In town for the Bookmarks book festival and stopped in for breakfast. Super delicious ‘breakfast cookie’ and wonderful latte! Guys were friendly and service couldn’t have been better! And what a cool atmosphere… converted an old service station!

Stopped by here with some friends. Every drink we got was fantastic. It was very spacious inside with ample room for social distancing and there was outside seating. Customer service was great would recommend to anybody who loves coffee!

Cool spot in an old gas station in a residential area. We got coffee and a bagel, and both were good. Lots of outside seating. We went on Sunday at noon and it was pretty quiet.

What a fantastic third wave style coffee shop! Both the Americano and Latte were on point and we took home some great Locally Roasted Small Batch Ethiopian and Guatemalan beans. Baristas and owner are super friendly and knowledgeable and Known Coffee, although new, is one of those places that oozes community from the heart of its owner Sean Scott.Take some time to stop, sit and sip a cup or two.Outdoor picnic tables are a great hang spot.Family friendly, and shared space with Campus Gas Burger spot.

Espresso was dialed in well. The brand of oat milk they had was great. Waited a little longer in line to order than I would’ve liked. But over all a great place to get some specialty coffee.

Had a delicious maple americano with cinnamon! The owners and staff are so friendly. We just moved to town and found a great place to clear our heads and get good local brews. I really appreciated that mine wasn’t too sweet!The atmosphere is so unique and fun, it’s an old gas station in a residential area turned into this funky cafe. The lights on the roof are cute, all the tables are live edge slabs of beautiful wood. Definitely worth more than one visit, this is easily a spot to be a regular at.

My mom and I came here last weekend for coffee and it was so good. The employees were very nice and the place is so cute.

Known is always a great place to go! One of the few shops close to that side of town

They have great coffee, their espresso is unique and actually tastes like blueberries (normally I dont buy into all that tasting notes nonsense) my gripe with this place is that why would you call yourself known coffee if 3 of the 5 times Ive been there they werent serving coffee? They stop serving coffee at 2pm, I need my afternoon pick me up to keep me going through the day. I get that for the students that frequent the place 2pm is beer o clock, but some of us need to work until 6 or 7.

Best coffee I have had in a long time! The atmosphere is really unique too. I love that they took the old gas station and made it into something new. We will definitely be back!

Always interested in trying new spots. Especially places who roast their own beans. Espresso is really smooth. I Really enjoyed the cortado. It doesn’t seem like they use barista blend dairy alternatives but if you order the oat milk you can’t really tell a taste difference.Great spot to sit outside and the staff has been really nice every time I’ve been in.

Amazing coffee and other drinks. My favorite is the iced chai! Huge plus that it is walking distance from Wake Forest University. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Great pastries too!! Whenever they make a mistake they are always willing to correct it. Once got a pastry that I wasn’t fond of and they corrected it rig her away. Great atmosphere and staff and great addition to campus gas!!

Great freshly roasted coffee from guys that know their craft. Ask them anything about coffee! A full bodied coffee without the bite. The breakfast cookie is a classic from Sean’s first days. No need to worry about social distancing. They have plenty of space.

Just got our delicious smelling beans in the mail excited to brew our Ethiopian beans as recommended by the knowledgeable owner. I love that we have a great spot to stop in when we travel to NC but can still get my coffee delivered in the mail when we’re at home in Florida. Keep it up Sean!

Thrilled to have a local coffee shop within walking distance of Wake! I have tried my fair share of cappuccinos while traveling across the States and Known Coffee’s is one of the best. I highly recommend!

Clean and sharp, this new shop in winston is a perfect atmosphere for college students and families alike. With lots of outdoor seating, it is easy to maintain social distancing and enjoy a trip out of the house. The friendly staff are full of knowledge and recommendations for coffee and beer.

This place is wonderful! The service is always top notch and very friendly. Clean, classic coffee menu with good variety of roasts, take home coffee is also great!

I’ve known the owner of this coffee shop for a few years now, and back from his days of changing the coffee world and social landscape in West Palm Beach, FL. What he did for our community down here is beyond special and I know that when I’m passing through Winston-Salem next, this is already on my list!!! I know this coffee will be good!!!
