This is my favorite local coffee shop. I go here often to study and edit photos. The Greenville location often has great live shows on Fridays. My favorites have been the jazz shows and I attend whenever possible. I wish their hours were extended a bit later, I would purchase more food.
Literally one of my favorite coffee shops in the world. The atmosphere is inviting, whether you are meeting up for book club, catching up with an old friend or buckling down to finish writing that paper for English class. The food is great and there is a full bar at this location as well. There are lots of different specials and events that happen throughout the month so it can be worth planning ahead or following them on social media.
Called and tried to place order online and I was told they’re too busy to take orders. When I asked how I can order they said wait until we’re not busy and come in. I understand being short staffed and being busy but just refusing to take orders is terrible customer service.
This chain was spawned from the 90’s trending romance of throwback culture and nostalgia (the sitcom “Friends” helped a lot, too). It was novel in the beginning and opened up a brand new market of hospitality in the area. This was before Starbucks exploded across the country. Wilmingtonians were offered an upgrade in their coffee choices and had a new casual meeting spot. Quality across the chain, however, has waned as they have expanded. Some of the stores are dirty and dingy, especially Branmar. Their pastries and desserts are all underwhelming and disappointing and their lunch offerings are average. The coffee and espresso they use is just about average, too. I’ve always had good experience with the staff and service is good. I’m perplexed, though, why they insist with the paper straws. They still serve plastic cups, plastic lids, and other various contaminants and they now tape your order receipt on your cup (which is highly annoying and wasteful); the effort seems a bit insincere. Delaware is small and not the most commercially viable market. We don’t get the most sophisticated offerings to pick from. Brew Ha-Ha is not bad, but not the example of excellence. It’s just an experience most locals praise because there’s nothing else exposing them to anything better.
Casual coffee house with great breakfast and lunch items. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Good food and prices. Love the $2 tacos! Great music too!
Delicious and friendly staff. Fast service. Plenty of parking. Great location.
Their food is pretty good and their staff is friendly. I would definitely come here again.
Nice place. Pastries were excellent. Large dining area.
Excellent local coffee chain with well trained baristas and a good kitchen.
Went in for a cup of coffee, having been vaccinated, I wasn’t wearing a mask. One of the baristas (she was the largest one of the group). Asked me if I had a mask, I informed her I have been vaccinated and she said she would get one for me. I then declined, did not place an order and left. My friend was still inside and heard her say rude and insulting things about me. Which I find odd, I gave no Attitude at all. I will not be giving them my business.
Their lattes are always good, but I placed my order online today. When I went to the pickup station my coffee was ready but the food wasnt. The exbiditer told me they were still working on it and asked my name. About 5 mins later some food came through the window, he checked his phone and put it at the pickup station. I waited 2 mins thinking since I gave my name he would tell me my order was ready. I checked the pickup station and it was there. What Im getting at is a little customer service and a littleess time on your phone goes a long way.
Quaint, friendly, and unique! A definite visit for Delaware locals.
The coffee here is always good. Wishing one day theyll get back to indoor seating at their locations. In the meantime they have space outdoors to sit with tables.
Live music on a Friday late afternoon/evening, outdoor dining, good grilled portobello sandwich. aaaahhh!
Took about 30 minutes before order was ready. Confused to put in the order in the kiosk or in line, which was confusing because it seemed to have 3 separate lines. Signs for Order here, pickup there (online) and otherwise should be displayed. The latte was lukewarm by the time I picked it up. No one greeted us in the 5 minutes waiting to see how to put in the order. Also unimpressed with the latte itself.
Love this coffee shop. Its perfect for a casual meet up with friends for a morning chat with coffee. But also great for a quick coffee pick up.. Staff makes you feel like family.
Excellent food every time we’ve been there. The brunch is especially good.
Great service, friendly and gave recommendations. Food was adequate-good (depending on what you choose) filling food. Amazing lattes and cappuccinos
Best lunch spot in town. Super high quality, quick, consistent and Ive never had a mistake!
Ordered the Mediterranean eggs. It’s kinda dumb how the hummus and avocado were just slopped inside of the cardboard box instead of in plastic ramekins or on wax paper. It tasted ok but it was nothing that I couldn’t have made at home. Coffee was good though and the decor both inside and outside is really cute.
The atmosphere and vibe is great. They offer a great mix of coffee, lattes and tea. They also have a small but great breakfast menu. The seating area is a little crammed and can be hard to navigate through when packed. I had the habanero bloody mary, it was excellent. The bloody mary had just the right amount of spiciness and had spicy salt on the rim. I will definitely order one again.
It was my first visit to the new location since they moved from their previous smaller building in the same plaza. And I can completely understand why they needed the extra space. Theyve really gone all out. Previously, it had been just a coffee shop with some food options. It has turned into a coffee shop/bar/restaurant with a wait staff. The atmosphere is as inviting as ever, its really a great place to come hang out or bring a friend. My only gripe is that prices are a bit high, especially with some of the liquor and food options. Its not outrageous, but I wouldnt want to try and get a full meal there. If I go, Im coming in for the coffee. Anything else is a nice little bonus.
