We are horrible coffee snobs and this is the first cup of coffee Ive had at a coffee shop in town that I dont have a complaint about! Roasted perfectly and so delicious! The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. I come here a couple of times a week to enjoy the amazing brew and do a little studying. They also have local art hung around the shop as well as Jamaican eats and sodas! Great place!!

By good is a great place to meet up with some friends or chill and get a little work done. The device is awesome and the coffee is superb. Try a cinnamon muffin or another treat. They also make healthy smoothies and serve some empanadas. I highly recommend BuGood Coffe!

We were visiting from out of town and we stumbled upon this national treasure. The coffee, tea, smoothies and Jamaican Jerk chicken pies are outstanding.The owners were super cool and experts of their craft.

I had the best vanilla bean latte with a Jamaican jerk chicken patty. Everyone was super friendly and the options are limitless. There is an amazing ambiance with great buyable artwork by local artists. Its definitely out of my way to get to, but is absolutely worth the stop. I cant wait to bring my family back with me.

Really kind, personable service! I loved getting to try a brand new flavor which was a revelation for me. Combination of matcha and chai! Didn’t think that it could work but I had hope lol. I usually can swig my drinks very quickly, so this definitely made me slow down and appreciate each city. Love the art around the shop as well!

Great place to get a specialty coffee or tea, also offering a variety of delicious pastries, and probably the only place in town for authentic Jamaican food (I cannot remember the proper name for them, but multiple types usually sold out by early afternoon). Met up with friends for a delightful visit. Pet friendly. Come down Marshall Street to Brookstown and then park in the lot through the Cherry Street access. Owners are terrific.

You can tell that there is a lot of love that goes into their coffee! The beans are very high quality and the chai is made on site (YUM). I loved looking at the beautiful art on the walls. Thank you for talking coffee with me for a while and for fueling my long study day with an outrageous number of espresso shots! Much appreciated! Ill definitely be back next time I need a treat!

What a great coffee shop! Friendly, helpful service and yummy drinks! We had a customized latte and a cinnagin cold brew (homemade cinnamon and ginger syrups). They roast their own beans and make their own pastries. Highly recommend!

Such a wonderful little find in a wonderful little shopping center. The couple that owns this place is precious! They are kind and funny! I love the atmosphere and all of the socially distanced tables around so that i can do my homework! The outdoor seating area is also the best!

Coffee is delicious, smooth and service was top notch! Our first visit, walked us through the coffees they had, roasting styles and options for drinks. We went with 2 pour overs to try a few and ended up with a bag of the Costa Rica. Super small lot micro roaster here and it shows in the quality. Great space inside.

The mocha and cheese Danish was great. I just wish they had a microwave to heat the Danish instead of an oven. I like it soft and warm not toasted.

Maybe it was a fluke on the day I went in but this place was a mess. The staff was openly arguing over orders and several mistakes were made. The place looks like they are still moving in. The Twin City Hive used to be my favorite spot, I’m sad that ByGood hasn’t kept up with it. Hopefully it will turn around! The chai I got was good :)

I love love love this place! I was hooked from the first time I tried their coffee til now- almost a year later. The red velvet latte is exceptional! I cant say enough good things about the owners, their kindness, and the quality of their coffee. I love that they have a variety of specialty coffees rather than just normal customizable beverages and wonderful baked goods. Ive recommended this coffee shop to more people than I can remember and hope they continue to flourish!

Beautiful Space, but the vibe and friendly staff take this to the next level. I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I think its safe to say they made the best cup of coffee I have ever had. A touch of caramel flavor and almond milk. Im in love. I dont live locally though I will make this journey every Sunday because its that great.

Splendid customer service, large selection of coffees, teas, different flavors, and vegan baked goodies. The coffee was very good, but not worth the price I paid. I removed a star due to the cost. A plain hot 12oz tea is over $3. I found that a little unreasonable. This was my first time here, and the board with the menu and prices listed non-dairy as an additional 75 cents. Ok, thats the usual price youd see at most coffee shops. However, as I was being rung up, I was charged a full $1 just for requesting a non-dairy milk, and was told that the price went up and hadnt been updated yet. I got the simplest 12oz latte and it came out to be nearly $6. I wouldve never ordered it if I had known beforehand, but I was already late for an appointment. I appreciate what theyre trying to do here by expanding their options for people with certain restrictions. But I refuse to support any business that takes advantage of customers like me who have dairy allergies. It isnt right or fair. I urge this cafe to consider lowering the price back down (if it was ever even raised in the first place). Then maybe Id give them another shot.

Wonderful! The owners and baristas are so friendly and kind - come here and chat with them if you need a pick me up in addition to the coffee! Ms. Abby the owner is from Trinidad and goes out of her way to create a welcoming atmosphere (and her GF coconut brownies are delicious!). Will definitely return to do my remote work and chill out - happy to support small, locally-owned business in Winston.

I wish I lived in Winston-Salem just so I could come here more often. The atmosphere is amazing and very relaxed. One of my favorite parts was the LGBTQ+ friendly/safe place sticker on the door. My wife and I got married in October last year and although our community is being integrated more easily it’s still a sigh of relief to see places supporting us and making us feel welcome.I got the Artisan Hot Chocolate and added a shot of espresso and it is delicious! Gives it more of a dark chocolate taste. I love this place and whenever I’m in the area again I will definitely be stopping in!

