I looked several places and just couldn’t find exactly what I wanted until I went there. They helped me choose the perfect stone for me, walked me through the entire process, showed me where cuts would be made to maximize the beauty of the stone and explained care of it. NSD is very knowledgeable and we really appreciated how helpful & attentive to all questions Alex was! Very happy with the beautiful New Statuary Quartz we went with and loved being able to see the slab before purchasing. After install there was an obvious filler mark at the transition, but we contacted them and they came back out and corrected it - the seam is still visible, but is much better than it was. We purchased our sink through them as well & we love it! Overall would recommend; appreciate the quick communication & good service.

We had a short wall between our kitchen and living room. We worked with Alex to design a bar height granite countertop to make the space productive. Alex was very helpful to make suggestions to save on costs, closely match existing kitchen granite, and plan the project. She was superb. Furthermore, the team member who helped measure was helpful in finalizing the design, and the installers were professional and did first class work. NSD did a great job on my kitchen granite counter and new sink. I didnt bother getting quotes from other companies in town, because I felt the pricing was fair, and that they truly wanted my business. NSD has lots of great options and at different price points. They mentioned their other location in Angier has more options to choose from. I felt that the Wilmington location had plenty to choose from, and found a granite that both my husband and I really liked. Alberto helped me with the initial consultation and throughout the project. He was punctual to our appointments, and his attention to detail made sure my counters came out perfect. Any small hiccups that came up (for example, the install team was running late to my appointment), Alberto was quick to respond to my inquiry and took care of communications. He let me know that there had been a complication at the home prior to mine that was taking a bit longer than expected. He insured me that I would get my counter tops that day... and I did! The team that did the install did a great job too. They worked efficiently, cheerfully, while also taking great care that the job was done well. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Natural Stone, but here are a few things my husband and I reflected on the past few days.We searched all over the area for the perfect piece of stone for our kitchen renovations! As a retired science teacher, I had to analyze almost every detail of the slab. Holly was super patient with me and helped me find the most amazing piece. She knew her stones, minerals and was very knowledgeable of the process. Slabs were taken out for me to look at In detail again looking for the perfect one.Big pluses for Natural Stone were:-They do everything in house. Measurement team, fabrication, and installation. We consulted with other vendors who were subcontracting out each step. Not so with Natural Stone.-Other companies were going to create seams between the granite pieces as they were fabricated! I wasn’t thrilled about this, but Natural Stone left the stone as one fluid piece. No gaps. No creases.-Other companies told me I would have to empty out every cabinet of its contents in the lower half of the kitchen. Not so with Natural Stone. All I had to do was take out the drawers. Super easy installation team! The installation was professional, efficient (about 1 and a half hours to remove old countertops And place the new ones) and very detail oriented!Once the order was placed, our turn around time was about 2 weeks. Super fast. Other vendors had run out of the White Orion and had it on a ship coming from Spain. Not good. Natural Stone has numerous slabs to pick from.Again Holly and the sales associates were AWESOME! James, our project coordinator, was super easy to deal with. I can’t say enough positive things about Natural Stone. We will be back in the near future to purchase more stone for our next project!We highly recommend this company for your marble, granite and quartz projects!Mike and Pam Andrews

If you are replacing your countertops, you MUST contact Natural Stone Design (NSD). This was our 3rd countertop replacement (3 different homes) and without a doubt it was the best experience that we had. Alex the office manager was terrific and handled all inquiries and was on top of everything from start to finish. The Magma Gold granite that we selected had a lot of movement and Omar was able to cut and match the seams perfectly. My wife and I enjoy looking at it every day and the best part is that we saved over $1,000 by using NSD. Everyone at NSD was professional and I would highly recommend them!! S.G.

In our quest to find just the right slab of granite for the kitchen re-do, we visited many companies here in Wilmington. By far -hands down- the decision to go with Natural Stone Design was the best one we could have possibly made. From the moment we arrived, Alberto Flores treated us with professionalism, courtesy, and unsurpassed knowledge. Every question we asked, Alberto answered with thoroughness and expertise. It was important to him to help us find exactly what we needed. Once our decision on the slab was made, Alberto came promptly to make the template and prepare the proposal. This company is fantastic from beginning to end. Alex was extremely helpful and thorough in the show room. She answered all my questions with clarity but she did not try to sway my thinking. She is an excellent listener. She is very knowledgeable about their products and services. The gentleman who came out to measure the kitchen countertops was on time, he was professional and polite. He made a recommendation about making my new back splash 1/4 if an inch higher than existing so the finishe product would look perfect and he was 100% correct but he wasn’t pushy. He clearly explained his reason for this recommendation. The countertop installers were so careful with removal, they did not break one piece of old granite and it was put down very well. The installed the new quartz countertops effectively with no glitches or issues. They were highly professional. They were also very best and cleaned up after themselves. They too were on time and finished their work in a timely manner. This company and all employees deserve ten stars not just five.

What do I like most about Natural Stone Design? I couldnt choose just one because their quality is top-notch, their value was spectacular, they responded promptly whenever I had a question and they were always punctual and congenial. They first installed our gorgeous leathered Via Lactea granite kitchen countertops and bathroom vanity top and we were thrilled with the results. Several months later, we needed a fireplace mantle and the Natural Stone Design staff installed a dark, leathered granite that showcases the fireplace beautifully. From start to finish, they exceeded all of our expectations!
