Washington Perk has great made to order sandwiches, as well as espresso drinks, and other groceries and supplies. It has very eclectic decorations. Located in the center of downtown, it’s really a great location as well

The new owner is very rude n for my sausage,egg, and cheese bagel to be made fresh. Wasnt hot at all. Ill go to Caminos from here on out.

The NEW iced tea is so freaking refreshing and FRESH! The service is impeccable and bright. For my fellow bicyclists, Mothers with strollers or anyone utilizing wheelchairs etc you are more than encouraged to bring your wheeled vehicle inside. I stopped by for ANOTHER iced tea, dont judge me😂😂and was greeted by Bill as I peeled myself from my bike who shared this lovely tidbit of pertinent information with me. Its a grocery, coffee and sandwich shop. The sandwiches are made right and front of you and you can get a soda from the coolers. The staff are nice.

Coffee was definitely not that great but the place was okay and the environment was as well I would definitely come back not for the coffee but just to sit there and use the free Wi-Fi. They sell tobacco products too if you smoke I bought a pack of cigarettes overall decent store originally gave it three now Ill give it a four.

That Sausage Waffle is off this planet. Cant wait to get another one! I also highly recommend the Pimento Cheese at the grill area.

Went here like twice back in college. Nice place, just not my vibe. I never wanna tear down a family-owned business but the one and only time I ever ordered from the deli, I found a bug in my sandwhich.Maybe now, in a post covid world, there sanitation guidelines are a little bit better. Nice folks tho!

Absolutely a cool spot! Got chicken salad on multi-grain bread. Just a little too much pepper. Other than that, awesome spot!

Veggie pita was delicious! Got 3 in one day!6/21 Update; depends on which employee makes the veggie pita or any sandwich. Got one today. Did not get what I ordered. The guy behind the counter even insisted on me filling out a order ticket with everything I wanted on it. (as he requests every time). And the pita was just demolished. Ate it with a fork and knife. I know, I know. Mistakes happen. However, this show of consistent negligence from this guy makes me feel like he really doesn’t care if customers return or not. Hopefully things change.

Nice people, nice place.After a terrible experience with Charm Thai down the road, I stopped in to eat. Great deals on food and plenty of beverages to choose from.The staff was nice and let me chill at a large table and enjoy some peaceful music and some good drinks.You should stop in if youre ever walking around and want a quick bite or a cheap drink.

I’ve seen allot of posts about the rude staff so I was hesitant at first. They just seem like introverted people to me, nice dudes. Good coffee and all around cool spot, they’ve done a good job here.

Cool little mixed market shop: grocer, coffee shop, ice cream joint. Good selection of provisions, good coffee & friendly staff. Seating isn’t very comfortable.

I really do want to love Washington Perk. They’ve got a lot of great things going for them but the cons are pretty strong. In their favor is their location, excellent coffee, eclectic vibe, and their homemade muffins at the register are great. However, their other coffee drinks are clearly sub-par, seating options incredibly uncomfortable even for 10 minutes, and their staff is hit or miss with customer service.At the end of the day, everything they do is done okay but okay doesn’t cut it when there are so many other amazing local places in the very near vicinity.

Great local merchandise. The custard is awesome. Where else can you get a dozen eggs, a cup of coffee, ice cream and a fresh made deli sandwich in downtown.

I come here usually if CAMINO`S is busy, but I must say I never know what to expect in terms of what kind of mood the two gentlemen who work during the day might be in.....I brought a friend here for lunch, we didnt really feel welcomed....The evening crew is fine, but the morning guys I feel like Im walking on egg shells.....It shouldnt be that way....

This place looked super cool and made a good Reuben, but the staff were just gratuitously rude. My brother and I ordered sandwiches. I asked at the front about the WiFi password, and the guy treated me with such open contempt for no reason that I just stood there in disbelief.I don’t expect people to put on a cheerful facade just to do their job. But I do expect to be treated with a modicum of respect. As much as I tried not to let it, this really upset me. I won’t be coming back here.

Chill place to get work done and get anything. Deli could be better. The frozen custard is BOMB. The produce is great quality and varies in price. Definetly a gem of the city and a unique hangout spot.

Friendly staff the Wednesday night we came however 2 different coffee drinks were made for us and they were both Horrible.. You might wanna rethink getting coffee here.

