Stopped in to buy a new mattress and bedframe during their everything must go sale. When we went to go pick up the bed we were not helped and once we went in to speak to someone they never got back to us. As we were waiting we could see employees loading furniture in storage bins but we were not assisted. We ended up leaving and having to come back a different day because a huge storm was coming and we didnt want to ruin our new bed.
This was my first ever trip to Art Van - ended up purchasing two chairs! At first I was surprised that the prices were a little higher than where Id previously been shopping, but their furniture is worth it! Much better designs and variety than Ive seen in other stores! I have no idea about construction. Personable and helpful staff also!
My salesperson Kellie was very helpful, professional and courteous. She let me look around and asked if I needed any help and to let her know if I had any questions not pushy.Had my sofa and chair delivered, the delivery service was excellent, the guys were quick, very nice and efficient, my furniture was put together and placed neatly where I wanted.
Decent sized show room with fairly priced pieces. Furniture on display seems durable. i recently had a baby so i got their 6 year warranty. I figure by the time shes 6 she will know not to draw on, poke holes in, wear out power motors by playing with them, and scratch furniture. Until then, Im covered for everything. And they also have a touch up and cleaning kit that came free with my purchase. Sales people were polite and not pushy, but attentive. Debbie was great. She answered every question we had about the furniture pieces, financing, and delivery. Only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because the furniture is all pretty standard in style. They dont have many strange, eye opening pieces, but then again they market to the vast majority of common households so i understand. Overall its a nice place to shop for and buy furniture.
I knew I wanted new couch or sectional but couldn’t decide which. Sam was amazing and asking me questions to help me decide. He didn’t try to up sell me he stayed in my budget, nor was he pushy. He helped me pick the best quality for me. So helpful and nice. I ended up going with a custom fabric so it will take a little longer and I can’t wait.

Had a great experience at this store. The staff was very helpful and helped us find the right furniture for our finished basement. The sales people will ask you if you need help often but they are not overbearing and they give you enough time and space to figure out what you like and want. Much better experience than many other places.
My salesman was so very helpful and patient. I have made purchases from Art Van before, and I was very pleased. I am sure that when my furniture is delivered it will be another very positive experience. I like the quality of the furniture that they offer. I wish the prices were a bit lower.
Sam at the Bolingbrook store is fantastic. I had a lot to accomplish after a long day of moving and he made it one of the easiest tasks of my move. I purchased what I needed, didnt over buy, everything was delivered in less than 7 days and he stayed connected until all of my items were delivered and perfectly placed. I was extremely happy with the pricing that he gave me and appreciate it him making what could have been a daunting task was so easy. Thanks, Sam. Ill be back soon for the next round.

The in-store salespeople and customer service people were fabulous, friendly and helpful.The delivery department, however, was impossible to work with, and was the sole cause of my canceling a $2200 order. They are completely inflexible, and because I have an unusual work schedule, they told me I would not have a chance to have my purchase delivered for over a month from when I bought it, despite that it was in-stock on the day of purchase and I live less than 5 miles from the warehouse. When I told the woman in delivery that their complete lack of flexibility would likely cause me to have to cancel the order and shop elsewhere, she was flippant and did not care at all.
My husband and I bought a house earlier this year and have been slowly trying to fill it. We bought a sectional and coffee table from Debby Ciancio. She is seriously the best. She is super knowledgeable, patient, kind and truly wants you to have a great experience and get the best deal possible. The sectional was delivered (free) with Art Van assembling it and respectful of our house. We recently returned to Art Van and asked for Debby to help us purchase a new bed and bedroom set. Again, Debby was great! We will continue to purchase from Art Van with continued need for Debby’s expertise.
This was a great experience from start to finish. We had a great salesman at the Woodridge location who was not pushy and helped us to pick the right couch for us. The delivery was quick and the 2 guys who delivered were very courteous and got the couch in quickly.

