Weve had nothing but Great Service from Kristen and Scott. They delivered as promised, a quality home for less (allot less) than surrounding competitors! The home is of high quality and craftsmanship..... we are so pleased to have had the pleasure of doing business with them, and will definitely recommend them to everyone!
While we love our double wide and found it very economical to buy from them but their customer service sucks! We bought our home through Kurtiss, who was very helpful and up until delivery, was great to work with. We got our home on March 17, 2021 and have had no contact from him, even after many emails! The man in charge of Warranty work, Ian Brown is useless. He did help us replace the outside water faucets when they both leaked. However, I have written countless emails concerning repair of outside cracks from moving it here and also to get our $165 back because they didn’t install the obscure window in the bathroom that we had ordered. Most of these emails are ignored. I’m ready to get a lawyer!
The representative Andrew was immediately rude when answering the phone. I told him I would like to know prices on some mobile homes. He said Well, I cant look up the prices without the number. I said I have the number right here and I gave it to him, but he refused giving me any prices he said Fleetwood mobile homes are on at 3 year backorder. I still wanted to know an estimate and what they normally go for to compare prices to other mobile homes. He said, I refuse to give you that information, its irrelevant. I said I would not do business with them and his remark was well, THATS AWESOME!. Then he hung up on me. This is the kind of treatment youll get when you call there for customer service questions if youre not the right person. Another thing is they have always tried to avoid selling Fleetwood and instead push their Champion Homes on you, instead, because theyre more expensive. Fleetwood should avoid doing business with Cascade Factory homes since their business is not good enough as Champion Homes. I sensed he was lying about Fleetwood being on a three-year backorder just to push more expensive homes on me, but he was so rude and disrespectful that I will never do business with this unethical company. Dont Buy Cascade Factory homes there are better businesses out there.
Buying a manufactured home in the middle of a pandemic is stressful and budgeting in unexpected price increases adds to that equation. Andrew K. was quick to answer all of our questions and was very upfront about the buying process, price increases,ECT. I felt he went way out of his way to make this a positive experience. He, along with the manager Kirk, made our home ownership dream a reality. I highly recommend working with Andrew and would give him more than just 5 stars! Thank you Cascade Factory Homes!!
Kurtiss was a great salesperson & very patient with all my questions from beginning to end. Not like a used car salesman like I have read, not in any way. And I had many questions. He was caring before & after sale & when we ran into very troublesome issues with our land they were more than helpful with us. i would recommend them highly.
One of the worst experiences ever. Just how rude and condescending they are to those who already had a bad experience should tell you something. The review responses are appalling. After spending weeks trying to even get a reply, I finally managed to try to place an order for a home. Then, right before contract signing the price is raised by over $15,000 dollars. But they SAY this price will be guaranteed. Then they expect you to sign a contract that says the price is not guaranteed, and any agreement made outside of the contract is void. So they want you to take their word for it while requiring you to sign a contract that says the exact opposite. They refuse to guarantee a time frame. Your house could take 5 years to be ready, and your 50% down is still non-refundable. But telling me in email I can have a Nov/Dec slot if the contract gets signed before someone else does. Then, because you have the audacity to ask them to add these verbal and email guarantees to the contract they will just choose to cancel your order. Over 2 months spent trying to get a home ordered to have them cancel because we want them to put their guarantees in writing. Shady. I would not recommend them to ANYONE. I have never seen business handled so poorly. Wish I would have listened to the reviews before I ever started the process with them. Dont make the same mistake I did.If in their reply they try to say anything I have said is inaccurate, I have every bit of proof to back it up.UPDATE:And your reply to my review is as ridiculous as the rest. The 5 year comment came from an actual conversation that was had. No one needs to make the company look any worse than it already makes itself. Your comments to timing have nothing to do with the morality of trying to make verbal guarantees while expecting a signature on a document that says the opposite. I am not sure how much you understand about laws, but I revealed nothing personal nor named names in my review. And you decided to divulge personal information that is of no concern to the general public about me. I would be very careful in your future replies to reviews. I have never seen any company act, and respond, as unprofessional as this one has.
I had the exact same experience with Cascade as you all have had. No need to repeat it because they dont care.BUT... !I WOULD LIKE TO WARN EVERYONE! that their contractor does not check the water pressure to the house before connecting the water line to the house. These houses can only take 80psi, mine was 240psi! It kept blowing up the water heater and I am now watching the rest of the water systems before the warranty period ends. So if youve had any problems with your water heater or water systems, its probably due to your water pressure which Cascade DOES NOT check prior to connecting the water line to the house. This goes against Fleetwoods install manual and Oregon state regs for installers. Class action anyone?Changed the final closing invoice to charge me twice for a dishwasher and add a $650 fee(?) for standard (NOT upgraded) cabinets. Neither of those charges were in the first two invoices they presented for this same home. That, right there, is fishy too. Why three invoices for the same home?I dont know why Fleetwood allows Cascade to sell their homes. Cascades heinousness business practices reflects extremely poorly on Fleetwood as well.See, I told you they wouldnt care. And he shows his ignorance in full broad daylight - see attached photo. He doesnt know the install manual NOR Oregon State install regulations. He is completely ignorant of how to install manufactured homes. HE SAID NOTHING ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY NEGLECTED TO CHECK THE PRESSURE PRIOR TO CONNECTING THE WATER PER OREGON STATE REGULATIONS AND FLEETWOODS INSTALL MANUAL. NOWHERE DOES HE SAY THAT THEY CHECKED THE WATER PRESSURE PRIOR TO CONNECTING THE WATER. NOR DID THEY TELL ME THAT MY PRESSURE WAS TOO HIGH. WHY? BECAUSE THEY DIDNT CHECK IT LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE. FLEETWOOD CAN VERIFY THIS AS THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE WATER HEATER. FLEETWOOD SHOULD HAVE MADE CASCADE DO IT.OH, and you mean PRV right? Or whats a PVR? Full stupidity on display.
