definitely recommend checking out this place.
