It was very busy!!! Shelves werent fully stocked!!! There were enough registers open, my cashier was very courteous!!!!

They thought painting the outside with a mural would make the inside less uncomfortable and tedious. Leadership is out of touch with the community on another level.

They never have anything in stock and shelves are always empty. They need more cashiers and your always waiting in line. The self checkouts don’t work half the time. This used to be a nice store. I really don’t know what happened.

Ive been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. The staff is always so pleasant and helpful. I dont have names but the older gentleman in the deli always so nice and you can tell he really enjoys his job. The lady in seafood always great customer service and personable. The employees monitoring the self checkout always do a great job of keeping the lines moving. I think his name is David he definitely deserves employee of the year for always providing above and beyond customer service. The store has great selection of products and I know I can always come here and find everything I need.

Sorry but WOW! all self check out now? Lines down the grocery isles and workers walking around talking while we Pay the groceries and have to do our own checking out! Screw that. Thankfully I live in Florida and was only here for a funeral. Wont be back though. Sad

I believe this is the original ShopRite, I live down the street so I go there often. The store is always clean and pretty well stocked, though usually pretty busy they are well staffed and waits are minimal . Would definitely recommend for all who live in the area .

Not Enough employees working Saturday no one to help self check out people. Self check out is a convenience to move shoppers along. Too many issues with customers that choose to use those lanes but need constant assistance. I saw people leave their full cart of groceries and walk out. This must change for me to come back to this shoprite.

I always enjoy shopping at shop r rite the employees are most always friendly, prices are very good, and they have allot of items that other grocery stores dont carry.

The guy with the awesome beard at the fish department is away awesome when I go there. He basically saved mothers day for me. I got to make my family an awesome lobster dinner. Hes was super helpful and great attitude.

Always enjoy going to ShopRite in Stanton. The people there are always friendly, always willing to help. The gentleman in the seafood department always on top of the game, so much product knowledge about the seafood. Have great suggestions of the purchase of your Seafood . No question when its time to check out theres always help, theyre always available. I always enjoy my shopping experience at that specific ShopRite.

As always everything was wonderful. Staff were pleasant and friendly and very helpful. I just wish I could have seen my favorite delie guy Nick!!!!

They bathrooms are usually decent, we like the employees there too they are helpful.

It’s a ShopRite so it’s probably busy. That’s good since it means you shouldn’t find too much old stuff nearing its sell by date. But, it’s a ShopRite and that doesn’t always mean the same things it previously did. This store has been remodeled not that long ago and it’s a nice, clean, and contemporary enough environment. The parking lot is kind of a clunky mess and is a bit of a pain but it’s not a reason to go somewhere else. There was a noticeable increase in prices after the store was remodeled and unfortunately that’s to be expected as well. My problem with ShopRite isn’t specific to this store. I usually shop at another ShopRite and my complaints are the same and apply there as well. ShopRite used to be a safe bet for low prices. (Low prices doesn’t mean I still expect prices from 20+ years ago. My intent is compared to the local competitors.). Going to ShopRite used to be like going to Walmart - you have confidence that you’re getting a good or better price than if you went somewhere else. This is no longer how it works and one needs to be an educated and aware shopper.

The First State Plaza store in DE store has great prices but thats about it. They are frequently out of stock on things. One horrible thing about this store is that they keep the heat up so high in the winter, I leave there feeling physically sick. Its ridiculous. It has to be at least 75 degrees in this store. Its gross and unhealthy and a breeding ground for germs. Just disgusting. I cant shop there anymore because of this.

Me and many family members have seen sizable rats scurrying across isles, and I just had to through out multiple packs of Nutella To Go because they expired almost a week before I bought them. Not to mention their produce looks like it has been sitting in a hot car for a week. The icing on the cake is, they charge for bags. While the bags are cheap, having to spend a few extra dollars every trip is frustrating. No other stores do thisPlease do not shop here. As of right now, you’d be better off dumpster diving at Acme

Best customer service. All the staff couldnt be more helpful in shopping for me and delivering my groceries to me in the parking lot. God Bless everyone of them. Very Grateful

The deli, seafood and meat department employees should be required to wear a mask....Vaccinated or NOT.

Self service checkout is always an issue unfortunately. Employees do not respond timely with check out and computer issues. They want you to bring bags but wont bag with cashiers. Self service can be a problem at times.

Always picture perfect, shelves well stocked, store is clean and well organized. Employees are very pleasant friendly and helpful! Thanks Katie at Customer Service for outstanding service and a great smile😷saw it in your eyes and through the mask😉

Shoprite always has great prices!

Great place if you come exactly at open or right before close. In the middle mask guidelines only seem to be technically enforced. Someone having something covering their mouth seems to be the enforced bar. Distancing recommendations not at all.

Fresh good a great prices. Easy to find items there too and quick checkouts which is nice if youre in a rush.

They play the best music! Everyone is so friendly and helpful too. I take my 95 yo mother here and they treat her with courtesy and patience.

This is my go to store. Ive been a ShopRite shopper for many years. Its always clean, they always have items in stock, all the staff at this ShopRite are friendly and helpful. They abide by the social distancing and other covid guidelines.

