Great presentation of a wide variety of high-end fresh, gourmet, healthy, vegetarian,vegan, free-range, grass-fed, organic, etc. speciality foods with impeccably clean designer color-coordinated merchandise presentation & enjoyably shopping environment! ! The only hitch being a ‘Biggie’ (The main Reason I assigned 4 stars rather than 5 stars - rather over-priced merchandise compared to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Lowe’s Food & Harris-Tetter, where I can find the same, comparable or more favorable merchandise for lower or much lower prices.

I have always loved a relaxed visit to Fresh Market and today was no exception. The sights and smells are heavenly and of course the taste of the fresh brewed coffee samples! Exquisite experience.

So glad we found this store! After moving from Los Angeles, we hadnt found a comparable grocery store with over the top fresh fruit and vegtables until now! Everthing we have tried is great. The pastries are unbelievable fresh and amazig. Great customer service as well, which is a rarity to find. VERY IMPRESSED! Thanks

Very clean. They offer a vast variety of specialty items that you cant find in other stores. A great bakery with a large selection of cakes cookies and baked goods. They have a nice wine selection. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. They now offer sushi too.

Excellent grocery store and customer service. Always in stock, clean and fresh products no pun intended. The one time I did have an issue with the bottle of wine I bought, they offered to replace the bottle for free, no questions asked. They certainly stand behind every purchase made and make every effort to take care of their customers. I highly recommend this store for all your grocery needs! We went for years to the original Fresh Market in Greensboro. We moved to Winston Salem 3 years ago. Yesterday we went to the local store .got the twice baked potato which was horrible. Instant potatoes replaced the original potatoes we use to get.The homemade pimento cheese has replaced with on that tasted like pub cheese.FM ain’t like it use to be.

We found everything we needed for a quick dinner at home instead of ordering takeout.

A great spot for a quick grocery run. Nice meat and fish selection. Nice wine selection. The meal deals and pre-made dishes are almost always amazing. You pay for the quality and convenience, but the quality is good. The service is great.

Pricey but expected, I was quite annoyed because I bought this naan bread literally yesterday, opened it and there mold in it, not just a little too. Im not driving 10min to return but it calls into question is it really a fresh market.... disappointed.

We are good regular customers. This complaint will not change that.For New Years we purchased a 3 lb $63 standing rib roast. Very very tough and no flavor. Pulled the roast at exactly 118 degrees. Let it stand to 125. Could not cut it with table steak knives.The dogs liked it.We are still customers here just feel bad about wasting 63 bucks for a hard grainy piece of meat.UPDATEThe response from owner would have readers believe they cared and handled the problem. What really happened is we called, no answer, left a message end of conversation. Never heard from them.UPDATE.FM did call 6 days ago. We worked out something I’m happy with. But still waiting for it to arrive. Mail problem I think. When it arrives will change status of this review.UPDATEThe agreed upon settlement arrived and we are delighted. A good, for real place to do business!

Grocery shopping is never a chore when you go to The Fresh Market! You can count on the best quality produce and specialty items. Love their Little Big Meals - a full family dinner (customizable) $20-$25. Also great for the older folks needing help with meals during the pandemic.

Relatively well laid out with a decent selection for a small grocery store. Ive just discovered I can get good sushi here for half what I spend to go out, so Im pretty thrilled about that. Thus far, the sushi has been just as good, and the chefs are wonderful and will make what you request as well.

My absolute favorite place to grocery shop in Forsyth County. There is something about the atmosphere and all of the fresh foods on display that just inspires you to cook. The meat is always fresh and the produce looks great. They source from a lot of local farmers in NC so you can feel good supporting your state. Fresh Market also has ingredients, spices, and sauces I cant find anywhere else. The people here are friendly and always helpful. I highly recomend this location

Its a nice place. I like that the outline is a little different. Wish they had a better stock of dairyfree/soyfree ice cream sandwiches etc. But they do have a great selection of that in crackers, cookies, and chips. Just got to find the sales and I use Ibotta to get rebates back. Nice place and enjoy just taking my time.

Always clean with quality products. I particularly enjoy the meat and seafood department. The butchers are personable and helpful. The produce is always quite fresh and the store is always spotless.

Best meat products in town. Wonderful deli. My sons enjoy the sushi.The vegetable prices are a bit higher than most stores.