Sam is a nice salesman, but we ordered 2 bedroom pcs, 3 months later And it wasn’t received, my wife and I went to the store to check on the order they said it was out of stock and they can’t get it. We were told to order different ones as a replacement and we did along with 2 other furniture items, the 2 other items were delivered and again the bedroom replacement (2 nightstand ) weren’t delivered again. We spent almost 5k at this place between bedroom, mattress and tables and now we are left with a bedroom with missing items. I called and cancelled the order for the missing items and no one cared to reach out to do anything about this huge inconvenience. I don’t think I’d do business at this location again.
We purchased a Tempurpedic King Size bed with an adjustable base (lifting head and foot sections). The guys that installed it couldnt get the bed to operate at all. Were dissatisfied that Art Van would send people out to deliver a bed that they dont know how to install properly. We were able to use the bed and it is very comfortable but we have to wait a few days for someone to come and get the adjustable base of the bed working.
Dining room table and chairs look great in our newly renovated home. Delivery personnel were professional and had the table assembled in 10 minutes. One chair was wobbly. Art Van contacted me within 15 minutes to arrange a time for a technician to come to fix it. Looking forward to hosting an event.
Everyone was helpful and kind. Kerry really knew the product he was selling and helped us find the best bed for my parents. This stores attitude is driven to help the customer find the best furniture for them and not by commission.
Usually I read reviews before trying a new business. For some reason, I didnt do that before buying a dinette from Art Van. I regret that. Something that should have gone so easily turned into a huge mess. Found a dinette at the store. I was told it was in stock at the warehouse. Scheduled a pick-up from the warehouse on Wednesday (which was 4 days out). Got a call Wednesday 11:15ish that it didnt get delivered, but promised it would be there Thursday. Im confused about the term warehouse and obviously it wasnt in stock at the warehouse. Went there to pick it up. The men at the warehouse were very nice and went out of their way to load it in my car and strap the table top to the roof rack securely. Got it home. Unloaded and unwrapped the chairs. They were wrapped in oil soaked packing blankets. Two chairs were covered in black oil. I tried to clean it off but couldnt get it off. I have pictures. Two of the chairs were beyond help. The table was missing spring washers, but we put it together without them. Called to complain and was told it would be an even exchange. Just bring back the two chairs to the warehouse. BUT, they are out of stock for at least 2-1/2 more weeks. So, maybe Ill actually get them exchanged. Maybe not. Since my purchase has not yet been resolved, I will update once it is settled. Again, I wish I read the reviews. I dont think this store will be around very long. Glad I passed on the extended warranty.
I ordered a under the bed storage, frame and dresser. The dress was to be ready in late September and the bed in late October. I asked if all can be delived in late October. They called to follow-up in mid October and made the final delivery for first weekend in November. The night before the delivery they called confirmed a time period on when they might show up. I was frustrated because it was late Saturday; however, they actually were able to deliver it earlier on Saturday. The 3 men were great. Heads down, quick in setting up the bed and asked where/how to place it in the room. In and out in about 1/2 hour. Thank you!
Better service than when they were actually in business. What a shame.
This experience was wonderful start to finish from the personalized attention from the sales person to scheduling delivery all the way to the truck driver coordinating the delivery of our sofa.. I couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely purchase from Art Van again in the future.

Debby was great! She approached me when I first walked in the door. Helped me find exactly what I was looking for and with financing. Delivery service was also amazing. They showed up about an hour early but I was ready for them. They also call a day in advance to confirm.
All the Staffs are very nice and and professional. The layout of the place is marvelous and each section of the furniture is elegantly decorated. The associate, Rick assisted me and my husband to find furniture for our basement. Rick is very knowledgeable and he answered all of our questions . Not only we thought his expertise was only on furniture, but he also assisted us to find pillows that suited our needs. At the end of the day, we purchased a furniture set and 2 pillows!! We definitely recommend this Van location to all our friends and family! We will definitely go back to make other purchases because the prices are reasonable.
I needed a new couch and I have to say I never really go shopping for furniture but the experience I had with Rick at the location on Boughton in Woodridge has changed my mind about shopping in store. He was knowledgeable, thorough, kind, not pushy, funny, and all over the main reason I purchased the couch that day. I felt secure in my purchase and that I got the best couch for the budget I had to work with. I was impressed with him and the store as a whole. Highly recommend asking for Rick! We had a great first experience. We were greeted immediately when we walked in, but we were not pressured as we have found to be the case at other stores.The sales rep, Z, would just check in on us as we browsed until we were able to narrow down our choices. After that he worked with us to find the right bed and mattress. He was very knowledgeable, and very patient, as we had our 2 young kids with us as well. Everyone else that was involved in the buying process was also very friendly and helpful.I will definitely shop Art Van again.Unfortunately, we have had a few hiccups since our visit to the store. Management and the sales team have been trying their best to rectify everything, but although I will likely shop Art Van again because the buying experience was that great, I must change my original 5 star to a 4.

I had a good experience. The sales person was friendly and able to answer my questions. He was a little newer but was honest about that and when I had a question he couldnt answer he found the answer for me. He was helpful but not pushy. My delivery also went great. They showed up about an hour into my 3 hour time slot. They were friendly and efficient and set up the furniture exactly where I wanted it and removed the garbage.
Very friendly delivery men, they were neat and courteous. They were very careful in bringing in furniture and it’s setup. We couldn’t be more happier with the delivery. They removed all packing material and ensured our house was as neat as when they arrived.

Purchased a leather sectional here in May of 17. Had a complete care warranty and leather protection that we paid extra for, and when somebodys hairspray caused the finish to come off, we found that it wasnt covered. Watch the fine print...we paid extra for two trivial warranties, and got burned because we didnt pay even more for another layer of warranty. Go for quality when youre out shopping for furniture, not this junk.UPDATE: Service called us with an unacceptable proposal for us to bring in the cover from the sectional to have it dyed with no guarantee. Not exactly our idea of customer satisfaction on a leather protection warranty.