Bought chunk cheese with expiration date of 4/21. this is february mind you. opened to find it covered in mold. they would not take it back because it has been 3 weeks since i purchased it. CHEESE.....unopenedwith a date more than a month out....never going back

They actually had Fanta Pineapple soda 12 packs today and they were on sale!!!! I have been looking for these since March 2020. Christina Crossing and 202 did not have them. Will be checking again tomorrow.

Very smooth order pick-up process. They had all my items in a cart (minus the cold items which were still in a refrigerator) and I was in & out in 10 minutes tops.

Worst customer service I ever experienced. I have been calling trying to get a question answered for over 24 hours. No answer. Finally get someone and they say they are not answering because they are too busy. I guess I am not an important enough customer. I will not be shopping her no more after being a customer since they moved from the flood zone.. bye Kenny!

Two stars for their prices which is the only good thing about this place. Always crowded, too much time wasted dodging rude customers; their produce is gross, and meat turns brown before 24 hours is up at home.

Love this store only issue I can find is the digital coupons after I was done I noticed its said 123.00 after coupons were taken off and then it jump back to my 126 .00 so where is my savings seems like a waste of time and didnt save $3 is $3

Shoprite is the best grocery store in my opinion. Lowest prices of them all, except for Aldis, but you cant get everything you need at Aldis.

I go there every week. Front of the store is always on top of things. Fresh items. I like the flower and vegetables area the best. Deli is fast and friendly

This supermarket is the WORST!!! Or should I say most of the staff! The cleaning crew, some of the front runners and ALL of the csrs. They have very nasty attitudes when asked for anything behind the counter especially rainchecks. Im fairly new to the neighborhood but I will NEVER shop there again!

Food lion is a great store over all but at this particular one their fresh fruit and vegetable second is extremely lacking. Its quite small. If you want all your needs you may need to find a bigger grocery store.

Love the sales and the fact that if Im too busy to go shopping I can order my stuff online and pick it up

Went in right before closing and was able to get in and out in a snap.

I like this one better than Wilmington, they always have attitudes and dont want to do thier job. Stanton is more friendly and also helpful and dont act like your bothering them.

Clean store. Always stocked. The employees seem to be always moving and busy. They have plenty of check out lanes open so you dont have to wait in crazy lines. The produce is cheaper but does NOT die. Employees are always polite too.

I was at your Newport ShopRite today. I arrived at about 5:15 pm. I did my shopping and when I got to the registers only 1 cashier was on duty. I was told to go to register 10 as the cashier would be there in a few minutes. This is after waiting for 10 minutes at cashier 7. It took another 15 minutes to check out. I spent more time in line than I did shopping. I’ve been shopping at this location for 27 years and if I experience a situation like this again it will be the last time I shop there. I was told by the lady on duty that she only had 2 cashiers. At that time of night that’s inexcusable.Kemp Windhorst

My local grocery store... has pretty much anything. The seafood department is small but does a great job. Got clams and fresh fish yesterday. The bakery is wonderful. You WILL get fat there. We get all of our birthday cakes done here... 9 a year!! Always friendly employees will assist you any way they can

Great selection. Bathroom is always dirty. Store is also dirty and everything is always overpriced! Price tags are always confusing. The price tags are the size of a sheet of paper and theyre there to confuse you so you wind up paying more.

Parking would be easier if they opened an entrance off rt. 4 behind the building

ShopRite, heck yeah! This is the most affordable, high quality grocery store in the area. After switching to ShopRite from a store which is a 4 letter word, without question Ive cut my grocery spending in half.Meat is significantly more affordable. About 30% off other quality grocery stores and ShopRite carries USDA Prime. Something some other stores dont have.Watch the flyer in the mail and get some coupons that are truly remarkable.Theres an eclectic mix of beautiful and crazy people here. Both shopping and working. I find the parking lot frustrating because you have to drive through the busiest part to get to 60% of it. If you shop at off hours, like I do, youll never have trouble finding a place to park on the easy side.

My trip today was excellent. Everyone was wearing a mask, and the store employees were very helpful.

The ShopRite in Stanton is nothing like the ShopRite in Glasgow. The layout of the Stanton location is nothing like other stores I have been in. I was surprised! It is a very clean and well stocked location. Looking forward to stopping at this location again!

There was definitely a variety of seafood and a lot of varieties of different food...the only negative review I have for shoprite is my 3 year old daughter had to use the bathroom....and it was horrendous. The smell was awful and was disgusting.

Its not this place specifically its the website. Irking my soul to look up and order a cake you have to register which is annoying but I tried now you have to enter a price plus card number which I dont remember mine and its using my entered info to look me up but that info wont be the info I used when I got my price plus card. You think it would let me enter an old phone number or address but no. I just want to order a cake. You cant even look it up as a guest. This is extra. Going to Food Lion!

Great seafood department, very informative produce manager and lots of selections. Somehow their stock doesnt seem to have been affected too bad by the current pandemic which is a good sign of great management.

This place alone makes me miss living up north. It always has been my favorite super markets!
