Ive dealt with Mr. Tiller for a number of years..always fair on trades, remembers his customers, and a great eclectic choice of weapons...not just stacks of black plastic. Ive gotten some great milsurps here that only needed a little TLC-and I love to tinker.You wont find SEAL wannabes wearing $200 tactical underwear and a bad attitude on the other side of the counter, trying to stare you down here. Its a real hometown gun shop

Incredibly surprising array of gear in such a small footprint. If you cant find something yourself, ask and theyll probably have it stashed somewhere. I can walk out of here without finding something I didnt know Ive always wanted...

I like the selection of pre owned rifles and pistols, but my only issue is, I asked for 8mm Mauser ammunition also known as 8x57 or 7.92x57The fella hands over 8x57 JR ammo and tells me its 8mm Mauser but its definitely not, so hopefully they do the right thing and exchange it for something else

Great selection, he seems to always have that hard to find part either original grips or mags. Its one of my first stops whenever I go to buy a new gun for myself.

Superior Customer Service & Super Good Staff!

Did a good job on cleaning and restoring my firearms, but they don’t give receipts. Also, staff doesn’t go out of their way to be friendly. I’m just a friendly person and maybe I expect too much from others.

I go in there all the time ...Im interested in almost everything but the big lurchy guy behind the counter ruins it ... doesnt care what you are interested in constantly walks away while youre asking a question, also very spotty hydro dip job .. I rarely hate shops because it is what it is ..but j cant stand this place

Best gun shop in eastern North Carolina. Hands down. Amazing selection of Milsurps. Always steady inventory from WWI to WWII to Cold War era to even modern sporting arms, both handguns and long arms. They price them to sell, not price gouge. I live two hours away and when I’m looking for a new firearm, I will check them first. And from someone who works in customer service, it’s nice to see a place that strives to see a happy customer.

They have a S&W MP 15 used.. for the same price I purchased it NEW at backwater guns, just 3 minutes up the road.. I was in this shop for 20 minutes and not once was I spoken to. Whole time I was in there today he was bad mouthing a customer that had just called.. with another guy in the shop.. no thanks.. place is a dump too..

Great people. They have a lot of everything for your guns. They don’t have a range but they have all kinds of guns in stock.

Great store. They have an awesome selection of new and used guns, even have a lot of unique and hard to find guns. Bought an old Model 36 from them, fair price and they were the 5th store I tried in the area.

I first called here looking for a magazine for a Walther P22. It was proving to be a difficult find in the area. Tiller & Lanier at first stated they did not have one in stock. With in 5 minutes they called me back and apologized and they did in fact have two in stock. I went in that weekend and found the shop to be a wonderful place. The staff was helpful and friendly. In no way did they have the arrogance and superiority that you get from other shops in the area.

I have known these guys for a while (thru my grandfather) and they are stand up guys. I wanted a shotgun pump with a stock and pistol grip set-up and they were awesome. If you need a specific weapon.... they gotcha or can get it. I would recommend them to anyone, great service and seasoned marksman. Go see for yourself!
