This supermarket used to be fairly decent but it has really gone downhill recently. Of my last four shopping trips to this location, there has been at least one problem each time.* Store employees smoking right by the store entrance.* Shelf tags that have not been updated well into the next week past the sale period.* Staff that were rude and not very helpful when I reported the above problem about the shelf tags.* Produce stickers that could not be scanned and instead screwed up the self-checkout machine. Then it took 15 minutes before the self-checkout attendant showed up to fix the issue.* Price check stations that always seem to be non-functional, unplugged, or broken.I think it would be better to go to Shoprite in Newport instead or just pick a different supermarket chain.

Eric the supervisor was great. I called ahead and asked for a product and he confirmed it was there. I did not see it at first and requested to speak with him and he personally showed me where it was located. Would definitely come back over the bridge for Eric

This review is just based on a visit during the week to grab food from the salad bar and hot bar. I do love me some ShopRite. I was excited to check this location out by my work. Parking was a bit of a pain, but not bad. The store is very nice when you walk in. The hot food bar looked like it needed help, but I got some of it anyway. The salad bar was a bit better. When I got back to work, something tasted funny. I ate it all and was fine. I will be skeptical of I ever go back for a second try.

I recently ordered online 100 wings from hot foods with a quoted price of $44 and some change and was later called and told that the price raised to $100 dollars. I called the hot foods department back and they gave the quotes price online after being on the phone with them for a while. When I received this chicken for my event (Gender Reveal) the chicken was not good at all and it was not cooked all the way. So with that being said I called back again today and was told by a manager that I would have to return the chicken in order to get a refund. In other words Shoprite will take back undercooked food that they prepared from an even during COVID which I think is ridiculous and non sanitary. I will no longer be ordering anything from shoprite due to the fact that they do not cook their chicken properly.

Got what I needed at a reasonable price, only had a couple of items. Customer service took me without a question so I didnt have to wait in line great!

I got in and out and it wasnt crowded. They could have cooked their rotisserie chicken longer. It looked undone. That is what I came there for.

Older lady running self checkout was EXTREMELY RUDE. Gave us a hard time and wouldnt help us while we were trying to use coupons. Told us that she was getting ready to get off and she wasnt going to help us that somebody else would have to. Then, Eric, who was apparently running the front end, came over and helped us and was Amazing! He was super sweet and very helpful and definitely knew how to take care of his customers. He gets a Five Star rating... and she gets a zero!

The self check out was ridiculous. If you needed assistance, and you had to wait for a few minutes. The people in the deli department are awesome!

They do not have enough shopping carts at this store we got in line at 1:30to check out and left at2:35they had only 2 manned registers 5big self service checkout ad well as the expressions self service that place was a mad house when we left they had no shopping carts for anyone just getting there so most people left. Dont do your shopping there on Sunday between 10 and 3pm this was the second time I did that and I never will again.

Manager should update the hours to reflect the actual hours. Very rude just at the sight of me walking to the door. She obviously wanted to get home but try to remember to be a little empathetic to your customers.

I appreciate this particular grocery store more each time I shop there. It is clean, inside and out. The selection is vast and fresh; if you need it they have it at a great price. The standout for me is the customer service. Those employees are not shy of working to satisfy the customers.

Typical slightly over priced supermarket but has all the essentials youd look gor and need. There are weekly deals and the variety makes it worth the 10-15 min drive (for me). Has specific items I cannot find anywhere else which is always a plus. Fair warning you either can bring your own bags or buy bags there ($.10 each). Wasnt too crowded for a Saturday night either overall good experience.

Horrible! Half an hour to cash out! Thats with 1 person in front of me & 1 person already checking out. Then I get home & see my items not rung up properly & was overcharged. The thought of going back there hurts my head!

Not sure who the intended shopper is but I think they think theyre on par with maybe a wegmans or whole foods. The reality is its a fairly dirty store and there just isnt a good selection of a lot of items. Came here because 3 of the Acme that I called in the area didnt know what sushi was although you can order a platter of it. This store did offer some idk, maybe defrosted(?) rolls. Obviously you dont go to the grocery store for sushi but this was just not good.

I am a person who has my groceries delivered. I thank every dept in the store for your courteous attitude when I call you. My personal shoppers, thank you for your efforts to satisfy me in my order. And less I forget the desk, Home Shopping, I appreciate each & every one of you. Your work means everything in my life. I do miss the old drivers though, I learned all their names. Its hard to remember the names of the drivers now, I dont think Ive ever met the same person twice.

Modern store close to work. Lots of parking. On US13. Staff is always friendly. Great selection usually. I was impressed on my last visit, Friday morning, how well stocked lots of items that had been short due to pandemic were.