Pleasant decor, but I ordered a full holiday meal two weeks in advance and they didnt have it. They gave me a substitute but it was not what I wanted or originally ordered. This sours any other opinions about them as Ive never been there before. Super frustrating and unacceptable for holiday planning.

By far, the best place to grab a quick lunch when you forgot your brown bag at home. They have a ton of fresh, healthy options (as well as yummy comfort foods) to choose from. I love their sushi section and the deli.

Contacted FM to inquire on availability of a specialty item. Didnt care to visit the store unnecessarily. Wanting to buy local, but after 4th the call went unanswered 3 mins, before I decided to hang up and order from Amazon. Congratulations to both vendors.

What has happened to The Fresh Market?!? Its a totally different staff and they are about as lazy and useless as they come! The food quality has gone downhill significantly and the prepared food is now just positively gross. I stopped in to pick up a sandwich for lunch and ended up selecting a wrap. When I lifted it out of the container it was sitting in a watery mess. The staff no longer makes eye contact, they dont proactively ask if you need any assistance, theyre so busy talking to each other it says if the customer is there to disrupt their social event. I love waiting in line an extra few minutes so that the staff can finish conversing amongst themselves.

My favorite place to buy my produce - and also my meat! I love shopping here because all employees care about their job and it’s always clean.

Went in looking for a specific hot pepper.. didn’t find exactly that but something similar, so that made me quite happy. Took a moment to browse. Great selection of both niche and general purpose products. Decent prices, considering the kind of market this is. I’ll definitely stop in again anytime I need something specific.Friendly and helpful staff. Produce is beyond fresh.My only complaint is the same as most any other grocery store.. a general lack of “no salt added” or lower sodium options. But I’ll not knock a star off, considering they have more than enough fresh raw ingredients to make nearly anything from scratch to meet any dietary need.

Nice inventory, but the employees are not the most welcoming or friendly.

Friendly and helpful staff. Their products are high quality and often items you can’t find elsewhere. I mostly go to Fresh Market to splurge on their wide selection of kombucha and bulk candy: chocolate covered nuts, dried fruits, caramels, and other delightful sweets. Their prices are a little steep but on par with the quality of their items.

Assistant Amanda Brown was fabulous..She helped me with everything I needed..Kirk Decker showed me around the store also..In all I would recommend The fresh market to all my friends..

Visited yesterday November 5, 2019. Purchased a large container of fresh cut fruit. Very good with the exception of some kiwi that was not ready to be cut just yet. The rest of the fruit is good. Also purchased several other items. Everything good. This store is a bit pricey but is well worth it. Always enjoy it.

Only went there 3 times! Fresh fish was full of Bones and at $ 17.00 per lb.I was totallydisappointed. If it were closer I wouldve taken it back You can find meats there that no other stores carry, (Kobe beef, andoui, etc). Helpful employees.

We would give a 5 Stars rating, but Fresh Market has a few management issues.First, the prices are sky high, the staff is hit or miss. Sometimes the staff is absolutely wonderful and provides excellent customer service. But sometimes it’s as if they lack motivation to provide customer service.One thing consistently missing is the ability to check-out. We’ve even heard of customers ready to pay that just walk out with their grocery carts, frustrated that there are only 1 cashier, or 2 at best.In our opinion, just shop Fresh Market for Thanksgiving or Christmas foods.Hey Fresh Market management, are you even listening to your associates or the customers? We think NOTHey Amazon, Fresh Market looks like a nice cheap acquisition opportunity for your grocery line of business.

Purchased the sushi that was being sampled. Perhaps the best store bought weve ever eaten. Was also a decent sales price. Other items purchased on this trip were rather pricey, so a trip to the Fresh Market should be considered as a splurge, as opposed to normal everyday grocery shopping.

I love it here period! The fruits, veggies are just mouth watering their so fresh. My favorite times of year are summer for the fruits and veggies and christmas for all the wonderful seasonal surprises. The bakery amazing. The meat department very helpful.

Love Fresh Market. I can always find good quality items that I cant find anywhere else. Tuesdays special is $2.99 Chuck and chicken breast. Cant beat that! This place is very customer oriented and will let you sample items. They also have days where they will grill out outside and sample their items

Was not pleased here on 10/7/20 when I got home and saw expiration date 10/5/20 on my milk. I usually check but was in a hurry. But I should not have to check!!!!