As a local coffee shop lover, ByGood is one of my absolute favorites! it has such a quaint atmosphere, excellent music, and of course delicious coffee! They also have the best blueberry scones, banana nut muffins, brownies, and homemade waffles you will ever taste! Abby and Darryl, the owners, are two of the nicest most genuine people you’ll ever meet. I also love the fact that they have organic oat milk as a non-dairy milk choice. I highly recommend this spot! 😋❤️

First time there today, absolutely amazing!! Abby the barista (and owner I think) helped me pick a tea that I would like. They had seasonal offerings in addition to all the usual coffee/tea offering. They had amazing pastries. The layout of the coffee shop will allow you to sit away from others if you choose so, which is convenient during the pandemic. Amazing new local spot with amazing owners!! Cant wait to go back!!

I went in the other day by chance because the other nearby coffee shops were closed and was not disappointed. Although the decor might not look like the usual 3rd wave coffee shop, don’t let it fool you because they make some high quality coffee.They roast their own beans in house, use house made syrups, and offer great service (hats off to Darrell for making sure I got juuust the right amount of vanilla in my latte, it made my day!).Will be coming again soon!

I ordered the cinnamon honey latte and it was delicious! My husband is very picky when it comes to coffees and teas and never finishes a whole cup. He ordered the Matcha Chai Latte with no water and it was finished by the time we walked to our inn across the street! Definitely will come back here when in town again. The owners were wonderful and worked with his special requests!

Fantastic new ☕ coffee shop in Winston-Salem. They toast their own beans, have excellent varieties of 🥐 pastries, smoothies, drip and pour over coffee, espresso drinks, beans for sale, and merchandise. They have a ♿ handicap accessible entrance, restrooms, seating and parking. Tons of indoor and outdoor space for working or lounging as well. I highly recommend their Ethiopian beans with a pour over.

Best coffee experience ever!! They care about the entire process of your coffee experience, so much so, that they make almost everything in the shop. They roast their own beans, filter all their water used in each drink, make many of the syrups used in your drinks, and hand make ALL of the teas. So, if youre looking for a rich experience for your taste buds, give these guys a try. Once you try them, you will find yourself going back again and again. My personal favorites; Red velvet drink, hot chai tea and a hot carmel macchiato latte. Please try all of these, except the Chai. I want this drink for myself. (Sorry, but this is literally my favorite.)

I had the cinnamon latte and he had the cafe machiato and neither of us could stop drinking each other’s drink! We also tried the beef and jerk chicken patties, and as a Caribbean women, i 100% approve! The jerk chicken ones are our favorites. We’ll definitely be back!

Out of town visitors!This place is amazing! Delicious coffee made from fresh organic ingredients. They hand shake the espresso and it makes the coffee so good! The owners are a very sweet couple that have a passion for coffee and their product shows that! I’d give more stars if possible!

This place is far, but the coffee is awesome. I dont drink coffee, but I had a sample and it was delicious. Sorry, but it is better than Starbucks and Dunking Donuts by far. If you dont believe me, swing by one day and try it yourself, believe me its worth it... Now I am hooked.. lol

This is for the Winston-Salem Location.Coffee selection of drinks is vast and can fit all taste. As a black coffee consumer, I found the blend a bit too weak in strength.Tea selection is offered as well as multiple food items such as muffins and waffles.The environment is loud compared to Twin City Hive which had a more studious environment. (Locals will understand)Owners were friendly. This is not my first option to get a coffee and sit a spell but it is worth a visit.

Im not even a coffee drinker, but my very first experience was great!!!!!! I ordered the hand shaken citrus tea, with a blueberry scone and pumpkin muffin. It was so good I went back and got another scone❤ I will be back very soon!!!!

Amazing espresso/coffee roasted by a husband and wife duo that are super knowledgeable and extremely sweet!!! Probably one of my favorite experiences at a roaster ever. Add to the the proximity to my apartment and this place is a grand slam!!! I rarely find 3rd wave coffee shops where I dont need to add even a gram of sugar to my espresso. If you havent been here yet, make it a priority to go!!!!!

My husband and I love BYGood Coffee everytime we go we are never disappointed ! Definitely worth trying, the lemon Bundt cake ice coffee and the caramel macchiato definitely a sure favorite !

We ended up here because the nearby Starbucks closed and we are so glad we did. They grind the coffee fresh, I had, perhaps the best mocha ever, my wife loved her cappuccino and the waffle with fruit and fresh home-made whipped cream was awesome. A gem of a coffee shop and we will be back, often.

Went to this place one Sunday morning with my Sister.....lovely place and the staff was so friendly and welcoming as well as accomodating. My sister had the waffle with fresh fruit which was amazing and sizeable I might add, I had coffee,(each cup is brewed individually).You could taste the freshness in every sip. The amazing service is followed along with a great cup of coffee and if youre hungry totally recommend their Belgium waffle served with fruit of your choice and you need to ask for their house made whip cream. I always start my Saturday by coming here to see the wonderful smiles by the owners.
