This place is such a vibe. I visited Istanbul, Turkey years ago and it takes me back. The owner is incredibly nice and an all around good guy. Even if it isn’t to smoke hookah, there are other things to enjoy. I would bring anyone here who smokes or doesn’t just because it is a chill place to hang out, have a few beers, and enjoy the experience. Will definitely be back every time I head to Wilmington.

They have bad service and the man there is not professionnal, and he dosent know how to.talk with clients, also bad hookah and the prices are hight,I really dont recommend that place .

This place is a great place i have been to hookah places all my life and this is by far the best hookah place I have experienced. I also observed that they are very clean and sterilize everything. I would definitely recommend this place because besides the cleanliness it feels like you are at home and relaxed and they have amazing service.

This is a sanctuary compared to the bar-like atmosphere of 95% of others in Wilmington and Raleigh. No service or horrible service elsewhere? No worries at IstanBulls. Everyone was sweet, attentive and personable, and I felt so welcome. The Turkish tea was great, and the baklava- youll want to take every piece they have home! I cannot recommend IstanBulls enough for their wonderful service and hospitality, awesome tea and pastries and a beautifully decorated space.

My wife and I moved to Wilmington in May from the Louisville area, which has a plentiful amount of hookah bars. When we moved here we were disappointed in the the fact that the only selection was either a dive bar or a nightclub to go to and smoke Hookah. When we saw Istanbulls was opening we were super excited and we were not disappointed in the least! This place is amazing. It is super relaxing, and the hookahs and authentic Turkish desserts were fantastic. It was the first time Id ever tried Turkish coffee and I loved it. Not only is the atmosphere perfect for relaxation and just chilling out with your friends over coffee/tea and conversations, but the service is some of the best weve had since moving here. The owners are as friendly as any Ive ever met, and I totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to hang out after dinner. I absolutely cannot wait to go back!

This place has an amazing atmosphere and is everything you could want in a hookah bar. They use both high quality shisha and hookahs that are hand made. The service is friendly, quick, and continuous to ensure your coals are not running out. They play relaxing music at a volume that allows you to have conversations with others without needing to scream. They also serve a variety of drinks and snacks that are very tasty. It is a great place to hang out with friends, or come alone to relax.

The couple that owns/runs the hookah lounge are some of the most genuine people I have met. They do not just supply a relaxing and chill experience but also supply some of the best hookahs made in wilmington. They have awesome desserts and pastries as well as a good selection of beers and wines. i highly suggest this hookah lounge to all my friends and too anyone in general.

We stopped by for Turkish coffee with group of friends at IstanBulls. We truly enjoyed the friendly service and authentic coffee cups. The lounge is decorated with selected ornamental lights. We also enjoyed the rice pudding, traditional dessert made by the owners. It is a quite nice place for an afternoon break.

The atmosphere is hands down the best hookah bar experience Ive ever had in the USA. Ive traveled to Turkey and other European countries and the atmosphere in IstanBulls Hookah Lounge was very authentic. The owners were VERY knowledgeable and were delighted to talk about the intricacies of Hookah and ensure we got exactly the experience you were in search for. The Hookah was very well tended to and many flavors were available on both the high end and middle grade spectrum. I would highly recommend this Hookah bar to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing Hookah experience.(Not like these hole in the wall, subpar Hookah bars that have loud annoying music and low quality products charging premium prices).... HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OVER ALL OTHERS IN THE AREA!

I went here for my birthday and my party loved this place. It is the place to smoke IMO and after going to other hookah bars around town, this is the cleanest, most releaxing hookah bar in Wilmington. The owners are very friendly and gave me and my party tea on the house for my birthday. I will most definitely come back. The atmosphere in this establishment is laid back and the music is great, but it is not so loud that you cant talk to your friend. The smoothies were fresh and the baklava were delicious. The attention to detail in everything the owners did such as their brand name napkins was amazing. It is a little more expensive compared to other hookah bars in town, however, it is worth the money because the hookahs seemed new and all of the hookahs were authentic Khalil Mamoon Hookahs. Because it is a new local business, I understand why it may be expensive. The couches inside were very comfy. Overall it was well worth my money and I will come back often.

I consider myself a hookah connoisseur, and this has to be the best if the best I have seen. From my time in the middle east, through America, Istanbulls has a sense of REAL culture. Not a night club, but like being welcomed to a well cultured home of a Turkish family. I came here by chance on vacation, and it is a highlight of my time in NC. The people are friendly and welcoming, Istanbullls has a very peaceful atmosphere, and I will come here any time I am in NC. Highly recommended.

I live in Raleigh and often visit hookah lounges. Until recently the selection in Wilmington has been dismal, but since Istanbulls opened Wilmington finally has a quality hookah lounge with an authentic Turkish atmosphere. The service is as though you are a guest in someones home. This is my go-to place to relax and enjoy good company over some Turkish coffee and tea. High recommended.

After arriving home and sinking into the potato size spot I’ve made in a +3 month old sectional already; I gazed at the sandman stealing my girlfriend away into a nicotine induced slumber. Her words still reverberating between my ears, “This is the best hookah I’ve ever had!”.To keep things 2018; Tonight unfolded around searches and deciphered google reviews. After a delicious meal and a bottle of lychee sake in downtown Wilmington, my date and I needed sanctuary. We needed a place to absorb our evening and of course hookah. We have been to enough hookah lounges to acquire a faint since of the desired ambience being offered by each one. With the assurance of google we set the coordinates to Instabull.Immediately upon arrival, we were helped and assured that if any questions arose they would be answered. Plenty of options to sit, some offering views to the games one of which was on a projector. The Hookah and other equipment was top notch. I have never had an owner or employee change my coals for me (Multiple times) throughout my now approaching two hour visit. The beer and wine selection was not extravagant, however the options were well thought out and truly fit the Instabull brand. As we puffed away on blueberry muffin and munched down on some baklava (actual food); My girlfriend and I were transported to a place that exceeded our preconceived expectations of what hookah can be. As she and I excavate the tip of this ice burg we discovered; I leave you with this. This is not a review. I genuinely enjoyed this evening and look forward to future visits to Instabull. I am telling you to come here. This is not a review. This is a Go-Do!

As a turkish I missed a genuine turkish Cafe Lounge. There Turkish Chai, Simit and surely turkish coffee was absolutely succesfull. Recommended to anybody who want taste delicious turkish deserts and drinks.

One of the best hookahs I have ever smoked and Im an everyday hookah smoker for almost 3 years now. Customer service is just great, all the employees are very friendly and super nice to talk to but even if they werent this nice the hookah itself is worth a visit. The grapfruit head hookah with an ice hose and maybach tobacco is defintily the best hooakh there but every other hookah is very good too even the simple flavours like Grape, Kiwi or Watermelon. Defintitly worth a visit if you are in Wilmington and a hookah smoker or if you wanna try it for your first time.