This Shoprite is usually pretty busy but the staff does a pretty good job of getting you in and out. Nice selection of foods and goods. The lunch time food is fresh and hot. Has never failed to disappoint. Sometimes you may be hassled for money from some people outside the store before entering or when exiting.

Look, I bought this yesterday! It is disgusting. I wish they regularly check what they sell. I would never buy from ShopRite.

Bad experience from the customer service or the cashier who fix the self check out cz I paid with 2 different cards and first card charged my for 47 $ and the other card should be for rest amount and the register stuck and I asked for help the lady told me u not allowed to use 2 card and its no return u have to pay all amount by 1 card

Place is clean except they made the iles to go one-way since they are already too narrow for Social Distancing.Most of the people employees and patrons alike simply forgot words and actions like respect, courtesy, and compassion. Or how to use and display these words. One poor soul had to use the electrical scooter 😢. She has asked several people for something on thetop shelf which she could not reach, no one appeared to help her. That included an Shop Rite employee as well.

Last night I ordered curbside delivery. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!!! I ordered $190 worth of groceries and the payment went through and the money was taken from my account right away. I was sent a payment confirmation and a text message that my groceries were ready to be picked up. When I went to Shoprite to pick up my groceries the clerk told me that my payment was declined and that they couldnt give me my groceries? I checked my account to make sure they deducted the funds for the groceries and they did! After the clerk insinuated that I didnt have enough money on my card to cover the purchase I asked to speak with a manager. I showed the manager my receipts and he told me that it didnt matter what Receipts I showed him because his system says that the payment failed. So I asked him where is my money since Shoprite already took it out of my account? He told me that the money was basically stuck in limbo and that all they can do is cancel my transaction. After an hour and a half of waiting with my 2 yr old son in the backseat I decided to leave WITHOUT MY GROCERIES AND NO REFUND OF MY $190.00 THAT THEY TOOK FROM MY ACCOUNT! I asked the man to cancel the transaction and HE NEVER DID!! I personally had to cancel my transaction. NEVER SHOP HERE THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE SPANISH OR BLACK MANAGER WITH THE GREENISH BLUE EYES IS THE WORST MANAGER ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH!!!! IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO I WOULD. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TRASH AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO INSULTED BY A STAFF IN MY LIFE!!! IT WAS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

People might not know but this place has EVERYTHING. Im literally starting to fall in love. HUGE seafood variety, and TONS of hot and in-store prepared foods!

I love ShopRite but this place was just depressing. The parking lot was dirty and unkempt. And the inside of the store did not have a ShopRite feel. Shelves were sloppy.i understand we are in uncertain times but out of all the ShopRite stores I have ever been to this one was the worst. I guess I have grown to expect so much from ShopRite. I will still always use ShopRite no matter what.

Pretty great place to shop. A lot of options and good prices. A lot of cool things going on from the little food court they have and the deli/bakery/seafood place is cool. One time my wife did find a pre-made bagged salad that had been taped up. The original package was ripped and someone had just taped over it very well. I didnt see the tape when I grabbed it off the shelf. So I dont know if that happened before it got to the store or if ShopRite tapped it up but it wasnt the biggest deal. Not the end of the world, ya know? ShopRite has a great variety of things to buy with good prices for them.

Clean, well organized and stocked store with plenty of parking. Excellent sales and they have a great variety of meatless options. The mini carts are nice as they dont have hand baskets. Ive used their catering service a few times and have been thoroughly pleased.

I did self check out. Line moved quickly. I wish every other register were open versus every register to feel safer with CoVid19 restrictions. I wish all guests complied with the CoVid19 restrictions but they do not by following the traffic flow arrows on the floorIt makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience.

It was nice and my aunt and I was able to get what we wanted. I Shop at Shop Rite in Baltimore City and County.

First time they are really great service places clean well stock everything seemed good there.....

I use on-line Pickup at ShopRite and it is Awesome! They are very thoughtful and attentive to my needs. They contact me if my selections arent available or there arent subsitutions. But will give me suggestions about other products that are comparable in price and quality. The employees are the greatest! at Pickup and inside at Customer Service! The store is well organized and they do their best to keep it stocked while keeping up with COVID-19 requirements. I use Lyft so you know this has to be a quick transition. The employees always insure that it is. Thanks to all the Employees at ShopRite you all are truly outstanding!

Google says they are open until 12 am but they close at 10pm. Terrible!! They were literally at the sliding door telling customers they were closed when google says they are open! They also need to actually try to help customers when they have to ask for help!

Some things are much cheaper here than competitors but other things not so much. Acme and Food Lion beat their prices on cheese and Food Lion has the best price on nitrate free meats. Most other things are better priced here
