Great little place! It’s tucked away so you might not see it just passing by. They had delicious food and coffee! You order at the counter and they call your name when the food is ready. They were very friendly.

Good cappuccino.the market bowl for lunch was a great healthy and filling option. I wish they had more coffee bean options. Cute decor.

Amazing food for breakfast (sit down or grab and go). Clean restaurant with pleasant and helpful employees. Breakfast burrito was cooked perfectly and the salad had the right amount of dressing (not drenched but enough to taste it). Definitely recommend for anyone in the area

My wife and I are not cryers... but as we ate our food from Drift (Turkey Apple Crisp sandwich, Ham egg and cheese, market bowl breakfast, sweet ricotta hot cakes) we both had to fight back the tears. The sweet potatoes in the Market bowl... the butter on the hot cakes... the combination of flavors in the turkey apple crisp.... all of it was very very good. We are only in town for a few days but we are seriously considering throwing all of our “adventure chips” on the table and going all in for the rest of our meals in town at Drift.

So glad we found this coffee place in Wilmington. Not only the customer service is incredible, but the food delicious, healthy and the coffee amazing too! Will definitely consider coming back and highly recommend if you in this area.

Sadly I will no longer be supporting Drift as they are normally my favorite cafe in town. They refuse to acknowledge medical mask exemptions and one young brunette woman working there in particular was berating customers today about it in a way that was completely unnecessary (tip: asking nicely would work much better).Going to take the couple of grand that I probably spend there per year (yes I drink a lot of coffee) and go somewhere else.

Great coffee. We were there for breakfast. What we ordered was delicious, and healthier the the usual fare. We would go go more often if we lived there.

The food was amazing! We travel a lot and we try different banana breads at various coffee shops. And I dare say, this place has the best one! We are vegetarian and I was very skeptical of finding good food. But I am really happy we stopped by. They have only a couple of vegetarian options but they are very very good. Enjoyed the avacado toast!The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Good place to study, relax, or meet friends.

This is my favorite place on earth! The staff are all so amazing and I love how they enforce the mask policy! I will never get coffee anywhere else, I swear this is top tier. Shoutout to the amazing barista Mikaela, she always makes my day!

It is so cute and clean inside. The cold brew coffee tastes amazing, and the menu offers something for everyone. They have vegan, dairy free, and gluten free options that are all delicious. The employees are super kind and everything comes out fast!

Cozy little coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee was good and they have an amazing breakfast option, ricotta pancakes with a honeycomb butter. Those pancakes were hands down the most delicious pancakes Ive ever had in my life!

Such a cute, modern place! No stone left unturned with the trendy decor or serving glasses and plates. I thought it was a bit pricey at first but everything is made with the best and freshest of ingredients. Try the avocado toast, you can taste all the flavors and they work so well together!

We absolutely love everything about Drift! Its a great atmosphere to get some off-site work done and a beautiful environment to meet clients. The best part though, as it should be, is the coffee. Food was great and the customer service was awesome! I was in and out super quick. It was very quiet and quaint. Parking was pretty tough, but because of the experience it was worth the struggle!

We stopped by this place for breakfast on New Year’s Eve and it was truly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Loved the coffee too. The place had a unique, modern style with interesting accents and seating. When we are in Wilmington again we will definitely visit this coffee shop again.

Love this coffee shop, so light and airy on the inside perfect for studying. The coffee and food are really great, just a bit on the pricey side. However, worth it for the decor and altogether pleasing atmosphere. I like the tumeric latte when Im in a particularly fancy mood.

Avacado toast was so amazing! Restaurant was very clean and meal was prepared nice and fresh.

I work right beside drift so I get it about once a week if not more. The staff is always friendly, coffee is great, and food is even better. Love this place!

First time visiting! We were greeted by the friendly staff and the breakfast food options were very creative. I got the breakfast burrito and my husband got the avocado toast with goat cheese. They were both DELICIOUS. We cant wait to return.

This way first time here, traveling from Baltimore, Maryland and the food was absolutely amazing. The rosemary potatoes were perfect, the coffee and orange juice was just right. The Staff are very polite and professional, will definitely be visiting again!

There is a wide variety of food options including vegan and gluten free. Coffee was decent but, I like a stronger roast, personally (Im a super picky coffee drinker).

Kind of tucked away but a great breakfast gem! Absolutely loved the atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food! I got the avocado toast & yogurt with granola, it was the perfect combination of savory & sweet accompanied by a sweet iced tea!

Even though I live on the other side of town, the Drift has become one of my favorite places to have a healthy breakfast or lunch. Full of good light, music and a friendly staff. Michael always makes a point of saying hello and talking about the menu. I had a hot Mocha coffee this morning with breakfast and it not only was a work of art but so yummy on a cold morning. Would prefer if the regular coffee was not served in a glass carafe with a small cup. Guess Im just a hot mug kind of girl. Lets support this place of good food, coffee and comfort.

Was in town for a couple of days and found this place. Im pretty fluent on craft coffee and it was great to find a good cup here. Pretty sweet atmosphere and pleasant staff. Am going back before I leave tomorrow 😀

We loved Drift! Sandwiches we AMAZING, coffee was delicious, and the atmosphere was so welcoming even during COVID. As soon as we got home from our trip we tried to recreate the sandwiches we had there!

Coffee is good. Food is bland, lukewarm, and overpriced. I got a quinoa bowl with room temperature quinoa, cold steamed sweet potatoes, an anemic egg, avocado that looked like it had been attacked by a small animal, and no seasoning save a half-hearted sprinkle of kosher salt. Staff did replace it for free, with a piece of avocado toast that was bewilderingly seasoned with fennel.