I was excited to come in and try some of there sandwiches; their menu looked pretty descent and i just wanted to check them out to put on my food page. As I walk in I wasnt sure where to go ( Being my first time there) to order and so one guy in the front counter really didnt greet me, just asked me what I wanted and i responded that i was excited to try a sandwich or bagel, all he said was Go to the back ( like if i knew where i had to go) so i was like Okaaay, so i start making my way towards the back, and another older guy looked at me with a confused frown like why Im walking back here, asked can i help you? I told him Yeah, I wanted a Bagel with ..and didnt let me finish talking just said fill out that little sheet on the desk with what you want, (like if i new what i had to do) So i handed him my sheet, but at this point i didnt even want to be a bother or eat there anymore, I mean no good customer service at all, I just told him to cancel my order and to have a great day I wasnt about to spend my money there, no good vibes at all, I know we are human and we have bad days, but I was having a great day and their vibes were just so ugh! Not going back there for sure. :)

Nice little grocery store that also has a small deli making fresh sandwiches in the back and ice cream/gelato in the front. Some prices are high (it is a downtown grocery store), but most are perfectly reasonable. You can purchase quite a few locally made foods here.

You pay a small price for the convenience factor but the cozy ambience and local choices makes it worth it

Pretty cool store that doesnt quite know what it wants to be. Cant really do groceries here, shelves are stocked with eccentrics I dont think Id ever buy. Beer is good, havent tried the coffee. Its the closest thing to a convenience store downtown that also serves iced cream/gelato.Dont regret getting a sandwich here, its stellar! Gnarly little local coffee shop on the left side. Nice little local grocery store on the right. The employees are always very nice and willing to help. Good spot for breakfast.

Just a little convenience store with no kitchen. Just prepared food in a wrapper. They are dog friendly so bring your Pooch in when you stop by during your walk.

Went here for some soda and ice cream, my girlfriend dropped her glass coke right after we left and they gave us a new one free of charge. Good ice cream and great customer service.

One of our go to spots for lunchtime sandwiches. Quick, yummy, cheap. Everyone is very friendly, and its a convenient place downtown to pick up beer/wine in a pinch.

I love their coffee and their cheap bacon, egg &.cheese biscuits. They will let you drink bottles of beer there on the booths if they open the bottles for you and you return them before the next round. Its okay.

Male employee was super rude when I ordered and he didnt even offer me my change, he just put it in his tip jar. I will always remember him because he honestly was so rude and hateful with me for no reason. I only ordered a large coffee and asked for creamer, he threw the creamer jug onto the counter. I legit mean threw it on the counter when I asked for it. I dont get why he was so hateful I was so polite.

Disappointing store that could be so much more! Good selection of beer but thats about it. If you want actual food or good wine, youll have to go to Whole Foods or the local farmers market because this business does not seem interested in actually serving the downtown area with real food. Staff is poorly trained and unhelpful. Boo.

Im a big fan of this little shop for some groceries or frozen goods if you live downtown. They do have a little deli and sushi station along with coffee and ice cream and beer as well. Try some locally-sourced goodies or chocolate as well!. Friendly staff but sometimes they are out of stock of the best stuff.

The sandwich counter in the back is a great option for a good basic lunch where you mix and match your own bread, cheese, meat, and toppings. One of the best deals downtown

If I could have given this negative stars but there isnt any! They were super rude!! I have never been treated with such disrespect is my life! We are dressed up so we dont look like trash. But my mother in law went in to use the restroom and I was walking in to order behind her and they told her she couldnt use the restroom! Then they kept pressuring me to hurry up and order but I was trying to get my dying grandma was in a wheel chair and I was having a hard time getting her in the door! The place is a piece of trash and they didnt even say thank u or bye or nothing! Dont waste ur time the food is over priced and not that great!

Ask first! As soon as you walk in this grocery/deli/coffee shop, ask the first worker you see how to get what you need. We stood in three lines only to be told that you get bagels in the back. A bagel is 99 cents, with cream cheese, $2.25. The cream cheese was spread as thin as a scraping of butter.Camino Bakery across the street had a line out the door. I know why.Very frustrating place to do business. Lots of workers, but no flow.The bagel tasted good.

This is kind of an eclectic spot. They have espresso drinks, coffee, gelato, and also serve some basic food. I like that they serve Chads Chai in their chai tea lattes. Be warned that you have to ask for them to sweeten it if you like your chai sweet.Its not the best place to hang out to work, but its a fine place to grab a bite to eat. As far as Im concerned, the chai makes it worth stopping.

Though its nice to have a market downtown, the limited inventory and higher prices were frustrating.

Wont be going back here again. Despite the fact that their coffee menu specifically states you could get any coffee beverage over ice, instead of getting my macchiato over ice, I got accused of being a Starbucks drinker and a rather condescending lecture instead. I guess making a macchiato with cold milk instead of steamed, and pouring it over some ice was too complicated for the guy behind the counter. I ended up leaving with a drink I didnt want just to placate the guy.

Grateful atmosphere, and the best sandwiches in the city. Ask for Bill.

The process to order a sandwich was terrible. The worker could not handle it, and after telling her the correct order she still did it incorrectly, and proceeded to argue about it.