I have only been in this Fresh Market and the one down in South Carolina. I love them both! Huge selections of wine and organic products. The meats look fresh and plump. Good cuts of meat. The bakery always has unique desserts and I love that. Ive also never seen such huge and vibrantly colored fruits and vegetables. Seriously... They are unlike all the typical grocery stores.

Sushi chef is their Fresh kept secret. His sushi is fresh and fish is sweet.

Love Fresh Market. My go to location used to be Winston Salem but now my favorite location is off New Garden in Greensboro. The employees at the New Garden location are wonderful and friendly. Always great selection of fresh flowers and produce. The meat counter is GREAT!

Very pricey for a lot of items. You can get be the same product at Lowes and Harris teeter. The help in the salad and prepared food area was very knowledgeable and friendly

Great, small, very specific grocery store. They dont carry everything, but what they do carry is quality. And you can find things here that you cant at most grocery stores. It would be hard to do all of your shopping here, but you can get most and get it at the highest quality.

I went looking for Aloe Vera juice and was surprised to find it! Thats not something you find in every day stores. Plus they have a lovely variety of pastas and sweet candy. I definitely plan to go back.

Best place for higher quality foods, youll pay more of course, but for certain dietary preferences (organic vegetables/fruits, grass fed meats, gluten free, etc) or hard to find ingredients (particularly spices) and those into culinary/foodie culture this is the place to go. It is a suitable local alternative to Whole Foods or Trader Joes. Its not a typical grocery mega store and I find its a good go to for specific or special items, maybe not your regular weekly shopping or supplementary shopping for items you cant find or cant find cheaper at other stores. Unless you shop for a small household or dont mind paying more for the convenience and quality.

My boyfriend and I came in late Sunday with out a dinner plan. We decided to check out the deli area for ideas. We had such a nice experience at the butcher counter. The gentleman behind the counter was so kind and helpful. He offered ideas and drink pairings. His suggestions for dinner were great and his demeanor was wonderful.

I have always loved this store.. We purchased oysters from the seafood/meat department last time we were there and they were some of the best we have ever had this time of year. Highly recommend.

Fresh Market, although some may find this an interesting store, when you are on a budget this is not the place to shop. A head of Iceberg lettuce $2.99 it was not made of Silver. Although, some of the items you purchase there cannot be purchased other places, it is not worth the time spent to look around. The store itself is clean, a bit tight when you have to use a scooter. Employees, well there is another story I will not get into. Check it out, you may like it.

I love the Fresh Market, but my experience last night was not great. It was around 8pm, and the store was getting ready to close, which I understand, but the woman in the deli area was not helpful to me and almost rude to another patron. I was turned off by this. However, the cashier and another employee were very friendly and helpful.

Prices are really to high. Products were okay but pricey. Staff was okay. Store manager and asst manager were not friendly at all. When I was there they sticking there noses in some family busy and other people in the store seen it and heard. I will not shop at store every again after what I heard and seen. A man was trying to talk to daughter very nice and quite not making a seen when they told him to leave the store and never come back. To me thats to much.

The staff is the best- very helpful and friendly. Negative one star because they do not carry very many products and the ones they have are extremely obscure or the exact opposite (like coke products).

I love Fresh Market, just not the one on Robinhood Road, I have made several complaints regarding the customer service and quality of food in the deli, and the manager was nice enough to respond to my emails. After the last incident I decided that I was not going back...however yesterday I decided to give it one more try, only to be disappointed. Went at 6:00pm, when lots of folks go to pick up dinner items. There were no fruit and nut salads which was specialty sale item. Lots of other salads but none of those...I give up...

Fresh Market has food items you cant find anywhere else in the area. Best bakery in town (sorry Deweys) and the meat area is second to none.

An upscale grocery store with decent selection of fruits, vegetables, and fresh meat. They can add more organic produce, especially apples. The conventional apples look like plastic, really that much wax ?? They dont go bad for a month because even yeast wont eat them.

This is a great grocery store for specific things. For example, they have really good fish and seafood as well as all beef franks. However, for everyday shopping, the prices are out of range.