A nice cosey local place with good coffee and food.
Very tasty salad and iced tea.
Best local coffee around. Don’t go to Starbucks. :)
Best local Cafe. Great sandwichs and coffee
My favorite hang out for yearsCozy and personal with great food, drinks and staff.
Best coffee! Delicious, healthy food. Fast service. Friendly staff. I love going there!
Seems to be the local hangout in Greenville. Great food, coffee and even a bar. Another great locally owned business.
Best coffee
I had a chocolate caramel latte that was amazing today! The staff is so nice. I love it.
Best coffee and lattes around!
Always love this place! Best coffee ever!
This used to be my favorite place of all time. Unfortunately, success can change the vibe. VERY happy this place is thriving and growing. However, I miss the days when it was a quiet cafe that I could count on to get work done.HOWEVER - THE BEST FOOD AND DRINKS.
Always a good coffee and an open outdoor space to meet friends. I order in advance on-line and the coffee is always ready when I arrive.
Very good coffee shop vibes. Coffee and other drinks are great. Havent personally tried the food but I have heard good things! All employees are very friendly and helpful.
Almost unbelievable how stuck up and ignorant most of the people are working here. 5 months into covid you would think they would have a better grasp on how to run a business in this. Good thing theres a Starbucks in the same parking lot
I wasnt a big fan of the Brew HaHa! location near Staples off 202 (went there once and never felt compelled to go back even though its right near my house), but this location is pretty amazing. It looks/feels like they had a really specific vision for what would be a welcoming, upscale, comfortable atmosphere, and they pulled it off flawlessly. It really is a beautiful space. The food is good, but wont knock your socks off. But the coffee is great, and it is a coffee shop first and foremost. They also have a full bar which is kind of cool and unexpected.
This is the cutest, most wonderful place Ive been to in a long while. Worth the trip up from Baltimore. The thin mint latte was amazing. We ate the short rib and Peri Peri chicken tacos. We will be back!
Love our local baristas!
The atmosphere is really lovely, food is always great.Update today: Cashier got my order wrong (paper cup instead of a mug); I noted this and he grabbed it - I said No no (point was to save waste and hed already used it so no point changing it). He didnt listen, and also dumped out 1/3 of the tea that was in the cup in the sink, so there went that. Rest of the transaction felt pretty...cold as well, including him correcting me when I called their sweets display pastries. So I left the counter feeling like Id had a fairly negative interaction.
Truly the best part of delaware ❤️ you can’t go wrong with anything you order at Brew Haha! their service, coffee, and ambience is sure to wow you every time.
I love the variety of seating options. The balcony was nice and quiet this morning and the French toast brunch was tasty. Its a nice spot for food with friends or just sitting and sipping while getting work done.
I am a fan of their coffee. Plenty of fancy drinks to choose from including a bar. I frequent here for lunch and there are a lot of options to choose from. They have a deck in the back. Great atmosphere. The only reason I am leaving them 4 stars over 5 is that they don’t take American Express.
Good breakfast food
Great food, lots of options on the menu and in seating, although I was a bit confused as to what my options were. I had thought the back section was for table service only, but all sorts of people came back to sit, and I wondered if I would have been more comfortable eating alone at the counter, but I dont know if that was allowed. Oh well, like I said, the food was great, and the server was friendly.
This place used to be my favorite lunch spot but over my last coupleVisits the service has went down hill seems they lost a few people and the people they have working during the day now don’t seem to be able to keep up. Had to complain about my food the manager didn’t really seem to care either. Think I’mGoing toWrite it off now plenty of other places for lunch
Great coffee, I had an Ethiopian pour over that was amazing. A little acidic but I knew that because it was a light roast. I didnt know it was going to be $7 so I would have liked the barista to inform me of that, but it was worth the money. I had a breakfast sandwich that was pretty good as well. Great environment and friendly staff.
Great food, especially brunch. The environment is very freindly and peacful, and offers comfortable outdoor seating as well.
The Thin Mint iced coffee is delicious! I cant wait to try more things on the menu.
Friendly staff. Quick service even when its a full house. Good lattes. The milky way is my fave!!
This is a lovely and shabby-elegant coffee shop with more charm than youd expect from a strip mall. The food and coffee is good, but the portions small. They also serve alcohol.
Just had a frozen snickers latte. So good! Friendly service and nice atmosphere.
Great coffee shop, now one of their best locations. Have no idea why anybody would go to the Starbucks a few doors away. Food is OK, not as good as coffee but they have some nice sandwiches - much better than most coffee places food, albeit thats a low bar
Great spot for delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Wednesday is half price Burger night and they are great. Thursday is 2 Dollar taco night and it is also really a lot of fun.
Always a great place to meet up with a friend or two and catch up. Bonus the apple crumb cake is fantastic!
Maybe I should lower my expectations. I went there for brunch and our waitress was terrible I had to go find here several times. The food not great and our drinks even worse. Ill put it this way my bagel was stale! However if your more concerned with atmosphere and coffee house vibes, then its an okay place. Serious dining no... Not at all
Great experience. This coffee shop hits all the points of a great experience: good coffee, tasty selection of lunch items, ambiance, cheerful and courteous staff, and attention to detail (lit candles, fresh flowers, clean tables, etc.). It is now my favorite coffee and lunch place.
