This is my go to place for fabrics, sewing, quilting and embroidery supplies, and inspiration. I love the staff, the friendly atmosphere and of course the informative classes.

Bunni, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable. She and her staff are very friendly and very helpful and will go out of their way to help you. Its a great place to shop for sewing and embroidery supplies. The store also offers a variety of classes. Community service is important to Bunni and during the pandemic, she worked diligently getting supplies for those who made masks.

This wonderful shop has everything one would need for sewing, embroidery and quilting projects. The shop offers a wide variety of classes, and offers meeting space for sewing related organizations. The owner is very knowledgeable and is able to answer any questions, and often teaches some of the classes herself. The staff are also knowledgeable, and are happy to help, too! This is a five star operation! During this pandemic they have filled orders, given away masks kits for free, answered questions and basically have gone above and beyond! The sewers appreciate everything! Customer service during all their long hours have never wavered. I will be supporting them whenever they are able to open their doors, first class operation!

I recently bought a new sewing machine and knew nothing about it. I ordered needles and Bobbins for a pick up. I told susan the model number and she went back and got me the right ones. And also gave me needles to try out..Who does this anymore.They remind me of the good ole day when ppl care. They are all so knowledgeable, I wish I would of bought by machine from them. I will be supporting them, plus I love telling my hubby when he asks “where r you going”..and I say “sew what”.😳

Charged me $30.99 for a $15 Brother Sewing Foot. Dont waste your money or peace of mind. Store was dimly lit, and disorganized.

What a fun place to shop for fabric, supplies, machines, and designs! Bunni is extremely knowledgeable about many brands of machines and will take time to explain options for potential owners and then provide excellent support for those needing classes to maximize their machines. Learning can be slow at times, but the instructors help us over our hurdles. Fabric choices keep getting bigger and many of the new items are just plain fun! The store is very community oriented and provides space for charitable sewing and meetings. Special events are the best, too, with nationally known educators coming to show us even more ways to create beautiful and useful items. Highly recommend this store for purchase, support, education, and meeting others with whom you share an interest.

I met the owner a few years ago. I was beyond excited when she opened her own store and was hand picking the inventory. Never have I called with a question she or Ric couldn’t answer about products. Walking into the new place is (for a fabric/machine nerd), a beautiful experience. Head on over to be blown away by not only what they have but also what they know about what they have.

They go out of their way to help you find what you need or want, and have even special ordered items for me (Christmas present for my daughter)

Sew What has been unbelievable great with helping me with my embroidery and Scan &Cut projects. If I need a embroidery pattern they will order it for me. They are there for whatever you need!

I am so pleased that Sew What opened up in Wilmington, DE. I have learned so much about my sewing machine. I can make my machine just about sing, with the knowledge that I have gained from the staff at Sew What. I purchased this piece of junk from them and after a week I wanted to return it and the store wouldnt let me. Theres nothing that can fix this machine. Its garbage. I asked if they could at least try to get me a replacement blade since it was only one week old and already dull after only cutting a small amount of vinyl. That was three weeks ago and I havent heard from them. The owners said Sew What. Great name because its so fitting.
