I took my daughter in for highlights and lowlights. Her hair was lighter when we went in versus when we left and we spent over 4 hours at this establishment. I am very disappointed. I expressed my disappointment with the beautician and she ignored me. I left a message for the manager to call me and she would not return my call. I will never return to this establishment! Very unprofessional.

Taylor was my stylist and she listened to what I wanted. Did a great job. Loved getting my hair washed. Magic fingers

I have attempted to get my eyebrows waxed FIVE time in the last 6 weeks and still cant get in. I have tried weekdays, weekends, and calling ahead to check wait times. I am always told it is over an hour wait or more or they are booked through close. Long time customer and family now changing salons.

I wish i gave more stars but unfortunately I have never been in so much tears over a haircut I wanted a invertable Bob and the back of my head has been butchered  overfeathering technique, graduation technique is what they use and have spots that are shorter than the other side. Each side was uneven i get that she was new but asking other hows she doing did not make feel confident about the haircut. Unfortunately will not go back and will find a more experienced hair dresser somewhere else. They offered to fix it but I feel uncomfortable going back.

For some reason I cant remember the name of the girl that did my hair for 8 HOURS!(between 2 days) Thats terrible and I apologize! However, I am grateful for her kindness and patience because the first go at my color did not turn out as I had planned and she tried to correct it immediately. It still wasnt what I wanted. Her and the other kind ladies working told me they could fit me in the next day and she took another go at it and Wa-La! I actually really like it!! If she reads this review, she will know I am talking about her!! Especially when I mention that my HAIR PULLS WARM TONES!! The last two times ive went in have been great!! I have been going totaylor and she has been wonderful! :) She cut both mine and my wifes hair yesterday. Also want to give a shout out to katelynn as well! she has been my go too before taylor but has been booked up the last two times Ive came in.

Got several good cuts here from two different stylists. But the last one did a horrible job and I had to go back to have it fixed by the manager.

I called ahead to make a appointment and they said they are doing walk in, yet I get there and they can’t get me in till after 2pm horrible service and poor communication, can’t say I’ll go back for sure unless they fix this problem.

I feel disappointed in how the stylist didnt listen to how I wanted my hair done and then didnt style after the cut either. She was a referral from my stylist. I will be sticking with someone I trust

Emma was my stylist and did a great job. I always ask for the same haircut wherever I go, this time it looked by far the best. Also, she remembered the conversation we had during the haircut and automatically applied a student discount for me. Dont quote me but it appeared as if there was complimentary coffee and sparkling water in the waiting area too. Easily worth the extra $2 over Great Clips.

Called and immediately, got an appointment which was a pleasant surprise :). Everything went great was quick and clean/sanitary.

Had to wait a bit before I could get in, but it was worth the wait! I had Natasha for the first time and she did an amazing job!! I have unique hair and a unique cut and Natasha was very attentive and asked questions until she was sure that the cut was to my liking. Ive never stayed with one stylist before but I will definitely come back and request her every time!

Went in to get my ends bleached and colored purple. The first time I went it turned out fine but after I got home and took out the style she put in I found out that an ENTIRE SECTION IN THE FRONT WASNT COLORED. I called and got in again to get it fixed. The manager re did it except now it’s blue and doesn’t match the purple. After that appointment I realized that another section wasn’t colored right. I have black hair so it’s very easy to see. Needless to say: I will never return for a color here and they need to re-learn how to do hair

Friendly environment with professional services

Great place with nice staff. My little guy gave them a run for their money but not once did she give up or seem frustrated. They did a great job.

Moderately priced, utilitarian haircut. Dont be surprised if youre busting out the clipper when you get home to adjust a few spots that didnt get cut when you were in the chair. Not the worst haircut but a bit more care instead cranking people out as quickly as possible would most likely improve the quality of the service.

Literally, a haircut in 5 minutes. 3 on the top one on the side, blend in between. She started cutting and then asked 3 on top 2 on the sides?. I just went with it to make it easy. 5 minutes later she doesnt even bother wiping the hair from my head asks if its good. Checked a little but was in a rush so not very well. Buzzed a bunch of hair leading over the ear on one side and less on the other. The back was very uneven for the neck line. When I got home my wife had to trim so many long hairs that she missed that i cant believe I have her a tip for this. Called the manager a day or two later and was told she was giving a cut and would call back in a few minutes. Didnt get a call back for 4 and a half hours until I was at work. Worst haircut Ive ever had for 17$. This is a kids who dont care place only. Their fast food haircut style mentality makes for poor cuts that arent even worth paying for. Very disappointed and I learned my lesson. Never going there again!

Staff here are very friendly and do a good job! However, it did smell like a sewer when I went here the last time, which was less than favorable. The lady I had cutting my hair kept getting distracted and staring off during my haircut. She did a good job with the haircut, but it did take probably almost 10 minutes longer to get it done because she kept zoning out.

