Never again!! I waited for 5 or 6 days for the tires, I walk in on time for my appointment and no tires. Used the excuse of the holiday weekend, really??? What happened to if I order them today they will b here the next day???? Thats what u told me. Guess u just are not honest because if u would have ordered them when I was in there they would have been there.

I had a friend recommend me over to Auto Werks, specifically their mechanic Kyle, to help with an oil leak in my 2004 Honda CRV. Kyle was amazing. His approach to customer service was great! After looking over my car he brought me back and physically showed me where the issues were and discussed what solutions I had before me. This was a huge confidence booster for choosing to get the work done here. I had went to another shop in town, but I had never been given a view or explanation of the issue. He answered my questions and we detailed out a plan for work and future work that I should be aware of and begin planning for. Charlie at the desk helped set up a time for repair and was very helpful getting me several quotes for the various work plans so I could make an informed decision. On the day of repair I was able to drop my car off and get a ride into work and then was picked up when my car was completed. When I got back to the shop Kyle again took the time to show me the old parts and the damage they had acquired. It gave me piece of mind that I had absolutely chosen the right place to get my repair done and confidence that the problem was solved. Since the repair I have already recommended a friend there and now Im recommending you check them out as well! Definitely where Ill be taking my car for maintenance from now on!

Dont let my aWeakling Smith name down play this review, I never do reviews. The staff was helpful and consistently went above and beyond what was required. In the past 2 days I have taken in two cars for simple oil changes. Both times they identified potential problems, and instead of forcing a sale or using scare tactics, they gave earnest input on the risks, time frames and what issues really needed to be prioritized. At no point did I feel like they were talking down to me, and they even went as far as lending me one of their personal cars when the wait was longer than I had expected for one of the additional repairs. I would strongly recommend Auto Werks.

After pricing tires at two other locations in Winona I ended up going with Auto Werks Tire & Tune based on competitive pricing and the level of help from Charlie. Charlie took the time to look up the specific tires I wanted and compared them to other popular brands and models. I highly recommend this place!

They were so helpful in solving the issue with my car. They had great customer service and gave fair prices. I will be taking my car here for regular maintenance for now on.

First time having anyone besides my dad working on my car. My dad agreed the prices are fair (he has done mechanic work for 45 years). Dave was great and willing to work with me on pricing. The thing I love the most is the promptness and customer service. Made the appointment one day, brought it in the next day and done the same day! Quality service you can count on!

I have had multiple great experiences here at Autowerks! The mechanics are very knowledgeable and hard workers. The service writer does a fantastic job explaining the problems and steps needed to fix my van. They have a drop box so I was able to leave my vehicle there overnight and they would do the repairs in the morning! They even washed off all the snow and road grime before returning it to me. Above and beyond the best shop in town!

I have been looking for a reputable automotive shop in Winona for my daughter to get her car serviced at after she was taken advantage of at another shop in town. Autowerks have been great to work with, and very accommodating to her needs as a customer. I know they will be honest, fair, and easy to work with. Thank you for giving a Father peace of mind.

Dont know about this place... They have one of the guys working here that used to work at Joes Auto and Tire, and I have had a bad history with that place. I dont know, the guy is super nice, but it just feels like this place is trying to scam you a bit. They sell tires and they tried to tell me that my tires all need to be replaced basically, and my family mechanic said otherwise. I went in for a simple oil change, yet they were checking out my tires? Never heard of that. Even when going to Sugar Loaf Ford Lincoln where they are required to run a diagnostic on the entire car. Who knows honestly. They tried to tell me that one of my struts was out as well, which it is not. I have had broken struts before and it was always so loud to drive. That is not the case with this car at all. I dont know. Dont think that I will be going back to this place just because.

Dave and his crew did an amazing job replacing my catalytic converter. Very good and honest prices and great service. If auto weeks does it, don’t go anywhere else because I had a bad experience at another shop in town and it was like night and day. Auto werks is the place to go

They are the best car repair place around so mn. They fixed all my problems with my Subaru and recommended where to go for my antique car fix up and fixed my tear drop trailer. They can do anything it seems and are friendly and really really helpful. Their prices are fair. It is much better that anywhere else around here.

I love Auto Werks I’m a 3rd year college student and I struggled as a freshmen to find a mechanic in Winona that didn’t have bad reviews and I looked at Auto Werks and asked a few people I work with and they all recommended Auto Werks. I have been coming to them for three years and they have always been helpful, friendly, and speedy with repairs!!!!!!! I recommend them to all my friends and I hope this helps other college students that are unsure of where to go.

Great place and customer service. Very reasonable oil change price for my diesel pickup and they went the extra mile and notified me of a few recalls on my truck. Will deffinetly be going back for future services.

Was very happy with the service. The sales manager Dave explained the issue with my car and was able to fix it very fast for me. Great to work with and will use them again. BTW... Popcorn and pop available as you wait.... :)

We moved to Winona 2 1/2 years ago and I wish I had tried Autowerks first! They got us in quick, listened and found our problem right away. They showed us the part that was giving us trouble and explained how the problem occurs. They did the repair on the spot while I was waiting and charged a usual and reasonable price.

Great experience, awesome place to take your car no matter the issue. Suggest if you are a college student to go to autowerks, they definitely work with you and are transparent to what you absolutely need done with your car which can help out college students who aren’t looking to dump unnecessary money into their cars

I had a very wonderful experience at autowerks they were very professional and straight forward, they also ended up saving me money for stuff I didnt need that other shops recommended because it was broke. I also got free hot chocolate!

I always get great customer service at Autowerks.! Dave, the service manager, explains everything well, and always gives me different options for any repairs needed. Also, they have wifi and a comfortable waiting area. Or they have a shuttle car to take me home and bring me back when the vehicle is done.

Dishonest!! Went in for a simple wheel balance and they tried to con me into a check up for 100$ and when I said no the man at the country got upset like a little child. Then he called me and said a part needs replacing like I am idiot (the part was brand new and fully funtional) at that point I paid my bill and took my keys and got out of there ASAP.Went in for a quick balance, but going to a dishonest shop like this makes you feel scared and sick at the same time. I later heard stories of them breaking parts on cars intentionally during their check up. Finding a good mechanic is tough and trying new garages feels like Russian roulette.

I was traveling across Minnesota in my 97 Winnebago Rialta (VW Eurovan) when a CV joint started making nasty noises. A quick search led me to AutoWerks Tire and Tune and that was my good fortune. They got me in immediately and were able to evaluate the problem and get a new axle shaft by 8:00 the next morning. At 10:30, I was on the road again. The price was fair and exactly as quoted. My vehicle is a little out of the ordinary and it can be hard to find shops willing to work on it. AutoWerks had a totally can-do attitude. Thanks to David, at the front desk, and all the technicians for a job well done.

Didnt find the problem. Worked on the car for 32 minutes. Charged me for the full hour. Dealership charges by the half hour. Feel like I wasted money.

Oil change took over an hour and cost almost $50. Service was rude and condescending. Go to Ace auto instead!

Their master mechanic, Kyle, is one of the two best mechanics I have ever had. (The other was the late Kevin Ryan.) The fact that my VW Passat is running great at 305,000 miles is testimony to their skills.And Charlie, the scheduler/ desk guy, is always quite cheerful and helpful.