Very friendly but not sure why I was immediately directed to the clearance section. Why would I want to buy furniture without a warranty? or worse have to buy a 3rd party warranty, are people that goofy to go along with such a purchase? They do have some really nice furniture in the none-clearnace section but it kind of ruined my buying mood when I was shown the clearance section first. I might go back.

I have purchased some couches and a bed frame from here. Great and friendly. But I didnt like being followed around after I politely said I was just looking. Made me hesitate on purchase because I couldnt shop without being interrupted by sales people. Making a sales pitch at every item I glanced at.
Jimmy was very helpful, no high pressure, and even honored the sales price from the day I came in even though I didnt order until 2 days later.

After sleeping on a waterbed for 30+ years, I decided to go with the New model Serta foam mattress CF 4000 Plush, I think its the closest match to my waterbed (like sleeping on a cloud). Art Van was the only store (15m.- radius)that had the CF4000 P. Thanks Art Van for the Speedy delivery.

Sales associate at the store in Bolingbrook was very helpful and knowledgeable. However, Its been 30 days since purchase. We were promised a $250 gift card with that sale. Called store to inquire about when gift would be received. Was told to call Art Van customer service. Have tried calling their VIP Customer Service line numerous times. It rings through then it just drops the call. Called store was told try going on line to solve issue. Feel like Im getting the run around ... very unhappy.Two weekd later still waiting for gift card. Per Art Van should be received within 30 days. Will update upon receipt.

First time shopping at Art Van. Fantastic experience from the sales people to the quality and price of the furniture to the delivery and set up. I will be a customer for life!!
**UPDATE** Not only was the delivery delayed two hours from the estimated time (the sofa wasnt picked up until 9:00pm on Saturday 2/14/2015), it was also been 12 days and I have not been issued a refund as promised.--Long story short, they delivered the wrong sofa to me and it was an absolute pain trying to get in contact with someone to fix the problem, which eventually led to contacting corporate. Expecting to receive a full-refund after returning the sofa and being very disappointed in the services from Art Van.To elaborate, my in-store experience was great. The sales woman, Janina was wonderful and not the overbearing sales person that follows you around the store. But when the sofa was delivered and unwrapped in my apartment, it was the wrong one (although very similar styles, but still not what I ordered). After sitting on hold for 15 minutes and getting disconnected, I had to call back for a manager only to tell me that it must have been mislabeled in the warehouse in Michigan, but they can schedule a time for the correct one to be delivered and pick up the incorrect sofa. I was very disappointed that I would have to take time off work AGAIN to be available for Art Van to correct their mistake.Eventually I was given contact info. for their corporate office where I was finally able to talk to someone who would help me- Cheri, a Senior Service Consultant. I was so frustrated at this point I told her I just wanted a full refund and to get this sofa returned. She scheduled the pick-up time for a Saturday so I wouldnt have to take time off work and was very timely and efficient in communicating the refund process with me.Unfortunately the pick-up got delayed past the two-hour time frame I was given as I was told the truck was held up at another customers house with a difficult delivery. My original time-frame for pick-up was 5-7pm. Although I am very fortunate the delivery service called to update me frequently on the status/delay, my sofa was not picked up until 8:50pm.A full refund is expected to be processed within 7-10 days in which I will NOT be returning to Art Van to find a new sofa, but looking elsewhere.

Outstanding customer service at Woodridge and Downers Grove locations. Sales staff was knowledgeable and courteous and never pushy. I very satisfied with my purchases.
The quality of the furniture was fine, and the price was reasonable.However, the first time I bought from them, the delivery was 2 weeks late, and one of the items that was delivered was the wrong color. Rather than taking the item back with them, the delivery crew said we had to keep it, and it would be picked up when the correct item was delivered. It was another 6 weeks before that happened.The 2nd time we bought from them, we arranged to pick up the furniture. We were told it must be picked up on a particular day. The only time indicated on the form, which threatened that the furniture would be sent back to the warehouse if we did not pick it up on this particular day, was the stores hours of operation. We arrived at that day an hour after the store opened, and were told that it was still on the truck that delivered it to the store (the truck was in the stores dock but not unloaded) and would not be available for 4 hours or more. They then offered to deliver it for half price 4 days later, when we had already paid to rent a truck to pick it up on the day we had been told to do so.My advice, if the item you want isnt in stock and available for you to pick up yourself that day, dont buy anything.

Very friendly and didn’t follow us around the store. Just gave her name and said if we have questions to ask. That’s the way it should be, not herding you at the door and staying in your back pocket. Will go back for sure.
