Shorte lived experience, as I have heard they are closing.because of the pandemic they are unable to sustain the business. Amazing pies Im sorry I only got to try the delicious pies the short 2 mo Ive been here. Sure hope when all this crazy stuff is over theyll come back.

We are a family of coffee snobs and this place did not disappoint. Nice selection and fantastic service. Gave us a great caffeine kick off to a day spent in the area visiting wineries.

Seriously good...wait... flaky a.f. pie crusts. Fantastic flavors of pie. The brownies are rich and just the perfect blend of fudgy and cakey (not to mention HUGE). The coffee is always delicious. And the atmosphere, even during the chaos of covid, has been on of welcome and friendship.

This place is fun and delicious The staff here are helpful, they communicate with respect and clarity. Will continue to frequent this location when in town. 😁 Thank you West End for making me feel welcomed.

My insurance guy, a great friend who truly searches for very best policy to suit me (actually all his clients!)anyway we met there to complete my paperwork. Its my 1st visit since former owner Alex, who I totally loved! Anyway, though the young lady who waited on us was little slow, our coffees were great...as we finished a happy upbeat young man came from I guess the office area...his upbeat attitude was infectious...at least I felt It! I left with a smile...great coffee and best insurance my friend could find for me! So Win Win Win!

This is a local coffee shop near my office. My colleagues and I use this as a second office. I have had just about every flavor of coffee he offers and they are all good. The pastries are very good as well. Will definitely be back!

I had heard about a macaroni and cheese pie that was served here and couldnt wait to try it. It was sooo good. You need to follow them on social media because she does not always have the pie and when she does it sells fast. I also had a caramel macchaito which was perfection. My husband had a slice of coconut cream pie and my son had the triple berry gelato and both were delicious. Inviting interior just begs for you to sit and stay awhile and there is an outdoor patio to enjoy the comings and goings of downtown.

One of my favorite cafes and ☕ coffee shops in town. They have show-stopping homemade 🥧 pies here. Key lime, 🥜 peanut butter, black forest, cobbler, fruit pies, and even a macaroni and 🧀 cheese pie. They also have delicious gelato with unique flavors like biscoff cookie, blood 🍊 orange, and my favorite...Black Mountain chocolate gelato. The owners are incredibly friendly and hospitable. They also have good coffee options and espresso drinks. ♿ Handicap parking, seating, and restrooms are also available.

Great local spot with owner/operators who care and it shows. Excellent gelato, pies/cakes, and local goods as well. Pleased to have them in Downtown WS.

Not too busy on a Sunday, with lots of free tables at which to study. Coffee wasn’t bad, but the selection of baked goods was sparse.

Amazing gelato made in-store, and theres always a new creative flavor to try. Great coffee offerings in a relaxed atmosphere, sandwiches and pastries, and even a curated beer/wine menu. Highly recommended.

Love this place. Baked goods are primo, and the gelato is maybe the best ive had. Nice little downtown patio, as well, and dog friendly. Plus, they have cold brew and nitrogen charged coffee, both of which are like coffee crack. To top it off, the owners are just fine humans. About cant lose.

Always a nice place, staff always freindly w a smile, cozy, good coffee, great baked goods (if you get them before they get wiped out), newly expanded menu. Nice place, worth a stop if youre in that area.

Cafe mocha and chocolat gelato was superb. Local to my neighborhood and better then Starbucks. Also pet friendly!

Lots of hot and cold coffee and non coffee drinks available! Had a latte and a chocolate frapp. About 15 gelato flavors all looked good as well as other desserts. Not overly busy but a steady crowd. In a good location dowtown. Will visit again.

Only been here once since the newer ownership, and I loved it! Tried some gelato: delicious. Ate a cherry turnover (apparently from Cheesecakes by Alex -- an excellent choice!), and it was the best Id ever had. My matcha latte was fantastic. The barista was friendly, and she knew her products. I asked her lots of questions about the menu, all of which she took time to answer thoroughly. Great little spot!

Barista was very friendly but didnt know where the espresso beans originate. Espresso tastes like its made with municipal water and was scorched. Not impressed with the coffee or the price of gelato ($3.75 for a small).Pass

This is a great place to get a good cup of coffee for a variety of reasons. The first is the coffee, I believe this is the best iced coffee in Winston-Salem. I also have had a bunch of their other coffee beverages including chai lattes, hot iced and frozen mochas, regular black coffee and hot chocolate. Each drink is made with with the same care and precision.Their gelato is also very good, plenty of flavors to choose from. I dont frequently eat gelato but it is a good balance of flavor and sweetness. Not quite as sweet as typical icecream, but the texture and quality flavorings make it a treat. Its creamy and smooth without icecrystals, as you would see at other places.The staff at West End Coffeehouse are courteous professionals who are friendly. Ive never had an issue.I like the basic vibe, no pretense here unlike other coffee shops. I have never seen it crowded with a bunch of people on laptops, but it isnt barren either. The average patron seems to be a person on the go. Make no mistake, Its plenty comfortable with couches and chairs. Ive spent over an hour here before enjoying the conversation with friends and family.Parking is also very easy and free, making it a great place to stop on a lunch hour.Another important factor for me is that they are dog friendly.All around, my goto spot downtown for a great coffee experience.
