The employees here HATE THEIR JOB! Always rude! Always have a sour look on their face and always take forever to make a drink

I love PCJ and their coffee, but for amount of employees at the UNCW location at any given time, I should not have to wait 30 minutes for a coffee and a muffin. I understand being busy, but the employees at this location are often more focused on their own conversations than on their customers. Customer service at any other PCJ is far superior.

We ate at Cape Fear Seafood, and they recommend Port City for coffee. The barista there was extremely kind and patient (as we were indecisive!)The barista made some recommendations, and I was thankful she did.We were so pleased with our drinks, and the next time we visit Wilmington we will be sure to stop by again!!

Extremely rude staff that work at this place on Mondays and Wednesdays at 2:00. I went to this location about a month ago to get myself a breakfast muffin sandwich with sausage egg and cheese, and a mediterranean wrap; the employees were goofing around laughing and joking with each other while I was waiting in line, by the time it was my turn to order the cashier finally interacted with me after waiting for around a minute and when she had finally spoke to me she had a very rude and unfriendly attitude towards me, did not ask for my name for the order, and went back to playing around with the other co-workers after I had finished paying for the transaction. So after I had payed for my meal, I was waiting in line for 15 minutes, 2 of the people in front of my got their stuff, and the 5 people who were behind me were already getting their stuff as well before me. So then finally an employee had looked at me and said, What you want? in a very uncalled for rude manner; so I responded to the gentleman I had ordered a sausage egg and cheese muffin, and a mediterranean wrap, he did not reply to me, and instead turned around and started to talk to his co-workers as they continued goofing around and laughing at whatever was funny to them before I showed up. Another 5 minutes goes by and I finally get my order, only for it to be wrong, I did get my mediterranean wrap, but I did not get my muffin sandwich, instead they gave me the steak and egg wrap which I had obviously not ordered. When I had realized this I decided not to go back and complain since I figured with all the waiting I did, all the rude customer service, and just the overall unprofessional atmosphere that I would just take the steak and egg wrap anyways, it was good do not get me wrong here, but the principle is that my order should have been right and the customer service should have been much better. Will most certainly never do business with Port City Java ever again, this has also happened to me at other locations too, but this place in particular was what sealed the deal for me!

Great atmosphere and the best mocha shake....way better than Starbucks.