I understand that when its quitting time, you schedule your last haircut at 6:15 or 6:30pm. Its ridiculous when I call and ask if any times are open, my fiance and daughter come in at 5:45pm and he is told that they are all booked, with only ONE, ONE CUSTOMER thats on their way to pay and leave. Nice business, or no business.

Always professional, friendly, and timely! I couldnt ask for better hair cuts, I go every time and they always go above and beyond! 10/10 reccomend!

Fantastic sams is a great place to get your hair cut or trimmed to look much better for a loved one and a feel good about yourself the professionals there are professional and very good at their craft.

This salon doesnt take phone reservations, and they only take SAME DAY walk-in reservations. So, for example (an example THEY gave me), you might want to stop in on your way to work in the morning to schedule services for the afternoon or evening.This is simply not possible for everyone, particularly if you dont live right in town, if you DONT go to work in the morning, or if youre just not able to make two trips out in one day (for example, people who dont have their own vehicle and must rely on public transit, Uber, or friends to get around).There do not seem to be ANY exceptions to this Rule, unless you choose to simply sit in the salon and WAIT for your same-day appointment time, which, depending on how busy they are and what you require, may be several hours.My experience with their cuts has been mixed leaning toward the positive. If you come in knowing exactly what you want and can show good pictures, Ive found that you can usually get a pretty nice cut, but youve got to be willing and able to answer questions about what you want.You might want to do some internet research on the styles you like so that you understand a LITTLE BIT about what the hair is supposed to do, and know some terminology, like layered, stacked, bob or pixie, piecey, etc. depending on what you want.For inexpensive haircuts, Fantastic Sams beats other local walk-in salons, as they seem to go a step further than simply making hair SHORTER than it was.What drops them to 3 stars from a possible 4 is the inability to make same-day phone appointments and the sometimes VERY long wait to see a stylist.Additionally, the EVER-SO-SLIGHTLY snippy (ha!) attitude of one of the front desk attendants when I recently asked about their same day appointment policies rather turned me off. The implication was that *I* the customer was inconveniencing THEM by asking them to accommodate my time constraints. Theyre response was less than apologetic and a little bit apathetic as to whether or not I ever returned.As Ive been treated well enough there in the past when they were NOT so busy, I gave it a pass this time, but they could improve on at least the APPEARANCE of being sorry that they cant accommodate you.YMMV

Ive been going to Fantastic Sams for a few years and always have the same stylist. She does a great job on my hair. However, they have this policy that you cannot call for an appointment. You can stop in at 9am and set an appointment for 6pm but you cannot call in. To do so I was told would take away from their walk in customers. How is calling in doing so any more than going there to make an appointment almost an entire business day ahead of time? I broke my ankle and have limited mobility right now, cannot drive, and have no way to get there ahead of time to make an appointment for later in the day. You would think given the circumstances, they would make an exception. Nope. This is the only business Ive dealt with who couldnt be troubled to take into account circumstances to make an exception, even after talking to a manager. I was told I could have a friend stop in and put my name down for later in the day... really? how is that any different?

Never a bad cut, although Ive had cuts from adequate to amazing. The stylists listen and do their best to give you what you want.

I have taken my son here for the past 5 years and every single haircut they messed up and the last time I took him there my son explained how he wanted his hair done hoping they could get it right and they said to him geez your picky, and they messed that one up once again, shouldnt we all be picky about our hair first of all, though he isnt picky at all, I beginning to think they purposely mess up on hair, very rude people as well, we learned our lesson to not go back

Tanya or Tonya did a great job on my blunt bang pixie cut..She stopped a few times to let me see what she was creating and asked for my input..She held convo and was welcoming..I got right in because I had enough time in my morning to go before they opened..

Extremely do not recommend. This lady shaved a triangle on my head and my entire haircut was uneven.

I have never gotten in and out in 20 minutes, anyone claiming that is flat out lying. At best expect 40 minutes(20 minute wait included) at worst an hour plus, if they don’t tell you they are booked for the rest of the day 2 hours before they close. Seldom have a great experience here, typically a “c” grade haircut at a “b” grade price and a crapshoot on how long it will take. Seriously if your going to make people wait over 15 minutes take reservations on the phone, or stop doing perms and color, it takes too long in a “no reservation needed” environment.

I walk in the door and someone is always there to cut my hair right away! They are also very nice and do a wonderful job.

My 27 year old boyfriend came home looking like a 12 year old whos mother with no salon experience or cares in the world cut his hair. It was cut so much shorter than he asked for. The woman didnt pay attention to his cowlicks. There are random long chunks amid absurdly short strips. No fading whatsoever. His hair just looks so stupid and there is nothing to be done about it. Thank god his hair grows fast.

This place, sucks. NOT the girls the lying. Its going to be 45 mins, its going to be 30 mins, and the last two times its been over an hour to an hour and a half with no explanation, no nothing, I would understand a wait but dont lie. Just be honest, or get educated.