Real warm and cozy coffee shop with excellent coffee. Ordered their Cuban espresso, which they served to me in a paper cup!? I tried their Oreo brownie which was delicious but very dry. Pricey drink menu but would love to visit again soon.
The service is always pleasant. I am not a coffee drinker (ha ha) but I love the food. The spicy chorizo bowl was one of the things I craved during my pregnancy.
Its local, its always good, and nobody does a matcha latte like Brew Ha Ha! The avocado toast and hummus are my go-tos.
This is probably one of favorite places in the world! It was the first time ever going to a Brew Ha ha, and had best experience ever. My friend and I went there to go study, and the vibe was so nice. It’s so clean in there, so low key, the food and drinks were so delicious! The service made my whole day. Our server was Mariah, and she was so great! I’d give her 10 ten starts if I could. She was so personable, friendly, funny, we loved her! I would definitely recommend going to this Brew Ha Ha, and if you can request Mariah, please do!
$2 taco night is on point. Very good food and chill vibe. Nice adult beverages as well.
Best coffee in Delaware. Especially fond of greenville location. Have been to 5 of there 9(?) Locations regularly. Always a friendly, fun, and polite person to take your order, make your coffee and/food. You can tell they like to work there, and that really gives it a pleasant atmosphere to sit in.
I’m a regular but that’s besides the point! So the owner ask me to move my seat if possible I said yes. I was sitting in an 8 top with 3 other people. Our food was amazing. My party got up to accommodate and assist with the 8 top, the father of the group of people eating paid for or meals. Blessings, I will continue to go!!!
Had a American Cappuccino. Was good. Liked the ambience and pleasant staff.. Will update more once I have some food
If you are in search for a flavorful brew and excellent service, this coffee shop is the place to go! This cafe is a nice place to grab a cup, sit down and enjoy the beautiful decor. I personally enjoy the brewski which is a cup coffee with a shot of espresso.
Great coffee shop with excellent espresso choices (locals brandywine roasters) ... one less star because I ordered a cortado and the milk was pretty large and foamy. A 3rd wave coffee shop like this should have a bit better training and prep for drinks like that.
Beautiful, cozy, place for coffee, drinks & food. I love sitting out on their back deck for a delicious, healthy tortilla salad with grilled salmon. Perfect lunch with a view!
Excellent coffee, interesting sandwiches. Nice variety of food choices.
Absolutely gorgeous place! Great specialty coffees and dining environment. They also had excellent live music playing when we went. Theres an outdoor seating area too.
This in general is Just the place to be. Great atmosphere, great drinks, amazing weekend brunch! I suggest the chilaquiles.
Cool atmosphere, v eclectic. First time for $2/tacos. Ill be back!
Cozy quiet. Good food good coffee
Highly recommend burger night (Wednesdays). Good and growing beer selection as well. This is not just a coffee spot anymore.
This Brew Haha is gorgeous!! Whoever did the interior decoration was on point. It has a very vintage, mellow vibe. The drinks are great too and they also serve alcohol.
Greenville location. Service was excellent, very polite asked questions to make sure I had the proper order since I am not a coffee guy. Really cool atmosphere.
Great for Friday Night music and dinner. We listened to the wonderful Paul Sedacca playing the guitar and enjoyed the healthy, well cooked clean fare. We are regulars enjoying the various weeknight specials-always good!
The ambience is nice...indoors during winter and outdoors during summer!! Particularly this brew ha ha is my favourite one
Been going to Brew HaHas since I found them in 99 and havent looked back! Great coffee ☕️ & atmosphere!
Awesome food and coffee. Brunch is especially good.My only real complaints are that the sandwich menu is slightly different from other locations, which caused me to order the wrong thing (my fault.) Also, to-go sandwich orders take a bit longer here than other locations due to the increased traffic and demands of having a full-service kitchen, so plan accordingly.
I think Ive been to every Brew Haha now. I love each and everyone. Cant go wrong with their cold brew on a hot summer day.
Great for catching up with friends! Relaxing and inviting decor. The staff is awesome!
THE best kept secret in Delaware is the Brew Ha Ha (Greenville location). Dont let the coffee theme trip you up! Theres plenty more to this place than java. The food options are very distinctive and one-of-a-kind. Im very set in my ways, foodwise, but at the Brew Ha Ha, I go wild and try all kinds of things that look interesting. And EVERYTHING (so far) has been delicious. ESPECIALLY the dessert and baked goods items which are phenomenal. The atmosphere is like dining in someones home, but a rather large, well-accoutered home. The only drawback is that occasionally service can be slower than need be. Say, one out of every six or seven trips. But if you arent in a rush, it wont be an issue. If you eat there once, you *will* return.
The biggest and best Brew HaHa with many more food choices, optional table service, and alcohol. Love their avocado toast.
Great breakfast choices and wonderful home feeling. Love sitting by the fireplace on the coach!
