They have great service, unlike the big box stores. Prices reflect the individual help and of course they dont have the same magnitude of options, so it depends on your needs

I have enjoyed my trips here. The staff is incredibly helpful, from the register to those on the floor. They are knowledgeable of the tools and materials for most projects Ive worked on, and have always been willing to go the extra mile to look things up for me should an unknown occur. While some of their prices are a bit higher than the bigger hardware stores, I find the difference to be negligeable when compared with the distance and hassle of driving to the next town.This is definitely my first stop for hardware here in town.

I will never shop at this, or any other, Ace again. Went in to purchase a sprinkler valve after I checked stock on the Ace website. The site stated in stock in Windsor, available for pick up today. So I headed to the store. After searching for a bit, an employee asked if I needed help finding something. I showed her the website and she told me the website lies and they dont have it. After a brief view of the sprinkler aisle, I asked her to check the computer and she told me again that the website lies. On another occasion, I asked the same employee to show me where the stainless hose clamps were and she responded theyre all stainless and walked away.Poor customer service and a bad website at Ace will keep me shopping at Home Depot.

Selection of copper fittings is okay but they were out of what I needed and if you need a breaker for an electrical box go to home depot seemed like alot of teenagers worked there

I have always shop there. Especially when we have projects in windsor . Its a good store . Like all ace hardware there price there more expensive but they take care of you. But today 10/29/2020 got some glass cut and she gave me big attitude. I alos own a business we dont treat people like that

Always a blessing to go there. I needed a special set of interlocking threaded inserts for a knife sheath Ive been working on, and they took the time to help me look and then found a perfect alternative that fit my needs. The staff there is top notch and I always enjoy the popcorn as well. Excellent service as always.Also witnessed the kindness of Ashley helping an elderly woman get the supplies she needed after she had informed her of her husbands passing. Ashley took the time to get her set up and explain her own Ace card to help her out with whatever savings she could get. Awesome!!!

Today customer service was terrible, if I could go negative I would. If any employee is above checking a price and yells at a person to figure it out, thats not a place Id feel comfortable going again. Customer service is still a concept even during trying times.

Just like their jingle, always really helpful and knowledgeable people, the store that almost always has the hard-to-find oddball parts for around the house and yard.

Not sure if this is a new staff crew, but thought everyone we encountered was rude and not very helpful, including the manager. Used to love this Ace, but we definitely felt looked down upon and won’t likely return.

I really do like Ace. I like supporting local businesses a whole lot which is why I shop here. That and the convenience. But the prices are killing me!! I can understand why places like Walmart take much of the business consumers would probably rather give to Ace, but they are just way more expensive than most other options.

Been going here since I was a kid with my dad. Never have I ever ran into someone who couldnt help me. If you are new to Windsor which you probably are. This is the place to go. Dont waste your time driving to fort collins to walk through a warehouse. Just talk to these guys and they will figure it out for you.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a lot more than you think in the store and the prices on most items are very competitive. If they dont have something a bigger chain might, they can order it for you most of the time, or will make recommendations on other businesses that may carry something they dont. Great to have this store in our community.

They are always super helpful and friendly. I go there when ever I can avoid the big home improvement stores. Most times they have exactly what I am looking for. They are also very nice to my kids when I bring them in the store with me.

Ace is the place. Convenient, but not competitive prices.

Really a mixed bag. Its close to town if you are trying to get a project then quickly, but we had a horrible experience with the guy running the key copies. He lied to us twice about something and then was rude when we decided to take her business elsewhere. A lot of times this staff is pretty under educated about what they are selling, but its lots of high school students first job, so I wont knock them too hard for it.

They are always very helpful. A little pricey but usually have what you need plus they have a lot of cool items that you wont find anywhere else.

This is my go to hardware store in Windsor. Always helpful. With great suggestions for DIY projects. paint and Lawn and garden items. This is where you go when you need a weird fastener, screw,nut or bolt. Great for birdfeeds,or suet too.

Every time I step foot inside Windsor Ace Hardware Im reminded why I dont go to the big box stores. Id rather pay a little more and receive great service. Its impossible to make it ten feet inside the store without a knowledgeable employee asking to help.

A gem of a store. Im always impressed with how much theyve fit into this little place. Ive had almost all excellent experiences with the staff. They cost more than the big box stores, but if you dont want to drive, this Ace is well worth patronizing.

Horrific customer service. Had to wait 20 minutes and ask 3 times for service at the back before someone came and help, then to be told rudely that they couldnt do what we were looking for, even after being told by 3 people that we could get it done and they would be right with us. Also, a lady who was behind us in line was served first. Would not reccomend. Its one thing if you cant do something, however, telling us you can and then letting us wait 20 minutes to be told you cant is unprofessional. Tell us up front so we dont waste our time.