I had a great experience with the sales person. I did everything over the phone and they send me what i ask for. I bought a double wide mobile home and they brought it to Washington State. It 50% less expensive that the dealership.
My mom was super excited to purchase her manufactured home back in December of 2019. They told her it would be ready by April 2020 and they didnt deliver it until June. They kept making excuses which were understandable the first few times, but it just got old towards the end. When it was delivered, it was very nicely made, theres no complaints there. However they still had to install carpet and drywall before she could go inside the home. She has been trying to get that installed for awhile now, and like before, they keep making promises and never show up. Shes been living in a camper since May, and has had to postpone a very important surgery because she doesnt have a proper place to comfortably recover. Its really disappointing that they give us a certain date, and theyre just a no show. Like I said the quality of the home is not bad, but the service is subpar. If you want your home in a timely manner, I do not recommend them.
Really dont recommend this place. They lack professionalism and communication. My mother bought her home over 8 months ago and till today its not completed! Her home has been sitting on her property for over 2 months and a half waiting for the contractor to complete it. She cant move in until the contractor completes it. We call the contractor and never answers, send a message and never replies. At the office they have been giving us so many dates that the contractor is going to finish the job, but never shows up. We are not haters we are just very frustrated and annoyed by this situation. Do yourself a favor and Take your business somewhere else.
We had the greatest experience buying our new house from these folks. We talked to dealers all over the valley and none could do better than Cascade on price or service! We got all the upgrades including granite countertops and stayed well under budget. The installers and delivery people provided byaby Cascade all did an excellent job too. We just passed our final inspections with flying colors. Couldnt be happier!
I have not yet had a chance to really see how this place is yet but I have been reading all the back and forth and the complaints and I more so agree with the company owner after looking carefully at the low reviews and it odd that they do seem like they could be coming from friends of the hater that has wrote a bad review ! and I think this rating system if extremely flawed as if someone that simply will never be happy with any kind of service can run wild making a company look bad, no matter how hard the people working there try and satisfy the customer. I have personally had that sort of thing happen to me as Im sure most of us have. I will be visiting the factory soon since Im looking for a home to possibly purchase and will make a determination from the facts. Those bad reviews are really suspicious to me. Once Ive seen the product in person that will be the real determining factor.
I want to be sure I write my own personal experience with Cascade Factory Homes because a lot of the reviews arent completely accurate and I feel a lot of the bad reviews are misunderstandings that I would like to clear up. Cascade Factory Home is buying straight from the factory so the prices are a great price but they DO CHANGE. I have seen reviews saying the prices changed so the people werent accurate but I have been nothing but understanding and talked to that the prices can change. Also the time frame for when your house can be delivered changes as well depending on how many houses are being built and when you order. Give these workers some slack because they have been nothing but great for us. Patty has been amazing and picked up the slack when a hiccup happened. Recommend this wonderful business.
Friendly people. Very helpful with looking into the manufactured home you need for the place you have chosen to set it. They have resources to check into the various requirements for a led stressful experience.
Went in to get prices returned several days later and they raised the price on 2 different homes, Palm Harbor and Skyline by $1000.00 each. My son went in the very next day and they told him the price which was $1000.00 lower than they told me, which was the 1st price they told me. Very dishonest! Needless to say I had to go out of town for another dealer I could trust.
My goal as a guide is to give accurate depictions of my experiences. We appreciate the attention and warm environment of castcade. How ever be warned if you are shopping with an FHA loan castcade does not accept FHA loans. Thats the end of it.Otherwise we appreciate the approach they bring to the buying market. Tho this issue allows dealers who do take FHA loans to corner the market and drive up prices. If you want a home no bs or show room extra charges and you dont have an FHA loan that must meet Oregon and hud loan standards you will love thier deals. I gave three stars because Staci would have known our loan was an FHA had she taken another moment to look at our loan acceptance letter that she took from us and had in hand while we were looking at models.
Dont bother....Pretty much a if you dont like the price, who cares go somewhere else kinda place.
We are doing this to give an honest review of our experience. First off we paid in full up front. Will never do that again. We hired contractors through cascade to put our home together. Bad idea awful. They never scheduled a date to show to put home together. Julie would tell us well I dont know when they are coming. Neighbors called me saying my house was all open what is going on there is people inside. Come over to find out they broke in to work on it. Feels great not. We pointed out spots that needed to be fixed and we left said theyd lock it up when done and leave key outside. Came back to house they were gone didnt leave key so i was locked out. Called Julie to find out where key was and she said they left it we looked everywhere and no key was ever found. She said Youll have to break in or call a lock smith at my expense. Wow great customer service NOT. Things we pointed out to be fixed were not done. Left huge cracks in sheet rock. Cut my lineoum flooring in several spots. Carpet was laid over clumps of plaster nails sticking through. Talk to Julie she didnt want to believe me but when We had fleetwood contractors come out they agreed. Very unhappy with this company. They have no good customer service. They dont care about their customers or how they feel. If you want a pleasant experience go with a different company. May pay a little more but well wortht the weight in gold.
Sales lady here has zero customer service. Glad I decided with another manufacturing company!
Bogus company! Had pre-approval from mortgage company, Julie at cascade resubmitted loan application for higher amount, it was approved then I was told they would not use my loan company because the manufactured home would be delivered to Washington. Owner at cascade did not want to follow rules of mortgage company to close the sale. Wow! I will take my business eleswhere.
Great deals on homes, hard to beat.
