9 years ago, I used the speedometer repair guy to fix the digital instrument cluster on my 94 Caprice. When the digital speedometer failed I contacted the speedometer repair guy to utilize my lifetime warranty. He told me to send it in. In little more than a week, the instrument cluster was returned and worked fine. Thumbs – up

Dave absolutely rocks! I had a failed TCM/TCU from a 1993 Honda Accord that I sent him for a rebuild. He quoted a specific price at the beginning of the job and EVEN THOUGH he had to special order a part from Japan to fix the unit, he stuck to the original price and fixed it like NEW! Ive rarely had such great service. This guy embodies competence, integrity, and perseverance. Ill probably never have to use him again but if I do, it will be with pleasure! What a champ.

After having to purchase a new tail light for my Yukon XL last year for $700 When the other tail light went out I found Speedometer Repair Guy on the internet. Wow Dave and Ryan.are the best, I sent 1st tailight in February and spoke to Dave about the process and timing. Only need the 1 repaired and he shared the thoughts on doing both as the other would fail soon too. Well he was was right 2nd failed Sunday. I shipped 9am Monday and got it back Wednesday morning. Wow works great saved a lot of money and recommend you to everyone with gmc vehicles thank you.

I cant say enough good things. The service was very prompt. I shipped my instrument cluster to them and it was being shipped back to me the next day. The cluster I had repaired was out of a 2003 Silverado with 230,000 miles. The PRND12 indicator hadnt worked in years. The display with the odometer, trip, fuel economy, etc worked intermittently (mostly didnt work). All of the gauges would read lower than actual sometimes. When I received the cluster back EVERYTHING worked! All of the lights were bright. Everything was cleaned. All of the gauges and displays worked. I honestly forgot how bad it had gotten. You cant go wrong with this service.Nick

I sent my dash cluster out of my 02 gmc. Paid for repair and shipping. Got it back about 7 days. I put it back in . 2 days later dash cluster was acting up again. Called he said send it back. Again I paid to send it back. Was shipped back 6 / 7 days later. Worked for about 2 weeks. Was messing up again. Ive called several times. Have not heard from Dave. I cant keep sending it to him at a ups charge of $18.37 per trip. Could have bought a new one with no problems. He probably does great work. Just cant afford back and forth. And its still not working. I have received a call from Dave, and I need to apologize to him. I misunderstood how the gauge repair process went. Dave was extremely nice and we talked and he is going to take care of my problem, he even told me about something else I could check. And if it turned out that my ignition switch was the culprit he would gladly refund me for the charges. He was very kind and helpful and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend his service to anybody wanting good and honest service. Thank you so much Dave.

I had a cluster repaired by him some time ago. It stopped functioning after he repaired it, so I took it back to him. This happened so frequently, I lost count of how many times I had to take it out of my car and into him for repair. When I got it back, it no longer had a warranty sticker on it. I attempted to call him about it and never heard back from him.When it stopped working, again, I attempted to get a hold of him informing him Id be sending him the cluster again. Never heard back.He dishonored his lifetime warranty on his work. Go elsewhere.