Drift Coffee has excellent coffee and delicious food served in a great atmosphere. Their staff is super friendly and they always greet me with a smile. Their breakfast is cooked to order and is ready in a pinch. They also offer a great rewards program. I highly recommend them!

I had the turkey bacon apple with avocado and it was excellent. Girlfriend and I tried beet latte and it was delicious. Atmosphere was nice even during these covid times.

I really like this place! The bacon and egg roll is interesting but absolutely amazing. The only downfall I can point out is the business operation times. I understand it is a trendy establishment that has a higher income clientele, but 7am alot of us have already been at work for an hour or so. I would love to have this before work in the future rather than an early lunch on my work breaks. Excellent staff and service!

Very good coffee. Wanted to try something local and picked here to try it out. Got the cappuccino iced with oak milk and caramel and it was delicious. Definitely will be coming back here in the future.

This place is a most try. They have the best pancakes ever, the coffee is really good and the bacon and egg roll was absolutely delicious as well. The stuff are super nice and friendly and I love that they have really healthy options.

I come here every time Im home from school. Its my favorite place to study and I love the friendly/relaxed atmosphere. I always feel welcomed when Im here. Plus, the decor is a perfect mix of modern and beach. As for the drinks, I highly recommend their iced caramel latte!!

This place is great! The coffee is terrific, the place is always super clean and the staff is so kind. I have met the owners myself and they are so down to earth that it really shows through the relaxing atmosphere they can provide in the coffee house. I highly recommend Drift to anyone!

Drift has some really good coffee. Their pumpkin spice latte is really good, their food is really good, and the atmosphere is really nice and inviting. The staff seem interested in you and ask you questions about yourself as if trying to actually build a good rapport with you instead of just treating you like a customer.

Going to Drift was a beautiful experience. The atmosphere was inviting and calming. I instantly craved a coffee. You can smell the good brews when you walk in the door! The food is fresh and full of flavor; perfect compliment to your drink. ENJOY IT!!

Our group had Avocado Toast w/an egg, Market bowl and a ham & egg sandwich. All were tasty. Portions were modest. Coffee was good, not outstanding. Overall, a bit pricey. Staff is a bit introverted except our cashier, who was friendly. FYI, no refills!

This place is great. A bit pricey but the quality is clearly worth it. Had the chia pudding this morning and it was so tasty! Ive had the lunch bowls before too and theyre awesome. Definitely a good place to meet up and get some work done on your laptop. If I lived closer, Id be a regular customer.

Great atmosphere food and service

Food was clean but not impressive for the prices. Tea was served in small mason jar without refill offer. Staff seemed untrained on how to respond when I requested refill. Lots of kids standing around behind the counter. Recommend either use larger size for all, offer a 2nd larger size, or offer same size with refills at a price when you order. Nobody likes to go back to their wallet and get it back out again just to get a refill on their drink. Don’t expect to ever go back. There’s lots of trendy options that I think would be more appreciative of my patronage. Growing pains still in progress for this venue.

Drift Coffee and Kitchen is one of the finer places in Wilmingtons coffee scene. Their friendly and community driven staff serves quality coffees and teas while in an open environment to chat or study. They also serve great food as well! Definitely a must go!

Nothing special. Egg was way undercooked, so I didnt eat it. Seating is just a little too cozy for my liking .You have the options of sitting at a bar, a community table or an individual table one foot away from another table. Good luck with any sort of private conversation you might plan on having here.

I love everything on their menu. Ive tried a lot and haven’t been disappointed yet. My favorites? 1. The Pork Grits Bowl. 2. Avocado Toast 3. Ham and Egg Cheesy. Not feeling up to par and like the taste of pepper? Get the Golden Latte. The turmeric helps with inflammation. Yum!

Not like it to healty food

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! Drift is one of my favorite parts of coming to the isle. The coffee and food is always on point, the baristas are always incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy, costal, and inviting. I have been coming here as of 5 years ago and it has only gotten better. It is arguably the best coffee house I have ever been to in my life.

Great food and coffee!

I stopped by to install a sign and the place smelled mouth-watering. I ordered the Alpine Berry tea. It is, without doubt, one of the three best teas I have ever tried. The price was reasonable and to top it off, the tea is a beautiful magenta color. Both the aroma and the taste are delicious. I highly recommend it.

Very yummy. I had the pork shoulder grit bowl that was yummy. Egg could have been a little runnier but I didnt ask for it. Had an Americano and it was very good you can tell they use a good coffee. My hubby had the golden latte and it was spicy and good. The avocado toast was super yummy and healthy. Definitely a nice brunch place with good healthy cuisine. A very nice addition to the area. Only thing I can say is that you kind of feel pressured to order quickly and can not peruse the menu, as you order at the counter right when you come in. This is not at fault of the counter just our personality. Tip, take a menu and look it over then go back up ☺

Our new favorite coffee shop in Wilmington. It’s actually more than a coffee shop...hence the “and kitchen” part of their name. Their full kitchen is legit! I got the pork grits with a runny egg...fantabulous...as is their mocha made with dark chocolate...not too sweet. Plus the staff is awesome. Great place! Go here!!

This is the spot for a healthy, delicious breakfast. I got the ham/cheese/egg on a brioche and it was simple, yet perfectly balanced. Similar to a croque-monsieur, but on a soft warm bun, and I didnt have to go to France. The avocado toast was equally delicious, served with pine nuts and cherry tomatoes. I ordered online while 10mins away and the above was $13 after the tip and waiting for me when I got there....on a holiday weekend. Amazing.I ended up getting 2 smoothies and coffee as well once I got there. Im usually a bagel kind of person, but no longer. The environment/ambiance is really nice too. It was full, but didnt feel crowded. Staff were really nice.

Lots of earthy, healthy food options as well as good coffee. They do a good job segmenting the space so its not overtaken by laptop users. Also, I love all the plants!
